William (10/5): Great location inclusive of breakfast and parking - Very comfortable room and bed. Extra large bathroom with a top tier shower. Breakfast was delivered and it was substantial and tasty too. Nice hardworking innkeepers and staff!
Ruth (10/5): Wish the stay was longer - This is an absolutely beautiful B&B. A very relaxing, quiet area. This is the first time in 27 years we have stayed at a B&B. We loved it. The parking lot could use some spucing up and the flight of stairs were a bit of a challenge with luggage for an 11 day trip. Other than that it was perfect.

Ann (10/5): - This was our first time experiencing a bed and breakfast so we didn't quite know what to expect. The building was very nice and easy to access. Very cozy and quiet area. Room was perfect and very clean. Bed and pillows were delightful and extremely comfortable! The shower was amazing with great water pressure. Breakfast was delicious! The only constructive recommendation from us is that being we aren't big sweet breakfast eaters, we were left a little hungry one morning bc there was french toast- 3 small thick pieces and the other dish was a small breakfast sandwich with extra bacon on the side. If doing an English muffin breakfast sandwich for a dish for 2 people to share, having 2 sandwiches would be my only recommendation bc 1 sandwich was only 2-3 bites a piece and not very filling. But the food was delicious and full of flavor! Definitely would come back! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Ciara (8/5): - Cobwebs in main areas. Asked for no onions with the breakfast that was offered because of an allergy and everything besides the fruit has onions. The fitness center was closed which they didn’t indicate anywhere or put up a which they didn’t indicate anywhere or put up a sign, and the coffee bar didn’t have refrigerated creamer, which was a little bizarre. Overall, the place was pretty clean, but the room did smell like varnish or something. Self check in and check out made things easier and the area itself felt safe. Just wish there was a bar or restaurant in the hotel and maybe that you got to select what you ate for breakfast. Also a little bizarre having to send a photo of my personal drivers license. I’ve never had to do that booking any other property or hotel before, but maybe this is standard protocol, I’m not sure.

ROLANDO (10/5): - The Sheridan was conveniently located close to downtown Milwaukee which was great since we were attending a festival at Veteran's Park. The town of Cudahy is a very nice little town right near Lake Michigan. Very safe and quiet area. The free parking lot across the street was super convenient and the room was fabulous. Breakfast was right on time and delicious. Jane, the owner, and her staff were very friendly and courteous throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this boutique style B&B and will be booking again in the future. Thank you, Jane and Staff!!

sharon (8/5): We were slightly dissapointed - We were slightly dissapointed and not sure it lives up to its reputation or the £250 per night price tag. On a basic level the wifi was awful, there was nowhere to eat breakfast and the big ugly air con unit in the room spoiled the ambiance somewhat. No access to outside space without going outside the front of the hotel and walking around through the car park. No acknowledgement when checking out. Overall it was good, hence our 4/5 rating, but it could and probably should be better.

During our three-night stay, we received daily room service and never encountered any other guests in the hallways. There were no long waits for the elevator, and the environment was pleasant, peaceful, and safe. The highlight of our stay was the breakfast delivered to our door each morning! The food was fantastic, with plenty for both of us, and we didn’t have to get dressed to fetch it. That’s a win for us! Thank you so much for the excellent customer service and a wonderful stay. Christine (10/5): Perfect One night stay in Napa suite - Everything was wonderful! King sized bed, comfortable, soft cozy sheets, pillows, comforter. Coffee/tea/wine/soda/beer right down the hall. $ donations requested for wine/beer to replenish for other guests. Fireplace and nice sitting area in room. Heating/AC worked well. Bathroom-spotless, nice flooring, shower is amazing. Spouts of water coming out of the walls all over. A spa like experience. Soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all provided and smelled good. Robes included for during the stay. Fluffy thick towels provided. TV on the wall above a desk. Door to suite locked securely, and main door to get in was also very secure. We felt 100% safe. Didnt get to enjoy the patio, only because we didnt have time, but it looked beautiful, tables and chairs in a pretty courtyard. Right across the street from the lake, walking/biking paths. Great location. Parking lot big and across non busy street from building. Breakfast served outside our room promptly at 845 as we requested. Delicious breakfast sandwich, fried potatoes, fruit assortment, sweet pastry, yogurt and granola. Good amount of food and all very good. Rooms are on 2nd floor, no elevator but wide stairs and easy walk up to 2nd floor. We loved everything about our stay. The only change we'd make is staying longer. Clean, cozy, good food, lovely decor, all the extras like the keurig coffee down hall and wine,wonderful shower,yummy breakfast. Definitely recommend to anyone staying in or near Cudahy

Also really miss a coffee machine in the room---dislike going down a hall to get a cup of coffee early in the morning---don't like meeting other people in their pajamas and don't feel like getting fully dressed to get a cup of coffee at 6 or 7 am. Asked for an 8am breakfast but it was moved to 8:30---didn't want to wait so left without it. Disappointing.

Donald (10/5): Very Nice Stay in Cudahy - Easy check- in experience. Parking was simple and very close to key retrieval. That's very convenient when it's cold outside. Location makes it easy to get to other spots in Milwaukee. If course, then you have the lake which is walking distance.

Evelyn (2/5): - I stayed at the Sheridan Bed and Breakfast on Saturday the 22nd of October for my husband’s birthday and let me tell you- this has been the WORST experience of my life, staying anywhere- ever. From the time I booked it, I was sent via Expedia this message at Oct 22 3:11 PM “Respond accordingly: indicate time preference for breakfast (served to your room between 8 and 9 AM daily) including day of your departure. This service is included in your stay! Due to self-check-in for your safety and ours we are requiring a picture ID such as a Driver’s license, take a picture using your cell phone and forward to this email. After your response you will get another email with full details and instructions on how-to retrieve your guestroom keys.” I responded both on Expedia at Oct 22 3:15 PM with the totality of the information requested and sent my information to the email they included, which was jane@sheridansbnb.com I sent Jane an email on 10/22/22 at 4:28pm with my drivers license as well, my full name, my phone number, and my email address. While we were there, a table broke, the woman working the desk named Sarah, told us not to worry about it, and even offered to take it out of the room, she ensured us we would not be charged. I look at my bank today and they slammed me for $300 extra for this table, which is more than the room itself. This table broke from luggage being put on it and me leaning over the suitcase to put a shirt away. The owner is TERRIBLE. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

DENISE (10/5): - Sheridan's was a beautiful place to stay. Decor was pretty and the surrounding parks are wonderful. It looks like the area is starting to get some options for dinner/bars. The neighborhood is cute and safe. I would say the only negative I would have was eating breakfast in the room was a bit awkward, a small bistro table maybe be more useful than the desk.

Birsen (8/5): - Overall it was fine. But their breakfast hours are very strict. I had a meeting at 8:30 am I requested a breakfast at 7:30 it was not possible. Next day they expected to give me again breakfast hours. They don’t have any place to have breakfast. I stayed B&B in other places never had to have my breakfast at my room. Breakfast is fine but it came for one person. They told me that Expedia reserved for one person. Whereas when I checked my reservation at Expedia it was for 2 persons. When I reserve with Expedia usually my correspondence is minimal with the hotel. But they kept on sending emails asking my ID, Address etc. overall it was very clean, quiet B&B. Their shower was outstanding. I am not sure if I would stay there again. It can be fine if you are on vacation but not for business trip in my judgment.
Sandra (10/5): Love Cudahy! - The Sheridan is amazing. The outdoor patio was great and the breakfasts were to die for delicious! I stayed there last year and came back again. Only bad part is carrying your own suitcase up steps. They do warn you about that tho.

Basically, you get one sweet breakfast and one savory breakfast (egg and bacon sandwich, and pecan French toast). No choice. We asked for no cheese for one of the breakfasts and that was accommodated. Oddly, there was also a side salad.

William (10/5): What a gem! - This property is a must stay when visiting Milwaukee! A quality bed and breakfast experience enhanced by a quiet and clean room with several amenities. Upgrades are modern but still maintains a historic charm. The breakfast served to your room was fresh and amazing! The property has plenty of free parking and is located within walking distance to a lakefront park and several local bars and restaurants. Check in and out were simple. I will be staying here again when in town!
Verified traveler (6/5): Convenient location, great parking. - Never saw anyone to check in, got the key from a box. We were threatened with cancellation if we didn’t ahead of our reservation forward them a copy of a drivers license. I wasn’t comfortable putting that on the internet in an email. The bed was comfortable, clean. The HVAC kept us awake cycling on and off. The TV remote was difficult to use even with the instructions provided. A nice breakfast was provided on a tray to the room in the morning. The parking was convenient and right at hotel.

Chelsea (10/5): Exceptional, memorable - I found where I'll be staying every time I'm in town! I will NEVER stay anywhere else. The check in process was flawless, the prior to arrival courtesy call was considerate and impressive. The room itself was glorious and beyond their description. Aaand location is ideal for anyone taking the ferry. Now stop reading these reviews and book already! It won't disappoint!!

Verified traveler (10/5): - The is truly a hidden gem!!!! I booked this stay for my wife’s birthday and we had a ball. The room (Tuscany) looked amazing and had a warm inviting feel to it. I really was impressed by the seclusion of the place. I know there were other people on site but we just felt like it was a private getaway for the two of us. And I really wanted to know who made the breakfast because it was amazing, it tasted similar to the food back home in Georgia.😊😊😊

Verified traveler (10/5): Best Bathroom - The Bathroom is great. It's probably the nicest bathroom I've ever been in. The sheet was wet when we arrived but management was right on it to get it changed. I'm sure the cute B&B features weren't on their best display thanks to Covid, but I was ver impressed with the taste of the breakfast.

Stephen (10/5): Just love the place - The owner, Jane, and her staff made our stay a wonderful experience for our 30th anniversary. Covid prevented us from going to Caribbean but they certainly made up for it. It was our third summer in a row there and won't be our last.

John (10/5): Wonderful stay - All the stay were extremely helpful and attentive to your needs. Alex served us breakfast 3 days and after the first day, she knew what we wanted for breakfast. Very nice. The suite was wonderful with a two person hot tub. Treat yourself and stay here. We cannot wait to return.
