- JACK (8/5): Good place to stay 1 or 2 nights. It's rating should be higher. - The Pool was nice. We swam laps. Water temp 74°F. The property manager was very helpful. The free, strong WIFI Network was not available to us until the day we left. But it should be good in the future.
- Hector (9/5): -
- Poirier (8/5): -
- jay (2/5): Disgusting room - The room smelled, bathroom floors, walls, tub and sink were disgusting we could not stay in the room. No refund just paid 260.00$ and left it was that bad.
- Janczewski (3/5): Poor -
- Janczewski (7/5): Good -
- Marissa (5/5): Good location and clean enough good value for money-the man at the desk is out of control. - The owner or man at the front desk is unbelievably rude and needs to retire. What could have been better is not arguing with someone through a window. Hire someone.
- Austin (9/5): Superb - It was nicer than I expected for a motel. Very clean and it was quick/easy check in. Close to the highway, food and shopping. They are older style rooms which is what I expect from a motel but it was more than good for a place to sleep for the night?
- Heather (7/5): Good -
- Daniel (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (6/5): - No Bedside lamps. Rude service
- Patricia (8/5): Very good -

- Luis (2/5): We had rented 2 bedrooms for 6 people 3 adults and 3 kids utbin on of the bedrooms they were bed bugs everywhere and we - I just kike the location. They were bed bugs in the two beds.
- Ronnie (2/5): Very poor -
- Tracy (1/5): Bad - It's very close to Onset Beach When we arrived we were told that they had a transformer go out, which meant we may or may not not have lights A/C etc...we were told utility company was working on it..Entering the room we were happy to find we had lights... but the AC was blowing out hot air softly but was "working" called the front desk.. and he confirmed yes it should be on within 45 minutes... Just thought it was odd that that the AC was working just not very powerful... it was sweltering in the room, and we couldn't even use the pool "because no electricity" there were dead spiders all along the ceiling, we were also told that we would have adjoining rooms because my mother in law and sister in law were also in town and we thought it would be fun to spend the night... however the rooms were not adjoining as promised... We left within 10 minutes of checking in... I understand something's were out of the hotels hands... but could have offered us minimum a one nights stay at another time because we were unable to enjoy ANY of their amenities
- Lee (5/5): Passable -
- Frank (8/5): Very good -
- James (6/5): Pleasant - Beds are like bricks did not sleep well
- Churchill (8/5): Staff helpful with a booking issue stay was pleasant -
- Churchill (8/5): Very good -
- Ireland (4/5): Disappointing - Location Cleanliness could be improved on
- Kelly (1/5): Rude and dishonest - Combative owner/check in. Site said pet friendly and was called early in the AM to leave because no dogs allowed. TV did not work for 4 hours. Never smoked in room but was told repeatedly NO Smoking. No kidding! Rude rude rude. The pool looked dirty and unmaintained. Overpriced for the dump this place is
- Rachel (1/5): Bad - I booked the Atlantic Motel in Wareham MA to stay for one night with my family. When we got there the room had the bed made but there was sand in the sheets. My 6 year old daughter brought me a Twisted Tea can which was by her bed near the bathroom and later found paraphernalia by her bed as well. The rooms were not cleaned. We didnt have an iron in our room, an iron outlined burn mark was on the ground outside the bathroom. There was pubic hair on the mirror in the bathroom. There was no microwave which was advertised. The outdoor seasonal pool was also advertised but gaited and locked when we got there. I got this room specifically for the pool area which we were unable to use, and we didn't have access to the lounge chairs which were locked with the pool as well. This room was nothing like advertised and was not cleaned. I want a refund as this hotel was falsely advertised. We left as soon as we woke up the next morning after we drove from Connecticut to get there.
- Carla (1/5): Bad - nothing smell very bad! dirty room
- Thomas (7/5): Will never stay at this facility again as they are dishonest in representing Booking.com. - bed was comfortable but no local tv stations with dish network. outlet near bed didn’t work..repair’s slipshod. When we checked out charges were over $5 more than what I paid with you. I called the hotel about the overcharge and apparently I was refunded the Booking.com charge but I still had to pay the higher price as charged by Atlantic Hotel.
- Morse (7/5): Good -
- Frank (9/5): Superb -
- Jesse (1/5): I hadn’t seen a friend in a very long time and we were sitting out on the porch talking we basically didn’t sleep all ni - Where door locked was all broken and cracked no icemaker
- Richard (8/5): Very good - Nice clean rooms. Helpful staff. Can be hard to get in and out of. Only 1 entrance on a busy street.
- Michael (6/5): Avoid - Room was clean but outdated. I checked in through an open window, not sure why. Pool bottom was dirty.
- Laurence (7/5): AAA approved. But, have your eyes wide open. - I rented two (2) rooms for race event. One of the two (2) rooms had a heavy tobacco odor and, honestly, made me nauseous. Also, as I was taking my luggage to the hotel room, a resident asked me if I could make an alcohol run for him. He was really scetchy looking and it made me wonder if the hotel also doesn't serve as a shelter for transients. See above.
- Gary (5/5): Passable -
- Sharon (1/5): Short - What breakfast. Location good Gives new meaning to shabby sheak
- Michele (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I thought it was a dated room with an old mattress. Depressing
- Robert (6/5): Our time at the Atlantic - Well the 1st night was fine, unfortunately we had to stay until Sunday on Saturday the plumbing backed up everywhere, the owners were not here the handyman was in charge, I said I wanted another room, he came back and said ok it’s on the 2nd floor, my wife is handicapped no elevator. I said what about the room teo doors down, he responded that that’s a More expensive room! I said BFD it’s your plumbing inconveniencing is! Not real happy be glad when tomorrow comes.
- mikeandjanet13 (2/5): Not what you want - The service was quick when we had to call for clean sheet. I always check the sheets BEFORE we go to bed. So, this particular time, I pulled the bedspread and sheets back and YUCK - the center of the sheets were all wrinkled and hair everywhere. The bath towels and wash clothes were DIRTY - not stained - DIRTY. Cob webs in the bathroom in the corner of the tub and up on the sink Yeah - never to stay there again :(
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I don’t know the address yet so what the heck... I went out but I don’t know the address yet
- Marcia (8/5): Atlantic Hotel - Our stay was very comfortable. This is an older motel but very well kept up. The room was clean and inviting. It is directly off I495 but very quiet. Did not hear any traffic at all. Close to dining and gas stations. We arrived late at night and the owner was very pleasant and helpful.
- marciacQ1350IQ (8/5): Nice place - We were very late arriving at night. The owner was pleasant and helpful. This is an older motel but clean and well taken care of. It is right off I495 but very quiet. Has a nice pool. Nice place to stop.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - To start, the owner at the front desk very rude about us booking our room through Expedia. There was confusion about the payment, as I believed I payed through Expedia, and he would not let me explain the misunderstanding. I attempted to hand him my credit card and he would not take it, stating that I need to go call Expedia. I was speaking and he looked over me to start taking other customers when we were not even checked in. He was rude and extremely unprofessional. When settled, he handed us a room key for a room with 2 Queen beds and when I stated that I booked the 1 King room ahead of time, he told us that we should “feel lucky”. Upon entering the room, it was absolutely not worth the $200 that was just spent. It was a non-smoking room that reeked of stale cigarettes, it was dirty, and absolutely infested with bugs. There were gnats all over the walls, bugs crawling on the bed, pincher bugs on the walls and in the bathroom. We were so horrified by how many bugs were surrounding our every move that we had to leave in the middle of the night and travel home. It was extremely unsanitary and disturbing to spend that type of money on such an awful environment. Will never return and I urge others to not even give it a chance because you will regret wasting your money there.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This is a nice little no-frills place to stay. The staff are polite and welcoming, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for our needs. If you are looking for a nice place to sleep while you explore the area, this is an excellent choice.
- Pam (8/5): Nice for a quick stay - The room was a typical hotel room. There was a small refrigerator and a microwave. There is also a small table with two chairs. The bed was comfortable. The location is off one of the main roads and is near several activities.
- AnneCM222 (6/5): Not terrible - I was expecting a lot worse but I didn’t see any bugs or visible dirt/ stains. The bathroom did feel grimey. Its definitely outdated and not a “nice place” but It’s not that bad if you just need a place to sleep.
- KevinMoran (2/5): - Second time I reviewed. Rooms smelled terrible. Like cigarette smoke and pesticide. I didn’t even try to get my money back. Had to get out of there quickly. My kids were mortified. Ended up going to another hotel. Hard tobelieve the Atlantic is one of your choices. I expect more from Expedia and will not use you guys again
- 221kerryo (8/5): Very quiet - This motel was very quiet ,the bed was very comfortable ,had nice pool ,and very convienent location to stores and restaurants. I would def stay here again. Was in town for the fireworks .Also town has some very nice beaches for walking and sightseeing.
- George (8/5): Convenient location - The room was neat and comfortable. Access to local highways is good. Easy check in and check out.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Like stepping into the 70's - It's fine if you need to crash, manager was nice, place was quiet. But it's very outdated. I had to keep my socks on because the floors were so old. Smelled like my grandparent's house. Bedding was pretty ancient. I wouldn't bring a family here unless you're desperate.
- Matthew S (8/5): Excellent service! - Basic, clean, comfortable motel. The manager went out of his way to be accommodating and provide excellent service, which was most appreciated by me and my friend. Would definitely stay here again!
- gail (4/5): Bates motel looking. - Too scary to approach. No lights. No cars. Seedy area. We were forced to leave and try and another place to sleep. I am out all the money I spent to not stay there. Would appreciate a refund and for you folks to re-evaluate this place. Thanks
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Just about average. Tired & worn.
- bwjmoose (2/5): Costly for lack of services - When walking into the room a old musty, smokey odor hit me. I left the door open for a while hoping it would help, then turned air conditioner on which was old damaged, had knob's missing and blew an awful smelly air. The furniture was old, damaged and dirty. Cobb webs in the light fixtures and under desk. The refrigerator was old and dirty, the ice bucket was used for ashtray and not cleaned. Room was very dark and lacked of electrical outlets. Beds sheets and mattress covers had nasty stains. Strange, shady looking people were standing outside of room smoking. Part of hotel is homeless living quarters
- Deborah (8/5): nice stay - It was nice right down the road from where we need to go. the smoke smell was a bite much for a non smoking room
- John (8/5): It had a bed and a shower - This place is dated but the room was clean. The shower had good pressure. I stayed here as I had an event to attend at the Elks lodge around the corner and did not want to drive home. It had a fridge and microwave in the room. It had a TV which I never turned on. It also had free wifi which I did not use extensively (Netflix or videos etc).
Nothing fancy here. If you just need a place to crash this is the place for you.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Fall Time stay at The Atlantic Motel. - The non smoking room was filled with the smell of smoke. I started sneezing soon as we entered the room. It was a Saturday night, and there was some yelling out doors This was between the hours of 12 and 1am.. A few people hanging out side in the parking area.
- John (6/5): Decent budget motel - This was a nice bidet hotel near the area I needed to stay
- 817reneea (6/5): Old but clean - It took me about 30 min to try this place because of the photos but after finding everything else booked it was my a beggars aren't choosers approach. Like others noted the rooms are dark and dated. They also hold a musty smell. Presumably from the rugs. For a highly sensitive allergy person this might be a hard place to stay... That said
I was pleasantly surprised at how clean my room was. It's obvious the manager takes pride in his work. The bathrooms look like they've had a re-bath job done. The bedding was fresh and clean. I didn't spot so much as a spider and I looked. Bugs are a deal breaker for me. I'd stay here again but the price is a bit much. I know it's cape cod but 137.00 for that dated a room is a bit crazy. Consider using some of the money to replace carpets.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Cape trip. - Old building, old bed. TV not great. Served as a reasonable priced place to sleep.
- PrinzErik (10/5): A nice find - We were leaving Cape Cod looking for a place to stay for the night. We found this old fashioned no frills, family run (21 years same owner) motel. Reasonable rates. Clean! Functional furnishings - couch, end tables, sturdy coffee table, comfortable chairs, desk, etc. In room coffee, flat screen cable TV, free wi-fi, refrigerator with freezer, micro-wave, hair-dryer, iron with ironing board. Efficient, quiet HVAC. Friendly, helpful family owners.
- 554caram (2/5): Sketched out - We wanted just to stay one night so we were charged $10.00 more for a room that smelled....everything was old looking....there was mold around bathroom sink on the cocking....if you stand on the deck and look down, there were mice running around....gross!!!! Please drive by!
- MarthaH681 (8/5): Would recommend - After being stranded with a broken down car, we were fortunate to be able to walk to the Atlantic Motel. The staff was extremely helpful, able to provide a non-smoking room and accommodate our pet on a moment's notice. We stayed for 2 nights. The room was comfortable, clean, had microwave and small fridge. The pool was an extra bonus and it was well kept and pleasant. They were very nice, providing us with directions, recommendations on things to do in the area and suggestions for help with our car. We are very lucky we found them and were happy with our stay!
- CrappieCharlie (8/5): I Shall Return - Being from the Wareham area ( many years ago ) I now go back home a week a year in the Summer. Last year was the first time I used The Atlantic. I was most pleasantly surprised by the friendliness, cleanliness and accomodations for a small town motel. It is close to both Wareham and Buzzards Bay. While it's not The Ritz ( who would expect that in E Wareham ? ), I will book this year's vacation there as well!
- mamaof2grls (4/5): Never again! - When my two year old went to pull the blanket back there was hair in sheets and all on the pillow in both beds! There was white blotches of something on the carpet throughout the room. The room also had a horrible smell to it, if by choice I would NEVER stay here or suggest it to anyone. Weather on or off season they should stay clean year round!
- Zaqok (8/5): Definitely a good choice - Excellent location, clean rooms with basic amenities, we were four and they had a room with 2 large beds, so all of us could stay together in one room just for $160!!
MMA is just about 10 minutes drive and so is Onset Beach.
The owners are courteous and helpful.
I would recommend this place for its value, cleanliness and location.
- fluffnfold (6/5): Worked Well for Our Unplanned Stay - We spent one unplanned night here when our car broke down on the way home from a weekend in Cape Cod. While I wouldn't have stayed here otherwise, the motel was perfectly acceptable. Our room was clean, with a king-size bed and small table and chairs (more comfortable club chairs than simple dining chairs). Decor seemed a bit different for every room, but was modern and up-to-date. Not the finest mattresses or linens, but more than adequate. There is a small outdoor pool, but you must request access because the owners keep it padlocked. The motel is two story, with all non-smoking rooms (but you can smoke outside on the porch/upper walkway). TV, phone, iron/board, hairdryer provided, but very limited/basic toiletries. Without a car, we were still able to walk to a number of places, including a convenience store, pizza shop, and Chinese food restaurant right around the corner. Also close by are a Chili's and a Ninety-Nine Steakhouse, and a strip mall with a Wal-Mart, grocery store, Blockbuster (although there is no DVD or VCR in the room), TJ Maxx, liquor store, fast food outlets, and a water park (seasonal). Look for this hotel’s website online at [--]--for such a small property, they have an extensive website with good links. AAA discount available.
- bobpatella (10/5): My home away from home - Excellent motel, close to everything and onset beach, Good value for the money. I reserved at one of the other motel in the town. I didnot like the room so I ask clerk for the closest one. I have stayed here twice and may be coming back again. I am recommending to everybody I know.
