• Ihar (10/5): - Все отлично, за 15 дней завтрак из 4 вариантов немного приедается. В некоторых номерах на последнем этаже между крышей и потолком живут голуби. Скребут ногами по потолку и гурчат.
• ELIEL (8/5): Bom custo benefício. - Boa localização a 400m da praia, quarto espaçoso. Café da manhã voltado para orientais, com apenas uma opção todos dias para ocidentais. O chuveiro do meu banheiro ou era frio ou muito quente, não ficava morno.

Уборка в номере каждый день. Матрас продавлен со всех сторон так, что пружины впиваются в спину, спать просто невозможно, мы с супругом спали поперек кровати на одеяле дополнительно))) Маленький душ, неудобное крепление для лейки (льет вперед, а не под наклоном на человека), вся мебель старенькая, слышимость сильная.

• Anna (9/5): Overall a great value for money. - The location is excellent, a little away from all the noise, but less than 10-min walk from the beach. We got a north-facing balcony which was great as it wasn't too hot in the afternoon. The bed was huge (2 separate mattresses on a single base). Plenty of storage space for clothes and other stuff. Breakfast was plain&decent, a choice of 4 options /9all include tea/coffee, toasts and fruit), nothing to complaint about, but for the same 150 thb you can get a meal outside, so next time I wouldn't pay for breakfast in advance. Booking form said that children age 0-3 can get a free cot, but in fact it's an extra charge of 300 thb/day. It's good the administrator mentioned that before we arrived, but the booking page is misleading.

Not much going on with the property for facilities. Patio chairs were in rough shape too. It was also loud until the bars down the street shut down but that’s to be expected in the area.

• 456hildef (10/5): Great hotel - We have been at this hotel many times. Lovely staff . This year we stayed at the hotel for 21 days. The room is clean ,and very good beds. You get beachtowels every day. Good breakfast . If you need any help, the staff will help you. When we are going back to Karon , we are going to stay at this hotel again.

• yogaflowjo (10/5): Little gem - I recently stayed in this lovely Hotel whilst having dental work done in Karon. Previously I have stayed at Centara (next door, very expensive), but was pleasantly surprised. Small, family run establishment, immaculately clean, in a central location surrounded by dozens of great little restaurants. There is no pool but only 5-10 minutes walk to beach. Would not hesitate to stay again.

God mat, Reint over alt, fantastisk STAFF, reiser vi til Phuket, bor vi kun på Hotel de Karon, vi har ingen ting å trekke ifra. 10 poeng av 10 mulige
• K9fredlab (10/5): Great hotel - Great hotel and clean. Breakfast very tasty,Rooms are kept very clean and staff are very polite and will go out of their way to help and make you feel welcome. Hotel quiet at night and we have stayed at the Centara for 5 years and felt this hotel has the same high standards except this hotel is more of a family feel about it. Would recommend and stay at this hotel again. Brilliant hotel.

• 249wscotth (8/5): Great location, clean hotel with friendly staff - The property is in a good location for all amenities of Karon and a 5 minute walk to the beach. We stayed 15 nights over the festive period with a family of four including a 2 year old and had no complaints as we knew what we were coming to Pleasant staff with the rooms cleaned daily to a high standard and overall good value for what you pay. No pool and WIFI intermittent outwith that I would recommend as safe and secure rooms .
• PultuPupu (2/5): Painful 3 Nights - I’ll be straight forward They don’t have swimming pool No kettle in 1st floor rooms We are in their restaurant ones and had stomach problem No phone or iron The toilet had hair from previous guests! No buffet breakfast. Sea is good 10-15 min walk and you have to cross two roads. However the main road near is busy with many shops, pubs and massages around. We got room in 1st floor initially but after we complained they moved us to 2nd floor which was slightly better. This is hardly a 1-2 star. Would never go back.

• Giovanni (10/5): Ok karon - Hotel al centro della città con poche pretese, ma di recente ristrutturazione. Camera ampia con balcone molto arieggiata e luminosa. Pulizia nella norma, da rivedere gli asciugamani x il bagno che sono sfinito, ma si impegnano e li cambiano giornalmente.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Close to the beach and the restaurants - The location is OK but the hotel itself is not that great. We had a room at the back which we found was overlooked by the dormitories of the local workers. The front of the hotel is just as bad as it overlooks the street where traders and tourists are milling about all day. The manager is not the friendliest but the other staff are better. The restaurant looks OK but we did not eat in there once. The room was OK but a little basic. The tiling needs work in the bathroom and the shower goes from hot to cold and any time of day. The TV if that is important is an awful old CRT unit with a few English speaking channels. The Aircon was effective and bed not to bad. We had ants but no roaches as extra guests but it was not too much of an issue. The view over the dorms from the balcony is separated by a little stream that runs through a culvert, I thought it would be Mosquito he'll but it was not to bad, I did get a few bites though. The beach at Karon us excellent thought, way better than the beach at Patong. This beach makes up for the shortfall in the lack of pool at the hotel. Lastly we used phuketshuttle to take us to the airport at they are significantly cheaper that the hotel price for picking you up etc.
• somelikeithot499520 (8/5): nice hotel but - very nice hotel clean and well kept only problem we had was the shower we were in a room on the top floor facing otools irish bar and the shower had no pressure we did complain and was told it was the pump and it was going to get repaired but it never did apart from that every thing else was ok
• jomac3927 (6/5): Recommend short stay only - I stayed here for 3 nights and I wouldn't recommend any longer. The price I got for my room was cheap so I couldn't expect much. The beds were OK but my pillow was terrible, however the air conditioning was very good. There is no pool but is a about a 10 min walk to the beach and the hotel provide beach towels free of charge.
• 303dano (10/5): Cheap and cheerful - The hotel was great value for money. The breakfast was ok. There was a couple of hot meal options which along with the free tea/coffee and fruit filled you up till lunch. The hotel and room was clean and comfortable. The decor isn't anything to get excited about but was great for the money. Although we would have liked a couple more pillows. You can get free, returnable beach towels at reception everyday which was great. The location is good for shops/ restaurants/ beach. The Thai massage ladies in the area of the hotel were pretty irritating as they pester you every time you walk past - but of course this is of no fault of the hotel. The area around the hotel can be quite busy and seems to be a cheaper area but if that's not your thing you can easily walk down the road to more bars/restaurants. We preferred to have a stroll down the promenade at night for restaurants etc. Karon beach is great! Clean, 'squeaky', fine, white sand. Big waves. You can find a quiet spot easily enough.
• shandisco (10/5): Hidden Gem. Must Try. - Day 7 of 2 week trip and wished we'd eaten here sooner. Kitchen spotlessly clean and food was excellent. The pork and chicken schnitzel was amazing and we also had a massaman curry which was superb. So nice to be served on lovely crockery and the wine we had, both red and white, was great too. Doesn't jump out at you as they don't really push themselves but we'll be back again soon no doubt! Highly recommended!
• lizbW5356TA (10/5): Food in Restaurant - Good - Went for a quick meal out as we are staying in Centara Karon. This is the best value meal we have had while we have been staying there. $40 for mains and starters. Good size portions and the hospitality of the staff are great. Will definately go back there.
• 983grahamf (6/5): Average Hotel - The shuttle bus from the hotel never turned up at the Airport to pick us up.the sheets i On the bed had stains on them and the air con did not work correctly. The staff are friendly and the food is good.
• dariab694 (8/5): Best choice budgethotel in karon!!! - 3 minutes walk to the beach, very satisfied with the room (deluxe)! Very good bed, excellent aircon, the toilet and shower were a little old but very very clean!!! We had a beautiful view from our balcony on the mountains. The hotel overall is extremely clean!! The staff is also very helpfull!! We will come back to this hotel as it is perfectly situated and has everything we needed! We stayed here for 2 weeks.
• Fred_TK (6/5): Good location - It's located in the centre of Karon. There're many bars and restaurants around the hotel. The air-condition and Wifi didn't work very well. Due to what the staff said to me about the noise from outside, I didn't expect that it'd kept me awake until the bar in front of the hotel closed.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Gutes Hotel, zentrale aber mäßige Lage - Zum Start unserer Thailandrundreise haben wir zwei Nächte im Hotel de Karon verbracht. Hotel und Zimmer sind sauber und nett eingerichtet. Das Personal nett und hilfsbereit. Frühstück war mäßig. Nachts ist es rund um dem Hotel allerdings ziemlich laut. Die Gesänge aus der Karaoke-Bar hat man auch im Zimmer noch ziemlich laut gehört. Erst gegen 23Uhr wurde es dann wieder etwas ruhiger. Im großen und Ganzen hat uns das Hotel gut gefallen, die Umgebung war es die uns nicht so gut gefiel. Karon Beach ist sehr touristisch und auch ziemlich überlaufen.

Just a step outside the gate....but with the service and food we've experienced we will definitely be back here.
• iivlynn (8/5): 5 stars Enough - Recently stayed at Hotel de Karon and its no all 5 stars but service was better than most 5 stars hotel i stayed in. The staff were helpful & friendly and tried their best to help you in whateva it is you need example not saying no and instead trying out a solution for you.. i am impressed. Sure they cant be compared to any top hotels in Karon but with such proffesional staff i dont mind saying to me they r one of e best...i would return for sure! Value for money too!!!
• anvillageh (8/5): Reasonable price food for the areas - The out door indoor restaurant has reasonably price food for the area . The potions are large and quality is good. A glass of large wine is 100 baht were other places charge 135 baht for a smaller one. The restaurant is clean and inviting. Some dishes are over priced like the fish and chips but this seems the norm when in Karon beach area during peak season.
• Carina (4/5): Medelklass Hotell - Ett hotell där frukosten var undermålig, man fick in en liten tallrik, med 2 ägg 3 skivor bacon, 2 korvar, 1 skinkbit, 2 tunna skivor tomater och 2 rostbröd. Det fanns varmvatten till knappt en person att duscha i. Rummen var hyfsade eftersom vi hade rum mot berget. När det blåste slog plåten på taket hela riden, vilket gjorde det svårt att sova. AC som blåste rakt mot sängen, fungerade inte fullt ut på natten, vilket gjorde rummet väldigt varmt. När det gäller duschen så fick man vänta en stund innan nästa person kunde gå in för vattnet tog slut emellan åt också. Lika illa,med toaletten, efter en hade spolat fick man vänta en bra stund innan man kunde spola igen.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Hotel im Umbau ( Renovation) - Hotel wird renoviert inkl.Küche ( kein Frühstück) bis im laufe Oktober !! Kann nicht normal bewertet werden !!
• Marianne (4/5): Ungdoms/backpacker vänligt hotell - Ligger centralt belägen, inträngd i slutet av en bargata man störs dock inte särskilt mycket av ljuden utanför. Receptionisten kan engelska, men de andra anställda kan knappt ett jota.. Frukosten serverades oftast kall (ägg, bacon och korv) om man inte kom under "ruschen" runt 10 tiden.
