Guest Reviews
- Marissa (6/5): Pleasant - The staff were on time in reception expecting me. They are usually only at reception by request. The staff also helped me book a private airport taxi, and provide contact information so I felt the booking was safe and secure. I was grateful for their help. The rooms are private with bathroom (shower, toilet, sink), fridge, bed, additional sink, clothing hanging area, and queen bed. The shower had warm water. There is a pool which I didn't use, but it looked clean. Very excellent value for price - they are priced similarly to public/shared hostel accommodations nearby or closer to Ao Nang beach. The streets nearby are busy, loud, and do not feel safe for walking. It is not really in the heart of Ao Nang for tourism / walking / shopping / beach. I was using it as a launch point for the Krabi airport, which I felt it served my purpose well. The sink has a bad smell coming from the drain. My bathroom had cockroaches. I would not recommend for travellers intending to enjoy the beach experience. It was a 35 minute walk from Ao Nang beach. For those on a budget, could be a reasonable place to stay and plan to take cars or motorbikes as transport to tourist areas.
- Garry (3/5): Poor -
- Uae (5/5): Passable -
- Manish (8/5): Very good - Outside room view Most of the time, no one is present in reception
- Raychel (8/5): Very good - Out of the way of all the hustle and bustle but also only a 15minute walk into the restraint area and about a 40minute walk into the busy strip x
- Poliner (6/5): Pleasant -
- Karen (5/5): Find something else for the same price! - The blackout material on the windows was great though!
The front of house gal was lovely and responsive about everything when I asked her.
Sweet little pool. So many things were broken in my room!
I had the last room which had a bunch of garbage piled up close to where I wanted to sit for morning coffee. ;(
The water in the "kitchen" was not working, the slope in the "shower" was away from the drain, the "bum gun" was way too strong ;( The water ran dry for 12 hours so the toilet didn't flush and we couldn't have tea/coffee in our room.
A lot of feral cats fighting!
For the price I would have looked for something else.
- Matthew (3/5): Not the worst but still fairly underwhelming - Location was more or less perfect Rude staff for the most part other than the cleaning lady she was lovely and friendly the rooms aren’t that great although nice bathroom and it’s a good size but the bed was horrible it was a slab of concrete the mattress was uncomfortable the hotel itself is a run down motel with a nice pool slapped towards the back that isn’t that clean looks like a closed down shop from the front the best bit of the hotel was the moped rental at a good price but you’ve got to be careful with the rental as we felt we had been stitched up somewhat when we gave it back, we stayed a week id suggest that it’s a place for 2-3 days there’s a very noisy building site right next door it’s not the most relaxing
- Ewelina (2/5): very poor - not to far from the beach but you still need to take taxi for 60 Bathor 100 The communication was very poor- There was no stuff to talk with issues. I have asked before my booking if the place is quiet- was super loud from the road and next door was heavy work construction.
- Yves (1/5): Bad -
- Anders (5/5): Passable - Construction site next door starting very early and very noisy.
Don’t go until these are done
- Ella (3/5): Poor - The bed was big and cosy and the shower was good with hot water all the time The room was very small and full of mosquitoes, the shower was leaking and it was very noisy all the time.
- Rodda (5/5): Passable - The building works started at 8.30am and was defening
the safe wouldn’t lock
- Kerry (6/5): Comfortable nice pool - Out the way off the noisy street. Quiet Nice but basic
- Howard (6/5): Was a bed and shower. Good enough for 1-2 days - Very dated
- Malcolm (8/5): Very good -
- John (3/5): Poor - THe 3 MOnkeys is not a resort...it is a motel with a small pool. It was quiet, not really clean, the bed was not comfortable, the wife, got bug bites from the bed. THe place was quiet, and not hard to get to by tuc tuc.
- Di (10/5): Exceptional - Swimming pool Mosquito to much
- Budden (7/5): Good -
- Simon (9/5): Superb - The hotel was near perfect for our short stay. The location is good with plenty of amenities in the immediate area, and roughly a 20 minute walk down to Ao Nang Beach, but quiet enough to get a good sleep. The rooms were basic but had everything we needed and very comfortable and the pool right outside the door was exactly what we needed! The staff were excellent, quickly sorting the couple of issues we had with the rooms, and even came to my rescue when I lost my room key, remaining friendly and polite at 3am when many others would have been less than happy. Would happily stay again or recommend to friends. Nothing
- Emorn (8/5): Very good -
- Clifford (8/5): Very good - It was a good hotel for the price. It was a bit away from the seafront.
- Michael (6/5): Pleasant - The price The staff
- Thomas (7/5): Good -
- Kenneth (9/5): Thoroughly enjoyed it. - Room was clean and well equipped. Staff very good. Location too far from centre. Tuk tuk available.
- Adam (8/5): Very good -
- Dhawal (7/5): Decent stay but could have been better. - Located at just the right distance from the beach Too much noise from the on going traffic on the road even at night.
- Fred (6/5): Ok - The location is convenient, with plenty of restaurants nearby. It's about a 10-minute drive to the city center, and walking is also an option.
The hotel has a pool, which is a great feature.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable.
The staff was very friendly and responsive. We had an issue with our room, and they quickly arranged another one for us. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was disappointing:
The floors seemed like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time.
While the bedsheets were clean, the sink emitted a strong unpleasant odor.
The air conditioner had mold, which was an issue in both rooms we stayed in.
Conclusion:
It’s a good hotel with fair value for money, a convenient location, and excellent staff. However, more attention to cleanliness is essential to improve the overall experience. I recommend the management address these issues with a deep.
- Stuart (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bailey (8/5): Very good - Clean room, comfy bed, large bathroom and a friendly helpful owner. Definitely get your moneys worth
- Fabio (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ngarmpring (8/5): Very good - I'm surprised the room doesn't have TV
- Tania (5/5): Passable - Nice staff, shops and restaurants are very close, they have a kettle for coffee, air-conditioning works well A bit far from the beach but there are taxis around if you don't want to walk 30-45min, the bad smell in the room and the bathroom is not well cleaned
- Muzahidul (5/5): Budget stay for solo travelers and couple - Staffs are super supportive and try to arrange everything they can. Location is too far from beach and room size is too small for family. It would be better option for solo travelers or couple only.
- Francisco (10/5): Great budget option - Nice family run place, lovely people.
Very good AC.
Clean.
Quite affordable.
Very close to a 7-Eleven and theres a really good launderette/laundromat just across the street. Not very close to the coast. A scooter is recommended. There is a really good rental place just around the corner.
The sink pipe leaked water, that made its way down the shower drain. This can be very easily fixed.
- Marie (7/5): Decent and affordable little place to stay temporarily. - Good location, walking distance to Makro, Lotus and 7-11.
Restaurants close by also made this a handy place to stay.
Had a good sized refrigerator, and decent kitchen sink. A chair in the room would be nicer to do any desk work.
Bed a a bit stiff/hard, but ok.
- Syahmi (10/5): Exceptional - worth the money the staff was very friendly to us, helped us change dates and check in was smooth
- Pannipa (8/5): Very good - Staff and owner very lovely. 😍
My daughter very liked the pool.
- Aaron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sasha (8/5): Very good -
- Brittny (10/5): Short but very helpful and friendly staff - My partner got very ill and we showed up to this resort. We requested an early check in and the lady working let us into the room right away. She then called a taxi for us to the hospital and when we were admitted into hospital she called a taxi so our things could be taken to the hospital for us. She did not charge us for a late check out.
- Peter (6/5): It was quiet and pleasant - Nice room and pool Cleaner
- Watson (8/5): Very good -
- Erind (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kenneth (10/5): Pleasant - Good Price nice staff - location quiet but walking ok to the centre Nothing to complain about
- Emma (10/5): Cheap and cheerful stay. - Comfy, affordable, clean and lovely pool
- Star (4/5): not the most popular pace to stay - Decent size room
amenities around It is hard to find, considers one’s the address when shown, more detail for
landmarks near needed, better sign outside.
The room is quite dark, we had a leaking tap in the kitchenette, no mesh on hole in bathroom roof letting mosquitos in. shower wasn’t very clean. Air con was weak
the pool was dirty
- Sam (5/5): It served its purpose at a very busy time of the season. - You get a fridge and a kettle, the bed was fairly comfortable. Handy location for the Makro shop. The main light bulb in my room wasn't working, and the drains seemed blocked. Rubbish is not emptied. If you run the bathroom tap or shower, you have to wait several hours for them to drain. Also, the property was marked as 'temporarily closed' on Google maps, which caused me some alarm after booking but before arriving.
- Alona (1/5): It's possible to a find good hotel closer to the sea at the same price - Makro supermarket and night market with good local food, cheap fruits, vegetables and seafood qare nearby. Very dirty place. Far from the sea.
We were unpleasantly surprised with this accomodation. Dirty small room, dark room, unfresh linen and towels. We diceded to find another place and not to stay there even for one night. It's possible to find a good hotel closer to the sea at the same price or a little more expensive.
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional - Having the fridge and kettle meant we could save money buying Granola and Yogurt to have for breakfast and have coffee, aiir conditioning. We booked an extra 2 nights Pillow was hard
- Damo (10/5): Exceptional -

- Kamila (8/5): Very good -
- Rosie (6/5): Pleasant -
- Robert (1/5): Bad - Manager was nice. The room was dirty to start with. During my entire stay no one came to clean it even once. Not recommended.
- David (6/5): Pleasant -
- Olivier (7/5): Good -
- Andreas (7/5): Good - Good value for money Our room was not clean
- Alice (9/5): Superb - The owner was absolutely lovely and the room was very nice. It was very easy to rent a scooter from her. There wasn't a kettle, but that is all...
- Ирина (10/5): Exceptional - Very friendly and helpful personal
