• Douglas (8/5): - Very clean.. great staff and the breakfast was good The walls to our room seemed a bit too thin. We could hear the people talking in the next room very easily and they seemed to be talking normally. Unfortunately, it was late at night and then again very early in the morning.

• Tania (4/5): - We will not stay here again. We specifically chose this hotel because they advertised an indoor pool and hot tub. When we arrived, it was all under construction and not available. Based on that dishonesty, with no offer of a discount due to the the false advertising, this hotel is no longer an option for our trips to the area. In addition, the curtain was shorter than the window, so the parking lot lights shown in through the window. We had to stuff pillows around the base of the window to make it dark for sleeping.

• Dawn (5/5): Spacious and friendly staff - I liked the location, the staff, and the breakfast. There was supposed to be a pool but it was closed for the entirety of our trip. We were not expecting that and no discount was offered. The owner was there and we asked about it. He only said that it would reopen in 3 days. The rooms were spacious! I was surprised at how large they were. I needed the extra space for a huge project we were working on. The staff were helpful every single time we interacted. We spoke to the gal serving breakfast the most and she was an excellent representative for the hotel. The location was right off the freeway and there is a new hotel being built next door. Of course, if you are a light sleeper the freeway noise might be too much. But it was fine for us.

• 874mckenzies (10/5): Great, clean, safe hotel - Amazing hotel! We had a campus visit at a local school and this will be our go to hotel from now on in the area. Clean, modern, safe area I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel without my husband. Easy access to major roads and the area looks to be growing. A new hotel was being built next door. We used the workout room, pool/hot tub and the breakfast. The breakfast had a lot of options and was fresh and restocked while we were there. The rooms were in great condition. My only draw back was maybe the bed was a little harder than I would have liked but that's personal preference. We don't stay in hotels much anymore due to bad experiences in the past but this hotel met all the needs. We won't hesitate to stay here in the future.

• Jay (7/5): The staff was amazing. The actual hotel was mediocre. - The best part of the hotel was the customer service. Amazing people working there which made the underwhelming things easier to deal with. The shower made a terrible noise that probably woke up the entire floor. There was construction going on which closed down parts of the hotel. The hot tub also wasn’t working. The elevator was the slowest elevator I’ve ever been on.

• Chloe (7/5): Nice hotel. Just had a bad experience. - The property was very nice, the pool and hot tub we loved. It was warmer and not super cold which the kids loved! We got overcharged, almost like 2 rooms we stayed one night, and only had one room. Hopefully I get my money back. We were called at 9 at night, for confusion on who we were which scared us, it was the middle of the night. The shower squealed like a pig as well, something must’ve been wrong with plumbing.

Upon inspection of our vehicle the next morning, the manager noted that it was just beyond where he had treated the sidewalk. He offered and did extend the treatment to our car, which was beyond any expectation we had. It was a great help to us. And not any less, the breakfast was outstanding! Thank you, staff!

Checking in was incredibly quick and easy. The room and pool were not as clean as I was hoping. The floor in our room were almost damp feeling the entire time, the bathroom floor and bathtub/shower were dirty. And the floor in the pool was so slimy and slippery, people kept falling.

(A bed bug experience at another hotel, I always stripped the bed to check for bugs, and they did not have a bedbug bag on the mattress) The room was comfortable and clean, maybe a bit shabby in terms of needing touchup paint, etc. I Would stay here again when traveling on I 80

• Q5771XUalexn (2/5): Formal Complaint Against Front Desk Staff Member - Dear IHG Board of Directors, I am writing to lodge a formal complaint about a front desk employee, Bill, who uses a walker and recently displayed unprofessional and insensitive behavior. During my stay, when the vending machine was out of order, I approached Bill for a bottle of water to take with my heart medication. Despite the weather being below freezing and my lack of appropriate attire, he refused me service, stating bottled water was exclusively for diamond members and suggested I visit a gas station across the street. The water in the hotel is not drinkable due to York being a superfund site. After offering Bill $10 for the bottle of water to avoid needing to venture into the cold, he snarkily replied "water is not available," despite several bottles clearly being visible behind him. His response was not only unhelpful but also dismissive and rude, a concern given the potential health risk in light of my medical condition that his suggestion posed. This incident falls well below the expected standard of customer care at IHG. Thank you for addressing this matter. Alex

• Verified traveler (4/5): Room was halfway cleaned. - We arrived at 9pm with our family. The room had not been cleaned completely. Dirty bedding, unmade bed, wet dirty towels, the trash cans were full. I ended up getting the clean bedding and making the bed myself. They did knock off $50 from the bill, but I feel it should of been more.

My only complaints: the bed was too firm, and the cost seemed the highest we’ve paid for a Holiday Inn Express. It was a very cold, snowy night so we decided to pay the price and stay.

Information about the annuities and their time schedule was given in a slip of paper with the keys. It was very easy to enjoy with ease.
