- Alastair (9/5): Great location with a staff dedicated to good customer service. - We were treated very well, like real guests, not just like some strangers who showed up to rent a room.For example, the air conditioning was not operating properly in our room and- without arguments or excuses, we were moved to another room with the staff tranfering our luggage. Then we received a written apology for the inconvenience! Excellent service. There was nothing to be improved on from our perspective.

I had been put up in another hotel for my first night by work which was awful and i had to ask them to move me. From the minute i walked into the lobby I knew it would be a better experience. The staff were super attentive. The hotel is in a great location beside central park and the decor is modern and relaxing. I was on a business trip and i sat in the lobby for a couple of hours to clear emails which i could not have done in the other hotel. My room was comfortable and had a lovely window seat with views over town. I will definitely book this hotel for future trips.

My daughter was hungry and sitting in the lobby and asked Miya if she had any snacks. Miya went to the kitchen and brought out a fresh croissant for my daughter to eat while we were in between activities. It was so sweet of Miya to go above and beyond. Completely unexpected. I love that my daughter felt comfortable going to Miya because she was so warm and friendly. Wonderful service and experience! Keep up the great work! This is our 3rd year in a row visiting 1 Hotel Central Park for a girls mother daughter family getaway!

We stayed at a "fancier" hotel after we left for 2 nights and actually preferred the 1 hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Definitely will stay here next time we come back!

- chatto (10/5): Luxury Minus the Pretension and with a Caring Staff - The front desk staff, including Junior, demonstrated an incredible empathy and the ability to create magic during my stay. Because of some unanticipated events, I needed to leave a night early, and imagine my surprise and joy when I saw that they did not charge me for the second night. Of course, it's a slow time of year, and I would never expect such an action to happen all the time, but it simply backs up the fact that the staff at this hotel really do go the extra mile, whenever possible. The room was beautifully styled, and the shower was so lovely that if I ever have one put in a future home, I would show the architect a picture of the bathroom. The bed was soooooo comfortable. I went out only very briefly this morning, and the housekeeping staff refreshed my room during my absence. I cannot recommend this hotel enough for its staff, rooms, and location. So many boutique hotels in NYC under deliver, but 1 Hotel Central Park shows how to do the bespoke hotel right. One last point: I'm a Midwesterner and very down to earth. I want to emphasize that everyone I encountered in this hotel was very relaxed, chill, and friendly -- that goes for the patrons, as well. So if you are looking for luxury minus the pretension, this is a great choice.

It’s very low key, chic. Delicious breakfasts at Jams, as well. It’s a cozy spot to land in the midst of a crazy blizzard/snowstorm, and just a block off the Park for a beautiful walk in the snow. Miya was super kind and amazingly helpful during my stay. At the hotel for 7 nights…will definitely return!

- SeanA121992 (10/5): Amazing Birthday Staycation, A Sanctuary Amongst The Hustle - Sometimes you need a staycation to experience the best of the city, and 1 Hotel Central Park was the perfect option for me! From the moment you enter through the doors, you can't help but to calm down because of how amazing it smells. The front desk team was warm, welcoming and great to talk to, even with the hotel being so full and crazy from Valentine's Day weekend. I got to kill some time after a run in Central Park until my room was ready, and decided on brunch at Jams. Jackie was incredibly kind, and the team was attentive, food was delicious and the atmosphere was so nice! Once my room was ready, my bags were already there upon arrival - a nice little gesture that sometimes goes unnoticed and I really appreciated the bellman doing that. The room was absolutely beautiful, clean and well-kept - I need the soap amenities in my house haha! I loved the birthday amenity from Danae in Events/F&B and appreciated her answering all my questions prior to my stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and you couldn't hear any outside city noise - literally a sanctuary just steps from the hustle and bustle, and the winding paths of Central Park. I also appreciated all the sustainability efforts - a little hourglass in the shower to time yourself in conversing water, the notes on the hangers about how much water is used to wash clothes, and even the wellness angle with a yoga mat and roller in the closet! While it was just a one night stay, it made for an amazing memory and I only wish I stayed longer. Thank you 1 Hotel Central Park team, can't wait for my next city staycation!

It was 5 degrees, but we made the most of our 3 night stay. The hotel was warm and welcoming. They also left a few yummy sweet treats in our room and a sweet birthday note for my daughter upon arrival. That made are stay extra special. The hotel was beautiful and a safe location, 1 block from Central Park. The staff was helpful and always in a good mood. We walked to the MoMa and Times Square. Also, easy to take an Uber/ Lyft - less than 5 min wait for any car service. We ate breakfast at Jams. One time in the rest. then the other two for room service. The food was perfect to start our morning. We also loved the app. to check in on my phone (we did pick up a key a the front desK) and the personal touch with the survey. This is the first time staying at a 1 Hotel and we would love to stay again.

- Bruna (1/5): Incidente de segurança, medo, risco de morte ou lesão permanente. - No nosso primeiro dia no hotel estávamos no saguão esperando um táxi e caiu um pedaço enorme de madeira do teto do hotel bem no local que estávamos sentados com nossos filhos, bateu na ponta do pé de um dos meus filhos e entrou resíduo nos olhos dele, o outro filho tinha acabado de sair bem do local, por pouco não caiu em cima da cabeça dele, o que poderia ter matado ou gerado uma séria lesão permanente. Um sério acidente de segurança e uma grave falha de estrutura do hotel, indicando uma falta de manutenção de uma área comum onde passam várias pessoas por dia. Depois o hotel fez manutenção em uma parte do teto, mas reparamos várias partes em péssimo estado, inclusive pedaços de madeira com sinais de umidade e mofo e outros desalinhados, demonstrando que não estavam bem incachados. Só não trocamos de hotel, pq era na semana do Natal. Pagamos mais de 1.000,00 dólares pela diária e ficamos morrendo de medo de passar no saguão e cair mais uma madeira na cabeça, além disso os quartos também tem teto de madeira, não conseguia me sentir segura em nenhum momento.

During a cold snap in December, 1HCP was a cozy refuge from the harsh elements outside. The staff was friendly and competent, the room was clean, spacious and inviting, and the entire property is well thought out - with reverence to the environment being the goal. The restaurant food is superb with lots of options for both healthy eating and foodie delicacies. A special shout out to associate Joshua (Reception), a ten year employee, who was so very welcoming upon my arrival. I'll be back!

Everyone I spoke to was super helpful and pleasant to be around. While sitting in the lobby, we spoke to Miya who was super friendly and gave us great recommendations on where to go in the city.
- 915sofiep (10/5): Beautiful Bar - Wow, the service I experienced was amazing. I went with my partner to the bar and had an amazing espresso martini. Jackie at the hostess stand was so helpful. We sat with our drinks in the lobby. The lobby was gorgeous and had a great atmosphere. We spoke to Miya while seated and she was delightful and gave us great recommendations on what to do while we were in the City. I don’t normally leave reviews on here, but had to after the amazing service I had.

The location was really convenient, close to Central Park, Columbus Circle, and right by the train! This made sight seeing a breeze. The room itself was comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful as well, especially Miya! She answered all of our questions, always had a smile, and gave us some good recs. We would definitely stay here again

We were able to go see family in other boroughs easily, had good food around us, and had all the sights to see close by. We even extended an extra night to see snow. What I was particularly impressed with, however, was your customer service manager, Miya, who I found to be exceptional. I have stayed at hotels in about 40 countries and have never met a hotel representative more welcoming, attentive, and responsive. Thank you, Miya. My only complaint about the hotel was the small size of the lobby. One of the reasons I've stayed at other 1 Hotels, including in Miami, Brooklyn, London, and Copenhagen, is the generous common spaces in which guests can relax or work.

Visited for drinks, it was busy, the staff were excellent, engaging and friendly. Funky and chilled, relaxing environment. I’d definitely look to stay here.

In house staff were all helpful and went the extra mile to help. Especially Maya, who was amazing with my daughter and also super helpful with ideas for entertainment.

- mdcaps (10/5): 10/10 stay! - Perfect location with walkability to Central Park, shopping, so many amazing restaurants, etc. Communication was wonderful prior to our arrival and they had the room set up as requested for our young daughter. Jams (the restaurant downstairs) is delightful with a great range of culinary options, including room service, which we did for breakfast most mornings. (Love that you can order on the app!) All of the staff were kind and welcoming. The room was fantastic: modern and cool, but also cozy and elevated. Love the ethos of the brand and the intentional sustainability. This was our first stay, but not our last! Thank you!!

Miya greeted us after our brunch and offered to take our picture when she spotted us trying to take an “ussie,” and she kindly offered us coffee while we waited. She really made us feel welcome. We loved the hotel's strong eco-friendly design, unbeatable location near Central Park, excellent service from the staff, and the vibe of the in-house restaurant, Jams. One family member has certain allergies, and working with Danae Sangiorgio, Food and Beverage Manager, made our Thanksgiving visit perfect.

Everyone who works here is so friendly and attentive, especially the gentlemen handling the valet and the front desk, and Maya! My two girls said they can’t wait to come back and stay here again. - sherryfF5899HN (10/5): 1 Hotel Central Park is a fabulous place to stay for a vist in NYC - 1 Hotel Central Park was a great place to stay in NYC. The hotel staff was wonderful and one in particular went above and beyond during our stay. Danae Sangiorgio not only helped us with our arrangements she also sent a birthday gift to the room for our 8 year old granddaughter on her birthday. We will be back, its a great place to stay and so close to many of the attractions, restaurants, and museums.

- A9904UXcolleenc (10/5): Great stay ! - Thank you so much and thank you for a fantastic stay - I was there for work but it really is a special place the staff are fantastic from reception to the bar and restaurant and the food was great and rooms super and clean - there was such a lovely atmosphere with a constant buzz in the bar that I like to come back casually with out work and the location of course is super - thanks again to all possibly one of the best hotel experiences and super New York experience - all About the people they have hired well impressive
