• Verified traveler (6/5): Very disappointing - This was supposed to be the best hotel of our stay in Peru an it turned out to be the opposite. The shower had mold. The room was not cleaned on the second day, apparently you have to explicitly request cleaning, which was not the case even in cheaper hotels. One night after a long day I used the hot tub, which was nice but the experience was completely ruined because there was no hot water to shower after, so I had to take a cold shower after the jacuzzi. Not pleasant. Also they send you a text message for your breakfast choices which is completely inane because breakfast is made o order when you sit anyway, it's a waste to get a mediocre breakfast in the capital of amazing food so I skipped it despite being included in the price.

• Dan (10/5): - Staff and service is fantastic! However, the rooms are not soundproof, as advertised, and there seems to be a lot of people and construction noise around the property at all hours of the day and into the night.
• Donata (10/5): - Great location- close to many restaurants and Lacromar and the ocean. It had the essentials like a wardrobe, and desk. The room even had a patio which was a lot of extra space for the double room. It was very clean with hot showers and great wifi for remote work! The staff were very nice and accommodating- providing a breakfast every morning!
• Lucas (4/5): Funcionarios otimos, politica horrivel. - 1.vc tem que pedir o controle do ar ( fica escondido na recepcao ) e o ar nao funciona. 2.cafe da manha controlado em 4 itens. Reptiu paga mais 7 soles por item, pode ser ate a manteiga. TUDO SE COBRA. 3.antes mesmo de vc sair do quarto no checkout, um funcionario entra no quarto p confereir e contabiliza se vc nao roubou nada ( toalhas , lencois et ....) a uma tabela de valores para peças desaparecidas atras da porta . Creio que o hotle seja vitima de pessoas com o habito de roubar. SAO BEM PREOCUPADOS COM ISSO. 4. Os funcionarios são otimos , educados e prestativos. 5.shampoo de banho e papel higiênico é dado 1 somente. Acabou tem que pedir . 6 .Com o valor cobraso encontra-se coisa muito melhor em miraflores , alguns bem proximo a praia e shopping. Nao voltaria nunca neste hotel.

• Verified traveler (8/5): 2 noites em Lima - Ótimo hotel em boa localização! Quarto arrumado e limpo, um pouco pequeno mas bem conveniente! Da bem para um casal. Guardam as malas antes do check-in e após check-out. Tivemos apenas dois problemas: 1) o check-in só foi liberado com 1h de atraso, vinhamos de viagem de Cusco e tivemos que ficar lá esperando...2) o banheiro molhava demais após o banho, a água vazava para o chão. De qualqier forma boa experiência!

• Thais (10/5): - Great location. Very comfortable room. The decoration was beautifully crafted, it felt like an attraction on its own. Friendly staff. Only opportunity was the shower temperature which was a little unstable.

However, it has too many small inconveniences : the WiFi is inconsistent at best, hit water in shower fluctuated in temperature constantly. Pillows were all the same and very uncomfortable— like a pack of rags tied together. Without a doubt the cons outweigh the pros in this property.

Peeling ceiling paint in the bathroom, and so there were specks of it all around the floor in that area. Also saw similar peels in some hallway ceilings. Would not stay again without that being fixed.

Service was great from the moment we walked in, to the personalized welcome letter with information about the hotel. And the chocolates on the counter for us. The breakfast was delicious and the room was very comfortable. We were super impressed with everything. We would 10/10 recommend staying here, and would stay here again ourselves.

Los recepcionistas muy amables y atentos, te dan explicaciones de todo lo que puedes visitar. La habitación muy amplia al igual que el baño, de cortesia bombones y agua mineral. El desayuno te ofrecen tres tipos el light , criollo y normal, muy buenos todos. El único problema el ruido de la calle que se escucha mucho, deberian poner doble acristalamiento.

• BILJANA (2/5): AVOID THIS HOTEL AS IT IS FOR SMOKERS ONLY! - This time around LOTS OF SMOKING GUEST MAKING MY STAY UNPLEASANT AND IRRITATING! As the hotel allows smoking in the beautiful courtyard I couldn't enjoy sitting there or in my room in front as the smoke would drift towards my room. The whole room and the curtains would soon smell like an ashtray! Also only 2 visible smoke detectors on the ground level and none in the rooms! I think that is a health and safety hazard since the grass in the courtyard looked a bit dry and the fire from the cigarettes could easily spread! I was VERY DISAPPOINTED this time and would not recommend this hotel for any non-smoker!

• Lindsay (10/5): Pillowy bed, great WiFi, service and showers - We really enjoyed our night away at IFE. The hotel staff was helpful with directions and handing items over to a courier service for us. Breakfast was simple. The fresh fruit and juice were delicious and with the bread and the cooked item (I had eggs) it was quite filling. The bed was extremely comfortable, a/c and WiFi worked perfectly and the shower had as much heat and pressure as you wanted and was roomy. The only improvement that could be made is the plug in the jetted tub didn’t seal well, so it was not as relaxing as it could have been as it took some effort not to lose water. We would definitely stay here again! It is a nice little getaway.

Easy access on foot to Barranco or by the Metrobus a couple of minutes away that also goes to the historic centre. Would have preferred more vegan options for breakfast.

When having a shower the water would constantly alternate to scalding hot and cold. Breakfast was the worst of our 12 days in Peru. Our room looked like you were staying in somebody’s Grandmothers house. There is no restaurant or lounge. Overall this was the least enjoyable stay we had in Lima. We stayed at 9 hotels with all our tours.

• Edita (10/5): - We loved everything about the cute IFE boutique hotel: the quiet location in residential area of Miraflores, lovely décor of the cozy rooms and common areas, convenient bathroom with fantastic shower, all around cleanliness, fresh flowers everywhere, amazing staff, delicious plentiful breakfast – an excellent choice and value for our 3 nights stay in Lima! The location is perfect - walking distance to Larcomar, Kennedy Park and even Barranco district yet hidden from the business of main streets and safe for walking around. We did not have any problems getting to the hotel (as other people mentioned) as we pre-booked Taxidatum (20 USD fixed rate from airport to Miraflores and excellent and reliable service!) because we did not want to deal with looking for a taxi in the middle of the night. So our driver already knew the drop off location and brought us straight to the hotel without any issues. The staff, service and attention to details is what makes this hotel to stand out! We felt like home from the minute we walked in. On our last day we were leaving before 6 am and we received freshly made sandwiches-to-go to replace the missed breakfast – how thoughtful! Highly recommend!

• Alejandro (8/5): Great Location! - For the most part, we had a very pleasant stay. The location had to be the biggest bonus. Very close to Barranco and all the popular areas in Miraflores. 7 soles to get practically anywhere in both areas or you can walk as well! Very safe neighborhood. The room was very clean with new and modern upgrades, and the bed was very comfy. The only cons would be the surrounding construction during the day. Luckily we were out and about most of the day but I can see it being a big inconvenience if you wish to rest in the middle of the day. It is very loud. Also, the shower is either very hot or cold. It was a little tricky to find a medium. Not a deal breaker though.
• Marcus (10/5): Content - We had a pleasant experience with this hotel we had a flight canceled and booked this hotel last minute and was pleasently surprised the staff are very nice and we had a early flight so they got up at 3am and made us a toasted sandwiches and fresh coffee before our flight what more could you ask the hotel is clearly still in renovation mode but they gave us a beautiful room just finished with a hot tub, this is not a large hotel but it is walking distance from mirraflores main shopping and restaurants it suited our purpose.

The hotel staff was incredibly friendly, and helpful. The room was clean, and very nicely decorated. Would recommend if you are looking for a more unique and quaint hotel -- instead of the large impersonal hotels in the area.

• Betsy (10/5): Fantastic Boutique Hotel in Miraflores - I had a wonderful experience at the IFE Boutique Hotel. It is in a great location and easy to walk to restaurants and shopping. The staff was very helpful and helped arrange our taxi services and tours. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely stay here again. The room was really nice and clean, and the breakfast was delicious!
