Guest Reviews
- ELLEN (10/5): Bliss in Dublin! - I can't say enough good things about this place! The space itself is huge and hospitable, with a charming water feature at one end out the back windows (a big pool/fountain in the center of the building, beginning on our floor [American 5th?] ); the other end looks out over a lovely (and pretty quiet) park/playground, across from Google headquarters. We had 2 bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bath (fabulous tub in one; shower in the other) PLUS guest 1/2 bath, which was used a lot because we did some entertaining. Beds very comfortable. Plenty of storage space, and everything very modern and new, convenient to laptop lifestyle. Good, well-supplied working kitchen.
The management could not have been more pleasant and responsive. Paul always got back to me within an hour, with everything from the bigger teapot I'd requested to detailed, clear instructions on how our visitors could use the intercom.
We booked it at the last minute, at a good price from Hotels.com, and could not have been happier with the results.
It is true that finding the Office & the person with the keys can be confusing when you arrive, esp. if you're jetlagged. Basically, you go to their office, which is in the building you're staying in, but not necessarily near your entrance. You phone when you're actually there (even if they're expecting you), and someone comes out to escort you with keys. Hope this helps
- Julie (10/5): - I loved this place! I highly recommend!!! Modern apartment has everything you could want!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The apartment was a great value and I will recommend it to anyone and stay there again if I’m in Ireland again.
- Ellen (4/5): - Nice location and lovely interior design despite NO HOT WATER and very dirty sofa cushions; if there had been a vacuum, I'd have cleaned it myself before using it - instead we had to use a blanket to cover it.
Communication was very poor and no follow up even after the property knew we had a problem. We either had to spend our entire vacation trying to manage the problem ourselves, or just take ICE COLD SHOWERS ALL WEEK.
- Sonja (10/5): Great 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment! - Very comfortable, convenient, clean with modern amenities. Excellent service - meet & greet, 24/7 service which are resolved expeditiously. We had an issue with the hot water in one of the bathrooms and it was fixed immediately! Love the decor, the apartment is quiet and so close to the office. Will definitely stay there again!
- Matthew (10/5): Delightful find - Was in town for the weekend, amazing location and the check in, car park and little touches in the apartments was fantastic.
Would love to come back
- lewis (8/5): Apartment for business stays. - The apartment is amazing, it's big, modern, clean and has plenty of nice amenities. It is definitely setup for short-term rental for people on corporate business as it's one block from Facebook's office and situated in a very new and corporate part of Dublin. As such the price is on the higher end and it is a bit of a hike to the older and more charming part of Dublin.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The number of pubs and restaurants was extremely limited
- Barbara (10/5): Excellent location and apartment - The apartment was very clean, spacious an comfortable! Excellent location
- X Perkins (10/5): beautiful apartment in the Docks area - Beautifully furnished modern apartment with all the amenities we needed. About a 15 minute walk to the Temple Bars Grafton Street and Shopping district O'Connell Street. Cafes and supermarket close by, this quiet location is highly recommended
- Brian (10/5): Excellent choice in Dublin - Fantastic apartment in a nice area of Dublin. The apartment was fairly large and very modern. I highly recommend and would return in a heart beat.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Ideal for family - Excellent!
- David (10/5): Great location and great unit. - Great staff. Our original unit became unavailable and the staff was swift in finding alternative. We were so pleased with the alternative.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Fabulous accommodations and location! - Highly recommend the Base apartments. Beautiful, comfortable, and very friendly.
- Terry (10/5): Great alternative to a hotel room - Very room apartment style living. Great location.
- PATRICK (10/5): IRISH - WE WERE UNABLE TO CHECK ON TIME BECAUSE OF AN ELEVEN HOUR FLIGHT DELAY IN MUNICH STAFF WENT WELL ABOVE WHAT IS NORMALLY EXPECTED TO HELP US .KUDOS
- Kari (10/5): Great modern place - The apartment was very spacious! All modern conveniences! Very convenient to everything! Management very helpful!
- Deirdre (10/5): Clean and spacious - The apartment/condo was perfect! It was very spacious, clean, having two full bathrooms was ideal. Location was great, not to far from the city centre and having supermarkets close by was very convenient.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lots of space in a quite neighbourhood - The hotel was exactly as described, bright and spacious. There was housekeeping once in our ten day stay. A quick 25 min walk along the river to the Temple bar area.
- Barry (10/5): Nice flat - Stayed for one month; I was visiting Dublin as a tourist with my Dad. The flat was very nice, with plenty of room, ensuite bathrooms for both bedrooms plus a half-bath, a nice kitchen, laundry in the flat, &c. Building was very quiet. Cleaning is done once a week, and there were some basic food items provided to get started upon arrival. There is a small grocery nearby. It was pricey ($200+/night, off-peak season) compared to some other tourist apartments, but the location was good for someone interested in exploring Dublin without being right in the middle of a hectic part of town. The condition of the flat was excellent. One must consider that a good hotel in a good location is probably not much less, and that the state of repair and cleanliness in some tourist apartments is not as favourable. Service from the management was good. Not a choice for the budget traveller, but if you are spending >2 weeks and can afford it, this is a wonderful place to stay that gives you the feel you are "living" in the place. Great way to ward off the hotel blahs and the awful effects of eating every single meal in a restaurant. I would certainly stay there again, and felt the cost was worth it. Thank you.
