I enjoyed some of the wildlife that kept swimming up to the surface of the water and the actual patio was decorated to the tone of the sea salt air. - Dylan (10/5): - My boyfriend and I absolutely loved this place! It was just steps from the beach and super close to lots of great restaurants and fun activities like mini golf and jet skiing. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even better. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up extending our trip by an extra day. We would definitely come back again highly recommend!

- Christopher (10/5): - I recently stayed at Sand Vista and had a great stay! This place is small but has a great 1950's beachside motel charm to it. The woman who worked the front desk was welcoming and very informative. I booked this stay last minute through Expedia, was able to get a room with a great partial ocean view and checked in almost immediately. The grounds are great! This place isn't very big but they have everything you would need in a seaside motel. The beach chairs were a great amenity. They have several different chairs and umbrellas you can take over to the beach at no charge. Usually these chairs are pretty broken and rusted (when they are free), however the chairs at Sand Vista were in great shape! The location is unbeatable for the price. It's located right across the street from Reddington Beach public access. You can be from the parking lot to the sand in less than 3 minutes. There are plenty of restaurants in the area as well (some within walking distance). The room I stayed in was a tad dated, but I think that ties into the overall charm of this place. I would recommend getting the Upstairs Gulfside Studio. It's not a huge room, but you do get a partial ocean view! One side of this motel overlooks Gulf Blvd towards the ocean, and the other side overlooks the Inlet. Overall I really enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend it!

The pool, the marina and the staff is amazing. The rooms have everything you need and are spacious. Nice gentle music by the pool and fishing from the beautiful dock. We’re on our way home and we’re already planning our next chance to return. We miss it already. See you soon.

- Roland (8/5): - Enjoyed the stay was a cute cozy property and room. But the room wasn’t what was advertised. Room shown was larger and better laid out. Ours you couldn’t even lay in bed and watch tv. Over all it ended up being a nice stay especially when we could use the bbq to make a nice meal and enjoy it over looking the water. But the establishment is in need of a few more updates and repairs but since many are still recovering from the hurricane’s it’s understandable. Many local eateries in walking distance are still closed but we did find good ones to go to still. I would recommend this place if you like small and cozy.

- Laura (8/5): Great little motel close to beach - Great value. Older motel but all new kitchenette and beds. Well stocked kitchen with 2 burner cooktop, toaster and 12 cup coffee maker. Beach towels available at the small pool and chairs to take to the beach. This motel is on inland waterway with a dock, bbq's by the water.walking distance to many restaurants, bars and stores. Trolley stop on the street in front. Really cute place with attentive staff.

Spacious one bedroom with a separate living room upstairs. Clean and comfortable. The owner was a character. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Would definitely recommend staying here. Small, quaint, friendly.

- Keith (10/5): Amazing stay! - This was an “old-Florida” experience. There was a separate bedroom and living room/kitchen area (fridge, dishes, microwave, coffe pot). It is across the street from Redington Beach and sits on the waters of the river where we saw manatee. The bed is comfortable and the facilities are clean. There were also beach chairs and umbrellas to borrow for a day at the beach.

- Aleska (10/5): Great place to stay and enjoy the weekend - Had a great experience overall, customer service is great, rooms are well equipped and clean, parking is limited, but they do a great job making sire everyone has a parking spot, my only negative experience was having neighbors talking so loud and laughing until midnight right in front of my door as they have chairs and tables in front of the rooms, I was hoping to rest of my weekend gateway, other than that, it was a great time

- Johnnie (8/5): Stay away from The very Unpleasant Owner Shawn - I was verbally attacked by the owner (Shawn) of this hotel in front of my children at 10:30 because I told Hotel.com that I found a huge roach in the room and my child went crazy and she did not want to go into the room. He claims we live in Florida and that is not a roach, yet he was extremely aggressive. He banged on my door like he was the police.He was extremely pissed off cursing in front of my children because supposedly I posted this online, which I never did until now.This was the scariest and most humiliating traumatizing to me and my children. However, The property Manager is a lady Colleen the sweetest and Lourdes, she has no idea what had happened that night, she does live on the property but had no information until I said something to her. She was pleasant and hear my complaint but she only works there, The Man who traumatized my kids is the Owner. I do have pictures of the "palmetto bug" as he called it. Hotels.com did absolutely nothing about to try to remove us from there.
- Kelly (10/5): Perfect location - Everything was fabulous we spent 5 days at our favorite beach. The rooms are small but we were just sleeping and cooking breakfast so it was perfect for us. The beach is right across the street several beach chairs and umbrellas to use for guest definitely an added bonus. The place was very clean and had lots of cute decor around the property.

- Diamond (10/5): loved it! - This place was amazing and such a gem to find especially for a weekend getaway! they were accommodating due to the fact we weren’t able to make it until well after business hours. it was very very cleanly and i’m a clean freak, but had absolutely no issues. they provide beach towels and beach chairs if needed which was perfect because we actually forgot both of those things. right across the road is a path to the beach which was perfect. also came with a great morning view which is the picture provided. even gave us some nice little coupons which came in handy for when we ate out. everything is pretty much within walking distance which was nice. there’s limited parking which they warn you about but just an fyi. honestly 10/10 experience and would definitely stay again.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Cute but no cigar - Friendly staff, especially Diane and cute pool and seating area back on the water but the vast majority of the motel is on a busy, noisy road that kept us up at night. The pictures are a bit deceiving. While the decor is beachy, one person can barely fit in the bathroom and the kitchenette is very small. The noise and bathroom will keep us from coming back.

- brian (8/5): Beachy - Definitely clean and cute little place. We only stayed one night. The beds were soft but comfortable. Some people might find the shower stall a bit small and a little bottle of shampoo would have been nice. I did make an edit to Google maps because when navigating to this place It took me to a house a mile and a half down the street. Don't know if my edit fixed the problem so be aware.

- Amy (8/5): - This a small, quaint, older hotel. The grounds are beautiful, and I love that we could park right outside our door! Love that there were tables and chairs all around to have coffee and eat. The beach across the street was just perfect! No crowds and the sand is heavenly. Beach chairs are provided. The downfalls were there was no hot water for a day(we were allowed to shower in an adjoining room) the refrigerator was not cold enough to keep food from going bad, and there is some mold in the bathroom shower. The weather was cold so they had heated the pool- but when it warmed up- it was way too hot to enjoy, I’d stay again.

The room was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, the property was well maintained, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were unable to arrive during the check-in window and the staff made accommodations so we were able to access our room in the middle of the night. I absolutely recommend staying at the Sand Vista. We will definitely be back!

- Michael (8/5): Nice comfortable stay. - Nice comfortable stay with friendly staff and management. Across the road from beach. Location is good mid-way between St Pete's and Clearwater. Fair and reasonable rates we found.

- jean (10/5): - Easy access to the beach across the street, dock to fish (bring hooks and weights-bait store was closed the day we were there. Chars and umbrellas available. Staff was very friendly!
