The attention to detail was top notch. Great place for family and friends to meet up and gather to celebrate their loved ones - wonderful breakfast and seating (never felt crowded) even with sold out reservations, Kimberly and her team handled so many details -(even when we called so many times). Beds so comfy, room quiet, breakfast - so many choices, bar area and bartenders were so delightful. I would highly recommend this place for your family and friends. We had 23 rooms and we were able to meet up in so many places. Please please go right away to check this place out.

- Lyndsie (7/5): It was okay. - Friendly staff 8:30 am wake up call to LOUD music. It was the morning after our wedding and we were exhausted. Last thing we wanted was to hear music BLASTING at 8:30 am.

Noted multiple strands of hair in mini fridge and along shower curtain and wall. Secondly, my husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. We hooked a king room and was given double beds. I then asked why we were not given what we paid for, we were told they were sold out for the weekend. This is not acceptable, and they did not offer discount or any other accommodations for our inconvenience. The double beds were so small, we could not rest comfortably together. My husband and I slept apart the entire stay 😢

- Readypackgo (10/5): Do you need to just relax? - My husband and I had some business in Texas and were tired of driving. We stopped at the Sheraton McKinney. Great choice! I was under the impression that they had a bar and served appetizers. It’s very nice but looked like that could be the case. Things are not always as they appear. What a nice surprise! The restaurant is in the bar area and the bartender will most likely take your order but don’t let that fool you. Check about their special of the day. The daily board said pork tenderloin with apple chutney and broccolini. Wasn’t sure about the rest but like pork tenderloin so decided to go with it. Smart choice! First, they brought me pumpkin soup and I explained I didn’t order it ( nor would I, sounds odd). Tony said it came with the special. Oh my word! It was delicious, possibly the best soup I have ever had! They brought my dinner, shortly after. It was delicious and had other tasty things I wasn’t expecting ( some flavorful type of a potato cake). I couldn’t eat everything and shared with my husband ( he had the brisket tacos, very good) and then Tony showed up with pecan pie and whipped cream, again part of the special. It was a great meal ($28.00) after a long day and was just the icing on the cake of a beautiful hotel, beautiful room, and some very friendly people who understand the meaning of hospitality.

- Iriel (8/5): This is my new go to place in McKinney. - It was clean and quiet with a nice gym and good pool area. I did not eat at the restaurant/bar but it was very attractive looking. They were out of cleaning wipes in the gym both days and the coffee they charged me a lot for at the restaurant was the same coffee that was in the room. Same size and everything. I could have just gone to my room and saved the money.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable for me, and I woke up with back pain. It was new and well maintained, so I'm sure it'd be fine for the right person. But it didn't suit my sleeping style

- jakemO3721AG (10/5): - I would love to give Kasra at the front desk a public thank you for being such a great host. I spend roughly 150+ nights a year in a hotel traveling for work. The fact that he and his co-worker always greet me and remember my very basic requests goes so a long way for me. (I'd like to apologize to his co-worker as I can't remember her name right now; her card was not represented on the bell desk.) Anywho... Service at this hotel is top-notch. The bartenders are extremely friendly and respectful, the cleaning staff is on point, and the breakfast team makes great food. If you're here on business in the north Dallas area, this group of people will take care of you. Giving mutual respect to this staff has clearly been noticed, and I feel more welcome here than at any other Marriott in the country.

The Bad: Lounge coffee machine was out of service a few times. Lounge at times was unattended and lacked napkins. Some carpet ripping in the hallway, maybe they are due for replacement.

When we arrived to check in at 12:30, we were told by Michael that we could not check in early. He further stated that since we made our reservation through a 3d party (Expedia) that we could not get priority. We then found Jennie and she stated that the room had been ready, but found the room had been given to someone else. The only two people at the desk were Michael and Jennie. Michael then stated that he would call when the room was ready. We left and after not received a phone call, we called at 2:15 and the room was ready. Jennie was very nice, but Michael was a jerk!

After that employee said he would do his best to have it figured out. I checked with a second employee later in the day who said it was taken care of - when xhexk out morning comes and i have been charged by the hotel for the breakfast again. The same person that i verified with was working so i went to him and him and the other employee working couldnt figure out how to refund. He then, without saying anything, just started to help the person behind me. When he finished with them he came back to me and eventually figured it out. Very rude staff. The food/view/beds/rooms were great. Pool was very dirty. Overall rude interactions.
