- JIN WOOK (6/5): 스키장 외 미추천 - 체크인, 체크아웃 시간에 엘리베이터가 너무 밀려서 14층에서 걸어서 내려왔어요. 오래된 엘레베이터가 하중초과해도 매층 다서고, 엄청 느리고 너무 불편합니다. 숙소내부 침구류는 정말 옛날 방식인 잘반만 이불, 요 커버를 바뀨는 방식인데, 머리카락이 몇개나 나오고 자고 나서 좀 간지럽기도 하고 청결도가 별로에요. 스키장에서 가까운 이점은 있지만, 나머지는 정말 불편한 숙소에요. 굳이 추천하지는 않습니더.

- Verified traveler (2/5): 왠만하면 리모델링 한번 했으면… - 콘도 상태가 너무 관리가 안되어 있네요. 커튼은 다 떨어지고 레일도 파손되서 침실 창문이 다 가려지지도 않고, 침구에는 다른 사람 머리카락도 많이 붙어있구요. 벽지는 모기를 잡았던 흔적이 그대로 있었습니다. 시설이 오래되어서 이 정도 상태면 리모델링을 한번 하시는게 어떨까 싶습니다.

- yunhee (10/5): 아주 가까운 슬로프뷰는 느끼며 커피한잔 ㅎ - 시설은 오래된게 딱 보이지만 스키장 콘도 답게 아~주 따뜻하고(수면바지 못입음, 너무 더워서), 물도 잘 나오구.. 간단히 취사고 가능해서 좋았습니다. 가장 마음에 드는건 아주 가까운 슬로프뷰~ 대박입니다.

- glyn0220 (6/5): Nice view from the room - I loved the view of the ski field from my room! It’s fun to just stand on the balcony and watch the people skiing down the slopes. The layout of the resort is a bit confusing because it was huge. The number of lifts were rather limited, so it took a long time to queue for them when there was a crowd. There was a convenience store and some shops and eateries here too. This hotel and its ensuite bathroom is dated but the room is spacious and even has a kitchenette. There was no toiletries and bath towel provided though. The breakfast buffet was also good.
- Gina_jy_kim (2/5): Don't step on the snow! - Very odd experience. Are all Korean ski resorts like this or is this place particularly weird? While waiting for my kid to finish her lesson by the ski school area, I was told by patrols several times to "get off the snow, since you are not wearing ski gear". I said I was waiting to pick up my child at the instructions of your ski instructor and they said "patrol is a different division from the ski school" (so they don't care). I have never been told that it is wrong to step on snow at a ski resort. Is this normal? When I asked why I couldn't the patrol said he wasn't sure but was just following orders. He speculated that the "clean snow may become dirty". I was not blocking anyone's path, just standing at the ski school meeting place. Also, all lift passes must be purchased on the day (no multi-day passes) and the passes are for 2,4, 6 or 8 hours since the time of purchase. So if you want so ski a whole day and night, you must go to the ticket office twice to buy tickets at least for the night ski. Rentals are another problem - you can only rent up to 2 days max. If you are staying 4 days, you must return all of your gear and then re-rent by standing in line at the ticket office! No feel of a fun resort at all. While employees were friendly, they clearly had no idea what was going on (just following orders blindly). The lifts open at 8:30am and the ticket office (where you have to purchase rental tickets as well) open at 8:20am. The only explanation I could come up with is that they don't care about casual skiiers. They only cater to people who buy season passes and have their own gear. Which perhaps would make sense if the slopes were good - but no... very boring and less than average. Also, if you take lessons at the ski school there, "by policy" no matter if you take 1x1 lessons and are quite advanced, they will not take you up to the top on the gondola. Is it because the slopes are too advanced? Absolutely not. It's "just policy". Food in general at ski resorts is bad in Korea so I think they rank "average". Rooms were clean but dated, so average. Overall, of all the ski resorts in the world I've been to... it really was the worst experience.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - 가족들과 즐거운 시간을 보내고 왔습니다. 특히 초등학생인 아이들이 다양한 놀이시설을 타면서 아주 즐거워 했고 넓고 거실도 있는 스위트 룸에서 편히 지냈습니다. 시설은 다소 노후되었지만 과거에 현대에서 워낙 좋은 자재로 지은 곳이라 아직도 건재하였고 구옥의 느낌도 있어 나름 감성적이기도 했습니다. 또한 정직원의 직원들이 늘 친절히 대해주시고 적극적으로 불편한 것을 해결해주려고 하시는 등 아주 체계적이었습니다. 전망대도 좋았고 잔디밭이 넓어서 시컷 뛰어놀았습니다. 짚라인을 타는 곳의 직원분은 손님이 별로 없다고 한번더 태워주시는 센스를 발휘해주시는 등 어린이날에 아이들과 즐거운 시간을 보내고 왔습니다. 코로나가 안정되면 수영장도 가볼 예정입니다.

- Jong hun (8/5): 숙박하기 괜찮은 곳 - 얼마전 휘닉스파크 콘도를 갔다가 너무실망했는데, 웰리힐리는 괜찮았어요. 방도 깨끗하고, 무엇보다 공기가 참 맑고 좋아요. 다만 시골인데다, 요즘은 코로나로 인해 주변 먹거리가 많이 없어진듯해서 그게 좀 아쉬워요
- samuel (6/5): Check out too ages... - Overall experience was not bad. But the blankets had hair even before we used them. And it took us almost 30 minutes to check out!! Not check in, but to check out!! They need to station more staff to ensure that guest can actually leave efficiently, let alone check in.

- markrS9357LA (6/5): Christmas Family Trip 2018 - This past week, December 17-21, our family took a road trip out to Welli Hilli. After much research, the mountain and resort seemed family friendly. It was a straight drive on Highway 52 out of Seoul, past Jamsil, but it's a highway not on Google Maps, but on Kakao maps. Impressions of the mountain: In my experience skiing and snowboarding, Welli Hilli was more of an intermediate ski mountain. The slopes were nice and long, not necessarily steep, though there were some "expert" runs, and were perfect for teaching my daughter and son to ski, which they both learned well. If you're familiar with skiing in the Midwest in the U.S., then Welli Hilli is just like skiing in Michigan, Wisconsin, or Minnesota. There were many groups of college students and families at the resort skiing, though it was clearly not busy. The bunny hill is Alpha slope and was a good run for learning to ski. Most of the beginning groups were on Alpha, causing it to be very crowded at times. It's also the hill for anyone to go up to catch the Beta lift to the top of the mountain. The rentals and tickets were very expensive. They are over 60,000 won for four hours for an adult and over 50,000 won for children also for four hours. It seemed pricey to me. Rentals were cheaper, but you can still find cheaper and better on the drive up to the mountain. The hotel: The hotel looks fairly modern from outside and the lobby, but the rooms are older, Korean style rooms, as others have noted in previous reviews. Now, we didn't mind this at all because our room had two bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen facing the slope with a deck. This was very nice, so the older style room wasn't bad, in my opinion. We also had a room with no beds, but only the Korean-style, Japanese mattresses. This was nice because of the radiant floor heat which is very common in Korea. On the website, they advertise a pool area, and it does have a waterslide. The pool was very nice and the hot tub was mineral water and very hot, so it was nice to relax in after the day skiing. As for the waterslide, they turned it on just for us, and it was fun going down over and over. No lifeguard on duty, but there is a nurse's office right next to the pool. This wasn't expensive, but was worth the price. Remember: in Korea, you pay for use of the pool. It's not free like everywhere else. This one was good and the kids had fun. On the website, they advertise a bowling alley, karaoke, a kids club, arcade, bumper cars, and other things for younger kids. This was partly true. The things for the younger kids was closed and would've been perfect for my two year old, but the bumper cars, kids club, and other things for younger kids was closed. This was upsetting. Only at the end of the trip did the resort open a small area for infants and toddlers to sled and ski, but otherwise there was nothing for our youngest to do. The bowling and karaoke were fun, and our family had a really great time doing both. Overall, this was a good trip. It's potentially a really great mountain if the owners would put more money into modernization of the hotel and facilities. I would overall recommend it for a nice 1-2 day ski trip.
- kumyokek (8/5): Ski Resort - A great condo style resort with ski facility. Our room was facing the beautiful ski area. There were 3 rooms, one with a queen bed, the other 2 tatami style. Heater can be controlled. A small kitchenette with dining table and a living hall. Lots of eateries and activities.
- 212kelviny (8/5): Nice ski resort hotel!!! - My wife and i stayed in room 503, directly facing and full view of the whole ski site. There are super market, variety of foodie choices, a bowling alley, a KTV, a billiard/pool room, game arcades etc... The room is quite big with a queen and a single bed as well as another tatami room!
- Clear_Brook_Rae (6/5): A ski-enthusiasts resort - We spent our first time ski vacation here. The large resort enjoy direct access to the slopes and various gondolas and cable cars at Welli Hilli Park. We stayed for two nights, the room is western-style and heater in the room is adjustable. There are quite a few choices eating places and a supermarket to pick up grocery.
- 877arb (10/5): Large but quality - This is a large condo-style hotel. Rooms have small kitchen area and face either the ski/ golf hill or the front car parks and distant hills. Communal areas are clean, well kept and bright. A good selection of restautants and shops.

- andysA9059XM (8/5): Ski vacation - First time skiing in Korea and I picked this place which has several easy beginner slopes. We took a bus from Incheon airport directly to Wonju. We had some difficulty finding the Welli Hilli shuttle bus pick up point, and seemed to have missed the 6pm bus. So we took a taxi which cost us 50000 won (about HK$320) but at least we got there in about 35 minutes. The room we got was clean although the building seemed old. The ski slopes were very well maintained. We got a 10:30a - 5p ski pass which normally cost about 65000 won but discounted 25% as we were hotel guests. One of the ski lift route was had up close snow spraying which was irritating to my eyes, hope the management des something to prevent passenger discomfort. The food court was pretty much where most people ate plus a fried chicken and pizza joint. Don't eat the burgers there as the meat patties were not real meat. Only a few English speaking staff but they were very helpful and eager to help. We took the 4pm free shuttle bus to Wonju which took about 45 minutes. Then 1-1/2 hour bus ride from Wonju to Seoul which was quite convenient. I will return to this place in the future.

- chloey472 (6/5): Is time for renovation - the apartment for this resort is quite old already and I think it is the time for a fully renovation or upgrading of the rooms. nothing is provided except cooking utensils. very convenient as cafes restaurants convenient stores are all available. and what I experienced was they checked me into a room which haven't clean yet and the housekeeper ask me to wait. we keep luggage in the room and went for a walk and who knows the room is still not clean yet after 1 hours. if I can speak proper korean for sure will complain as there is no excuses for the hotel to check in me a dirty room and nothing is done after being asked to wait.
- Phoebskie (10/5): Good place to stay and have fun! - Stayed for one night, arrived in the hotel almost midnight but staff were very accommodating. This property is like a condo-type. Rooms have mini kitchen and were clean and spacious. You can enjoy the view of the Ski park. They also have a mini grocery store.The breakfast was good. After having a good breakfast went skiing. definitely enjoyed my stay!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Watch out for standard Korean rooms...call ahead - You really need to call ahead and ask for a room with a bed. If you have a 2 bedroom...they will most likely both be standard Korean with NO BEDS. You will have to ask for one with a bed and the other will have Korean mats. You will NOT get two rooms with beds. I must stress...CALL AHEAD or you will most likely end up with a room with NO BEDS. Other than that...great setting...lots of amenities...small resort compared to places in Colorado/Canada, but the gondola goes straight into the hotel--awesome!
