- Marie (8/5): Très bien dans son ensemble - L’emplacement est très bien, proche de la plage et de Rethymon et la Canée Personnel adorable Buffet très bon et cocktails bien effectués !! La vue mer n’est pas vraiment une vue mer à mon sens mais plutôt une vue partielle. L’humidité dans la chambre car pas de VMC donc impossible de faire sécher les maillots par exemple. Peu d’isolation sonore avec les chambres d’à côté…

- Aerts (8/5): Zeer verzorgd en gastvrij hotel aan de mooie baai. - Mooie locatie met rechtstreekse toegang tot het zandstrand van de mooie baai. Prima onderhouden hotel en mooie hotelomgeving met verzorgde tuin. Goed verzorgde buffetten en vriendelijk personeel. Prima (gratis) ligzetels op het strand. Voor een 5 sterrenhotel is de restaurantruimte te krap (zeker bij minder goed weer) waardoor het erg lawaaierig kan zijn in het restaurant... Geen mogelijkheid tot dineren a la carte.... Voor de strandwandelaars: hotel is redelijk ver afgelegen van het centrum van Georgioupolis.

- Yotam (5/5): Beautiful hotel, hollow hospitality — stunning on the outside, deeply disappointing when it mattered - The sea view room is genuinely beautiful — spacious, well-designed, and the views are stunning. The location on Kournas beach is hard to fault, and the bartenders and reception team were warm and helpful throughout. When our room had issues on arrival, the receptionist worked quickly to resolve them, which we appreciated. The room arrived with multiple issues: a non-functioning key card, a leaking air conditioner that flooded overnight and damaged our belongings, and a broken TV. The open shower design meant the floor was constantly flooded. Cleaning service was minimal — beds only, no water replenished. The spa was the worst part of our stay by far. It is almost impossible to find, the receptionist was absent on three separate visits during opening hours, and booking a massage took close to one hour due to constant technical failures. We paid €330 for a couples massage and the experience was deeply unprofessional: a poorly maintained, brightly lit room with no privacy, a superficial treatment, therapists laughing and chatting throughout, an unannounced intruder mid-session, and no proper conclusion to the treatment. Roughly 25 of the 75 minutes were lost to staff conversations. Immediately after, we were pressured to leave a review on broken iPads before we could even get a glass of water. The next day the spa receptionist approached us on the beach, unprompted, to demand a review again. When we raised all of this with the hotel manager Christos, he was dismissive, offered no apology, and told us the spa is an "external company" — before handing us an email address and walking away. No follow-up, no goodwill gesture, nothing. The smiles here are warm but hollow. When something genuinely goes wrong, there is nobody willing to take responsibility.

- Sandra (8/5): Sehr entspannter Urlaub, das Hotel ist zu empfehlen und wir würden definitiv wiederkommen. - Die Unterkunft ist wirklich wunderschön gestaltet, sehr modern und ansprechend und einfach eine Wohlfühl-Oase. Der Strand ist extrem sauber und die Hotel-eigenen Sonnenliegen machen den Strandtag sehr komfortabel. Das Wasser ist ebenfalls sehr sauber und klar und super geeignet für Kinder, da es lange flach bleibt. In jedem Zimmer gibt es Thermosflaschen, die an mehreren Orten in der Anlage aufgefüllt werden kann. So wird Plastik eingespart und man hat jederzeit Zugang zu Trinkwasser. Auch die ganze Hotelanlage ist sehr gepflegt, es wird sich definitiv gekümmert und das sieht man auch. Der Pool lädt ebenfalls zum gemütlichen verweilen ein und ist ebenso sehr sauber. Das Essen in beiden Restaurants ist sehr lecker. Morgens und Abends gibt es Buffet und das reichlich. Es ist für jeden was dabei und abends wird täglich etwas anderes angeboten. Neben den griechischen Klassikern gibt es aber auch Pizza o.ä. Für die Kids. Das Personal ist super freundlich und fast alle sprechen extrem gut Deutsch. Sie sind hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Das Abendprogramm ist okay, aber nicht überragend, trotzdem wird immer etwas geboten. Es gibt einen kleinen Fitnessraum und Aktivitäten, zu denen man sich einfach anschließen kann. Während unseres 1 wöchigen Aufenthalt waren an zwei Abenden Fotografen da, die einen fotografiert haben wenn man möchte. Die Fotos sind zwar kein Schnäppchen aber eine schöne Erinnerung. Die Lage des Hotels ist fantastisch. Es hat sowohl einen Supermarkt als auch die klassischen Souvenier Shops gegenüber. Eine Bushaltestelle ist auch direkt vor dem Hotel. Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer hätte für unsere Verhältnisse etwas besser sein können. Im ersten Zimmer hatten wir eine Haarkur der Gäste vor uns in der Dusche und im zweiten Zimmer lag eine bereits ausgepackte Tablette neben dem Bett. Es wird zwar jeden Tag das Bett gemacht und man bekommt Handtücher im Überfluss :) aber die Grundsauberkeit hätte besser sein können. Was wir schade fanden ist, dass die Poolbar bereits relativ früh schließt. Hier hätten wir bestimmt 1-2 Getränke mehr getrunken, wenn diese etwas länger offen gehabt hätte. Die Möglichkeit, Getränke und weitere zusätzliche Ausgaben auf das Zimmer schreiben zu lassen ist sehr praktisch, jedoch wird jedes Mal zusätzlich ein Beleg gebracht, der unterschrieben werden muss. Hier wäre vielleicht eine Überlegung, dies digital zu gestalten, das würde einiges an Papier sparen.

Worth it only if you pay cheap price - note they charge for water even if you payed the high price for a half board 🤯 Good service, very good wifi and annimation team Room is very basic for a 5*. - Allison (10/5): Marvelous resort with sumptuous accommodations and delightful food - We loved our gorgeous beautifully designed room. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was well designed with great water pressure. The food was excellent. We really appreciated that the coffee was freshly brewed and served at the table and not self service from a machine. Truly enjoyed the abundance of fresh fruit. And the amazing desserts. The food was never overly salted but instead wonderfully seasoned. The staff at the restaurant were outstanding. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the beautiful landscaping and plush cushions on all the loungers. Loved that the beach loungers were free! Everything and everyone was simply marvelous.

- Jochen (10/5): Tolles persönliches Hotel mit wenigen leichten Schwächen - Sehr persönliche Atmosphäre, kein extremer Massentourismus. Schöne Anlage, gute Lage am Strand. Auswahl Buffet und auch die tägliche Änderung ist super. Zimmergröße war schon perfekt, deutlich größer als erwartet. Ausstattung wie Liegen, Tischtennisplatte etc nicht mehr ganz akzeptabel. Das könnte sehr schnell behoben werden. Es fehlt das letzte für eine 10/10. Beispiel: All inklusive hat beim Frühstück keinen frischen O-Saft sondern instant, oder es gibt Apfelsaft. Softdrinks bei All inclusive ist nur aus dem Hahn...

Les chambres sont tres agréables avec de nombreux équipements. Nous y avns passé un excellent séjour. Un peu dommage de facturer les bouteilles d eau au souper malgré la demi pension. Douche fraiche avec peu d eau chaude a partir de 19h .

Весь час перебування персонал турбувався щоб нам усе сподобалось та щоб ми відчували себе комфортно. При поселені нам запропонували комплімент у вигляді шампанського та закусок. Ресторан та сама їжа на висоті, різноманітний вибір і усе дуже смачно. На вечерю чай та кава за свій рахунок.

- Solomia (10/5): Great experience and complete relaxation! - My first all-inclusive and it had checked all the boxes, it was even better than I could’ve imagined! The hotel is great: not too big, very cozy and calm, the beach - great with beautiful sea, that had crystal clear water all day long (also very warm in the middle of September). Tasty food, cozy beds, nice pool, etc. A big thank you to all the staff - amazing people who genuinely take care of all the guests! A lot of them work there for decades and it shows - they treat the hotel as their own home. Amazing! Thank you to Olga, Maria, Katarina, Dimitri, Elli (we saw her just before departure) and other‘s whose name I, unfortunately, don’t remember. And a special thanks to Lorenzo for our very special request for a Hugo Boss cocktail!:)) All the beach bar staff - you‘re great! - Anique (1/5): Never again in my life. - Het strand. This hotel was, unfortunately, the most disappointing “5-star” experience I have ever had. Sadly, many of the negative reviews you’ll find online turned out to be accurate. From the moment we arrived, a pervasive sewage smell was noticeable throughout the property in the lobby, hallways, dining areas, and especially inside the rooms. The issue was compounded by the presence of sewage flies, which we found not only in the room but also on the terrace, making it impossible to sit outside or even open the bathroom window. Hygiene standards were far below what one would reasonably expect from a hotel of this category. The air conditioning emitted a damp, musty odor, which made the rooms uncomfortable at best. The food offered was repetitive, of poor quality, and far from the standard associated with a luxury all-inclusive resort. To make matters worse, additional charges were applied for basics such as fresh orange juice or even a very simple iced coffee items that one would reasonably expect to be included. The so-called “gym” was another major disappointment: extremely small (no larger than a bathroom), poorly maintained, with outdated and even unsafe equipment. Access was limited to two people per hour, requiring reservations. Many guests booked their entire stay upon arrival, leaving little to no opportunity for others to use it at a convenient time. Overall, labeling this property as 5-star is highly misleading. While the price reflects a luxury standard, the quality of facilities, food, and overall hygiene falls far below. Despite raising our concerns with management several times, no meaningful improvements were made, and we ultimately chose to leave early. I would strongly advise anyone seeking a genuine 5-star experience to avoid this property.

- Louis Serge (9/5): Toll für Pärchen, die sich entspannen wollen. - Das Zimmer war ziemlich sauber, bis auf ein paar Haare im WC. Sehr geräumig und stilvoll eingerichtet. Das Essen war super und abwechslungsreich. Allinclusive war hervorragend und sehr fair bei der Auswahl der Getränke. Personal war sehr toll. Kompliment an Janis, Olga und Maria! Fliegengitter wären toll, da es sehr viele Mücken hat. Reinigung vor Zimmerbezug könnte etwas gründlicher sein für ein 5 Sterne Hotel.
- Ewanlen (9/5): Tolles Hotel mit super freundlichem Personal - -sehr gute Lage direkt am Strand -toller Pool an dem darauf geachtet wird dass keine Liegen schon morgens reserviert werden -sehr saubere Anlage -Supermarkt direkt gegenüber -unglaublich freundliches, deutschsprachiges Personal -alle Mitarbeiter sind super kinderfreundlich -wir haben sogar von dem Hotelmanager persönlich ein Upgrade für die letzten beiden Nächte bekommen -letztes Jahr gab es noch 2x die Woche ein BBQ in dem Strandrestaurant, leider wurde dieses abgeschafft und es gibt nur noch ein a la Card Menü unter der Woche

- Maciej (2/5): Fatalny - Nic Nic mi się nie podobało po jednym dnu z zaplanowanych 6 zmieniłem hotel, ponosząc dodatkowe koszty związane z rezerwacja innego hotel, a Hotel a ni Booking nie poczuwa się choćby do częściowego zwrotu kosztów. Hotel Eloris nazywa się hotelem 5* a Booking to powiela wprowadzając użytkowników w błąd. Hotel jest "upchany" rozmiar basenu jest bardziej adekwatny dla basenu przy domowemu niż hotelowego, nie wspominając o uzurpowaniu sobie standardu 5*. Dbałość o czystość przestrzeni wspólnej delikatnie mówiąc pozostawia wieli do życzenia np. brudne szyby przy basenie, nie posprzątana przestrzeń wokół basenu, odpychająca toaleta przy basenowa. Zdecydowanie za mało personelu obsługującego zarówno gości jak i porządek. Pokoje małe, w pokój przerażająco duża liczba owadów latających. Pokój z basen, bo w takim byłem przez 16 godzin pobytu w hotelu z zaplanowanych 6 dni, jest zaplanowany w taki sposób, że od krawędzi basenu do ogrodzenie pozostaje niewielka przestrzeń, w zadłuż tego ogrodzenie po jego drugiej stronie jest ścieżka publiczna. Ponieważ ogrodzenie jest z siatki nie ma mowy o jakiekolwiek intymności. Sposób aranżacji łózek na plaży jest tak zorganizowany, że między łózkami jest bardzo niewielka przestrzeń - przypomina to bezpłatną plaże miejską (niektóre mi znane znacząco lepsze o tej w hotelu) niż hotelu 5*. Pobyt i reakcja na moje zastrzeżenia były nieakceptowalne.

- antonio (7/5): Spero che la Grecia non sia solo questo... - la struttura è recente, la piscina per i bambini è ottima (50 cm), cibo buono, ottimo il personale dei ristoranti Mare orrendo (ho fatto 6 bagni in 15 gg perchè sempre mosso con bandiera rossa), spiaggia enorme ma troppo sabbia troppo scura, camera piena di zanzare e moschini, la struttura non ha delle rampe per i passeggini ne ascensori quindi bisogna sollevarli di peso, il personale in reception non all'altezza del personale dei ristoranti

- Maria Augusta (1/5): Hotel a não frequentar - Apenas da paisagem e da simpatia dos funcionários. O hotel não tem qualquer exigência de um hotel de 5 estrelas. As camas são péssimas, estreitas e não existe cabeceira, parecem camas de uma pensão de terceira categoria. As toalhas eram cinzentas de mal lavadas. Os lençóis não tapavam o colchão e as camas muito mal feitas. Um tudo incluído com muitas restrições, pagando-se, por ex. a Coca-Cola em garrafa e a água com gás em garrafa. Um barulho ensurdecedor durante todo o dia e parte da noite provocado pelas cigarras. Não é adequado para férias de praia porque o mar é muito agitado, bandeira vermelha, e há muitas pedrinhas na beira mar, magoando os pés quando se entra na água. Piscina pequena e única. A comida ao almoço era escassa, o mesmo acontecendo ao lanche. A fruta ficava "cozida", dado o tempo que ficava ao ar e não havia renovação. O hotel fica numa zona onde os transportes não são de fácil acesso para os turistas. Não havia comida alternativa para pessoas com alergias, embora fosse perguntado logo no check in. Dois dias arranjaram yogurte de amêndoa, depois não arranjaram mais porque não havia no supermercado, disseram.

Das Personal war der Hammer - noch nie so entspannte, freundliche und fröhliche Mitarbeiter erlebt, Rezeption, Servicekräfte … einfach alle. Ein Extralob an die Damen in den Restaurants und an die Drei vom Animationsteam: Ihr macht einen herausragenden Job! Jaimy, Olga, Dimi, Katerina, Maria… Chapeau! Und: Efcharisto :-)

- Lisa (9/5): Amazing holiday - We picked this property based off the aesthetic pictures we saw on the net and precious traveller reviews. We had high expectations before arriving and we were not disappointed. The hotel is beautiful, the friendly and attentive staff gave us the warmest welcome and were always on hand to help us with any need. We especially loved the beach front location and how easy it was to relax. Not a dislike, more how can you improve even more. We paid for fully all inclusive package so it would be nice if it were possible to have access to crisps, water and soft drinks throughout the day. All inclusive has included this is most other 4/5 star European resorts we have stayed in. I travelled with my 16yo daughter and she would have appreciated more animation options tailored to her age group - a nice way to break the ice with other travellers the same age, and give them some fun things to do away from the parents during the day. She enjoyed what she could in the current animation timetable, but would have loved it even more had her age demographic been catered for specifically.
- Silvia (10/5): Perfect Family Getaway in Crete! - We recently returned from a 10 days-long stay at this beautiful resort, and I can honestly say it was the perfect destination for a family vacation. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and completely at ease. The resort itself is stunning – clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed with families in mind. There were plenty of activities for both kids and adults, and we never found ourselves short on things to do. A special mention must go to the animation team – they were absolutely fantastic! Their energy, creativity, and genuine care for the children made every day exciting. Our kids couldn’t wait to join the daily activities and mini disco in the evenings – it was a real highlight of the trip. The restaurant staff were equally impressive. Every meal felt like a treat, not only because of the delicious variety of food, but also because of the warm and professional service. They always greeted us with a smile and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. This resort truly exceeded our expectations. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to return year after year. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing and memorable vacation in beautiful Crete! If we had to mention one area for improvement, it would be the addition of more ramps and accessible paths around the resort. Navigating with a stroller was sometimes a bit tricky, so having better accessibility would make the experience even more convenient for families with young children or guests with mobility needs.

- Sophie (10/5): The most relaxing, stress free holiday - This hotel exceeded our expectations! When we first arrived we felt a little out of place but we were immediately greeted with a smile and were made to feel very welcomed and at home. We couldn’t have asked for any better treatment from all of the staff whether this was from reception, waitresses/waiters to housekeeping. I would recommend this hotel for anyone thinking about it. Also as an addition, Hazel in the restaurant area was super helpful when it came to my food intolerances and I really appreciated her checking in her being available for any of my questions
- Frank (9/5): Extremely friendly staff and a very nice hotel. - We were there with our adult daughters, their husbands and our 18 month old grandson. The hotel was ideal for us, as the main pool is superb for adults, while the kiddies club has its own pool for the little ones. There were lots of activities and my wife enjoyed the yoga, stretching and aqua gym. We were on the all inclusive package, which I would really recommend as it includes most cocktails and a wide selection of wines. There was a problem with the sewage system, which resulted in a bit of a smell in certain areas of the hotel.

- Darya (9/5): Great stay - cozy hotel and nice staff the beach is great: mostly sandy, the sea is calm and good for those who are bad at swimming and there are enough sunbeds excellent cleaning quality welcome gift we arrived very late, after dinner time, but they provided us with a cold plate which was much appreciated! evening shows every day food for breakfast/dinner could be better I think. For breakfast it was always the same and by the end of the week I was tired of the options. Desserts were rather lame (except for baklava - it was scrumptious!), all other were very primitive and perharps simply defrosted most of touristic attractions are quite far away the touristic boulevard is a ~10min walk, consists of cafes and souvenirs shops. To get to the street you have to cross a highway with rather active traffic and no crosswalk nearby

- Mihai (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was quite diverse and always delicious. The beach was really clean and a pleasure to relax on. The bar staff (hotel and beach) was very friendly and the cocktails were top notch.
- Elvira (7/5): Good - We really liked the pool area and the beach, we also enjoyed the restaurant and the bar manager Yiorgos and Maria from the reception were super nice! All in all we had a good vacation but some things could be improved. Unfortunately most of the staff was moody and unfriendly a lot of the time and there was always trash standing outside of our room that the housekeepers left there.

The food was of a high quality and a huge variety catering to all tastes and diets. We had a fabulous time and were even treated to an upgrade due to our anniversary. It is very difficult to find fault with anything.

- Brandon (8/5): - My wife and I had our honeymoon at Eliros Mare. It was our first time in Greece and we really enjoyed our time. We chose to go with the all inclusive option and the room with a private pool for our stay. The only negative about our experience was that it was not a true all inclusive experience. A large portion of drinks, menu items and room service came at an extra charge. Entertainment staff were kind and made our time during the day enjoyable with beach volleyball and other pool/beach activities. Food service at breakfast, lunch and dinner was okay as the servers would rush to take your initial drink order but wouldn’t return unless they were waived down or at your table to clear plates. We enjoyed our room as it was spacious and had the private pool which was nice to have. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and would return to Eliros but would rethink the all inclusive option and most likely opt for a regular room without a private pool as we don’t believe it was utilized enough for the extra cost.

- Paul (8/5): Stuff should be more careful at cleaning, for me wasn't a 5 star hotel experience - Food was great and i liked very much the private pool from the room, and the fact that the beach was close. Mattress was awful (never had such a bad experience before in my 20 years of traveling) ...and the towels had a very bad smile ( like they weren't clean properly). Same thing i noticed with the glasses from restaurant... So cleaning is an issue for me. This hotel its not a 5 star hotel for sure. More as a 4 star.

No proper medical kit and no good pharmacies around. I was throwing up for more than 24h and there was no medication available.

- Łukasz (9/5): Worth the money - Friendly and helpful staff (all of them). The beach is really nice, the pool as well. The food was tasty and there was something new every day. We also got a better room without an extra charge, which was a pleasant surprise. I didn't like the fact that with the HB offer we had to pay for the still water... I know HB has its rules, but still water should be always free of charge (in fact, in some restaurants on Crete it is free of charge, and it doesn't have to be a fancy place).

There is sensor in the room that checks for movement in order to activate the electricity. After 10 monutes it shuts down. For us with a young baby, this meant we had to stay in the room and could nit sit on our balcony undisturbed. I did not appreciate how it was dealt with, we were told to leave window open so that the curtain would activate sensor. OFCOURSE THIS DOESNT WORK! When doing a written review on app, I got a call within the hour that they all of a sudden actually have a solution (extension cord from socket of fridge). Clearly, a WTF moment why nit offer that the night before?! This however again technically didnt work and waited 2 days for them to fix and they never came back to us.
- Camilla (9/5): Amazing people and facility but needs more cleaning! - When we arrived we were weLcomed Like kings and queens! Fresh towels and drinks! Heavenly! It was a very good first impression! And we felt at home! The rooms were very nice and quiet and easy to access with the stroller! The buffet was incredible and the staff was AMAZING! All So sweet with my kids and the food was different every night! We LOVED the bread: freshly made and tasted delicious! Also the ladies at the pool bar Cristina and Hara were the cherry on the cake! So sweet and professional! My girls and I fell in love with them and we miss them a lot!!! Pool is spectacular and the beach is mainly sandy which was good for the kids!!! Loved the iced cappuccino and the kids menu!!! Not clean enough. Hair everywhere on the stairs and in the room. Some things were updated and needed some fixing. Also the pool towels were not clean enough even if we changed them daily. Also I was very turned down by the mini club (this is one of the things I was looking for being alone with 2 kids). No real activities and the only girl taking ‘care’ of the kids speaker mainly German and clearly preferred German kids. Not happy at all with that. Activities for grown ups were great and full of energy thanks to Olga and Dimitris!
