Guest Reviews
- jgnmorales (10/5): Clean, Tidy & Accessible! - As expected from any Microtel, you get a no fuzz stay, clean, tidy and accessible. Best value in the vicinity. We chose this over the UP University Hotel.
- karenbJ4693BP (10/5): Excellent service at all levels - Their staff are very friendly, attentive and helpful.
We had a medical emergency at 3am, barely 3 hours after check in. I cannot thank their staff enough for swiftly and efficiently ordering a Grab, assiting my mom from the bed onto the wheelchair and into the car.
They even had water bottles, masks, driver's details and hotel contact details all ready for me as I was leaving the hotel in a state of panic.
Special mention to Front of House officer CM and the strong attendant who assisted my mum during the emergency.
Their rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate for us.
- 656coram (10/5): A wonderful experience - Nice, very nice team greeted us so warmly!
- r0semadelr (10/5): Our go-to hotel team outing - This is our second time staying at Microtel by Wyndham UP Technohub, and once again, we had a great experience. Our room was different from our previous stay, but it was still spacious and fresh-smelling, which we really appreciated.
The front desk staff were very nice and welcoming, and housekeeping was attentive and made sure everything was well taken care of.
We always enjoy staying here and will definitely consider coming back again!
- Compass20376774690 (10/5): Strategic Location, and Consistently Welcomed with Exceptional Service at Microtel Technohub - I’ve been a loyal guest of Microtel Technohub because its location is perfectly aligned with my office, making it very convenient for business travel. Each visit has been made even more memorable by the warm and welcoming front desk team.
One standout is CM, who consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that check‑in and check‑out are smooth and tailored to guest needs. His attentiveness and genuine care reflect the true spirit of the Microtel brand, and it’s this dedication that keeps me coming back whenever I’m in Quezon City for official business.
Thank you, CM and team, for your hospitality and professionalism, you make every stay feel like home. 🌟
- rollainer (10/5): Great stay. - Our family had a great stay at Microtel by Wyndham UP Technohub. The staff was very accommodating given and the room was very clean.
- deannagayy (8/5): Dec trip - We had a good sleep. Place was clean. Staff very friendly. Even the guards are very helpful. Breakfast food can be improved though.
- Folklorist (8/5): Walking Distance to University of the Philippines - I attended a conference at the University of the Philippines Diliman, which was just a 20-minute walk using a pedestrian bridge across a busy highway. The highway was the one negative for my stay because the traffic noise rarely abated. What I liked most were the rooftop pool and the breakfast buffet. Stand-out staff included Jimbo, who helped fix the time on the room clock, and Rory at the front desk.
- allansN4262UJ (4/5): Old and Tired Hotel - The hotel is old and looks really tired. Which is quite surprising given the actual age of the hotel. Food was overpriced, room locks are hanging for dear life. Bathroom lock is broken, towels are old and worn out, greyish. No water kettle, no coffee sachets, no tea sachets no microwave. And to think that it was a family room and booked on a Christmas season, is quite disappointing.
- 481mervinv (6/5): 1 week stay - Maybe improve on the daily breakfast perhaps will add more exciting and good stay in the hotel. And provide essential things inside the room like water kettle, glasses and tea cup would be delightful.
- Belinda (8/5): - Nice staff.
- 991maryjanev (10/5): Exceptional Hospitality - We are extremely grateful for the unwavering support provided by the manager and front desk staff on our first day at the hotel. Despite the mix-up with our booking, they went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. After our long journey from the Visayas and the booking error on our part, the exceptional customer service we received was truly remarkable. We are beyond satisfied with both the facility and the staff. Thank you so much!
- 505carlv (8/5): Staying In Quezon City - Even though the experience in the hotel is relaxing, there are improvements that the hotel will work on:
-Adding a fitness center and a spa
-Add Towels Racks with Attendant in the Pool Roof Deck
-Replace Bath Tub with Shower Cubicles for all guest rooms
-Expand the hotel by building a taller 15-storey hotel building and expand the existing building afterwards with 15 floors
-Add Hotel Shuttle Service for U.P. TechnoHub and Office Buildings
- Carlo (4/5): - The room was spacious and beds are large. Their onsite restaurant Millie’s didn’t have a good breakfast buffet selection. Even the favorite Filipino breakfast fare corned beef and longganisa were absent from the menu and yet, the price was at 500 plus. Last but not the least, the hotel is in front of a very busy street that if you’re driving, it’s hard to even get on that road Commonweal highway what with all those motorcycles approaching like a swarm of bees and NOT ONE will even let you merge.
- PiaS1590 (2/5): Nothing good to say - Nothing good to say about this hotel other than it was near the training venue that I had to attend. Staff need proper training. Ground floor halls smelled old and musky.
- 524rmt (10/5): Beautiful stay - Location: Nestled in a surprisingly cozy corner of busy Commonwealth, near UP where our son goes to school, nearby shops for various needs
Food: Excellent, simply excellent
Accommodation: spacious and relaxing
Staff: friendly and professional
Will definitely be booking again next time I’m in the area!
- melom538 (10/5): Satisfied and happy. - We enjoyed our stay, staff and guard are very accommodating and cordial. Parking is very accessible and strategic. Cleanliness of the facility is also noticeable.
- adriansS9187EV (8/5): 3.5 out of 5 stars - The hotel is very accessible despite expected traffic in Commonwealth Avenue. The hotel staff are friendly. Facilities are good especially the restaurant. There is a strong signal of Wifi in the restaurant compared inside the rooms. Though the prices in the restaurant are pricey, the staff in charged are very friendly. Kudos to Ms. Pamela, Ms. Jane and the rest of the F&B / Banquet staff for assisting us during our one month stay in Microtel UP Technohub. Kudos also to Ms. Shiela, Ms. Twinkle, Sir Ronald and Sir Rence for assisting me during a health emergency. We enjoyed our stay in Microtel. We really liked the Champorado during breakfast, though we wished there were other varieties or options during our one month stay aside from the routine meals. Sadly, I wasn't able to use the television in my room for 22 days due to issues with the cable provider. I was only able to watch TV once.. Lastly, the door in the comfort room needs repair, hindi naisasara ng nakalapat. Good thing, we have solo accommodation. Above all, our stay was great! Thank you Microtel! 🙂
- Avinash (6/5): - Staff was very accommodating and staying here allowed us to be close to UP
- Jane (10/5): - Convenient Hotel with Manila Airport pick-up arrangement.
- johnhN9568JL (4/5): Great location, but service and amenities fell short - Stayed here for an event nearby, location was excellent, and breakfast was nice. However, the overall experience was disappointing. Room lacked coffee/tea, keycard scanner looks worn out, and requested items were unavailable. The front desk, particularly one staff member, seemed overwhelmed and unwelcoming, though the security and maintenance teams were friendly. I’ve stayed in other Wyndham properties during peak periods and this felt below standard.
- Pauline Suavillo (10/5): - clean, safe nice staff
- Maria (10/5): First time - Place is good . Only thing tv is outdated.
- Lowell J (6/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent restaurant. The rooms however, are very plain and simple. Vinyl flooring, no snacks or sodas available other than room service or the restaurant. Very safe location, behind guarded gates, and tall fences along with the rest of the TechnoHub.
- Romeo (10/5): - The only difference is that I reserved and paid for 7 rooms for my guests, but we were only able to use only 5 rooms for my 11 guests due to excessive noise construction above the rooms. I notified the admin in the lobby and they would get back to me, but I didn’t hear from them. I would like to be compensated for this inconvenience.
- Romeo (10/5): - Nice rooms
- Romeo (10/5): - Comfortable room
- Romeo (10/5): - Comfortable room
- pamela (10/5): - IT was great
- raaQc (10/5): Microtel Technohub - Very near Commonwealth Avenue and UP Technohub as well as SEAMEO, Asian Institute of Tourism and Philippine Social Science Center. Very clean and green environment. It has a very relaxing atmosphere. The place is also serene and quiet, not too crowded.
- autumn2orange (2/5): No coffee and tea BUT provides slippers and toothbrush - figure that out!! - I booked a two queen size bed for a family of four (3 adults and 1 child) through Expedia. Adult is defined as over 12 yrs old. Upon checking, I was asked to pay P750. Expedia says £8.71. Even for extra 10% and conversion, it is way too high. When you are checking in after a long drive and exhausted and if you don’t pay upfront, you may end up with no accommodation for the night so I paid as I was left with very little choice.
The hotel provides a fridge, slippers and toothbrush kit, which you would expect in a 4 star hotel BUT the room which is apparently a standard room (Expedia did not mention this) does NOT provide coffee and tea. Even 2 star hotels do that.
For the price that I paid, this lack of basic provision AND asking to be paid extra are appalling.
- F4354GEmels (10/5): RECOMMENDED FOR BUSINESS FUNCTIONS! - the staff are very accommodating especially Sir Vhon, Clyde, Josh, Gabe, Owen, the facilities are top notch! food buffet is very delicious! the coffee and snacks are my favoriteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good, clean and the front desk were approachable
- ricoq72 (8/5): A nice hotel in the city amid lush landscape - Very good location in the heart of Quezon City amid lush landscape, homey spacious rooms, roof top swimming pool with a beautiful view of the landscape and neighboring buildings, hearty and filling breakfast, real good food at Millie's for reasonable prices and above all, awesome and very helpful managers and staff. GM Twinkle was always cheerful in accommodating all our requests along with all the front desk personnel making our life a lot easy during our 2 week vacation. Will definitely stay here again on my next vacation in the Philippines!
- Escape12105051401 (10/5): Microtel by Wyndham UP Technohub Experience - Stayed at Microtel for 2 days for our annual planning event and it was fantastic! Great service, comfy rooms, and delicious food at their restaurant. Special thanks to Gabe for his excellent service and Cedric whom I found to be funny and charming haha
- Abner (4/5): - The property has no water for 4 hours. Hallway is not air condition. With weather in Philippines air conditioning is a must.
- Jane (10/5): - Excellent value for money & good Manila Airport pick-up service. Will use again as required.
- Karen (2/5): - Very poor to none internet connection on our room. I need to go out in the lobby to connect.
- carmelleangeleir (10/5): Amazing - Friendly & Accommodating Staff and Best of Quality food.
Excellent Service. The staff a welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious and beds are comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious meals .I highly recommend this hotel.
- 244guillermos (8/5): Oasis in the city - Had a great stay at this hotel as it was designed very well, following the typical American model - large rooms, spacious bathrooms, minimalist lobby, and great meeting spaces. The food was excellent, and the surroundings were perfect for long walks. It's a great place to relax away from city centers. The only drawback is if you're coming from Manila, it's a long drive on the highway to make a U-turn back to the hotel due to the new railway. Nonetheless, it's a comfortable and safe place to enjoy long weekends away from the crowds.
- W5956UGarmandov (10/5): Perfect Stay - Microtel by Wyndham UP Technohub offers modern and comfortable accommodations in a prime location within Quezon City. The hotel's proximity to business centers, universities, and dining options makes it ideal for both business and leisure travelers. Guests appreciate the spacious rooms, complimentary breakfast, and friendly staff. The rooftop pool and lounge area provide a relaxing retreat with scenic views of the city. Overall, Microtel by Wyndham UP Technohub is a great choice for a convenient and enjoyable stay in Quezon City.
- 864joselitoa (8/5): Worthwhile stay! - I had the opportunity to visit this place thanks to a workshop sponsored by UNICEF. My week-long stay was incredibly satisfying. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. I’d especially like to commend the banquet team assigned to us—they were proactive, respectful, and cheerful. I look forward to a longer stay in the future. Keep up the great work, everyone!
- marissa (6/5): - Pool is not swimmable. It was a foggy green color.
- 221shielamaeb (10/5): Superb team and comfortable events place - We recently conducted our meeting here and all can I say is that thay have a superb team who made our event successful. A very big thanks to Sir Josh, Sir Renz, Sir Patrick and Sir Aaron for accommodating our requests and for making our stay comfortable. Thank you so much!
- Glenn (10/5): - This property was very safe and in a nice location where the noise level was low. The dining option in the lobby dining area was amazing and the staff was well-trained and spoke English fluently. We never made it to the pool but when we fly out of Manila, we will stay there again because it was so nice.
- Amparo (10/5): - Confortable stay ,staff and service are amazing.
- freea2016 (6/5): Average experience - Highlights:
1. The room is spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids.
2. The location is perfect if you like some peace and quiet. There are a lot of greenery in the surroundings.
3. There is water dispenser and ice machine in the common area.
4. The basic amenities in the room would make your stay comfortable enough.
Lowlights:
1. There are no pool towels, so we used our room towels when my kids went swimming.
2. The front desk is always empty whenever I go there. Most of the time they are just at the back room, and won't notice you unless you call them.
3. Don't expect too much from their breakfast buffet, it is very limited. I paid for the same price in a 4-star hotel for an additional breakfast for my daughter, and it was sumptuous. If you have a choice, eat somewhere else.
- Raymundo (10/5): - Clean, quiet and great customer service!
- Divinia (8/5): - With the heat, the restaurant Millie"s in the hotel's 1st floor provide a haven for dining and meetings.
The breakfast is very spartan (limited choice) considering the price as pcompared to other hotels' breakfast.
The option to pre-paid breakfast does not allow senior citizen discount. That discount is not given should be made clear when offering prepaid breakfast option. Honest prevents confusion.
- Marites (10/5): Clean and comfy - Great hotel for a quiet stay with no frills. The room, in general, is very clean and comfortable for a good night’s rest. The only issue was with the cable that was not working for half of my stay. Love that there is a restaurant open in the building as well that serves decent Filipino fusion food with very attentive wait staff. The hotel staff is great too, from the guard who always greets you warmly at the door, to the friendly and knowledgeable front desk agents, to the accommodating housekeeping team. I’ll stay here again when I visit home because it’s budget friendly.
- L5016XMeg (6/5): Average stay - Breakfast at Millie's was the best part of our stay--servers were very polite and friendly especially Cedric, Kat and Princess. They always had a smile and were very attentive to our needs. Food selection was also good.
The front lobby of the hotel was nice and clean as well.
The room on the other had was underwhelming. This is a basic hotel to sleep in. Unfortunately, there were 4 different nights that i saw a cockroach in our room (3x in the bathroom and once on the desk area). Might be a good idea to have the rooms fumigated once in a while to kill such pests. Also, the shower drain was very slow...
Just an average rating for our stay.
- Raymundo (10/5): - The amenity is great!
- Leo (10/5): - Walking distance to U.P. and restaurant at techno hub.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Budget friendly accommodation. Need the bathroom a little cleaning as noted rusty shower head and dry soaps on the floor. They provided drinking station in the hall way with hot and cold water.
- gabrielanthonyf (10/5): Great hotel 10/10! - Very kind and accomodating staff! We requested many favors and they delivered as soon as possible. Kudos to Sir Vhon, John, and Patrick and the rest of the team. They are very welcoming and helpful to all our concerns The hotel's facilities are spacious and comfy. Great for work conferences. Will recommend to others.
- babylync2021 (10/5): Microtel is great place with warm and kind staff - 1. All staff are accommodating and kind particularly Vhon, Clyde, Patrick, Josh, Geb and Drew.
2. Their food is good and the ambience is relaxing and conducive for workshops, and group events.
3. Rooms are clean and onformable
4. Function halls are well maintained and spacious.
- chafideles14 (10/5): Rate - it was excellent and very accommodating stay i will back again . We had a spacious room for 4 with beautiful views and wonderful service and hospitality from the staff
.Thank you Wyndham for wonderful stay and more achievement and elegant in the hotel
- 221darwine (10/5): When service is the best quality of a hotel you will find right at the heart of U.P. campus - Great and very attentive service by the crew especially Patrick. The food is delish. But it's the service crew that are really memorable. I hope everyone does this kind of service to all hotels.I hope to have the same experience until Friday.
- franzandreii (10/5): Good food, quiet city experience - The food served is always amazing. Also, all rooms have a garden view and are cozy. You wouldn't expect such accommodations so near the capital and yet away from the hustle of the city. All of their staff were also helpful particularly Princess and Josh 💚
- billy (10/5): - staff are very friendly
- Safari47968031846 (10/5): Overall experience did not disappoint - No expectation but did not disappoint. Good place to relax and stay. Clean place and very accommodating staffs. Average food. Princess did a great job assisting us and her smile lights up the place. Overall good experience and will probably come back.
- Explorer31784561869 (10/5): Convenient and accessible place to stay - Good place to stay in since it was also very convenient for us that it's just near St Peter's Commonwealth during the wake of my aunt. Then the rooms are neat and clean so comfortable to rest from a tiring day and the staff are very approachable and accommodating.
- DayTrip50378982748 (10/5): Excellent - Staff are very welcoming and accomodating. Millie's restaurant is excellent. Staff like Princess and Renz are commendable. The place very relaxing and peaceful. I visited on a valentines day. There was so much love in the air even among the hotel staff.
- Raymundo (10/5): - Close to UP and all good things!
- EDGAR (8/5): - I booked online expecting to have a free breakfast. But when I check-in the front service is not included.
- perry (8/5): - They made mistake on my booking for 3 person and charge me extra but later on the corrected it and gave me refund other than that it was a good experience staff are helpful.. need to improved bellhops services not enough staff had to carry our own baggage’s
- mitzi (10/5): - loved this gem! we didn't expect much, but for the price it was excellent. this property are for those people looking for a respite in the middle of chaos. if you want malls and shopping this is not the place for you, but if you want quiet with views of trees outside your window, then this is it. the security guard was really nice and helpful, the front desk ladies were always smiling, and millie's was our daughter's favorite - it was delicious!!! great stay, the room we stayed in was comfortable and had plenty of space for three :) lastly the roof top pool was awesome.
note: we did hear our neighbor's voices a bit through the walls, but no biggie since the crowd here seems to be business like.
- Gaudencio (8/5): - Very good location.
- Katherine (10/5): - The services that was provided to us were excellent.
- Robert (2/5): - Was charged for an extra person even thou there wasn't an extra person. TV didnt work for the 2 days there. Everything at Breakfast is cold. Except for the Omelet station. Not even an offer for the TV not working for the 2 days. Wont be back.
- Mark (10/5): - Staff was very pleasant and helpful.👍 Loved the food there. Rooms were nice. Grab readily available to go anywhere. Security all over. Environment pleasant.
- Lourdes (10/5): - Excellent
- Matthew (10/5): - Close to everything. Rooms are really clean. Staff is really nice.
- Gilbert (8/5): - Used condoms on the swimming pool area
- Maylyn (10/5): - Very nice place to stay, clean and comfortable bedding
- Luciano (6/5): - We usually stay here as a nice hotel to stop before catching a flight the next day, however this time we had two issues: 1. barely working A/C 2. no hot water at about 11pm.
- Jeseric (4/5): - Room 210. Nice hotel with very nice staff but the problem is you can hear the next door’s conversation clearly and loudly through the walls though it’s concrete walls. So annoying. Cant concentrate. Hard to sleep.
- Gary (8/5): - The dining room is very nice with a fine Buffett breakfast.
- Ronald (8/5): - There is only one restaurant. The hotel should give a small map of surrounding eateries and ride options.
- Winona (10/5): - It’s very nice and I love that it’s safe to walk around the property, peaceful n quiet specially in the morning. The only thing is there’s no place close by to eat at or even a convenient store.
- Yves (8/5): - The hotel restaurant was great, good food and staff was excellent.
The tv cable box was not working good because both remotes were in need of new batteries. So beside that everything went well.
- Dale (8/5): - This hotel is somewhat outdated, but it could certainly be worse. I stayed at the Radisson a few days prior, and this place blows them out of the water in terms of comfort. The Beds could improve, but I had no problem sleeping on them. A/C worked well. Internet clocked in at 144 mbsp. The CR has a bidet and I was finally able to enjoy a HOT shower!
The rooftop pool is impressive at night! But, its not very deep. -Maybe 4.5 ft at its deepest.
The TV is very small and low quality. The in-room ref makes noises, when it works.
I was also not impressed with the onsite restaurant. Other reviews loved it, but the food was mediocre imo. Having had dinner there, we came down for breakfast but was disappointed. Their breakfast buffet, contained 2 hot items, rice, cereals and juice. Not much for P500/ea. So, we passed on breakfast.
All in all, if I'm ever back in the QC area, I will stay here again.
- Sagar Prajnasimhan (8/5): - Nice surroundings. Pleasant staff
- Irene (6/5): - Rooms are old.
The dining area is the best feature of this property. Bfast buffet served daily. Convenient, clean and nice atmosphere.
- JAY (10/5): - Excellent staff and property.
- Michael (8/5): Microtel - Our stay was fine. Friendly staff.
Quiet, comfortable, clean and everything worked. Buffet breakfast included was enjoyable. A few things to note from online info. Front desk is 6am to 10pm. No onsite laundry or do it yourself laundry. They send it out (reasonable cost). Security area so to get a cab have to walk out to the street. Overall we had a nice time.
- Michael (10/5): - Great place to stay. Very clean...
- maria (10/5): - I recommend this hotel is excellent
- Agnes (10/5): - Wonderful stay
- Eldina (10/5): Simple clean hotel in outer reaches of Quezon city - Efficient no frills hotel with clean accommodations and fairly good food. Not a good location unless you are there for business at UP or peripheral Quezon City however
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I.like the bed. So comfy
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I had a great time staying at the hotel! The personnels were very courteous and they respect their guest really well.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Comfortable accommodations that fit our needs. Needed 3 towels but only could get 2.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Courteous friendly helpful Staff - that truly makes the difference. We choose to come back over and over ...regard this place our home away from home ... such calming no frills just bare essentials ..importantly tidy and pristine always .. enough to make us happy ... you don't get this feeling in hotels ... only at home. Hotels tend to pamper ... we just want to feel relaxed - Microtel UP Technohub delivers to perfection.
- Verified traveler (2/5): HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - We booked Microtel by Wyndham UP Techno Hub via phone Nov 15 thru Hotels.com from the United States. During booking, specifically mentioned free cancellation policy. The booking was from Nov 26-Dec 1. The first night we saw a cockroach in the room. Our room and hallway smelled of cigarettes. The following day, we chatted with hotels.com. Discussed possible early checkout due to issues with room. Very accommodating and mentioned our booking was with free cancellation, so shouldn’t have any issue receiving a refund for the 4 additional nights as long as we checked-out before noontime that day. Hotels.com stated numerous attempts calling Microtel resulted with nobody was answering. Also had issues contacting the front desk when calling from our room. Found a different hotel so, packed our things and headed to the front desk. The Microtel front desk said they don’t have the authority to refund and the manager was not available at that time. She stated they would contact us via email or call us with decision, never did. NOTE no Manager on the property!!!! No manager in the morning, afternoon or evening. Hotel also mentioned that she did spoke with Hotels.com representative, Thor and would relay the message. Continued followup, speaking with 4 different reps. All stated no refund and/or manager. Hotels.com followed up several times with same results, no refund, no manager available. Bottom line, no refund for 4 nights not use. It was a HORRIBLE experience. DONT STAY HERE!!!!!

Serve it's basic function.
Shower facilities could be better with some proper maintenance.
