• Dazia (7/5): - easy walk to the beach and the staff is really nice there was a stove but nothing to cook with in there, i wasn’t informed you had to bring pots and pans, booking didn’t have the right rating to pay so i had to pay an extra $20 every night i was staying there

The room was not clean, and the entire place smelled strongly of cigarettes. Even the bed had a cigarette odor, which made it impossible to sleep comfortably. The overall cleanliness was poor. I cannot recommend this hotel unless they take serious steps to improve room hygiene and air quality i had two little kids they have to check it twice before giving it to me.

• Cheryl (10/5): Wonderful staff! - Wonderful pool. Good parking. Good location close to beach but not amidst noise or chaos. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. If you need “posh”, you may not like it, but if you need a comfortable quiet place to shower and crash, it is a good and very affordable place. I stayed an extra night and would choose to go back there if I stayed at VA Beach again.

• Casey (7/5): Not worth it - Lady at check in was very nice bathroom had a lot of stains and nothing looked clean, door hinge was broken and cut my dads arm open. went down to front desk for a bandaid and was told “I dont think we have a first aid kit here” and then they didn’t even give us extra rags to help clean up the blood so we probably just added to their stain collection…

• Ashma (1/5): The place called dirty and nasty. Everything was falling apart. The toilet are not working. - The stuff was nice The room are dirty the restroom toilet not working. I booked three rooms. None of them not working filthy nasty. I’ll never go back the aerial dangerous. People are smoking weed on the stairs all day all night. It smell horrible. I will not recommend anybody.

The price was way too high, probably because of the July 4th holiday, but it was absolutely not worth it. The stairs smelled like urine, and honestly, it was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had.

They said we would have to go through booking.com to get a refund after I showed them the video, They are now refusing the refund and said the cleaning lady didn't find any bed bugs, which is not true. Im sure they rented the room to someone the next day. Very dirty
• Kutscher (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE!! - Absolutely nothing I walked in and the room smelled like cigarettes and had cigarettes holes in the sheets and on the floor. I immediately due to how disgusting it was checked the sheets and bathroom. The sheets had literal blood and human pubes (see photos) I felt dirty just standing in the room. The desk receptionist seemed like she was on crack. I’m not even exaggerating this was literally the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I informed them and showed the cleaning lady the room. I was told no refunds despite the below pictures. I get no refund if the room was clean but this was just disgusting. I left the key in the room and left immediately. I had to sleep in my car which is unacceptable. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The rooms were clean for the most part but could use some remodeling. They also let me park in the lot after checkout for the day so I could walk the boardwalk, which was super amazing. I think they went above and beyond and deserve 5 stars overall. N/A

• Ronae (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely everything but the owner I’m not sure if she’s racist or was having a bad day that day but it turned bad So all the staff was absolutely lovely I stayed there for about 5 days Thursday to Monday morning. Friday morning when I left I packed up everything and forgot the kids stroller which had my property in the back of it so I called and they said they didn’t know if they had it I had to call back so I called back and she said yes we have it come get it I get there and all my stuff from the back is missing so I say do you know where it is and she said well no we got that out of the dumpster and I’m like what I’ve literally uses every day that I’ve been here everyone has seen me use it and my things were in the back so clearly it was a mistake and I called right after. so I was confused on how it ended up in the dumpster so I asked again do you know where the things are in the back and she called the maintenance man and he said I have a pink container and all I asked was what about the things that was in it and she said well if you’re gonna call us a thief and he’s been with me for 25 years then how about we just throw the whole damn stroller away and began to walk up on me to grab my property to throw it away so I said whoa put my hands up and said let me get off your property because please don’t touch me or my property so I go outside I speak with the maintenance man he admits that he threw everything away out of the painting but he didn’t throw all my change away but all my quarters nickels dimes are many missing he literally gave me I’ll pennies back! She wouldn’t apologize to me or anything

• Vincent (3/5): Absolutely, “NEVER AGAIN”, I’d rather sleep in my car. - The staff was very nice… The room was nasty…cigarette burns, rug was very dirty & old…I constantly was looking for bugs. The place needs fixing & an overall makeup…I was skeeved for the 2days I stayed there. Labor Day weekend 2022…& I stayed because the price was better than the other hotels.

Room was nasty, thr carpet was GROSS, my 12 yr old daughter was scared to go to the bathroom alone bc the ceiling coming down. We didn’t even use the shower it was disgusting. Hair all in the tub.

The stairways always smelled like urine. I can hear children running around outside in the walkway of the motel. My friend had the same opinions as I did. I’m definitely paying the extra $200 to stay at a more premium location.

• Jessica (6/5): - The staff was very perfessional and very nice and helpful! The room had a board off the wall and it was just laying in the closet. The kitchen closet when we opened it someone had just swept crumbs and trash in there and left it. One bedroom had a needle syringe cap in the closet. Gross. Outside when we were walking to the beach we seen a needle on the ground. Very nasty and sick when u have kids. The pool was nice and the staff was awesome but the room was not the cleanest. Maids need to clean up alittle better in my opinion and make sure theyre is nothing that kids shouldnt see in the rooms or property. The office area looked really clean. Our room had NO bugs. Air conditioning worked very well and was only a couple min walk to the beach and the gas station. I enjoyed it for the most part.
• DOUGLAS (2/5): Roach Motel - It was a non smoking room that smelled like an ash tray. I complained to front desk. My daughter is asthmatic and she couldn't breath in the room. There were people drinking and playing loud music in the parking lot. We ssked for a different room but were told there were none. So they offered to reimburse us but never got my money back.

The cold water on the tub is broken, and they did nothing to fix it when we called. This janky place is over priced for such terrible service. Don't waste your money, book a real hotel.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - It was a good location not on the board walk but all you have to do is walk across the street and you’re there don’t have to drive or find parking because you’re basically on the strip the on the other hand the stairwells smelled of pee and where dirty seen a couple of roaches the first night but nothing else afterwards have a small kitchenette just a stovetop and you have to bring your own cooking ware and have a mini fridge so you can’t store much in there overall it wasn’t all that bad except there’s no WiFi so if you need it you won’t get it there the manager was nice and accommodated and made arrangements for me to make me feel better they do have good service and the room service guy was nice I knew what time to expect him every morning asking if I needed anything
• Verified traveler (4/5): Drug Dealing Capital of the City - Stairs real of urine. Parking lot might as well have a sign advertising it is the drug capital of the city. Cops were called to the parking lot during our stay from excessive screaming I assume. Hair on bed upon arrival. Paid extra for a non smoking room, we all head head aches the first night because it was clearly a smoking room (with ash tray). Bed was hard, pillows hurt, foods looked like they had multiple break in attempts. One positive: All staff were incredibly friendly. I wish I was able to get a refund. It was expensive for the quality of the room and location.
• Dora (10/5): - I was extremely happy with the 2 nights I stayed here. It is a little out of date, but for the price, friendliness & helpfulness of the staff, and the fact that it is literally 2 blocks to the boardwalk & beach, you just can't beat it. If I ever go again, I won't even look at any other motels because I was perfectly happy with this one!
