Please note that it is allowed a maximum of 2 pets up to 15 kg, per reservation, per villa. Pets are only allowed in the Villas, not in the rooms. Payments in cash: • According to the Portuguese law, cash transactions are limited to a maximum of €3000 or its equivalent in foreign currency. When payment is done by individuals not residents in Portugal and not acting as entrepreneurs or merchants, the limit is €10 000. • For IRC taxpayers, as well as IRS taxpayers who have or must have organized accounting, payments of an amount equal to or greater than €1000, or its equivalent in foreign currency, must be made through a means of payment that allow the identification of the respective recipient. • Cash payment of taxes exceeding €500 is not allowed. During the check-in, the Montargil Monte Novo reserves the right to request a security deposit to guarantee the payment of any damage and/or loss of any equipment part of the villa inventory. The villa inventory, with the cost of each equipment, will be provided to the guest. At the time of the check-in, a security deposit will be requested. This security deposit can be paid in cash or by credit card. The amounts vary according to the type of accommodations: 2 (two) bedroom villa: 300,00€ (three hundred euros); 3 (three) bedroom villa: 400,00€ (four hundred euros): The amount of the deposit will be returned at the time of the check-out, after verifying that there are no damages. Quarto com todas as comodidades necessárias, possibilidade de beber um chazinho ou um café (tem uma máquina). Não encontrámos logo a recepção porque fica no primeiro piso do edifício central, na zona de bar e refeições, e não estava sinalizada na entrada.

Francisco Osório Trindade (8/5): A experiência do Hotel Monte Novo foi agradável - O espaço da casa, a zona envolvente, incluindo a piscina privativa com uma excelente qualidade da água.. O cuidado diário da manutenção da piscina Gostamos do sossego, privacidade e do fácil acesso à vila e estacionamento dos carros. O pequeno almoço foi sempre entregue na hora certa. Para chegar à recepção é necessário subir umas escadas estreitas. Não há elevador, nem rampa de acesso. Pedimos limpeza em dias alternados e só foi efectuada a limpeza na véspera do checkout. O pequeno almoço, para quem está alojado nas vilas, não pode ser no restaurante. É necessário preencher uma lista dos produtos e a respectiva quantidade, o que limita as opções diárias.

Peaceful with the added benefit of a restaurant onsite and lovely helpful staff. - The private pool and breakfast delivery were excellent Sofas need updating as the seats were very hard and uncomfortable. AC didn’t really cope well in the bigger room and the kitchen didn’t have much surface area to prepare food.
