Guest Reviews
- Alena (2/5): Don’t waste your money - Location I encountered several issues during my stay that significantly impacted the experience. The key provided did not work for the building door, requiring me to return to the main office twice for assistance. On the second visit, I was informed that there was no guarantee the key would work and was advised to try “wiggling” the card, which is not an acceptable solution.
The bathroom was not properly cleaned, with long black hairs in the sink, and there was no hot water available throughout my stay. Additionally, the walls are extremely thin, making it difficult to rest due to constant noise from neighboring units.
Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing stays I’ve experienced.
- Jonatthan (10/5): Very enjoyable - The facilities were much better than I had anticipated from the price.
Very good and lovely staff I have no complaints, the Falmouth Inn was fantastic
- Jill (8/5): -
- Nancy (8/5): - The breakfast would have been excellent if the food had been hot. Both the eggs and sausage were lukewarm at best. Hash browns would have been a nice touch. Even the coffee wasn't very hot. The flooring was very sticky or tacky in the breakfast area which made all kinds of noise when walking across. Rooms were great, breakfast was lacking.
- Howard (9/5): clean ,comfortable room ,plenty of parking - room clean and comfortable, good customer service . Did not have any dislike
- Frederick (10/5): -
- Robert (7/5): Comfortable, clean, good parking, over priced. - The room was very nice, quite well done and clean. The continental breakfast is poorly done. No hospitality, and the food furnished was awful. For example, no milk for cereal. Another guest had a daughter who wanted waffles and nothing there to make it. I heard her father being turned down, that it couldn't be furnished. There was plenty of time left before the deadline having breakfast. The front desk staff person was pleasant but every time I went to the desk I had to wait for her appearance without knowing when that would be.
- Diana (7/5): Clean and inexpensive - Wasn't able to locate breakfast. One pillow case had an old stain.
- Alexa (8/5): Great place, would stay again. - Clean, comfortable, very friendly staff.
- Anthony (7/5): -
- Rian (6/5): - Breakfast
- PAMELA (7/5): The front desk wasn't always available. -
- Veronica (8/5): It served its purpose as an overnight stay. I would book it again. Only thing it could have been closer to shopping, b - Good night sleep, clean linens comfortable bed and bedding.
- Michelle (8/5): -
- Christine (9/5): great location and service - everything nothing
- Andrea (10/5): - Friendly staff and clean and lovely staff changing towels and sheets
- Guy (7/5): - The room was clean and spacious. The hotel is centrally located to walk to all the shops in Falmouth village. a side door (key activated) was wedged open by a power cord (this was corrected sometime during the night)
- Domingos (10/5): -
- Lafferty (8/5): -
- Julia (1/5): Was charged a $20 booking fee at checking that o had already paid y - Breakfast was not up to par with other continental breakfasts I've had elsewhere. It was mimimal. Everything
- EARLAlbany_NewYork (6/5): Acceptable Stay - Watch Hidden Fees - Room was comfortable, property decently maintained although the hallway reeked of pot. Watch out for hidden fees. I prepaid my room but when I showed up they charged me $20 doe the 3rd adult, my daughter, in the room and $20 because they said I booked it through a third party - Hopper - who I never heard of and I booked the room through Capital One. Breakfast was meager and ran out early. Admiralty Inn down the street was a better deal.
- Karen (7/5): - Clean comfortable and quiet Continental breakfast was terrible
- Malcolm (5/5): -
- Bart (7/5): - beds were good breaKFAST WAS HORRIBLE
- Mihaela (2/5): The stay was fine, I am giving 1 star for the bad breakfast. - The room was fine and closed to downtown The breakfast was very bad. I don't recommend it. On the website was showing more options. Fruits there were only bananas, bread, bagels, muffins, cereal with milk, pancakes. Eggs looked very bad, sausages as well, coffee too.
I had bread with butter, and tea.
- KIM (6/5): - 1 to 10
Was a 2
- Joanne (4/5): - Very dated and dirty
- Hope (10/5): - Friendly staff at check-in
Quiet
- Anne (6/5): - Expected more. Too much like a 60s motel.
- Wyett (8/5): Went for a relaxing time, staff was exceptional in ensuring time at hotel was enjoyable - Very friendly staff, very accommodating, lots of fun
- Guest (10/5): in law - emergency trip for father n law in hospital everyone here was super helpful and friendly rooms very clean and comfortable
- Janice (6/5): - The hotel was deserted but it was off season. The front desk girl was no help in explaining the breakfast or anything in the area.
- Alexandre (6/5): - Disappointed with place , lack of quality and poor quality management
- Bruno (10/5): -
- Dan (8/5): -
- Dhessi (10/5): -
- Josefina (2/5): - Place looked run down and had strong chemical smell in the hallway and room. Could not stay. The odor made my eyes water and gave me a scratchy throat. Requested a refund but was out of luck.
- Guest (8/5): Good Value - Found this hotel to be clean and comfortable. The location was central to Falmouth and met my needs for visiting family. The breakfast is basic but included eggs. The room was comfortable and quiet with very courteous and helpful housekeeping staff. The hotel has no elevator so if you can't carry your luggage up the stairs. One suggestion to management is to replace your pool towels. The supply was lacking and the quality poor.
- Debra (10/5): - Friendly staff and comfortable room
- Deborah (10/5): - We attened an event very close ny at a marina. We were able to park and walk. Hotel has a restaurant and bar, but lots of options withinn walking distsnce. Close to main street shopping with lots of shops and restaurants. Not a big deal, but we arrivrd at 1pm, check in is at 3pm. Our room was ready but they said $20 extra to check in early, we just left our truck and went out and came back later for our keys. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Its a basic hotel, we would stay again
- Stephanie (2/5): - This was very expensive for what was provided . There was no breakfast and no urgency to make the warm breakfast , the hotel was clean but the hospitality was not impressed .
- Colleen (5/5): -
- Adriano (7/5): -
- Peggy (8/5): - The Falmouth inn is located close to nearby stores and restaurants, so it’s convenient for our needs. The rooms have a fridge and a microwave which was great. The downside is no housekeeping services or clean towels which we only noticed after returning to our room late in the day. I had to go to the front desk for clean towels. There’s an indoor pool which we didn’t use. They offered free breakfast self serve breakfast of toast and English muffins, fruit, cereal-hot and cold, make your own waffles, premade eggs and sausages. Coffee, juices, and milk. We liked it and thought it was a nice amenity. We enjoyed our stay.
- Michael (2/5): - The facility needs an upgrade; carpets dirty, smells from hotel and the continental breakfast was limited and of really poor quality. On the first morning, no milk or yogurt for the stale cereal and no one to ask (for this we paid $275 for the first night) and could not cancel the 2nd night as we pre-booked. Upon our return we definitely did not stay here again! Upon close inspection of our bill there was a $15 cleaning fee - I guess you pay to have the room cleaned after you stay there. Our advice DON'T DO IT.
- Kelly (10/5): - Short trip everything was perfect
- Maria (8/5): - Continental breakfast was very basic. Opted to go to Dunkin down the street. Walkable to ferry. Nice restaurants in the area.
- Joseph (8/5): Pricey but nice - Nice location nice comfortable room friendly staff and nice complimentary breakfast. Some few odd handicap parking spaces.
- Ebrahim (8/5): - Comfortable room. Good parking. Location good for visiting other areas of Cape Cod
- Salma Waheed (10/5): - Was good
- jessica (10/5): - Super friendly, clean parking lot, bathrooms, pool and rooms. Front desk staff and cleaning staff are phenomenal
- Daphney (6/5): - I had no real issues with the place.
- Kip (7/5): Good for quick overnight. Clean. Breakfast 4/10 - Breakfast is precooked packaged fake food. It’s the worst part of the stay.
- Ellen (8/5): - Property clean. Husband walking issues. I told them. We got first floor, but it was down the end so we needed car to access lobby, pool. Continental Breakfast was just ok. Attached restaurant really good, but limited. No quick sandwich or burger type food. Attached lounge closed by 9, 10 friday and saturday. Only entertainment Sat and more just background music at that. Staff was very friendly especially restaurant, bar and front desk. Location was convenient, but away from hustle. Had a nice time. Would still go there, but i would be more specific about room choice .
- Mark (6/5): - The property is a little rundown but fine for the price.
- Inna (10/5): - Clean indoor pool, good breakfast
- Patrick (6/5): - Accommodations were suitable housekeeping, would be my only complaint
- Wayne (8/5): - Restaurant closed kitchen earlier than posted hours. Food was excellent when open. Staff very good. Hot tub not working. Room very clean.
- Luis (10/5): - Very nice place, very nice people
- Samer (4/5): - The place needs to be updated. With what we paid for one night it should be better. The young man who was servicing the breakfast area was awesome, he let us have breakfast past 10:00.
- cecilia (6/5): - Located in central area
- Carolyn (10/5): - Quiet
- Suzanne (2/5): basic motel - Breakfast was non-existent and the coffee not drinkable
- Enrique (10/5): - Lication
- Derick (10/5): - My husband and I took a chance here and booked a last minute getaway over labor day weekend. We usually look to treat ourselves with "swankier" places when we travel, so my opinion is based on comparing this stay to 27 other Cape accommodations over the last six years. We stayed in a standard, two-queen room. The room was immaculately clean and the staff was so polite and friendly. The air conditioning and heat were both needed on the trip and worked fast. The bathroom layout was small but well appointed. The beds were clean and comfortable, but I suggest bringing your own pillows - three per bed, but not great support. Plenty of parking with good lighting. We did not use the pool or the onsite restaurant. The breakfast was probably the only real complaint. To be fair, we did arrive at the latter end of availability (7am-10am - we arrived at 9am), but nearly everything was gone; ie., no waffle batter, toast, eggs, milk for cereal, or sausage were left. Only apple-cinnamon, prepackaged muffins, bananas, and weak coffee. As one other guest said that was staying, "If they are offering breakfast until 10, then EVERYTHING should be available until 10!" We agreed. However, there are many great places nearby, including a drive-thru Stabucks a half mile away and other bakeries and cafes. Great location to hit several beaches under 15 min drive. Affordable and sincerely, cleaner and more comfortable than MOST of the high-end places we have stayed. We will absolutely book here again!
- Tony (1/5): Terrible - I didn’t like room was not clean Nothing will not stay again
- Robert (6/5): Easy walk to Ferry - Basic room within a short walk of the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard.
- Phyllis (10/5): - This property is just a 10 minute walk to catch the Island Queen ferry so you don’t have to pay to park in their parking lot.
- Margaret (10/5): -
- Kathlene (10/5): - Good location. Fair price.
- Denise (10/5): - This property was ideally located to ferry and shopping. Very clean, quiet, friendly staff. Free light breakfast and very nice dinner options in attached restaurant. Good value $
- Carlo (6/5): - Letti molto comodi Struttura datata, da rinnovare completamente
- Lisa (10/5): - The property was quiet. The beds were extremely comfortable and we slept very well both nights. The morning breakfast was great with lots of variety.
- James (10/5): - The owners were having a problem with the hot water that/day/evening. They were super apologetic even though we did not mind( if taking a cold shower is gonna ruin my day-I’ve got issues). Everything was turned back on by 7:00 pm. Contractor looked like he had been run over by a truck he was so tired. It was 98° that day by the way. Contractor and owner did a great job.Kudos!!
- Christie (6/5): - The room served our purpose. The property looked run down in certain areas (for example, duct tape holding down the hall way carpet).
- Winifred (8/5): - It needed some TLC. Worn areas need to be updated
- Colas (8/5): -
- william r (6/5): -
- Rachel (10/5): - We just spent a few days at the Falmouth Inn. After reading some of the reviews on google, I got nervous but the hotel was very nice. It was clean (rooms, hallways and grounds), the staff members were friendly and ample parking unlike many other places that you’re crammed in like sardines.
If you’re looking for a five star resort with all of the bells and whistles, this certainly isn’t it but we would definitely go back!
- india (2/5): - the worst hotel i've stayed in. it was filthy. blood and urine on the stained, yellow bedsheets. Carpet was filthy. no amenities (have to purchase water at reception). my children didn't feel safe. we actually left after 45 minutes and went to another hotel locally. Avoid, avoid, AVOID!
- Lafferty (8/5): -
- gaioum (8/5): Great value! - Mattresses were fantastic. Pool is nice albeit a little cold. Brazilian/italian restaurant at night is fine, decent value. Breakfast is fine as well. Great for a pit stop or a budget stay in a great area. We found last minute availability in August after an unforeseen change of plans.
- Kim Buckley (10/5): - The hotel is convoy to down town, clean and seemed updated since last visit. The price was right.
- Francesca (8/5): - I like how centrally-located the hotel was to the Falmouth Road Race and other important areas in town. Also LOVED the onsite restaurant.
- Martin (8/5): - It was fine
- Brian (10/5): - Curtains wouldn't close all the way. Other than that it was good and I'd stay there again.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - The restaurant was great
- Adrienne (8/5): -
- amy (8/5): - Walking distance to the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard and only a few minutes by car to restaurants and shopping
- Gina (8/5): - Overall we were happy with the property. I like that there is a restaurant right in the front. Location was good and close walking distance to stores.
A few critiques is the bed linens could be less dingy and the towels a bit better quality. I found them thin and not soft. Also, if no elevator, there needs to be wheelchair accessible ramps.
I would stay again as it served my purpose
- Dianne (8/5): - it was a nice stay for one of night.
- Robert (5/5): -
- Mira (3/5): - There was no hot water for our stay and no discount was offered.
- Christina (5/5): -
- Danice (8/5): - Conviently located and affordable
- Teresa (6/5): -
- Teufel (8/5): Great stay all things considered. - Breakfast was great, room was in excellent condition! Location was close to everything. On Saturday night there were a couple of guys hanging out in front of the entrance to the door to get into B that didn’t being there and made us feel uneasy when we re-entered the building. They relocated to the rear parking lot when I went out later to check on my car.
- Marcia (7/5): -
- Mary (8/5): - Restaurant right next door. Convenient breakfast. Easy check in and out. Good customer service- quick resolve of missing towels. Bathroom showerhead height too short- had to bend to wash hair. Overall good experience.
- Laurie (8/5): - Our room was clean and updated. The hotel was busy but quiet. The Hot tub was not available and breakfast was just ok. We would stay here again.
