Guest Reviews
- Roosevelt (4/5): - The view
- Joseph G. (8/5): Okay - Unit was ok. The hide-a-bed (couch) had broken/missing springs. The sliding glass door handle was almost falling off. I had to call both of those in to be fixed.
The unit was clean. However, it needs to be updated.
The two full beds as soon as you walk into the unit were very uncomfortable.
The location is great. Having a supermarket very close by is nice.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The condo itself was very, very small, but clean. There is no dishwasher or dish rack, so washing dishes was very problematic. The coffee pot did not have a carafe, and only one dish towel was provided. The building itself was located close to the beach, which was nice. The lobby was clean and eveyone was friendly. I would definately stay there again, just not in that particular condo.
- Stephanie (10/5): - We had a great time the condo itself was beautiful and extremely clean. he building could use some updates in the hallway ect but overall we had a great trip and would stay here again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Our stay - Our stay was okay however housekeeping didn’t come to clean room or provide more towels during our stay. We had to empty our own trash. There is no front desk so keys have to be picked up and dropped off at a separate location. Overall room was okay for the price. Front desk service clerk was nice.
- Kelseigh (6/5): - The ladies at the office were amazing ! The pool was always cold because it was constantly in the shade . Whoever does the cleaning needs to have more training done , there was a bloody sheet under the sink in the half bath , they left someone’s bar of soap above the shower . We had to rewash the dishes , because when they put them up they didn’t look at them to make sure the dish washer cleaned them correctly . Speaking of dish washer , we had to put water in it to get it to work . (Which I brought up to the office upon. Checking out) I’m really hoping that the owners of that specific condo update the room soon , change the carpet due to the burn marks in the living room .. I would book with palmetto again , just not at the dunes towers .
- Georgette (6/5): Palmetto Vacation Rentals - The address for the Condo was incorrect and we were not given a code to get into the building. There was an empty toilet roll under my bed and an empty styrofoam cup under the table. We did not have a tv remote for the living room TV and the closet doors were falling off. I called the office for help and never received a call back.
- Russell (8/5): Iffy at best. - Room was nice but dirty floors. The TV's were iffy at best couldn't change inputs on one of them and could fix the zoomed resolution on either TV. The bathroom door was not able to fully shut so it wouldn't lock. I reported the issue to the man at the main office to fix the TV's said he would send someone over no one showed.
Room did not come with trashcans at all kinda weird.
- Ray (10/5): Nice Condo - The Dunes Tower had gotten overbooked and we were moved to the Horizon next door and it was EXCELLENT
- Michael (8/5): Nice well worth the price . - Nice condo for the price .I was a little worried about the room because of the reviews. My wife's picky and i'm thrifty. My theory is your only staying there to sleeps do pool to swim. She was happy with it. Short walk to the beach . The room hat had a kitchenette a dining area and an apartment size refrigerator . It had one and a half baths. Pool was nice . It in a quiet area . We would stay here again .
- Verified traveler (2/5): very misleading - thought it was a regular hotel chain come to find out it was privately owned did not get clean towels not enough toilet paper I went for a vacation not to wash towels or to run and buy toilet paper. Balcony door didn't lock lights by bed on wall was busted. according to website was right on beach NOT TRUE had to walk about a block to the beach. Very Very Disappointed Had to go to a different location to register and to drop off keys what a shame it sucked.
- Todd (6/5): Good hotel --bad WiFi - The only problem was the WiFi it was very slow and would kick you off a lot. I needed to work while my kids were napping and it was almost impossible. The hotel was great, clean and great location
- Amy (10/5): Wonderful vacation - Had a great stay. The staff at Palmetto Vacation Rentals was great upon arrival.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Horrible experience - We did not end up with the room we payed for due to construction which was told to us the day before. The building we originally were suppose to stay in was still occupied with other guessed an was far more better than the one we received. The hospitality was awful, the hotel only gave us toilet an other necessities for one day only and you have to buy for the rest of the stay. They showed no accommodation due to the mishap of our room an that we were coming all the way from New Jersey. Overall this was the most horrible placement I've had.
- Michelle (4/5): Room smelled like smoke. - I saw a roach in the kitchen. The bed sheets were grainy. The drinking glasses were dirty. The room smelled like cigarette smoke. The office has very limited hours. The room decor was Very outdated. Will never go back or recommend.
- Deanna (10/5): Beautiful condo on the beach - For our vacation to Myrtle Beach, we looked for a condo with a kitchen and that was near the ocean & found the Ocean Forest Plaza resort. We anticipated just having a small room with a kitchenette, but we ended up getting the penthouse floor (which was a two story condo) with a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and 2 1/2 baths. It was very well maintained & very clean. The resort is well maintained. When we visited, they were in the process of remodeling. It had a nice indoor & outdoor pool also. The only thing I did not like about the resort was the parking garage. It is EXTREMELY narrow & easy to scrape your vehicle. We parked in the garage for one night, but found places to park on the street the rest of the time we stayed there.
- MARGARET (6/5): Our stay at Ocean Dunns - The room was clean, but there were no utensils, the fridge was very small not full size. We had to ask for more towels at the front desk that was three buildings away. Unlike we were told the beach was also three buildings away.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice close to the beach - We stayed in ocean dunes tower 2 room 6063. Overall it was a nice place. The only problems we had were the smoke detector over our bed kept going off at night for no reason also we paid an additional $150 for housekeeping that never showed up.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very comfortable - Very close to beach. Very comfortable. Lots of room in condo. Very clean.
- gigo (2/5): Gogo c - This is my worse hotel i stay will not send my dog to sleep here
