mia (6/5): it was fine. - bathroom was updated and clean room had a weird smell that was hard to get rid of even with all the windows open and we booked at the same time as someone else and when the property called to “fix” it they put us in a room that was less expensive for the same price and tried to make it seem like we were being upgraded by saying “we will give this room to you at no additional cost” when in reality it was an easy way to downgrade our room without us fussing over prices. would’ve appreciated more honest service, but regardless the room was fine.

Nick (10/5): I will be coming back to the Wanderlust Inn King Suite again. - It was clean and private. The treasure chest room felt like home and only 3 minutes away from all local attractions. The heat was subliminal. I don’t blame the property as that could’ve been operator error. The parking lot was tiny and really hard to maneuver in.

Marilyn (7/5): We went to the beach many times even though the weather was not real good. - I was very surprised that there is no maid service.We stayed 4 days and on the 3rd day I asked the Maintenance man for a mop so I could wash the floor because there was sand and I like to go barefoot.We never got a maid in our room once the whole 4 days.The room was cute, and I think I would stay there again. Comfy bed. PARKING< Every time we left it was like musical chairs, somebody would be in your spot when you got back because it is not assigned.

I was skeptical because it’s very low cost but it’s super clean, quiet, updated, the staff is very helpful and it’s right next to the beach.. not much to complain about The ONLY downside here is sometimes when it’s fully booked parking is a slight headache, but not so much so that it would ever deter me.

Very clean and I liked that it was all wooden floors and very good looking furniture that was comfortable, I got a one bedroom room which was awesome and apparently they have rooms with more bedrooms which I haven't seen yet. It's across the street from the beach which wasn't bad because it was pretty close, walking or driving. There's no staff on site but as soon as I called with a question they immediately answered the phone and were very helpful. Will definitely stay there again. There wasn't anything that I didn't like. It would be better if it was on the same side of the street as the beach, but that wasn't a big deal at all.

Bob (8/5): Perfect place to stay if you want to do some razor clamming. Literally a minute away from the beach. - The room comes with a bed in the main area along with another bed in a separate room. Has a couch, dining table w/ chairs, microwave, refrigerator, and a single cup coffee maker. Coffee, cups, sugar etc. are provided. Nice size TV, and I was able to sign into my Netflix account without any issues. The rooms were clean and came with plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows. I prefer thin bed pillows. It would be nice if the multiple pillows they provided came in at least two different thicknesses. The ones there are too big/thick.

My neighbor was extremely loud before 5am. There was mold in the coffee maker. I think it has made me sick. The hotel did not offer any form of compensation, but hopes that my next stay is better. (I will *never* stay here again.)

Foster (3/5): It just proves the old adage that you get what you pay for. - The housecleaning girl was very nice and helpful The bed was the most uncomfortable, lumpy, hard bed I ever tried laying on. Not one of the free bathroom items were stocked, no shampoo, conditioner or body wash. The clock on the wall not only had no minute hand it was a replica ships steering wheel and parts of it were broken off. Only one night did we get to actually park in front of our room.

It is close to any needs you might have. The parking. There are available parking spots, but they are in a small lot and a tight space. We had a van, and I would rather have had our small economy car for maneuvering!

The rooms were very clean, with no funny smells or overpowering cleaner smell. The master king-size bed was so soft and comfy it felt like I was sleeping on a cloud! The restroom was very nicely updated with beautiful fixtures and a vanity. The provided lotions, shampoos, and soaps smelled nice and worked well. The complementary coffees and teas were plentiful with enough cream and sugar for many cups. There were only 2 things that could have made the stay better! A small TV in the master would be nice. The only TV was in the front room with the double bed. The shower curtain made the shower feel very small when pulled. A round/curved shower curtain rod would make the shower more comfortable.

Kelsey (7/5): Decent location. Unsure how clean the rooms are - Location is great! For the price it’s a decent place to stay. We have stayed here a few times but this past time was not the best. One of the beds was covered in hair that was not ours. We had not even sat down on the bed yet and the online front desk staff told me I could find new sheets in the common area. None of the sheets fit the bed so we had to wash the dirty sheets with the free washer and drier. I get it was over the holiday so maybe someone wasn’t able to come out but it was a little trusting showing up to our paid room with hair all over the sheets. It made me question how well the rooms get cleaned.

I was offended that there wasn’t a real living person to check me in and I was offended that even though I had declared to booking.com that I had a pet and expected the price given to include my pet, I was texted/called on my 8 hr drive over that there would be an additional pet charge. I felt scammed. The property itself was in such disrepair that I swore Id never stay there again!

Michelle (10/5): We stay here every chance we get! Cute and cozy little spot to stay when we're looking to get away. - The rooms are always very clean and the beds are super soft and cushy. The location of the hotel is fantastic being right across from one of the main entrances to the beach and within walking distance to a few of our favorite food spots. The cleanliness and quality is consistent. The pillows are a bit too soft and don't offer much neck support, however it seems like that style pillow is the go to for hotels these days so I don't hold it against them in particular.

RJ (7/5): - Simple, no real complaints. The wrong door code was sent to me via the messages. The on call staff sent me a new one quick. The numerous pictures they list for the room type are clearly their best ones and didn’t stay in any of those rooms.
Baker (10/5): This was only the first of many such stays! I raved about it so much that my daughter and son in love are planning a wee - It was the nicest room I’ve ever had. The decor was fabulous and they have mood lighting (which was on) and the TV was already playing on a channel that was playing soft relaxing music. It was SO WELCOMING!!! Honestly nothing

Even though there’s no staff on site everything was available to us like extra towels, tea, - Beautiful rooms close to the beach very clean and I loved the book in the room that gave us so much information about things to do around the area. I have a bad back (fuse spine) and I didn’t find the beds to be too comfortable but my husband loved them and he slept like a baby.

Joseph (6/5): - Have stayed here for years and I'm sad to say the new owners have let this gem steadily decline. All customer service is handled by people speaking broken English. Front door knob fell off when we checked in, loose tiles, clogged sink and towels smell disgusting .When we checked in they gave us the wrong information and we tried checking in the the wrong room we gave the occupants a heart attack. Been my go to place forever. No longer.

Reginald (8/5): - Misleading ad, made it look like a cabin style place on the beach, but was a renovated motel. However, once in the room, it was very nice, spacious and clean. Main issue was the noise from outside, tons of loud talking and traffic noise from the main road in town. About a 10 minute walk to the beach.
