- Antoinne (1/5): Overall, the stay was normal like any other day I primarily stay in hotels throughout the whole year for work related re - The location was good for my work contract There were bugs in the unit along with to much bleach used on bedding sheets
- Morrison (5/5): Will not stay here again. - Location was good and easy to find. It definitely is showing its age. Advertised breakfast but when I went all that was there was an open container of milk, same with one bottle of juice, maybe half a bowl of what looked like Cheerios and a third of a pot of coffee. Also no staff around for check out. A note taped on the glass said to use phone to call for help, but the phone didn’t work.

- David (6/5): No frills stay for a great price -
- Bryan (8/5): Convenient bargain - There are no motels in Dawson Springs, therefore the two closest motels are in Princeton. One of them is this motel, which we stayed at several times in the past, but avoided for quite a while due to an unpleasant experience we had. Our regular motel was booked, we decided to give this one another chance, and overall it was a wise decision. No complaints, it’s your typical bargain motel in a small town, clean, affordable. Believe me, you can do much worse. We have.
- Duncan (7/5): Would stay there again - Towels are old and need to be replaced with larger bath towels
- JAMES (8/5): - Great location, clean. Great customer service. No handicap accessible rooms. No designated area to smoke my medical marijuana

- Bryan (5/5): The best of the few options available in the area - This is the nearest motel to Dawson Springs, KY, which has no motels. The other motel down the street from here was filthy when we stayed there, so we don't stay there anymore. For price and convenience, American Inn is pretty much it for us. On a previous visit here, we had an incident involving a motel employee, which led us to call Princeton police and file a report. That issue seems to have been resolved, so we will stay here again on future visits.
- Kyla (10/5): Exceptional -

- Dakotshia (6/5): Pleasant -
- Dolfinz28 (8/5): Good value - Good value and located next to restaurants. Breakfast was cheerios and 1 percent milk. Coffee and 1 juice option. Tub drain wouldn't hold water for a bath.
