- Hicham (8/5): Village désert - La vila verde est un petit village de vacances, tout est propre dans l’hébergement, ménage quotidien. Trop loin du centre ville de Santa Maria (30 minutes à pied) et à part la piscine aucune activité.
- Tuula (8/5): Rauhallinen hotelli - Hotelli on siisti, mutta tarvitsisi remonttia. Vastaanoton henkilökunta ystävällistä. Meillä oli studio, joka on riittävän suuri kahdelle. Hyvä parveke ja näkymä uima-altaalle. Erittäin rauhallinen alue. Hotelli sijaitsee noin 2 km Santa Marian kaupungista. Hotellista on ilmainen kuljetus kaupunkiin, mutta vain muutaman kerran päivässä, joten käytimme taksia (5 euroa/suunta). Alueella on myös supermarket, josta saa ruokatarpeita. Alue on erittäin suuri ja käyttöaste ehkä 20%, joten siellä on hieman outo tunnelma. Minulle suurin ongelma oli, että suihkusta ei tule lämmintä vettä. Näin myös torakoita kylpyhuoneessa.
- Vanessa (6/5): - The pool bar staff were so unprofessional. Ignored people and laughed at me when I asked if they had the Cape Verdean Malta drink. They were so rude. I have never seen such bad costuner service in Sal before. The front desk staff we very nice and polite however. The place needs upgrades as the bathroom is old but was clean, the bed was unconfortble though and very loud at any movement. The place is generally is good. The bad part is that I booked this layover to work but was unable because they had no wifi for 24 hours and offered no solutions.

Taksi maksoi 5€ Santa Mariaan ja lentokentälle 20€. Hotellilla oli uima-allas ja riittävästi aurinkotuoleja. Hotellialue oli vartioitu 24/7 ja muutenkin rauhallinen. Hotelli alueen kaupasta sai kaiken tarvitsevan. Plussaa oli myös ilmaiset hotellikuljetukset useaan eri paikkaan ja iha ok Wi-Fi yhteys (huoneessa oli oma Tp-link ja respassa oma Wi-Fi )
- Johan (8/5): Nice and quiet - Nice and quiet hotel. Friendly staff. The room was spacious and clean. Pool Area was calm and easy to get sunbeds. Sunbeds at Ponta Preta Beach also included. Quiet in the evenings, no entertaiment. We went to Santa Maria forcrestaurant every day.
- Olli (10/5): Hotel for active traveller - If you dont want to be a part of a huge all-inclusive resortlife, this is your choice. Cozy, well-working apartment with nice pool area. Room was spacious, clean and functional. Perfect with kids. Quiet area and 20 minutes walk to Santa Maria or 5 euro taxi drive (5min)

- Kossi (4/5): - Overall, this is actually a pretty decent option. However, there is also some false advertising. The good: it is very close to Santa Maria and they have free shuttles to take you there. The property is huge with a beach close by and a grocery store on site. The apartment was huge with plenty of space, AC everywhere and very quiet. If you book a tour, they will not have an issue finding you for pick up. The food at the restaurant was really tasty. Once on site, the staff was very nice and helpful for the most part. The bad: they advertise free shuttle for the airport but they did not answer the three emails I sent prior to my arrival so I had to pay for the Taxi to the resort and although I requested a shuttle for departure, I had to pay for that too. Wi-fi barely works in the rooms although they advertise Wi-fi everywhere. They do not respond to emails. At my arrival, I was struggling with my bags and the staff who was walking me to my room just watched me struggled. I will not stay there again. I do not recommend. The beds are rock hard as well and there is no comforters or blanket for the beds.

Hotellihuoneeni oli hyvä ja siisti, kuvat internetissä vastasivat todellisuutta. Ilmainen internetyhteys vain hotellin vastaanotossa. Hotellilta lähtee säännöllisesti ilmainen edestakainen kuljetus Santa Marian keskustaa, jossa paljon ravintoloita ja pitkä uimaranta. Taksimatka maksaa viisi euroa. Bikini-ranta viiden minuutin kävelymatkan päässä hotellilta. Hyvä ja monipuolinen ranta-alue. Hinta-laatusuhde oli hyvä.

This is a place for no fuss people whose expectations are proportionate to what they pay! Only had breakfast with our stay but the offer is very reduced, had to order pretty much the same thing every day. - Heikki (8/5): Kohtuuhintainen majoitus - Parin kilometrin päässä Santa Mariasta. Ilmainen kyyditys hotellin ja Santa Marian välillä kahdeksan kertaa päivässä. Taksi 3e/suunta. Myös kävellen ainoastaan yksi pitkä 2km suora, joten sitäkin tuli tehtyä silloin tällöin, tuuli vaan on melko raju aukiolla ajoittain. Kävelymatkan päässä marketti, josta budjettimatkailija hakee itselleen välipalat. Hotellin sinänsä ok aamiaiseen kyllästyimme parin kerran jälkeen, joten lähimarketti oli kätevä tässäkin mielessä. Lähellä myös jokunen ravintola. Yleisesti ottaen menimme kumminkin mieluiten Santa Mariaan syömään, jossa Barracudasta muodostui suosikkimme. Sijaitsee aivan rannalla laiturin lähettyvillä, suht edullinen ja todella maukasta seafoodia, 7e nimikkopasta oli todella hyvää! Hotelli todella tilava ja sinänsä ihan siistikuntoinen. Muurahaisia oli keittiössämme melkoinen armeija, kunnes siivoojat ilmeisesti myrkyttivät ne. Voisin valita majoituksen uudelleenkin, mutta en valitse, koska itse Sal saari ei tarjoa nähtävää muutamaa päivää pidemmäksi ajaksi, joten uusintaa ei ole luvassa. Hyvin kumminkin viihdyimme tuon pariviikkoisen mm. aivan vieressä olevalla tenniskentällä (2e/h omin varustein, 5e/h mailoineen ja palloineen) pelaillen.

- Mark (8/5): Preisleistung passt - Wir brauchten kurzfristig ein Zimmer für eine Nacht. Die Jungs an der Rezeption waren sehr hilfsbereit. Das Apartment war sehr groß. In der Anlage war alles was man benötigt. Supermarkt, Restaurant, Pool, Bars!

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Erg rustig, ruime kamers, schoon. Bed was erg hard (maar aangegeven en toen werd er een topper geregeld - fijn). Santa Maria is erg dichtbij en makkelijk te komen. Ontbijt was goed - simpel maar lekker. Lunchen zou ik niet bij het hotel doen. Avondeten 1 keer gedaan en dat was erg lekker, maar eigenlijk altijd in Santa Maria gedaan of zelf gekookt
- Elin (6/5): Fin plass, men dårlig helhetsopplevelse - Utrolig stort og fint område. Desverre var ikke rommene like bra. De var store og fine, men vi opplevde kaldt vann i dusjen, maur på rommet og dårlig renhold. Servicen i resepsjonen var heller ikke særlig, de glemte blandet annet å si booke massasje timen min som jeg booket gjennom de.. Ellers er Sal en utrolig fin plass, men ville bodd nærmere stranden. Ser ut som det er høyere standard på hotellene der.

- Sam (2/5): Problems from as soon as we arrived - Arrived first of all to be told that we didn't have a booking and they couldn't find anything. Eventually found it after having to walk into their back office to see what was happening (as it's a bit worrying when they leave with your phone and passports for 15 mins with no explanation). Room was basic but was decent for the price paid. The food at the resort is terrible, from live bugs found in the breakfast cereal, advertised menus for the €15 dinner deal for which much of what was advertised was not available including the main dishes. When questioning the staff they just said they didn't have it. A lot of cold food that was meant to be hot which was worrying. The staff seemed to not know what they were doing and were very puzzled by such simple tasks. Was meant to be pass on a message for our pickup transfer. Which to be fair would have been useless as that was wrong but that's another issue. The room was cleaned daily however the floor was often left wet with dirty water, the door and shutters to the ground floor balcony that were always closed on exit were left open and unlocked when we returned each day. This was my first and will be my first and last visit to Cape Verde.
- Lola (6/5): Excellent Hotel With Drawbacks - Great hotel complex with hardworking cleaning/catering staff. Rooms (they are suites) are excellent with every cooking and washing facility available.The admin are a nightmare though. No water in our block at all for entire day (06.00-20.00), but no apologies/explanations or even concern that no one could wash or use toilets. It was impossible to get lunch one day because neither of the cafes had been provided with most of their food. On checking out there was an attempt to charge me 6 Euros for a call which clearly cost 50 Cents. No apology, just a surly manager saying "mistake" Wi-Fi hardly worked at all because "sometimes it doesn't work". The TV gradually lost all the English channels within a few days, but no one fixed it. The bus into town was frequently full so a lot of people would have to wait - wouldn't it be better to have a hourly service? Could easily be really good but someone needs to give the more senior members of staff a kick up the rrrrrr..
- Paul (8/5): A decent option if on a budget - Fine for a low budget option. Bit quiet but doing their best to put some life into the place.
- Eliana (2/5): Horrible! - Room dirty, all inclusive dont exist. The lunch ist just snacks in the pool bar, the dinner regular opcion menu not buffet but whitout tast.. bad quality.. pool dirty and bad service.. open bar you need paid for.some drinks and just we tell you finish you drink.. i not recommend
- Verified traveler (6/5): Get what you pay for - Very quiet pool area was a plus. Small hot water heater makes showers difficult. Brown water not fun bus to Santa Maria. Very nice add on Beds are very uncomfortable.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Great apartments - This has recently reopened as a hotel so was a little quiet when I visited (October 2015). It appears to be mainly timeshare apartments. The apartments are well furnished with all facilities to make meals yourself. The pool is good with a pool bar where you can get breakfast and lunch. There is also a restaurant a few mins walk from reception where you can get a great evening meal. There's also a small supermarket on site. A taxi was €3 into Santa Maria (bars,restaurants,beaches etc).
- martin (6/5): aguahotels. - The rooms & the pool were very nice but it is an apartment complex in the middle of nowhere & when I went there was no restaurant or any real amenities.
