• No (8/5): - Very disappointing the receptionist was focus at the another people, the touristic office the men still the money for the price tours., the room single was dirty an de tv don't work., the women rooms was the same dirty., the pool have bacterial very sad place for the money. The good thing was the breakfast was good because they have a conversion that days and they focus ONLY FOR THE PEOPLE FROM THE CONVENTION.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Old and overpriced - The hostel seems to be very old and not very clean. The floor was slippery, as if it wasn’t cleaned properly. Price is too expensive for such low level of comfort. Staff are somewhat friendly, some were helpful. But overall we wouldn’t come back to this hostel.

• Verified traveler (8/5): nice hostel close to the airport - It’s close to “stadium” metro stop and it is easy to reach from the international airport. I spent there a night because I had to wait 13 hours in the airport. The hostel’s staff is very helpful and friendly. The room and its bathroom were nice. Free breakfast is a very good thing.

• LORENZO (8/5): Buena opción para evitar hoteles caros - Me sorprendió gratamente el conjunto de las instalaciones, especialmente la enorme piscina con su jardín. Como aspecto negativo decir que el cuarto de baño es pequeño, con una ducha muy básica.

• Imran (6/5): Snoring mate - The guy whom i was sharing the room was snoring too loud and the other Aussie was upset in the morning and has to complaint to the receptionist. No internet in room.. no iron.. literally there was nothing except Towel and Soap.. well price is cheap as well.

WIFI service is not available in the dormitory room

• Blossie (8/5): Close to the metro - Pros: location is very near the metro and airport; staff are all nice and friendly, they will even give you tips around Dubai; they have luggage storage; quiet surrounding; rooms are cleaned daily Cons: breakfast is only serve from 7AM-9AM;
• Ahmed (6/5): Average hostel - The place wasn’t up to the expectations. The room was below average; beds weren’t so comfortable and no amenities. You have to walk a distance to reach your room when in breakfast or gong to the pool.
• Yetunde (8/5): Lovely Stay. - my stay was lovely, receptionist were friendly . was able to get an early check-in. they had daily cleaning services. I spent only two nights and I enjoyed my stay. it was close to d metro made everything simple. & with Lulu supermarket next to metro all ur comfort requirement juat a step away.
• Andy (4/5): You get what you pay for. - 1. The hotel staff is okay. They are fairly nice. 2. The internet is pretty much non-existent. The speed and connection both are terrible. 3. They don't give you new towels every day. You must ask everytime. 4. The hot water runs out pretty quickly. 5. You don't want to use the bathroom with barefoot. The floor is kind of gross.

• BenHo (2/5): Will not stay here again. - The place is hard to find. It is an apartment on the 2nd floor converted to and 20 bunk bed hostel. There is no sign board showing you the direction, even nothing on the apartment's door. I thought I was knocking some random house's door. The whole place is dirty with many things lying around such as buckets, bottles, food, house cleaning stuff etc. There were another 2 guys living short term in my room so the room was full of there things (suitcases, fridge, hangers, chairs, clothes, underwear, dirty shoes and socks, food, noodles, soy sauce, bowls, utensils, etc). The "bathroom" is a removable shower corner in the laundry room. No common area. No kitchen. No breakfast. Upon checking in I was informed that I have to deposit 50 Dhs for the key and will get it back after checkout, laundry is 20 Dhs, luggage storage after checkout is $1 per hour (so if your flight is in the evening like mine, prepare to pay $10 or more).
• Dilawaiz (2/5): i will not recommend any one to stay there, dirty - i will not recommend any one to stay there, difference is very small and best choice could be IBIS hotel near by similar prices but atleast international standard,

• Nkosi (6/5): Affordable, Conveniently Located - YHAD is close to all necessities, the metro, Lulu hypermarket and the Airport(DXB) terminal 1 and 3. YHAD Staff is very helpful for those who want to do activities.

• Lozzie (6/5): Cheap and useful - The room was not as good as photo on web. Had real trouble contacting them re late arrival as website corrupt and they did not answer email. Room did not have any lockable storage, all locks broken. However the staff kindly looked after a small suitcase in reception while I went out for the day. Staff helpful and helped organise two tours when mine was last minute cancelled. Breakfast substantial. Would think twice about staying again as last minute I found alternative accommodation for not much more than advertised price.

• Verified traveler (6/5): A bad choice - The location was good as it was near the metro station. But the hostel was not very comfortable. wifi was available only in the lobby. Therefore it was difficult. Overall I was not satisfied with the stay.
• Praveen (6/5): Over all Ok - Stay was good but there is no room service and No veg food, drinking water you need to buy, Good things close to metro and Lulu hypermarket. You can get all type of food, shoping and close to metro station save your lots of money on teavling. Sharing accomdation is fun to leave with different country's people and add lots of friend.
• Verified traveler (8/5): First time stay at youth hostel - This was my first stay at the hostel, I normally stay in hotels but due to most hotels were fully booked I had to go to this hostel, to start with hotels.com charged me for the first night, even thought the call centre assured me no money will be taken at the time of the booking, I will only pay when I arrive at the hostel, reception staff did not have a record of my booking I was sent across to the other side of the building to the admin office to clarify, I was then told hotel.com already charged me for the first night and I need to pay for the next 5 nights. Not sure why I was charged for the first night, anyways I paid the rest of the amount. I must admit price was quite reasonable. Room was quite nice, actually I was not expecting this much comfort with the good size TV and the air con, although shower did not match the standard Bit disappointed not having the kettle in the room, I have to go down to reception area to buy a cup of tea, often cafeteria was unattended (I was told it meant to be 24hours service) reception staff has to shout out to get the guys back in their, I was told most of the time cafeteria staff busy doing admin work I even seen them cleaning the rooms and then running to the cafeteria to serve me. Was not happy with the Internet service, you must pay for each device and only available for 1 or 3 days package. Staff was friendly and polite, hostel itself was very clean, breakfast was just about ok, metro was only 5 mins walk, I will stay again
• Hitoshi (10/5): Good stay - That was comfort enough to stay at the hostel because the stuff were so supportive about everything. They serve breakfast as well. There is a supermarket nearby the hostel, so you can get anything from there.
• Rajeev (8/5): Location Advantage - I am life member of youth hostels international and seen many hostels worldwide. This hostel is also quite good except check in timing. Free breakfast comes with your price. Easy to commute in Dubai from here as Metro stadium and Bus station is just 2 min walk. The Lulu Hypermarket is (opens till 12 midnight) is quite close so no problem for food and water. Lulu market offers range of food in food court in okay price. Overall, i would rate this 4 star facility. Yes 8 KM away from Dubai International Terminal 1 and 3 and few KM from terminal 2.

• gloreal (4/5): Fair - Fair... i never knew my reservation is a 4 guys per room kinda reservation.
• Marc (6/5): You get what you pay for - You get what you pay for: it's cheap, it's very near two different Metro stops (and indeed the airport, taxi cost just over 20 dirhams to go directly to Terminal 3), they offer breakfast in the price and the rooms aren't too bad. It's probably the worst atmosphere and in general vibe/service you'll get in any hostel due to the language barrier, a lot of old Eastern men lingering around, jibber-jabbering away. You don't feel all that welcome there but if, like me, you're there just for a cheap bed, it's perfectly OK. The breakfast is VERY Eastern, i.e. I personally couldn't find a single thing to eat, everything looked very... strange... so I just had coffee (I tried the cornflakes which were the worst I've ever had with watery milk). But again, I didn't come here because they offer breakfast, most hostels don't. The shower in our room was VERY small, I'm extremely slim but it was still uncomfortable almost. All in all... I'd stay again, but only if I was spending my day AND night out in Dubai rather than at the hostel.
