Guest Reviews
- Lisa (10/5): - I’ve stayed at Norma Dan several times over the years I’m never disappointed
- Justin (10/5): - Good
- Sheila (10/5): - The rooms and refrigerator were larger than some motels very clean , beds slept wonderfully they have balconies. That is the main reason that I reserved it. Our room wasn’t the greatest for the balcony view because it was on the bottom floor, but that was OK the next time I will request one on the second or third floor. The pool areas are fantastic.
- Katherine (10/5): - The staff were very nice
- Harold (10/5): - Vintage, family owned.
- Juanita (4/5): - Outdated
- Robert (10/5): - I loved the entire stay. Beds, grounds, walkable to attractions. So very clean!!!
- Harold (10/5): - Wonderful, family run establishment.
- Paul (8/5): - Clean and very friendly staff
- James (10/5): - Friendly and professional
- Tracy (10/5): We will be back !!!!! - Very comfortable beds extremely amazing water pressure. Highly recommend. Amazing housekeeping. Very friendly office clerks . Extremely quite!!!!!!
- allen (10/5): Always great - Great time and as always great place to stay. We had left a stuffed animal in the room and they called before we left town so we went and retrieved animal for the great grandson. A hidden gem always a pleasure to stay. Home away from home.
- Lauren (10/5): - Pleasant family owned property located right on the Parkway. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff were readily available to help with anything needed. My husband and I have found our new go to spot in Pigeon Forge!
- Christopher (4/5): - It wasn't as great as the rating. The breakfast was disappointing. Bagels, frozen waffles, and hard boiled eggs. No fresh fruit and the coffee wasn't very good.
- Melissa (10/5): - Enjoyed the outdoor pool and friendly staff.
- Jerry (10/5): - Stayed 3 nights room service was great very close to shopping and dining clean and comfortable excellent service
- Brandon (10/5): - Like the other reviews here, we are very pleased with our stay, especially the staff at the front desk who were SO kind and helpful with everything. I will offer a few things though just so people know: the parking lot and grass are a little messy with trash [old receipts and cups] and Canada geese poop; the wifi signal is good but the internet is slow. Still, if you can look past that, it's a great place to stay for location, price, clean rooms, and graet staff!
- Sandy (10/5): Fantastic motel with 1st class service! - First time staying here and will be back! We come to Pigeon Forge often and not sure why we have never heard of this gem of a motel. Would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Pigeon Forge.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Average - Shower was so disappointing. Very small and not strong pressure. Outside is outdated. Outside pool was not clean alot of bugs and hot tub was nice but again old and needs updated. Breakfast okay but not a big selection. People very friendly and room very clean. Beds were soft. It was just okay. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.
- Valerie (10/5): - loved everything about hotel, will return to stay
- Michele (10/5): Family Owned and Operated - The staff were down to earth and so friendly and helpful!
- Eric (10/5): - Nothing to complain about. I have been around the country and outside of the U.S. I have stayed in several hotels and this by far is the best value I have found! It is not close. Exceeded expectations in every category. Will be back!!
- Donna (10/5): Great stay everytime! - Comfortable beds and clean room equal a great vacay! Very pleased with Norma Dan, stayed here multiple times while in Pigeon Forge. Staff are friendly as well.
- Chris (8/5): - When you look at this property it's cute, clean, quite and if you're on a budget it's not overpriced.
- Valerie (8/5): - lil outdated but clean and convenient. Pool and hottub was nice
- Tina (10/5): - The rooms, were clean. The bed comfortable. This was a family owed business not a box hotel. The people working were very friendly and helpful.
- Laura (8/5): - Loved it there
The hot tub is a little loud in the room and wish we had a king bed. But a great place to stay
- Diana (10/5): - Great
- Misty (10/5): - It was amazing
- Tyrese (6/5): - Staff is super friendly. The rooms were clean. The motel has a dated feel.
- Debra (10/5): - The coffee pot didn't work, and the water pressure needs a boost, but everything else was great! The staff couldn't have been nicer!
- Matt (8/5): - Friendly staff
- Marsha (10/5): - This is the best hotel in Pigeon Forge. Super nice staff, very clean rooms and just a quiet, relaxing place to stay. Will definitely stay again..
- Verified traveler (10/5): A charming gem in the heart of Pigeon Forge - My family and I recently enjoyed a wonderful four-night stay at the Norma Dan Motel in Pigeon Forge and we were absolutely delighted with our experience. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming place to stay that captures the classic charm of Pigeon Forge, look no further.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The check-in process was quick and easy, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay, always ready with a suggestion for a local attraction or a cheerful "hello."
Our room was spotlessly clean and surprisingly spacious. The beds were comfortable (a bit too soft for my hubby) but felt great after a long day of exploring. We appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including a mini-fridge and microwave.
What truly sets the Norma Dan apart is the feeling of genuine care you experience. It's clear that the owners and staff take pride in their motel and go the extra mile to ensure their guests have a pleasant stay. It felt like stepping back into a time when hospitality was truly personal.
My son loved both the indoor and outdoor pools and the geese and ducks towards the back of the property. Will definitely stay again on our next trip. 5/5 stars!
- Gertrude (10/5): - Poor Wi Fi goes on and off all the time.

- David (10/5): 3 day weekend - We had an amazing visit to Pigeon Forge. From the time we checked in until we left. Judy and the other lady made us feel so welcome.Gave us a map of the hotel. - courtney (10/5): 2nd Great Stay. Will come again. - Love the Norma Dan Hotel. In Pigeon Forge near the end of the parkway, so it close to Dollywood and Gatlinburg. The rooms come with a microwave and mini fridge, so our Vegan traveler was still able to have access to familiar foods when we couldn’t find something during our outings. Since it’s close to the end of the parkway, the traffic dies down at night and it’s very quiet and able to sleep. The room was cleaned every day and new towels given. Such a rarity now a days. This is my 2nd stay and I’ll securely stay again.
- PETER (10/5): Pigeon Forge is fun. - Great trip will stay here again. Very friendly people.
- Benjamin (10/5): - We have stayed many different places and this was the quietest place we have ever stayed. The bed was very comfortable after our 14 mile hike in one day. We enjoyed the hot tub. We didn’t eat the breakfast but went out for buffet styles. Our last morning the fire alarm went off and woke us up. Turns out there was dust that burned off of a fireplace that set it off. Even with that, we would still go back for the quiet nights and the decent price.
- Sharon (10/5): - Friendly staff. Let us know to watch for bear sightings.
- Michael (10/5): Amazing place - It was great
- Patsy (10/5): - Everything was great. Fantastic staff.

- Tamara (10/5): - Affordable and pleasant. Would stay here again
- Elizabeth (10/5): - The woman that checked us in was super friendly, the room & common areas were very clean. We didn't want to fight traffic and there were quite a few choices for supper winthin walking distance. Great place to stay!
