- Kylie (10/5): Exceptional - Location is great, a couple minutes away from the waterfront. Great for a stroll or a run. And I love the combined hostel and cafe concept! It’s a very comfortable and welcoming space. I enjoyed sitting by the window, drinking Turkish coffee, reading my book or chatting with staff and fellow guests. Staff were really wonderful, always making sure I had enough coffee or water or a hot chocolate late at night. I had the opportunity to chat to one of the hostel managers Mustafa a lot during my stay who was very sweet and taught me a lot about Istanbul people and culture. Highly recommend Juliet Rooms&Kitchen if you’re wanting to stay in the beautiful Kadikoy/Moda area and meet new people.

- Julien (7/5): Quite district. Poor air conditioning in mixed room. - Warm welcome and kindness to listen/support/advice. Noisy air conditioning which doesn't even seem to work. Bathroom is hardly dry because of that. You end sleeping with open windows directly connected to the terrace.

The staff were polite and friendly, the atmosphere was calm and cozy, and everything was clean and well-organized. The food was also of good quality. Overall, everything was just the way I liked, and I felt very comfortable during my stay. If I ever come back to Turkey, I will definitely choose this place again. Thanks to the lovely team! 🌟

Bad air conditioning, heavy air in the room No safe place for luggage storage, if you request them to keep your luggages after check out, they show you a common place where any person passing thru the street can come in and steal your luggages. Staff: Nice gentlemen in check in, rude woman in check out.
- Kinnunen (9/5): Superb - The location is amazing, the hostel is right by the Moda park which is gorgeous. Such a chill and relaxing area with bunch of little cafes and restaurants nearby, it's very beautiful! The hostel is also very clean. The staff wasn't very welcoming, barely interacting with me as I checked in. When I checked out they also didn't seem to have luggage storage but they told me I could just leave my luggage in the entrance area, near the cafe counter which didn't seem like the safest thing to do but they were still there when I came back. There isn't really a common area where you can meet people so it's not the most social hostel and it's located downstairs from the cafe so the sounds from the cafe can be a bit disruptive.

- Jill (6/5): Needs work - The ac did not work in the hotel and the rooms were very stuffy and hot. There were cockroaches in the public restrooms and the hotel was not in a clean/taken care of condition. Food was good as well as service.
- Anton (6/5): Pleasant - Overall, I had a comfortable stay and found it to be decent value for the price. The location is great, the room was clean, and the housekeeping staff was friendly and accommodating. However, the rest of the staff didn’t come across as very welcoming, possibly due to a language barrier. Although the bathroom was clean, it is in serious need of renovation. The lockers were dusty and lacked locks, so I had to leave my belongings on the bed.
- Jacexxx13 (8/5): Nice location and people, but hotel is bit outdated - The staff was very nice and super friendly. The hotel is located close to the park and it's relatively quiet. It is a small hotel and feels like a cosy place. The room was not really worth the price. The bed was hard and not comfortable, the bathroom is outdated and smells a bit and the breakfast was not fantastic. It was not bad but I slept in better hotels for similar price in the Moda area.

- Jennifer (8/5): Very good - Very friendly snd helpful staff. Really nice location right by the water. Nice and quiet surrounding. Towels and slippers included which was a nice touch for a hostel. Air conditioning didn't work and it was very warm the night I stayed.

- Enesa (10/5): Exceptional - Best hostel ever! Good location, calm garden, delicious food, polite staff. Cleaning lady from Turkmenistan is best- so kind. Beds and bathroom were cleaned every day, towels changed every day.
- Copipast (4/5): Smell in the room, very bad Wi-FI, old facilities and lack of cleanliness - Hotel located in great area of Istanbul — that quite part of Moda district, so close to the sea embankment, few minutes to the bar district. And the next thing that was good is bed itself but not the room. A lot of things. First — that stinky smell from bathroom that was all over the room, because bathroom is literally inside the room separated only by glass wall. It was really bad. Next — lack cleanliness of bathroom, and disappointing conditions of the bath facilities; shower was showering walls more than me because it's old. Next one — Wi-Fi. I thought that in 2025 connection itself and its stability is must. But not here. Yes there are few networks discoverable but their speed is almost zero. And finally — unfortunately I didn't have that experience of friendly staff.
- Léa (9/5): Superb - I stayed in the women dorm (6 beds) with comfortable bed, and great en-suite shower. The staff was super welcoming and accomodating. It's also super convenient to have a café/restaurant directly on site, so you don't have to leave if you're tired! The neighborhood is very quiet and right by the Bosphorus - perfect if you're looking for some calm.

- Claire (8/5): Bien - Bon séjour dans l'ensemble : personnel sympathique mais trés peu anglophone, chambre propre hormis une forte odeur de tabac froid assez désagréable en arrivant...(s'est estompée par la suite en laissant la fenêtre ouverte). Salle de bain ok quoique un peu usée par endroit (joins de la douche, plinthes...) le gros point fort de l'hotel est sa situation : à la fois proche d'un endroit très animé mais dans une rue très calme. Pas de formule petit déjeuner inclus
- Gyanadeepa (8/5): Very good - The property is located in a nice area, a short walk away from the promenade and the markets nearby. The dorm bed is comfortable, with storage drawers and bed light provided. The cafe has various selections of food and drinks. The staff is friendly and cooperative. My flight was late at night, and they were ok with me checking out late with no additional fees. For the room tariff, it's good though. The bathroom cleanliness could be better. A faint smell persisted even after cleanup. There's no sunlight into the rooms, but unless you are spending the entire time in the room it's ok. I was mostly out during the day and only came back to sleep. The train station is a bit far off, so that will involve some walking everytime you need to catch the metro.

- Dmitry (10/5): Great place - Stayed just one night between my flights. Was really delighted by the hospitality of Mr. Ibrahim, his warm welcome and extending my stay after check-out time. The people working at the hotel are really nice. The neighbourhood is calm ( actually it is cul-de-sac, cars don't pass), there are no noisy bars and restaurants nearby. But still, it is just a few minutes walk to all the buzz of Moda district. Also, about 100 meters to the seashore and the promenade. Will definitely stay again.

- Firat (9/5): I had a pleasant stay at this recently built, well facilitated and clean accommodation. Thank you. - °Exceptionally kind and considerate staff, °Everyday fresh showers & foot towels (without a prior request), °Cozy and aesthetic interiors, °The building is a recent and purpose built structure. Therefore, earthquake resistant, °Good coffee (way better than so called "Ucuncu nesil kahveci"ler), °Lockers (locks are provided for free of charge), °Located in a residential area with rare-to-find and decent post war facades. °I can't say I didn't like but some may not prefer the fact that the dorm room is placed in the basement floor with screened and small windows. Therefore the room has no daylight. However comfortable and well facilitated. The lounge area upstairs (the lobby zone) is exceptionally comfortable and welcoming. I spent my free time there and enjoyed my three nights stay very much.

- Ioana (10/5): Exceptional - This place takes you by total surprise, with its amazing atmosphere and lovely setting in a green street with a lovely terrace and restaurant in the heart of Kadikoy and right next to Marmara Sea. The room was big enough, each bed had curtains and the shared bath was clean. The staff is very friendly and tries to help out with everything! What a great find!

Latches on the secure drawers were mostly broken, which wasn’t an issue as the hostel was quiet but when busier this may be an issue for future guests. Excited to return!
- Zulfiqar (8/5): - My stay here was pleasant and enjoyable. The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful, especially Ibrahim. The property is in a very good location just a block from the water and recreational area. The food was very good and the cooks made delicious meals. It was about 15 minutes to all the areas and was situated in a the quiet area of Moda. Another pleasant surprise were all the cats who were around the hotel. Very friendly and adorable creatures. The only thing lacking was an area to watch tv and relax In and it would have been nice to have a kitchen to use to make food in. My only other recommendation for improvement would be to have a water cooler or providing some daily water for guests. There is a convenience store about a block away which you can go and get water from. The location was great and the bustling area of cento Kadikoy is just 15-20 minutes away. 🙂
- Triantafyllos (9/5): Great stay! Quiet, and with a cute café and nice staff - Nice facilites, but most importantly great little coffee area, with excellent and very friendly stuff. The dorms (hostel) part was in the bottom floor (-1) but temperature, humidify etc were excellent! Soap, towel and slippers were provided. Bed was really comfy. Curtains for privacy were EXCELLENT. And many hangers for your clothes, and drawers were a nice addition! Beds and bathroom were cleaned every day, towels changed every day. Regarding the location: quiet and next to the seaside for walks. Nothing special. Maybe the bathroom has seen better days, but overall was clean. Also one day we were left without tissues and toilet paper. Coffee and tea were decently priced. But found the food a bit expensive. So I ate mostly out.

- Maisie (10/5): Beautiful & peaceful stay. - Lovely staff, location and feel. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The terrace is a beautiful area to chill or work and hang with the cats! My only issue was the Wi-Fi could be laggy at times, although it mostly worked well.

- Philipp (10/5): Very relaxed atmosphere - This place is very chilled and has a lovely cafe-like atmosphere. It has got great and all the facilites you need and is super clean. Also the staff is taking good care to make you feel comfortable. The location is perfect as it is right next to the water side, which invites for taking a relaxed walk. It's also just a short walking distance to the busy areas. I also got breakfast at the restaurant that is attached to the hostel, which was delicious. And they make great hot chocolate. Definitely worth staying here for a few days! Everything was great!

High quality bed linen and bathroom towels. good amenities. Excellent location and 15 minutes walk to the seafront and central Moda. Lovely terrace area and quiet. Highly recommended. Better choice for breakfast; some simple things like croissant or bread or toast, rather than large portions/meals.

Unbelievable value for money, the room I was in was relatively (by hostel standards) quiet, the bed very clean, with a [working!!] socket nearby and curtains for privacy – you don't see these very often! The neighborhood is quiet. The staff is amazing – they helped me with everything I need, and I witnessed how they helped my roommates too. I was very eager to award a well-earned 10 but there is one thing that should be improved: the shower room, at least where I stayed, was well past its prime. :/

- Verified traveler (8/5): 목욕탕에 곰팡이 제거하고 실리콘 작업을 하고 fan을 더 큰것을 설치힌다면 쾌적할것입니다. - 주택가라 조용하고 10분만 걸면 모다해변을 만납니다. 수건은 매일 체인지 해줍니다. 배. 메트로. 버스. 트램 모든 교통 수단이 20분 거리에 있습니다. 지하방에 에어콘디션이 작동했다면 덜 습했을겁니다. 나갈때 쯤 말했더니 작동했습니다. 꼭 상태를 말해야 정상 작동 됩니다. 중앙 콘트롤 시스템 같습니다. 매트리스는 좀 푸욱 꺼집니다. 세ㅌㄱ. 주ㅂ이 없습니다. 레s t 랑 운영을 하는데 숙박하는 사람들에게 디스카운트 없습니다. 잠시 쉴 거실은 없습니다.

- PINAR (10/5): Çok tatlı ve merkezi bir otel - Beklediğimden çok çok daha iyiydi, her şey harikaydı. Personel çok güzel yüzlü ve yardımsever. Oda tertemizdi ve ihtiyacım olabilecek her şey vardı. Konumu da çok merkezi, her yere yürüdük. Bundan sonraki seyahatlerimde hiç düşünmeden tercih edeceğim. Teşekkürler!

- Joseph (5/5): Passable - The location is good and close to a supermarket, the sea and park, and a convenience shop. It appears to be in an upmarket area. It was quiet and the other guests were respectful. The cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. I think they focus more on the café side of the business than the hostel side, which feels more like an afterthought. There was, as far as I'm aware, no kitchen, nor fridge, for those staying in the hostel. I had a plug at the back of my bed but for whatever reason my plug, with an adaptor designed for the sockets in turkey, would not insert. The bedside light had fallen off the wall, leaving a chipped wall and the light just dangling. The bathroom was adequate, but could have been cleaner. The staff were reasonable enough,but as said I think they care more for the café side. Unfortunately check-in started at 14:00 but I was asked to come back an hour later as cleaning was still ongoing, I think if this is a regular thing they should push the check-in time further back as it was frustrating to turn up only to be told that I couldn't check-in yet

- Basam (9/5): Superb - Location is perfect, it's literally 100 meters from Moda Beach and Park, and about 10 minutes walk to the central market area. It's very quiet and peaceful, yet not far away from the main market area. There is a beautiful library situated at the beach, which is a few minutes walk from the hotel. The staff is really welcoming, polite and courteous, and I saw them always available even during late night.

The bathroom would have deserved a thorough cleaning, but it is acceptable

- Arslan (8/5): - Otel genel anlamıyla güzel, çalışanlar ilgili. Kahveleri ikram ettiler, çok tatlı, teşekkür ederiz. Ancak yatak çok eski tip yaylı yatak. Çok konforsuzdu, belimiz ağrıyarak uyandık. Diğer kişi dönerken yatakta salınıyor insan, aşırı hareketli ve yaylı. Yatakların yenilenmesi gerek.

- Seda (8/5): Yeterli - Başını bir yere sokup güvenle uyudun mu diye sorarsanız evet. Çalışanlar güler yüzlü ve ilgili, tamam. Yataklar eski, yenileniyorlarmış, şu an kaldığım hostel konseptli odaya misafir kabul etmeseler olurmuş bence. Sabun gibi minik şeylerde eksiklik vardı, giderilebilir bu eksikler. Fena değil, yine kalır mıyım, mecbur kalmazsam, kalmam.
