Desiree (8/5): - Location is great and you’re able to walk downtown. We arrived on a Sunday and the hotel restaurant (which is quite good!) closed really early. We walked downtown to try to find something open and everything was closed. So not necessarily the fault of this place just a bad timing.

The bathroom door is too close to toilet and makes the room uncomfortably small. Not able to control the room temperature. The room was cold. We were offered a plug in heater but only one available place to place it in room. Blew a fuse using it. Extension cord provided but could not run on it and would cut out. Air vent blowing from ceiling area was loud and cold. Blows onto one of the beds. Fans running outside in lot were loud and the noise very noticeable in the room. Microwave did not function properly.

My room was super clean thanks to wonderful housekeeping staff! it was cozy with a great view of the mountains. I used the sauna on and off all night- it was in great shape and was private in the basement without being scary. had a nice breakfast at Gabriella's with a super friendly fast informed helpful server.

Rob (8/5): Good place to stay if skiing Red Mnt. - Very good location in downtown Rossland. Near several good restaurants. Kitchette w/fridge was useful and had utensils we needed for coffee. Noisy guest down the hall at 2am was annoying.

It's just so convenient and perfect for a skier on a road trip. The bed is very large new and comfortable. I love it here. And rossland continues to grow on me too! If only they had one of these hotels in Nelson ... Along with Ferraro's lol Gabriella's downstairs is delicious, breakfast and dinner I absolutely recommend

Emily (7/5): Nelson Ski Trip - It's a very nice hotel and the room was nice and big. We enjoyed the hot tub and the pool and the restaurant. The staff were all very kind. And we loved just walking up a couple of blocks to the main part of town. Our king size bed was very saggy and uncomfortable. And unfortunately the pillows offer no support. They are too squishy. I think that they need to upgrade the beds and get some pillows that offer good neck support.

Peter (6/5): - Super friendly staffer allowed us early check in. The room was touted as a designer suite. In no way was it a suite. The king bed was very soft and seemed a little tired itself. The view out the window was of an exhaust vent about six feet wide and six feet high, in shining metal, about six feet away. How depressing! The room was directly off the elevator, and the ice and coke machines made a loud noise, continuously. The bathroom was poorly designed and lacking in privacy ( no door — is that the “designer” part?) . One small armless chair in the “suite” and no table to work on. Garbage basket and blue box were the most conspicuous feature in the room. There was a strange long black hair in the shower. How is all this “prestigious”?

Russell (10/5): - We visited this location in the summer and found it to be a wonderful spot to stay while mountain biking in the area. The hot-tub and sauna were clean and quiet while we were there. The room was comfortable with a good view of the mountains. The bike room worked well for us. The best part is the hotel is centrally located with all the shops and restaurants of Rossland within a short walk.

The room was nice and equipped with a mini fridge and a microwave. The hotel is located on the main historical street of Rossland. My son drove his electric scooter around the town, while we strolled on the street. The breakfast was nice but a bit expensive. The front desk staff was nice.

I will come again and I will recommend this hotel to friends and family. Coffee machine wasn’t the best.

Irene (9/5): Very comfortable stay and friendly helpful staff! - Location in the downtown was very convenient with Gabriella’s restaurant a lovely surprise. Refrigerator was not fully functional because pieces to hold. Beverages in fridge. Door were missing and lighting Options were not fantastic in the evening. Also, a coffee table would have been convenient.
Sarah (6/5): Good location for ski vacation. - What breakfast? Location was good. Pillows wear horrible, and when I complained, alternatives were not available. However, a very great room cleaner, Laurel, tried to find a creative solution using blankets.

Gary (10/5): Best place to stay in Rossland - We've stayed here several times and its always fantastic. Mostly it's the service tha makes the Prestige the best. From the front desk, to both restaurants everyone is super friendly and helpful.

Kate (8/5): Great hotel with lovely restaurant too. Very comfy beds. - Great location, very comfy beds, spacious room, friendly staff. Restaurant had lovely food and nice staff. If you want your own breakfast there’s a great supermarket just a short walk away. We were in a room that had an adjoining room and there was zero soundproofing through the doors, so you could hear absolutely everything from next door. When they were out it was silent, so the other soundproofing is great, just make sure you have a room without a partition door. Wish I’d moved rooms, but we’d unpacked and it felt like too much hassle.

danieldY5331VI (10/5): Awesome place - Very clean place, great price, good location, great restaurant. Was quiet, thwy have a licjed ski storage area, also they hav realky nice sauna and hot tub. Parking is close and easy, staff is very friendly and courteous, within 3- 4 miles of Red Mountain ski area.
