Es war sehr sauber und hatte alles was wir benötigten. Die Lage ist direkt im Dorf Solvang - ein Plus: Das Hotel bietet Gratis FahrrĂ€der an wĂ€hrend den Ăffnungszeiten.

- Mary (5/5): I expected better quality for the price we paid. - This is an old motel and it continues to be. Very little has been done to improve it, maybe just adding a larger TV. We were very disappointed in the quality of the room considering what we paid for it. It was more expensive than almost any other room on our 3 week trip and very disappointing in comfort and quality. There was nothing I liked except the lady in the office. She was very pleasant when we checked in.

The room was spacious, cute, comfortable and everything was clean. Self check-in was very easy and convenient!

Clean and the beds were comfortable. Located right in the center of Solvang with restaurants right across the street. Nothing that I didnât like. I happen to be a smoker and there was even a cute little gazebo set up just for smokers.

While I appreciated the ease of no contact check-in, checking out was a little confusing. I did not get an email with checking out instructions. We packed up our car and went to breakfast hoping to finish up in the room but when we arrived back, room service had already entered and it wasnât 11:00. The cleaners were kind, however, and let us in the room.

We could hear couple next door struggling with opening their room for quite a while, we had no issue with the self check in and the door code though. Had a bit of an issue getting hold of staff via messaging/online so had to call the property about our late check in (and as we are from UK that meant charges for international call). Other than that decent property, no frills but is central and comfortable

- valenzuela (9/5): One Night Stay at Hamlet Inn - This is the perfect location, close to a few eateries. It rained one day during our stay, so it was convenient to quickly walk to places we wanted to try. It's a cute hotel that has all you need for a stay and free parking! The noise in the room could be heard when other rooms were opening and closing the doors. Our door was a little tough to close without slamming as well. It would get stuck as if the wood was expanding (minor issue, but noticeable). All in all, great place to stay right on the Main Street (Mission Dr) and within walking distance to everything. I wish they provided bigger towels. Maybe it was a mistake, but it seemed like one of them was the size of the floor mat. We did not ask for different towels, as we stayed one night had other towels to choose from, but I like two towels and one was just small or for a child.

The beds are very uncomfortable and dated, the walls are paper thin and the restrooms need a tune up. It sounded like I was sleeping in a bowling alley. It's definitely not quite the inn that it used to be.

My room was quiet and had a view of the town. I felt safe and not lonely. Pillows were fluffy. Loved the bedside lamps and counter desk with chairs. Also, a nice porch which I wished I had used more. I've always wanted to have a red door, and this had one with a wreath on it! The right side of the bed didn't feel as comfortable as the other side. The bathroom window was a little hard to open and close.

When the hair dryer was being used and the hot water kettle was plugged in the circuit blew in the whole room. The emergency number had to be called and someone had to come and fix the circuit breaker.

This was actually our third stay here and there will be plenty more!! If I had to say that anything was wrong I'd say that the shower curtain was too short so water did get on the floor but a quick wipe with a towel and it was fine
