Guest Reviews
- Mike (6/5): Got switched to the Sheraton - This is a review for Four Points by Sheraton Eastham Cape Cod. A few months prior to our trip, Ocean Park Inn, called to say they moved us to the Sheraton Eastham Cape Cod. Seems someone wanted to rent the entire Ocean Park Inn.
The Sheraton Eastham Cape Cod is a decent hotel, but it caters more to families and can be quite noisy from 8am to 10pm. Our room was on the 2nd floor, facing the indoor pool, which only added to the noise level. Additionally, the excessive heat and humidity prevented us from enjoying the balcony.
Given our previous positive experiences at Ocean Park Inn, we would have preferred to stay there instead.
- Midge (10/5): - The front reception area people were very friendly and helpful. Loved the location of our rooms!
- Kelly (8/5): Great stay! - Easy checkin, clean and comfortable.
- Kathryn (8/5): - Nice big bathroom and comfortable beds.Did not like not having a hairdryer in the room. Overall a good place to stay.
- Rachana (10/5): - Awesome!!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Just okay - Needs a thorough cleaning and lots of paint. Heater not working properly and little or no reception on the tv. Check on very nice woman
- Susan (10/5): - Clean, quiet, property. Enjoyed the indoor pool next door.
- Leslie (8/5): - The off season rate for this hotel made it a deal. My room was nicely appointed and clean with consideration to the end of season. Unfortunately, it was very musty smelling upon arrival. The office personnel was a gem. we chatted for awhile and I felt very welcomed.
The BEST part of this location was access to its sister hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed the privacy of the outdoor pool during my stay.
Ive stayed here over the eyars and will definately return,
- dorothy (4/5): - Arrived. They had no hangers for clothes. office said everyone steals them. Bought some at tj maxx Air conditioning did not work Could not open window no screen We were out almost all day Sunday, but room was never made up. Had to call for towels for the next day!!! The pool was refreshing though
- Danielle (8/5): - No microwave in room
- Meredith (10/5): - The room was clean, the beds, pillows and linens were comfortable. In-room A/C for climate control. It was a non-smoking room (located on the upper level) but people smoked briefly on the balcony down the porch from where we were staying. The bedside wall lamp on the side of one bed lacked a knob for turning it on or off. In the morning we walked next door to have the breakfast buffet at the Sheraton Four Points (excellent coffee and fresh fruit) with the typical buffet fare. There are better breakfast options within driving distance but this was good enough. Overall, this is a basic motel in a good location. We were grateful we could find a property that did not demand a 2-night minimum given the Labor Day holiday weekend.
- autumnr911 (2/5): GROSSSS - COCKROACHES!
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! While staying here we saw three cockroaches in our bathroom. We had to call the hotel next to it to get someone to come over and check it out. The only thing they did for us was move our room.
Their response to us telling them that we had cockroaches was that "its not possible because there are no cockroaches in cape cod", which is 100% false.
The carpet had yellow stains all over them and there were spiders in ants crawling all over the place.
The outside of the all the doors were covered with huge spiderwebs.
The TV didn't even work, it was completely broken and we were unable to watch anything.
Just a gross place to stay and really disappointing that they don't care enough to put any effort into making it nicer.
- Gregory (2/5): - This property should not be listed. First off, the room was not clean. It was cramped. The bathroom had no place to hang towels. The supplied toiletries were insufficient. There was no hair dryer. The phone didn't work. When I asked about the phone, I was told that "they were supposed to fix the phones last fall." Hmmm. It took me a short time to figure out that many of the "guests" were not travelers. I found out that they were using the Ocean View to house staff from the "sister" Four Seasons hotel. The problem was that kids were left unattended in rooms and they kept bouncing and jumping around for hours in the room above us. When I asked about switching hotels, I was told the room rate was about $350 a night, which I considered to be exorbitant. I'm disappointed that the rating on Expedia was 7/10. This motel would only work as a pay by the hour motel.
- Nancy (4/5): - Plumbing issues and room has unpleasant odor
- Jorge (6/5): - Room smelled of humidity and 1 of the 2 beds had dirty sheets
- John (4/5): - Musty smelling room -- smelled like cat urine. Damp and sticky sheets. Ceiling tiles dropping dust on beds. One of the worst hotel nights ever -- and room was NOT to cheap!
- Katelyn (6/5): - The phone in the room did not work and the air conditioning did not work. There were no curtains in the small window. It was sufficient for a less expensive option for a night.
- Noreen (10/5): - Staff were very nice. Helped with suggestions for food in area. Room was conveniently located. It was great to use Sheraton Four Points restaurant and fitness room.
Only one thing I would change- temperature of water in shower varied dramatically when in use, and bathroom was small. Otherwise, a great stay.
- Amir (6/5): - The rooms feels not safe.
- AnnaEllen (10/5): Perfectly fine simple hotel! - Perfectly fine simple hotel!
- Robert (8/5): - Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is older but clean. Price was the best for that area
- Gary (6/5): It was ok. - It was ok. The bed was comfortable and the room was a decent size. The refrigerator didn’t have a freezer compartment and the air conditioner didn’t work very well. If you wanted room service you had to request it so we had to go to the office for towels and toilet paper. The pool was nice and fellow guests were friendly.
- Vicky (8/5): - Close to the bike path and everywhere we want to go.
- Jody (6/5): - Our room smelled like mold and could have been cleaner (weird drips on the walls, smudges on fridge). It is pet friendly, but that can be annoying when your neighbor’s dog starts barking at 5:00am. You have to make a request to have your room cleaned (ie: beds made, vacuumed, etc; standard fair at other places).
- jessica (10/5): - Great for the price close to all we wanted to do. Perfect for dogs and staff was prompt when we requested service for the room.
- Christopher (6/5): - The rooms were a good size with 2 queen beds. Room was dated. Small fridge, no microwave. Was able to go next door to the sister hotel to get coffee on the house. Access to hotel next door that had an indoor pool. Overall a good experience.
- Susan (10/5): - Great experience. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, bed comfortable,ac great, water pressure great, plenary of towels.
Pool lovely. Older hotel so not perfect but clean. Perfect for guest with dogs. Area very centrally located. Would stay again.
- Janae (6/5): - Location very convienent. Property needs upkeep. Toilet was not anchored securely to floor. Ceiling tile in bathroom had black mold. Other ceiling tiles were stained or poorly fitting in room & bathroom. Disappointed had done away with washer & dryer. No coffee pot in rooms or microware. Microwave was in office which was inconvienent. Room smelled stale. No regular service for towels, etc. Was there 5 nights & sheets were never changed. When we saw staff they would provide necessary towels, soap, etc. but had to ask. Staff not always knowledgable about policies and check out time was not posted.
- paulcJ8642BG (10/5): Third World Country Accommodations - Where to begin: pull in the driveway and half of it is blocked by low hanging branches, room to the door is warped so the deadbolt won’t work, chandelier has a lampshade on it, tv statics like it’s the 1950s, holes in the walls and ceiling, toilet rocks back and forth, shower floor is like stepping on a waterbed, burnt out bulb, wall plaster looks like it was applied with a shovel, one bent hanger, iron but no ironing board, amateur wiring contraption by a/c unit, frayed blanket. It appears whomever did their remodeling was totally incompetent. We paid $513 total for a 2 night stay.
- Michelle (10/5): - Property needs updating. Hotel door wasn't too secure.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Would never stay here again, there was black mold on the bathroom wall and the curtain rod was pulled out of the wall with a hole in the wall, the bottom of the tub was all stained brown, and we killed 4 ticks in the room, there is no coffee pot in the room
- Genny (10/5): - Good
- Ferid (10/5): - Great place to stay
- Natalie (4/5): - The property is close to many beaches and shops/ restaurants making it convenient.
As for the rest, well good luck! The hot water did not work. The ocean was warmer for a shower. The headboard was hanging off the wall. I called the front desk but no one answers the phone. There was no housekeeping services. I ended up placing 5 days of trash in a large garbage bag and placed in front of the housekeeping closet. I proceeded to watch the staff steer their cart around the trash and go about their day.... multiple times a day. It was gross. When I reported to front desk on check out, they said I needed to find a housekeeper and directly ask them to remove the trash. Silly me!
The swimming pool looks like it hasn't been cleaned this season.
The place could have great potential given location but as for now, what a rip off!
- Evelyn (6/5): - The room smelled bad likestrong mildew no coffe maker in the room no breakfast included 😢
- Melody (8/5): - The location was good for checking out the surrounding areas. However the rooms need updated and need more attention to the details of cleaning. Spider webs, mold in bathroom shower stains on bed sheets. Staff was nice enough but seemed a bit confused at check in about the second night stay and payment method.
- Amy (4/5): - The front desk staff were very polite and helpful. However, we had to change rooms twice because of terrible mold and mildew smell. Changing rooms did not help.
- Nicole (10/5): Great place! - This place was much better than anticipated after reading some of the reviews. We were pleasantly surprised, very clean sheets and comfy bed, staff were very pleasant and the price was right. We actually had the pool to ourselves for the afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The only negative thing I can think of is no shelves, or places to set stuff in the bathroom and the soaps are about the size of a quarter ... but they will give you as many as you need! We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
- Celia (10/5): - We love that its close to the beaches, clean, quiet, and reasonable.
- Thomas (6/5): - Okay
- Shelley (8/5): - my room was clean including a spotless bathroom. I was at the beach all day and had a quiet clean room to come back to. My only suggestion? my room was behind the stairs to the second level, people tended to stop there and chat on the way back to their rooms, not too loudly but they were smoking and made it so that I couldn't open my window for fresh air. If you ask for a room away from the stairs you will not regret it. and I will know to ask for one next year.
- Donna (8/5): Bathroom Problems - The room was clean bed comfortable ..
Our problem was with the bathroom no curtain/shade on window the water in the shower did not drain
- Camila (10/5): - We got upgraded to the Sheraton next door!! It was great!
- Kathy (8/5): - The only drawback, for me, was no coffee pot in the room. The room was clean, bed comfortable and the parking was perfect!!!
- Emily (10/5): - Nice place to stay, very stylish decorated room. Comfortable beds, friendly staff, close drive to beach!
- rebecca (10/5): - Cute vintage-y motel, run by nice people. Pretty grounds with trees and a nice pool for sitting.
- JOHN (10/5): - The place was clean the staff was great.
Nice spot to go with your furry pal
- Fernando (6/5): - I didnt like that there were bugs around and is outdated
- Anna (10/5): - The staff was friendly. The room was clean and very comfortable.
I’d absolutely stay there again and I would recommend it to my friends.
Also the room was affordable.
Also conveniently located.
- John Paul (10/5): NICE PLACE - I had a good time here. Good location.
Here is a picture from the National Park Service Herring Cove Beach in nearby Provincetown on 9/26/22
- Lucy (4/5): - It was close to many things at the cape and it was pet friendly. The room itself needed work, areas were painted different colors. Some towels were dirty, glad I brought my own. There were roaches in the room that we saw moving around in the morning. The toilet was loose when we used it.
- Elizabeth (8/5): - The location is perfect!
- greg (10/5): - Clean renovated rooms. A great location for the pet friendly crowd.
- Heather (6/5): - I liked how the rooms were accessed from outside, not inside a long hallway in a hotel. The front desk staff was very helpful and polite. I didnt like the fact that there was no coffee maker or microwave, especially for the price. They closed the outdoor pool on the property fairly early. The picnic area was very clean and well lit. In the morning, a couple hourse before checkout, there was a knock on the door and it opened right up in my face and it was a young man from housekeeping, thinking we were'nt there, and I was still in my nightclothes. He should've waited at least 10sec before entering. What if i was in the shower? I was very uncomfortable at that point. We quickly got changed and left.
- KAREN (8/5): - Easy to find. Friendly staff. Beds are comfortable. Only downside is the bathroom needed better cleaning. Mold on the grout in bathtub.
- Noel (10/5): - It was nice A little pricey but clean
- Lois (10/5): - This property was clean, conveniently located, and staff was courteous, professional, and went above and beyond to provide helpful directions and were extremely accommodating. Would definitely stay here again
- Carolyn A (10/5): - We only stayed for one night as it was a quick getaway for us. I was happy that the size of the room was larger than i thought it would be. It was also very clean and well kept. We will definitely be back.
- Joanna (8/5): Clean, friendly staff! - Clean, basic room. Close to restaurants and beaches.
Good experience.
- Ralph (8/5): - It was nice that you can use the indoor pool at Four Points.
- Kylie (4/5): - The initial room had a broken bed and
- joannc945 (4/5): Not so hot needs much updating - Stayed 2 nights place looked like it was from the 1960s.
Couldn't tell if rug was dirty or old or both.
Lamp shade hung from ceiling. Ran out of hot water the 2nd day. Window had tape in it and the price was $189.
You have to ask for hairdryer. There is no vanity top in the bathroom. No place to put anything. No microwave.
No maid service. The pool looked okay.
- MellyMel0729 (10/5): Great Little Hotel in Convenient Location - My friend and I ended up staying here after a recommendation from a person who was staying next door to our cottage rental which turned out to be a uninhabitable nightmare. We chose to leave after one night and drove down the road and were met with the nicest front desk clerk Denise. She was very accommodating and got us a first floor room as we were traveling with two small dogs. The room was large, clean and had nice cold air conditioning. The pool was great, the grounds are well kept and the there is a beautiful picnic area in the middle with tables, grills and dog poop bags and receptacle. The location was very convenient to everything we wanted to do. I would stay here again.
- Julie (10/5): - Clean..nice pool
- Damian (6/5): - Convenient location, nice property, exterior of building in good shape. Interior, though clean, was very dated. Older facility reflected in decent price. I'd stay again.
- william (10/5): - Very good, staff could be friendlier.
- Melissa (8/5): - There was dust next to the bed and a gummy bear on the floor.
- Michael (10/5): - The staff at the check-in desk were extremely warm and friendly. Property was very conveniently located. A very nice experience.
- Trisha (8/5): - Had an overall good stay.
- Rahul (6/5): - Very old AC did not cool room enough, either bed frame is small or mattress is larger, no hooks behind bathroom door to hang clothes, small sink in bathroom, no counter area around sink, very low toilet, no coffee machine, no hammocks as shown in pictures
Very strong unsecured Wi-Fi, good water pressure in bathroom, Safe area,
- Erin (4/5): - The room was not properly cleaned prior to us arriving. There were old dog toys on the floor. The bathroom was not cleaned either. There was an old bar or soap in the shower. The shower also did not drain until you were well out of it. Maid service also did not come to our room so we ran out of clean towels and toilet paper.
- Rachel (4/5): - The woman at the front desk when we checked in was very friendly. Otherwise, this place borders on really not doable for sleep. We had our room changed because there were stains on the bed from previous occupant. They changed our room but you cant really come back from that. The place smells like mildew, and they offer NOTHING for the 320 bucks a night we paid. I personally would never stay here again. Plan your trip early enough and stay somewhere worth the price. Other people at the hotel we spoke with said they had a similar experience.
- Laura (4/5): - Full of bugs and no counter space in bathroom. Although it was nice to have the breakfast and pool next door at the Sheraton.
- Faye (6/5): Not sure I'd stay here again - The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was OK, but not very clean, especially the bathroom and the refigerator. There was a very strong smell of sewage in the room - not sure if its because the toilet was loose and there was an escape of gas from the sewar line, but it was very unpleasant.
- Julie (2/5): - Great location, near the beach. But the rooms are old and very dirty. there were so many ants in the rooms. the smell of mold was awful. The bathroom was so dirty and old. the curtain was yellow from so old. no room cleaning for the days i was there. I will never go back or reccomend this hotel.
- Michele (2/5): - The rooms were nothing like the pictures. When we arrived the staff told us where our room was as we entered we noticed the shower curtain rod was falling off the wall there was mold on the walls and trim, dirt all over the floor and bugs stuck behind the plastic protectors on the back of the door with room instructions listed on it and The pillow covered were dirty also. We ended up leaving that hotel and booking another because none of their rooms were cleaned.
- donald (8/5): - Great check-in staff!!!!
- Andrea (6/5): - Nothing terrible, but nothing great. Ok room. I think the man who checked us in should have been more interested in customer service. Otherwise, decent room.
- Niki (10/5): - Very clean and the rooms were very bright and cheerful. Loved the color scheme of the rooms , blue and white. wonderful staff I would stay there again
- David (8/5): - Staff very pleasant and accommodating. Room was very Clean and beds were very comfortable
- 781jacquelinek (10/5): Wonderful - Room was large and clean ( including the refrigerator being defrosted). Pool was very nice and being able to use the the pool, bkfst and exercise room at the hotel next door was great. I especially liked the small table and two chairs outside each room . Staff was very accommodating and pleasant.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Bugs bugs bugs - Wonderful customer service, and great location! HOWEVER- the amount of bugs we came across were frightening. Our last night there we even killed a roach running across the floor. Very disappointing to have to return home from a trip and immediately start disinfecting everything. Hope they can turn this around and call and exterminator before they are shut down.
- siobhan (8/5): Family friendly budget motel - Family friendly Budget motel with bonus of great b/fast and pools available right next door! Helpful cheerful staff! lawn with picnic tables and grills available next to outdoor pool for family gatherings
- mh2509 (10/5): Friendly staff and good sized rooms. - Friendly staff that allows us to check -in early while being at q soccer tournament on the Cape.
The rooms are spacious and each room has two chairs and a small table outside. Good sized fridge. You can use the I door pool at the four point hotel next door or the outdoor pool the are just getting ready for the season. Directly behind the bike trail.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Terrible Smelling Rooms? - The first room we were given keys to had such a pungent odor (cat pee?) that we could not stay inside the room. The second room we tried had a similar strong smell but not quite so horrifying so we stayed. Room was not particularly clean and turning on the air or heat created its own new terrible odor. Towels had stains on them.
- donald (8/5): - 👍
- Simeon (4/5): - Had to check in at the Sharaton next door. WTH. Didn’t get the amenities that we had booked with the room.
The room and bathroom was full of spiders and cob webs. You could see light coming in all around the main door.
- F5283LMroberts (8/5): Great Price! Great Place! - Very family oriented and dog friendly. Our room had a fridge which was helpful. Nice grounds with a picnic table. The Sheraton is right next door where breakfast can be purchased or go to Hole in One Donut Bakery, about a half mile down the road for great coffee and donuts. Close to the National Cape Seashore with nice trails, walks about the salt marsh, access to beaches and the three original lighthouses.
- Svetoslava (8/5): - Overall good. We stay 5 nights for our summer vacation.
As a dog mom i am satisfied of my stay.
If you do not have animals or you do not love them that is not your hotel.
Many many doggies during our stay. Everybody was nice and friendly.
Happy to meat new families with pups.
Rooms was ok - beds was fine. Towels are big enough . Ask for extra when you arrived if you are more than 3 people. Rooms need many updates like new TV , mini fridge , Bathrooms need small touch ups. I will definetlly recomend to the hotel to add microwaves in the room (non is there).
Pool was nice, water was warm. We stay in the pool every posible minure.
They let us use next property pool - we went ones just because after 5 there is no sun on our pool.
Nice green area with picnik tables.
Many many dining options around.
Also Cumberland farm, Mini golf and Ben and Jerry ice cream. Use your car do not walk !!! Sreet is really busy.
there is a dog friendly beach 5 min driving from the hotel.
- Stephanie (10/5): - No frills, just what you need type of place to stay. We just needed to bed to sleep in, hot shower and a place for bathroom breaks and it was perfect.
- Jose (2/5): Not a good stay - Unfortunately, our room did not meet our expectation. Rooms are outdated and looks run down. Walls corners were in need of repair. Bed sheets had hair on them and the shower drain backed up when in use. Had to close the shower in between for the water to drain and not come up over my ankles. I didn’t complain for another room because it was only a one night stay and not sure if the other rooms looked the same. We paid the same price at another hotel in the area for the remaining time of our stay at the Cape and it was 100% better.
- Peter (6/5): - Dog friendly. Decent furniture. Terrible TV. Bathroom needed updating. But, look! This is Cape Cod. The essence of Cape Cod can be found in the song "Old Cape Cod". A certain old fashioned look is comforting and adds a welcome nostalgia. The room was clean, and this is important.
- Vincent (8/5): - Liked that it was relatively close to Provincetown and easy accessible. The staff was extremely accommodating even with a small crisis with the door. Some of the ceiling tiles need to be replaced in the room and bathroom. Overall a very comfortable stay and would definitely consider staying there again
- CAROL (8/5): - The ladies at the desk were exceptionally
helpful!
The Inn needs updating
- James (2/5): - Unable to contact the hotel. No answer several times. Answering machine always full.
- mburns314 (10/5): Comfortable - The beds are very comfortable and very clean room. We wish that there was a microwave however just to be able to heat up a quick snack. If you got hungry in the night. And a coffee pot would have been convenient as well. Otherwise very nice place.
- Jeanie (8/5): Great for traveling with pets - Very dog friendly which is what we needed….room was fine …but antiquated but clean and beds were comfy
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Loved this motel for us and our dog. Convenient location and very nice staff and other guests. Will return on another trip to cape cod!
- murphymeaghan80 (10/5): Nice little motel - This is a cute, friendly place close to everything in the Eastham/Orleans area. I stayed with my dog and there’s a cute/clean area to walk them. It’s not a five-star hotel but it’s reasonable priced, clean and good.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ok at best - Suspect linens. Clean? Not sure. Pre existing stains. water soaked carpet in one corner from either rain or ac unit. Nothing great to mention. Pool with option of another indoor and outdoor at neighboring hotel.
