- Lois (7/5): Good value hostel for HCMC - We stayed 3 nights at Khoi Hostel, the property is in a really good location to explore Ho Chi Minh (5 minute walk to walking street and short distance to other areas of interest). Room was adequate for a short stay. The room itself was on the small side, there wasn’t enough space to even live out of our rucksacks. Price was extremely reasonable for location and so easy to look past this but overall cleanliness could be improved significantly, particularly the frequency that the shared bathroom facilities are cleaned.

- Helena (7/5): Great budget friendly accommodation - This property is in an excellent location, the staff are really kind and helpful. The communal shower and toilet were very clean and they were cleaned regularly. The bed in our room was really hard, although we did sleep well. The room could have been a little bit cleaner, there were a few cobwebs but it was good value for money.

Pictures and current status of the hostel do not match at all. Staff was helpful but also not so interested/friendly. The room was ok, but facilities a bit old, not so well maintained. Ok for 1-2 night, maybe not the best choice for first timers in Ho Chi Ming City.

Staff were great and let us drop our bags off after we arrived earlier than expected. The bathroom in our room was a little cramped, had to straddle the toilet to use the shower!

- Janelle (7/5): Was great for a few days for the cheap price! - We were upgraded to the family room for the first night which was nice, but slightly annoying since we had to repack our stuff, check out and wait to go into the double room initially booked. Wifi was good, shower was hot, nice lamp to make the room cosy, bed was a hard mattress but comfortable enough. There was coffee available in the morning but wasn't made aware until the day we checked out. One of the ladies came to our room on the day we were checking out and gave us a plate of homemade noodles for breakfast which was sweet! Really liked the area - close to lots but away from the chaos and noise! No free drinking water available although you can purchase bottled water for just 10,000 Dong. The shared bathroom/ shower was really dirty. There wasn't any toilet paper for one night. The place doesn't actually look like the photos at all (mainly the outside area - pic 1 on booking.com)
