- Janice (7/5): Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and would stay there again if we were in the area. - The hotel was very nice and the location was convenient based on the reason for our stay. Unfortunately, the pillows on the bed were extremely soft and made our sleep very very uncomfortable. Firmer pillows should be provided. Also, I found that breakfast being available between 630 and 9:30 AM was a bit inconvenient. Breakfast should be extended a little bit longer.

- Lindsay (9/5): Wonderful weekend getaway! - I was very impressed with the size of the room and all of the kitchen equipment provided. Breakfast was great and the staff was very helpful. The only thing I didn't love was the pool area. Not bad but if I had to pick something to improve on.

Terrible sound during the night that kept us up. - Loved the breakfast options (breakfast tacos? waffles? super good egg bakes? yes please.) and size of the room was fantastic. I didn't expect to have an entire kitchen to use. During the day the stay was excellent - couldn't ask for more. While there were lots of rumbling and sounds during the day, we figured that would go away at night or that they were from the A/C unit. Not the case. The room rumbled and it sounded like a dryer was trying to lift off the ground every few hours throughout the night. We had a great trip, had a ton of fun, but I didn't sleep nearly at all. Room 211 if it helps. We'll never stay in that room again. Hotel: A+., Room: no thank you. Thankfully our toddler was able to sleep through it or we would've had to leave.

- Pascoal (7/5): - Breakfast was wonderful with lots of home made items. The cleaning schedule was not communicated properly at the check in time, so our room was not cleaned for 3 days. This is a dog friendly hotel. We left our dog for 1 hour to visit a site, the hotel called us 5 times complaining about noise, my whole floor had dogs staying so for a guest with no dogs, dont place them at the same floor dedicated to puppies. It does not work well for dog owners to be bothered. For us, puppy owners we will never complain about any kind of noise. When we got back our puppy was sound asleep, no issues. This was very disruptive.

- Norse (10/5): We'll be back! - Our second stay within three years. Love the accomodations and the staff was great especially Michelle who made us feel very welcomed. I didn't like the way guests treated the breakfast staff. They were doing their best to keep up with the crowd. They did a great job!
- Maryam (9/5): Pleasant, extremely comfortable. We loved the stay and a few thoughtful touches would make it perfect. - Location, facilities and cleanliness. Just a few notes: 1. Vegetarian trays and meat trays should be separate (especially since it’s two/three section trays with a single cover) it is not thoughtful to have meats with the eggs/potatoes/veggie patties when the steam condenses in the same container. 2. Turn down service cut corners when cleaning the bathroom and making beds. The base sheets were not refitted, straightened and the bathroom was not cleaned with supplies. 3. One of the nights we could hear people leaving on the top floor. It was like the floors/walls are too thin.

C’était rénové et très propre. La seule chose est que notre chambre était du côté de la rue donc beaucoup de bruit extérieur surtout en soirée et tôt le matin, mis à part ça , c’était parfait

- Mom2Boys (10/5): Extremely clean, Spacious & Comfortable. - Hotel was perfect, exactly what you'd expect from a Homewood Suites. Super clean, comfortable bed, sufficient breakfast, clean public areas. Great location, just a few minutes from downtown, the riverfront and the university. The only issue was the road noise from motorcycles or loud cars passing by. It is also difficult to pull out of the driveway due to the traffic. Neither would prevent us from staying at the hotel when in the area, however.

Absolutely love the soap/shampoo selections. I am allergic to sulfates, and this is the first hotel I have stayed at that offers allergy safe soaps/lotions.
- 195margerys (10/5): Great stay - Great hotel. We used our family and friends discount so the price was great. We stayed there two nights in the beginning of our vacation and one night at the end because of it's proximity to the airport. Great free shuttle service. Rooms and service were excellent. Staff all very friendly. Breakfast as always in these hotels is wonderful. The first night we got in they were having a happy hour with food and drink. Had soup, salad, cheeses, crackers, breat etc.. and didn't even need to go out for dinner that night. Great location. Just a short drive to downtown and the lake area. Easy access to highways.

- Clarkston_Rambler (4/5): Noisy and not up to Homewood Suites standards - If you’re unlucky enough to get a room facing Dorset St expect a ton of road noise starting around 5am. Dorset is a major shopping street with a mall and lots of big box shops. Delivery trucks must start early and you can hear the roar of the diesel loud enough to wake you up. Road noise continues with tons of summer motorcycles and people who enjoy performance exhaust. Not the hotel for light sleepers. The first morning we were there the eggs and potatoes were cold at 8:30am and the waffle batter was out. Second morning the breakfast was very good. The rooms have no sound insulation between rooms as well. Heard every footstep and conversation from the room above us. The noise level is something I would expect from an $89 hotel room not a $345 room. Would not stay here again even if it has a great location to shopping and 2 miles to the Marketplace.

Building and Rooms>> Uncharacteristic for a Homewood Suites, the walls, doors, ceilings, floors are very thin, it was loud, you can hear everyone in every room. Food>> Fantastic breakfast, many choices, unique and homemade egg dish every day, lots of other choices and a really friendly staff. Housekeeping >> red flags here, no one came the third day. We went to open the dishwasher which had a printed label that said the dishes have been cleaned, enjoy. They were dirty and we only had one dish in the cupboard which had a chip in it. They were not the friendliest group either. They no longer have the Mon-Thur happy hours anymore with wine and beer, it’s now only on Wed night. Overall just ok.

- victoriar535 (8/5): A good option in Burlington - There was a lot to like about this property: It met our need for a 2-bedroom, 2-bath suite since we were traveling with our grandchildren, and the layout was spacious. the towels and toiletries were plentiful; the floors/rug were relatively clean compared to the last property we had stayed at; they accommodated our request for daily housekeeping. It was in a convenient location off the highway (near a shopping plaza, a Barnes and Noble, etc), although the parking/elevator was about as far as it could be from our suite. We had a significant amount of luggage, so YMMV. There was a modest breakfast buffet which the kids enjoyed one morning. There are a few things that could have been better: the televisions are difficult to operate and the one in the second bedroom never worked properly. The very nice toiletries are mounted behind the flow of water from the shower, so one has to duck under the shower to get to them. Very awkward! A small trash can in the toilet/shower would have been welcomed, as well as a magnifying make-up mirror. Some of the areas like the toilet/shower room in the king-bed room and the living area were quite dimly lit. All in all, I would recommend this property, especially for family groups.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable so we all got a good nights sleep. The hotel breakfast is the best we’ve seen and we’ve seen a lot! This was during a busy jazz festival weekend so finding 2 queens was more difficult than I had expected. It was very easy access to route 89 which was a plus since we were traveling between visits.

They make all the food themselves, including homemade muffins. Also best manager ever! John makes you feel like you’ve been friends forever. All staff are friendly and helpful. Wed night social provides you dinner and drinks and laughs. It’s a must! Great hot tub, pool, fitness center, outdoor sitting and grilling area, luxurious beds and bed linens, full kitchens in rooms, ceiling fan above bed, and clean clean clean. The best!

The peloton bike was not working properly, and there were no weights to be used. The pool was also not working or available. If you’re going to advertise these amenities, they should be available. I booked this specific hotel based on the amenities so that was very disappointing

- Sheri (6/5): - I feel like when you don’t book directly through the hotel site they give you one of the worst rooms or locations. I am currently in the room which is right beside the mechanical room, which hums. Additionally the room smells like dog when you walk into the room. I had asked for a top floor room but was told they were sold out of rooms, despite the fact not all other guests had checked in. I mentioned to them that on their website it still showed one room available of the same type of room, but was again told there were no other rooms an available. The positive is that the room is spacious and located close to the mall and within walking distance. There are nice sitting areas near the lobby.

It’s not that we didn’t like it but the chlorine was very strong in the pool area. We still very much enjoyed the pool and hot tub though.

- Craig (10/5): Its The Little Things That Matter! - The hotel was very nice, recently refurbished. The gym was clean and we stayed in a two bedroom suite that was very spacious. The star of this place is Michelle in the kitchen. Michelle made home made pickled onions for the breakfast bar, she had baked goods made from scratch available each morning. All the staff was wonderful but Michelle was above and beyond!
