- Peter (9/5): A short walk, but a lovely hotel - Large, bright room with windows facing two sides. One with a small balcony (more of a sliding door with supporting rail rather than a full sitting-out terrace-balcony) and a fantastic view of the river and the lake. English channels on the TV, rain shower in the bathroom and everything very clean. We absolutely loved it! WiFi very good. Downstairs is the pool with a nice deep area for swimming, a shallow place for kids, and lounge chairs around and even in the shallow end -- perfect for parents to relax while their kids splash away. Buffet breakfast was great, with a huge variety to suit all tastes, and taken either indoor-air-conditioned or outdoors in a green courtyard. And of course the staff were all so attentive, polite and helpful. We loved this place. It is a bit of a walk from the central area -- about 15 minutes -- but I think that is reflected in the price. The path does follow the river, but in Vietnam the pavements (sidewalks) are for restaurant tables, bikes and parked cars, so walking it is a bit of a minefield.

The location is ideal - an easy bike ride or short walk into the busy centre. I would recommend this location so you are away from the noise of the town. The pool is also a welcome retreat as it is shaded from the sun so we were able to use it during the heat of the day. We had a lovely massage and would recommend!

- 92glk (10/5): The perfect base for exploring Hoi An - Very nice hotel, good service, good size rooms, and very good breakfast! Free bikes to explore the countryside were really nice, and I also had the hot stone spa treatment, which was very relaxing. The location is perfect, only a short walk from old town, but just outside the perimeter of the busy streets, so it’s quiet at night! Would definitely stay here again if I’m lucky enough to return to Hoi An in the future.

Comfort - very comfortable bed and excellent shower. We rarely use the bathtubs in hotels, but this one was so deep and comfortable we couldn’t resist. The room is designed so that the air conditioner does not blow directly onto the bed. Breakfast - large variety of Asian and Western choices, all very fresh. Staff - this is where The Royal Riverside Hoi An really shines. Extremely caring, friendly staff who clearly care about their guests. They are helpful in every way. We have been travelling Asia for 2 months and this has been our favourite stay.

- Revati (10/5): Stay at Royal Riverside Hotel and Spa was a mesmerizing experience of our Hoi An Diaries. - The first impression is made at the front desk and it was very Impressive. It is located on Banks of the River with a splendid view. We were greeted by Mrs. Ane she was pleasant and helpful, she assisted us with our room change and all the queries very patiently. She even helped me out with currency arrangement in the time of need. Guided us with city maps and the taxi services. She also suggested the best tour company for visiting Ba Na Hills, the guide Mr. Tam was excellent and we had fantastic time. Special mention to the General Manager as well , she was there to personally check on us and ask us about our stay. She remembered my daughter's name and enquired about her time to time. they properly is beautiful and well maintained. We got a room with adorable River View. Staff was very cordial and assisted us as and when needed. We used the SPA and it was wonderful experience. We were delighted as they had spa for kids and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed it. I would really like to recommend Royal Riverside Hoi An Hotel & Spa to all my friends and family who would like to visit Hoi An. The breakfast good always. However the veg options were limited. So a humble request to explore some more vegetarian options to include in breakfast. The spread was great with wide variety of fruits and drinks. Enjoyed.

Вкусные завтраки: есть выпечка, фрукты-овощи, рис, лапша, фо, яичница, соки. У меня был день рождения во время пребывания в отеле, отель подарил небольшой тортик и сувенир - очень приятно. Персонал радушный и дружелюбный.

- gsE4755LF (10/5): Lovely Riverside Hotel Away From the Hustle and Bustle - I stayed in the Royal Riverside Hotel from 19 to 30 October, 2025. It's a lovely hotel with a beautiful view of the riverside and the lights in Hoi An. It has a nice restaurant with a selection of dishes and a delicious breakfast spread that fills half the ground floor. The day and night concierges, Chau and Than were a great help. Not only did they help me with some complicated logistics I needed to sort out, but they were always able to remember my room number, even when I couldn't. The staff in the restaurant are friendly and helpful. The whole atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing and comfortable, which enhanced my stay in Hoi An tremendously. The hotel also has a swimming pool and massage service. It also provides free bicycles, which was a big help to me because I had injured my knee and it was difficult for me to walk. The massage service helped with the pain and the bicycle helped make me a lot more mobile than I would have been able to be otherwise. I recommend this hotel highly if you are in Hoi An. I had a great time here.
