• Dirienzo (9/5): Great adventure in the DR. - What a crazy place! Natural springs pools. Family trip with our 8 and 10 year olds. They had the best time. Unbelievably large pool areas. Really nice rooms with beautiful views. Family style dinner was also great. Hard to get to but close to los Haiteses so it works well.

• Gregory (5/5): Cadre idyllique mais le reste n’es pas du tout à la j’ai - Le cadre et les chambres Le buffet à 1000 pesos hors de prix pour des frites et du poulet et même pas de dessert La restauration est très très très médiocre Nous avions opté pour la demie pension et au final il nous on imposé le repas car il n’avait rien en stock Le petit déjeuner : un café du pain grillé et une omelette.

• jqgarcia (5/5): Una bonita escapada sin poder dormir... - La situación y entorno es muy agradable, la construcción está mimetizada con el terreno y no altera el paisaje. Las psiscinas naturales son muy bonitas y bien distribuidas. Las dimensiones de la habitación son generosas, (en nuestro caso tenía un altillo con otra cama de matrimonio), el baño con dos lavabos era correcto. Las instalaciones correctas. Entrando en las cosas negativas y empezando por la habitación, de los 2 lavabos uno tenia SOLO agua caliente y el otro SOLO agua fria. La presión de la ducha esra escasa. Las contraventanas de madera NO se podían cerra para tener menos luz en la mañana. Respecto a las zonas comunes, están muy descuidadas, las tumbonas sucias y rotas, falta en general mantenimiemto. El tema del desayuno y la cena, es lo peor del hotel, muy básico, con poca oferta y poca reposición, la verdad es que no apetece mucho ir a comer. También hay que comentar el mal funcionamiento interno, quisimos hacer check-out por la tarde, ya que ibamos a madrugar y no fue posible, por que no había nadie en recepción. A primera hora de la mañana tampoco.., pagamos unas consumiciones a una persona, sin ningún recibo ni nada, también nos dijeron que el desayuno empezaba a las 7 am y al llegar a esa hora, nos dijeron que era a las 7:30..., pero que iban a sacarlo. Por último señalar la mala educación de algunos clientes que estuvieron de charla, fiesta y música hasta más de las 3 am, molestando a los clientes (no se podía dormir) sin que nadie del hotel les dijera nada (no sé si habría personal) y sin poder contactar con ellos para solicitarles que dejasen de molestar.
• Roger (2/5): Una experiencia muy lejos del paraíso - El lugar, la naturaleza, el diseño del hotel, la agua de rio, los animales. Una experiencia muy lejos del paraíso esperado Nuestra estancia en Paraíso Caño Hondo fue, lamentablemente, una gran decepción. Vine con mi esposa buscando relax y conexión con la naturaleza, pero encontramos una serie de problemas e inconsistencias en el servicio que arruinaron la experiencia. Llegada y acceso: El recibimiento fue frío y sin empatía. No hubo explicación alguna sobre el hotel o sus servicios. Un problema mayor es el acceso a las habitaciones, ubicadas en una loma empinada y solo alcanzables por largas escaleras rígidas. Nadie ofreció ayuda con el equipaje; tuve que volver al lobby y buscar personalmente a alguien para que nos ayudara, lo cual fue un mal inicio. Habitación: La habitación era espartana pero de buen tamaño, con una vista excelente a la bahía de Samaná. Sin embargo, en tres días NUNCA fue limpiada. El último día se nos acabó el papel higiénico, lo que nos obligó a ducharnos nuevamente después de usar el baño, un detalle inaceptable. Restaurante y comida: Reservamos con desayuno y cena. Los horarios son excesivamente limitados (desayuno 8:00-10:30, cena 19:00-20:30) y la calidad de la comida es muy básica. No solo por la limitada variedad del buffet, sino por la mala calidad y, especialmente, por la falta total de temperatura adecuada (la comida estaba fría). El personal del comedor nunca saluda y da la sensación de molestarles con tu mera presencia, sin ninguna empatía ni deseo de ayudar. La responsable del área dirige con un estilo muy despectivo, agrediendo verbalmente a sus subordinados constantemente. Ambiente y ruido: Esperábamos un retiro eco para escuchar el río y relajarnos. En cambio, por las noches el lugar se transforma en un karaoke de mal gusto con música an alto volumen y "gritos " que imposibilitan cualquier momento de paz.

• annick (6/5): Bel endroit mais nécessite un peu d entretien - Sa situation en pleine nature Le manque d attention du personnel. Vous pouvez rester longtemps assis au restaurant sans que personne ne s occupe de votre commande alors qu il y a 4 personnes du personnel en train de parler entre eux. La serveuse ne sait même pas ce qu il y a de disponible sur la carte.

• Tina Sommer (9/5): wunderbarer Ort - das Gebäude passt sich perfekt der Natur an, viele kleine tolle Details zu entdecken. sehr grosszügiges Zimmer mit Balkon. Die Nutzung der wunderbaren Naturpools war im Preis inbegriffen. wenn alle Besucher weg sind ist es super ruhig und man hat die Anlage für sich. die Zufahrtsstrasse ist eine 'Dirtroad' mit einigen Schlaglöchern, aber mit etwas Vorsicht absolut mit jedem Fahrzeug machbar (keine Steigungen). der Ort ist ein absoluter Traum, wenn auch teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen. verpasse nicht den Ausblick von ganz oben ;) wifi hat nur beim Restaurant funktioniert, im Hotel nicht. die Kommunikation war sehr schwierig, mit wenigen Ausnahmen spricht das Personal nur spanisch. das Wasser wird nach langem laufenlassen leicht warm.

• Janet (8/5): A waterfall paradise in the middle of nature - A peaceful relaxing getaway. The grounds are magical. It reminded us of Rivendell in the Lord of the Rings. It rained almost the entire time we were there. On the up side, we had the pools all to ourselves.

• Yacell (1/5): Bad - This location is all about FALSE ADVERTISING!! Ones you are there all they want to do is OVER CHARGE YOU more than what they advertise through the web. I had an argument about that with the GM/OWNER and he just blamed it all on BOOKING and told me to cancel my reservation with BOOKING and leave. So I did!!
• Brandi (8/5): Very good - The food was great and the staff were very helpful. The location was beautiful and the natural pools were a lot of fun. The room was still very hot and humid even with the fans on and the outlets were outside of the room which wasn't ideal. We couldn't access any hikes and waterfalls in Los Haitises and that is the main thing we came for.
