There are stairs down to the beach and plastic adirondack chairs that you can borrow. We didn't use the indoor pool but it looked nice. I appreciated the convenient laundry facilities. There is no food service but it is in walking distance to several restaurants and the units that don't have a kitchen do have a fridge and microwave. There is also a small store behind the lobby desk. This is the best location for a view of haystack rock.

244gretchenf (10/5): Perfect location to view tides at the Rock from comfortable rooms - Hallmark at Cannon Beach sits directly behind Haystack Rock so you have a wonderful view as it changes during the tides. This time we also scoped the Tufted Puffins as they flew in and out of their tunnel nests. The rooms are clean and comfortable, pool and hot tub are perfect, the staff is always helpful and pleasant. Special plus is the Elements Spa on-site. You'll love a spa service that includes their wonderful and unique hydrotherapy shower. Walk across the street to Pelican Brewery for a signature burger, flatbread pizza and beer! This resort offers everything a beach resort should have.

tamih555 (6/5): Always a beautiful view - We always love the customer service and the view is unbeatable. We appreciated the last minute accommodation. Unfortunately this unit was not very clean. Cushions were stained tables were dirty and the space felt overcrowded with large furniture. The biggest issue was the carpet in the pet rooms which had a strong urine odor. Updating to vinyl or tile flooring would make a big difference. We enjoy staying here and would return more often if improvements are made.

Escape364980 (10/5): Relax and work remote at the Hallmark - The Hallmark is possibly the best location at Cannon Beach, with beach access directly to the iconic Haystack rock. The team of staff are kind, and customer service is great, and the rooms are clean and spacious with modern smart tvs, coffee, mini frig, microwave, etc.

From check in, to additional services to check out every staff member was kind, helpful, and provided creative solutions for me and group. Location is perfect with direct beach access and many rooms with direct and indirect beach views it made for a relaxing moment. I highly recommend this place for a visit and plan to soon be back myself!

Happiness04169827607 (10/5): Relaxing Honeymoon - We went for our honeymoon and it was amazing. We got a room on the oceanfront with the big jet tub and it was so amazing and relaxing. Did lots of relaxing with the sliding door open to enjoy the ocean as much as possible. They also have easy access down to the beach so when it was low tide it was easy to go out and explore . They also offer firewood to have a bonfire on the beach and that was a fun experience.
Travel24672652861 (10/5): 10 out of 10! - This experience was incredible. Hallmark Inn was fantastic. The upgrade to a balcony with beach view was 100% worth it. I highly recommend that option if possible. My 4 year old son loved the cookies at the front desk every day and the complimentary shovel and bucket to play in the sand. We will definitely be back ASAP!
797hunterr (10/5): Perfect for a young family! - The location and atmosphere was PERFECT for a young family to see Cannon Beach and Haystack Rock. Everything was walkable, under a mile, and if you have young kids, you can walk along the beach towards more of the restaurants and shops and let them run around on your way. The rooms were nice and had a fireplace, which was fun for the colder April evenings, and the views from the hotel were incredible. We had a ton of fun in the indoor pool and sauna when we needed a break from the beach, tide pools, restaurants and shops. Overall, for a good value stay in an incredible location, I could not recommend this spot more!

stevedT5188ZX (10/5): Vacation on the Oregon coast - The Hallmark Resort in Cannon Beach is a wonderful place to stay. It is located on the beach, with steps directly to the sand. It is right next to Haystack Rock, which was really cool to see. The resort itself is very nice and clean, with a very helpful and courteous staff. We definitely will be back.

Easy access to the beach and loved the complimentary cookies as well as our pet package. Only downside was our oceanfront room smelled like wet dog and pee when we first arrived.

Bonaire (10/5): Best spot for a weekend getaway - Cosy and comfy. Fantastic location, wonderful facilities for the price, perfect PNW vibes, and great for a getaway weekend. Enjoyed walking proximity to everything, the free cookies in the afternoon and complimentary bike rental. Sound proofing could be better between rooms. Some rooms are closer to foot traffic. It’s a family and pet friendly location so expect a bit more activity.
Global44007273982 (10/5): Planning to come back - This is a wonderful place! The location is fantastic, steps from Haystack and some restaurants and galleries. Although it was a bit of walk to the downtown of Cannon Beach it's definitely doable. I highly recommend checking out the bikes and have a great day of it. The bikes were a blast and made the trip downtown quick and easy. The rooms were lovely, even the partial view room had a great view and a cozy fireplace. I was also shocked how quiet it the rooms were, absolutely silent. I have to admit it was the little details of a smores kit, cookies, chairs for the beach, accessible firewood, and excellent customer service that made this a fantastic place to stay.

Erin (9/5): Comfortable and Clean in a beautiful location - We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years, but hadn't been back for a few. Our room was very clean, well appointed and quiet. Extra bonus for the murphy bed in the living room which was comfortable. So much better than a pull out couch. Kudos to Hallmark for this design! Worked great for travel with my elderly mom who had the bedroom (also very comfortable) Coffee in the lobby and a newer keurig coffee maker in the room was a bonus! They left us a bottle of bubbles to celebrate our time of way. Very sweet touch! Beautiful deck with beach view and great restaurant across the street. The sound of the waves at night was so relaxing :-) My only complaint was our room did not have a direct view of haystack rock which I called the hotel to confirm this request and they said we would have. We could see it from the corner of the deck and one small corner of our room however. This was and important trip for my mom to return to the place she loves so much one last time. Most the staff was very lovely and helpful both in person and on via phone communication. There was one gal at the front desk that was a bit grumpy every day (to everyone who entered)- but you can't have it all. If it wasn't for these two things I would have given the property a 10. Overall I would definitely recommend the Hallmark Inn at Cannon Beach.

E2054VVrussellw (10/5): Best business venue. family retreat experience on the Oregon Coast - I was at Cannon Beach for an entire week at business meetings (but of course brought my entire family along). Everything about the Hallmark is amazing. The location and views are amazing, the room was clean and comfortable and the staff were amazing at making our stay memorable. The Meeting venue was perfect for our meetings and the Hallmark was accommodating in every way. Did I mention the location and views? WOW! The Hallmark was not only fantastic at making our meeting great, but was as affordable (and in many instances more affordable) than stuffy, overpriced and under performing brand name hotels in cities. Why would anyone want to hold meetings anyplace else? My organization has now used this venue for meetings for six years. We will use it again. Incidentally, My family absolutely loved their experience of staying at this wonderful resort and playing on the Oregon coast.

The staff were exceptional, the rooms were beautiful, the views were stunning, and the amenities made the whole experience exactly what I needed. The front desk staff were extremely accommodating when I requested to switch to a room closer to beach access, since I was fully planning to go into the ocean, and they made the transition effortless. Every part of my stay felt thoughtful, welcoming, and deeply restorative. I will absolutely be back.

SunnyandBuster (10/5): Just about perfect! - I have been going to Cannon Beach for 64 years. After my parents sold their cabin several years ago this is the only place I stay. It is well appointed, perfectly placed for best views of the ocean and the rock and is on high enough ground that tsunami risk worries are lessened. This is the place to stay!

H5440WBjohnl (10/5): Great stay again....awesome staff!! - The Hallmark resort is my "go to" while staying on the Oregon coast. what makes this play so special, besides the location, is the outstanding staff! A couple times in the past I have come across issues, created by me, not them, in which they fixed the issue and told me if there was there anything else I needed that is what they where there for. This last time myself and grand daughter fell into the water and was soaked head to toe. Our room was not ready yet so they found us another which turned out to be an upgrade. They upgraded free of charge and gave us extra towels to take back to the room to dry off. They also called later to check to see if we were OK. Ya....they got my business forever and anybody I else I can point their way.

My only hesitation to stay there again would be the comfort of the beds- maybe the problem was having a queen? And the first day when we opted for housekeeping, our bed didn’t get made. Kind of weird. But you really can’t beat the location!!! I’d stay there again!

The one-bedroom was clean and comfortable, though it felt a bit crowded with some of the larger furniture pieces. The television system was somewhat challenging to navigate—even for someone fairly IT-savvy—so I can imagine it may be tricky for most users and I feel for the poor staff. ADA navigation through the building could be improved, and smaller luggage carts would be a helpful addition to make move-in and move-out easier. Having just come from Lincoln City and stayed in a comparable room, I would say this is a very nice property as well—though it does come at a significant higher price point.

I took advantage of an e-mail offer which allowed me the ability to afford a 3 night stay. I travel alone and feel very safe at Hallmark. It is quite, clean and offers a beautiful view of the ocean with quick access to the beach. The staff is always friendly and will accommodate in any way they can. Hallmark is quickly becoming my favorite Oregon Coast get away.

Great location with beach/ocean views. Staff is very courteous. Guests were a little noisy going up and down the stairs late at night.

The 5 levels of stairs to the beach were too difficult for me to manage. I drove to an easier access location to walk on the beach. The room was extremely clean and of good quality, I expected something a bit more luxurious based on the price and quality of similar nearby hotels/resorts. Ex. toilet & tub were in a tiny room and awkward to use.
