Good sized room with comfortable beds. Decent sized TV. Room would benefit from secondary glazing as traffic easily heard. Sound proofing between floors, we were woken by the occupant walking around early in the morning. Restaurant - staff nice & working really hard but food disappointing.

Sadly the ladies serving in the restaurant looked very upset about something. There was no interaction at all. I work front of house but never let my feelings show. Also the food was, at best, ok. Expensive too. The room was very good value. We parked in the car park next to the room and were really upset to find it the next morning covered in bird poo. I’m sure that this must have been mentioned before by previous guests so it would have been good to be given the option to park elsewhere. Wentworth is a beautiful village and we would love to visit again but would not stay here again. Sorry. See above.

- Carl (8/5): - The radiator worked well to warm the room up. The bed duvet was large, warm, clean and nice material. Checkin was easy as the pub was quiet when I arrived at 2pm. The annexe is a lovely old building which has been redecorated internally very nicely. Although it is near a main road I wasn't bothered by traffic noise or other internal noises. Breakfast was good for £10, lots of choices for cooked options and continental options in a nice room in the pub. The shower has a good flow of hot water but is in a bath with a step over to get in and the bath floor is slippery and not flat so one of the least safe showers i have used.

- Maelgwyn (7/5): Well located, and friendly. - Very well located for visiting Woodhouse Wentworth. Both the room and bathroom were very spacious, clean, and well decorated. Their bedroom block is alongside the B road which runs through the village. Although, there was not a great deal of traffic, it was audible.

Its only occassional though, but other than this its such a pretty/ sweet place to stay & very close to Wentworth Garddn centre & the Estate/ park.

Keeping in mind you can't check in til 2 pm The breakfast coffee was nice as was the room we ate in The property has a huge beer garden which I'm sure is lovely in the summer The property is right on a main road and there was road noise all night, so it wasn't a great night sleep. The room although spacious was very dark. it needed brighter lighting. The food wasn't great. We had an evening meal that was very basic and we chose not to eat it all. Although the breakfast was hot, it wasn't great either. Sausages were inedible Over all its not a property we would recommend or return to

Shower worked well and nice toiletries supplied. Ran out of toilet paper fairly quickly as it was the cheap small rolls normally supplied in many basic hotel rooms. I did ask the staff in the pub who manage the rooms but was told they didn’t have any so would have to wait for the cleaners to arrive or take some tissue from the pub toilet dispenser. The overall experience was somewhat inconsistent due to the pub that manages the rooms. While the concept is convenient, the quality of the food served in the pub was disappointing and fell below expectations. Breakfast was adequate, but fairly average and not particularly memorable. Service was mixed throughout the stay. Some members of staff were friendly and helpful, contributing positively to the experience. However, others appeared disengaged and, at times, somewhat moody, which detracted from the overall level of hospitality.

Having to cross the road each time, it was a busy road at times with cars flying down which was tricky for my mother. Bar staff took ages to serve and there were continually long queues.

- Linda (8/5): It's Yorkshire: what's not to like??!! - The room was cosy - a small twin. Warm and quiet. Plenty of hot water, tea and coffee making facilities, clean towels. The staff were very good: the manager who checked us in was excellent, finding us a table for dinner in the restaurant which was extremely helpful, and Gina, who oversaw breakfast. Good breakfast - better on the 2nd morning than the first for some reason! Extra sausage on the 2nd morning. Lovely location in the pretty village of Wentworth with the award-winning garden centre within walking distance, and the historic Wentworth Woodhouse close by. A very old pub with lots of character. The area around our accomodation was very muddy underfoot which had an adverse affect on shoes and trousers.
- Vlad (5/5): This place should not be authorised to function - Good location for visiting Wentworth village and the mansion. Room and bathroom were of decent size and looked like they were renovated quite recently. Nice and comfortable bed. Zero hospitality at this place. The check-in is at the pub across the street, which is extremely crowded and you need to queue with everyone else to get the keys. In the parking lot we stepped right into 2-3 inches of pure mud. No paved pathway, nothing improvised to show that at least they tried something to fix it. Yes, it is the country side, but there is a minimum of civilisation expected. There was plenty of dried mud in our room, hairs in the bathroom, unwashed coffee cups from previous guests and a general feel that there is no housekeeping at all. Pub across the street always very crowded, understaffed and the waiting times to eat were ridiculous, at least two hours for a basic meal. Very odd place and will not return. Not even for free.

- Diana (10/5): Out of all the places I stayed, I would definitely recommend RA by GK - Bed was comfortable, remote had batteries (unlike some places), shower was hot, food was decent and it was close to things so we could get where we needed. I would have liked a little more ventilation in the room and had a hard time keeping window open enough to get the little air I did, but I made it work.

The rooms was spacious, warm, inviting and very comfortable. We had a drink in the pub across the road and breakfast the next morning……all authentic. I’m pushing it here, but voting on a snowy winter day, our experience could have been enhanced if the snow had been cleared from the car park and the path to the accommodation

- Fleur (8/5): Overall a great place to stay - Accommodation is in a separate block so no disturbance from the pub. You gave your own key and just come in and out. Spacious character rooms with a modern twist in a historic building. Food is vey good at the pub. There was no milk in the room and when I went across the road to ask as I’d booked 2 rooms and no milk in either the reply I got was we have run out of pots and we are having a delivery tomorrow. So they knew but hadn’t left a note in the rooms? I asked for 2 small jugs of milk and I was told no I couldn’t have that. I was baffled at this stage but was told I couldn’t have a glass from behind the bar with milk in for each room. In room 9 there was a large patch of black damp under the window.
