- Michelle (8/5): Lincoln Trip - Been here before & like the access to the pub.Nice big comfy bed & large TV. Could do with more pillows & possibly refurbished all round but value for money.
- Alberto (7/5): -
- Craig (8/5): - Food and room Nothing was wrong
- Gaynor (6/5): -
- Vasile Laurentiu (1/5): - No clean No good staf
- Silca (8/5): Highly recommended - Enjoyed the food and staff lovely No comfy seats to rest in after food and a few children running around.
- Raymond (8/5): Very warm and friendly - Breakfast very good for the price staff very helpful when asked for things Not to do better but think whole place could do with a revamp as parts of it looking old
- David (3/5): Manager not helpful, and certainly not polite - Property not bad Promised they had soya milk on arrival, the wife is dairy free so was pleased. However 8 days later still no sign of soya milk so she had to go the week there at breakfast without a drink.
- Jakub (1/5): Very lound, impossible to sleep - Both nights Friday and Saturday there was an event on until midnight which I haven’t been informed when booked. It was very loud and impossible to sleep. If you booking to put your head down, don’t bother booking it! You won’t get any rest

- afd893a36dd5734e96977776c0ee2bf7 (5/5): Late communication re noisy function - Reasonably priced. Restaurant available for meals. Staff friendly. Was only informed by email 10th April at 17.30 - before our stay 11th-12th April that there would be noise from a function - as all rooms are located on 1st floor - it was extremely noisy from our arrival 5.30pm till midnight. We were annoyed because you have to prepay & couldn't cancel for free with Booking.com as they only offer this up 23.59hrs 9th April.
As the function was a wedding the hotel should have emailed us at point of booking as they must have known months in advance. We complained about this to reception the following morning but were told it was mentioned in booking.com t&c's - I could not find this only reviews from other unhappy visitors regarding the noise. Reception informed us we could have cancelled with them directly up till midnight 10th April but this wasn't written anywhere I could find.
On reflection I wish I had asked the hotel if there was a function on the date of our stay before I booked or responded to their email due to late notice to see if I could cancel with them directly. Very dissatisfied with transparency & communication.
- 2760e37ee9a67305f52f1962449f3142 (2/5): The stay was marred by excessively loud evening function noise and cramped dining, though breakfast and staff were pleas - The breakfast was nice- although it had no veggie sausages as part of the buffet as outlined in the menu. Although there’s a disclaimer stating that all rooms are above the function room and might therefore be a bit loud if a function is on, there was no courtesy email letting us know there was a function booked for our stay until the cut off date for cancellation had passed- we would have cancelled otherwise! The music from the function room started at 1700 and was consistently loud and banging until midnight- there was no respite. You couldn’t sleep during this time.
The tables in the pub were very close together- definitely just an ‘eat and go’ destination.
Breakfast was good and staff were polite and friendly. Although menu stated there was a veggie sausage option at the breakfast buffet, there were no veggie sausages on display? Did we have to order them? This wasn’t clear. Not good for vegetarians or vegans.
- Frank (9/5): -
- Brian (8/5): A very pleasant short stay - The food was good and met my gluten free requirements. The room was pleasant and there was a lift. Nothing springs to mind
- Mary (8/5): Great stay - The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the ambience of the place. I felt my gf dietary needs were well catered for. The receptionist was brilliant and rang me to let me know i had left something behind, which I was extremely thankful for. Unfortunately we couldn't have out first choice for meals as it had been a busy Bank Holiday. Also, although there was a great choice for breakfast the food wasn't very hot.
- Kerry (3/5): Wouldn't recommend - Comfortable bed and room was a comfortable temp. Spacious bathroom, windows overlooked rabbits playing on the field. Free parking and plenty of it. Lift was available. Clean towels. Its ok for a very basic stopover if you have no alternative option but absolutely wouldn't recommend for wedding guests. TV in bedroom although very small and high up which made for awkward viewing. Curtains were falling off the rails so couldn't shut them properly. Bathroom sliding door was too short in width - when sliding to the left to close and lock it, it left a gap on the right hand side of the door which meant anyone walking into the room could see straight through into the bathroom. Bath was very small despite the bathroom being spacious, couldn't lay down in it comfortably and I'm 5ft 4. Small shower head. Bed seemed clean and it was comfortable however on returning home I saw i had a line of bed bug bites on my arm which has completely put me off. Didn't use tea making facilities as didn't feel I could trust that these were clean. Could easily hear other guests walking through the hallways. The whole room could do with modernisation.
- Gabriele (9/5): - Gute Anbindung für unsere weiterfahrt ....
- Gillian (7/5): - Very easy to get to the city from here. Key cards to rooms were faulty. Had to get staff a few times to get them fixed.
- Anita (10/5): - Ruime kamer
Goed restaurant
- Graham (8/5): -
- david (8/5): - Staff Dated decor and fittings
- Turner (9/5): - 1st time at windmill farm, was very pleased
- Steve (9/5): - Excellent carvery, lovely staff, great rooms.

- Michael (8/5): Very good stay and will stay again soon - Location was good for me. I was told that the place needed updating and i would agree but it had all i wanted, was very clean, spacious and everything worked properly. Super clean bathroom with great shower. Not a lot really. There are areas that do look a bit tired but I didnt really mind as staff and food was really good
- mike robinson (9/5): Would definitely stay again - Really nice hotel
Good sized room
Large, comfortable bed
Huge car park
Great restaurant on site
Easy check in
Very quiet Slightly dated decor
Door security chain broken
- Pam (8/5): A good budget hotel - Bed was very large and comfy..staff were brilliant and helpful In need of a refurbishment..getting slightly tired..staff go the extra mile though
- Mike (7/5): Got what we paid for - The beer GK IPA Sausages and Bacon seem boiled rather than grilled. Would be better if the latter
- Berry (9/5): -
- PAMELA (8/5): Nice - Good location no breakfast
Easy booking in and nice big room with 2 heaters
Would stay again
- Dean (6/5): - Room was good value and the Lady on the reception desk was very good Gentleman bar manager was very rude and arrogant when we sat at a table he said was reserved, no signs were on the table, we left and went elsewhere
- Taylor (7/5): - The staff are brilliant and location perfect. The music from the event was too loud and kept me awake until midnight.
- Kate (8/5): We will be back - Location very convenient, helpful staff , plenty of parking and a great restaurant. The room was exactly what we wanted and it was good value too. We were told about functions booked too. Room was very warm even with the windows open , radiator was on inferno setting 24/7
- Olly (7/5): - The room was nice and cosy and very clean , staff were friendly and good value for money for dinner and breakfast Loud music from the function room so couldn't sleep till late
- bhoot (5/5): Good , cleaning could be improved - Good facility , lovely staff Bathroom was somewhat mouldy , water pressure in the shower was awful and bedsheets had rips in them however it didn’t ruin my stay
- Jane (8/5): -
- Karen (7/5): Great stay but gluten free people can not eat here. - The room was lovely, big bed and a bath😀. Reception was great and had no problem getting more coffee when needed. We found the restaurant poor, reception said there would be no problems with a gluten free diet but the evening meal which was gf was flavourless. When we went down for breakfast there was no menu, I was given a tablet which stated there was no gf options. The waitress said we could have the continental, but only the yogurt, not worth the price so ate off sight.
- Bean (5/5): Avoid weekends - It had a bed Very run down, some lights in room not working, needs decorating, families put in rooms above a function room with load music and mic till late night and no warning about a function taking place!!!!
- Stephanie (1/5): -
- Jai (10/5): -
- Raymond (7/5): -
- Scott (6/5): Convenient. - Friendly staff, comfortable bed. Noise from the event was far too loud. Was only informed at check in not prior to booking. Needs some work and decorating. Very run down.
- Carter (10/5): -
- Tina (10/5): Most of the staff were lovely just some could do with learning some matters -
- Denis (4/5): See above - The whole Hotel, at least what I saw of it, is dated and decor is tired and in need of a serious modernisation and face lift.
I did not wish to eat in the Hotel. Overall the Hotel was OK and staff polite and friendly, but nothing more, and at £90 it was in my opinion, way over priced for a mid-week out of town Hotel. I would not stay here again. See above
- Whitehouse (5/5): -
- Angelo (7/5): -
- Catherine (8/5): -
- Steven (6/5): Ok, but not again. - Friendly staff. Shabby rooms, windows didn’t even shut properly, windy.
- Richard (10/5): Good convenient and pleasant stay - Good location clan friendly staff Carpet worn out needs updating
- Sharon (10/5): Short stay - Everything N/A
- jones (10/5): very nice hotel and the people were great - na the place was perfect for me
- Cecile (4/5): Disappointing - The staff were very helpful and nice. There was always someone available to help us when we needed - and we needed it. The room had quite a few issues. The iron was broken and hadn't been replaced. Our door key card stopped working the next morning, before we headed out. We reported the issue to reception before headsing out. They gave us a new key but it didn't work either. So they told us the issue was with the battery in the door lock and that they would replace the the battery in the afternoon so it's fixed when we come back in the evening. We came back just after midnight and it hadn't been fixed. So we had to call someone to open the door for us. This was quite frustrating at this time of the day, when we already pointed out twice an issue that hadn't been fixed.
- Vicky (2/5): Clean, comfortable but my god don’t expect to get much sleep. - Big comfy bed, room was clean but a bit un finshed. The noise!!! Guests shouting down the corridors later at night and very early in The morning.
Another guest was shouting and swearing down his phone for over 30mins in the breakfast room.
Not the hotels fault but the staff did nothing to address any of these problems.
- Danielle (10/5): Fantastic location and great stay - Everything, this hotel is great to stay at
- Christine (9/5): Very enjoyable - Friendly staff good food nice room
- Mike (7/5): - All staff very friendly and welcoming
- Danielle (9/5): nice place to stay - Comfortable room and spacious nothing
- Fernando (8/5): -
- Ibiyinka (10/5): -
- Patrick Gerard Rabbitte (9/5): good Place - Yes
- John (4/5): I’m home now catching up on sleep which I went away for the night to have a relax which we didn’t get so in all horrible - Somewhere to eat on site Booked a week ago wasn’t told at time of booking about wedding been on in function room until day before arrival which should have been explained before taking our money as non refundable the floor was vibrating till the point we’d had enough so I phoned your out of hours number which the line didn’t even connect obviously turned the phone off which wound us up even more so we paid £117 for no sleep which is not good so why I wouldn’t ever return if there is something on but you don’t tell people at time of booking which is annoying so would never return staff are great room ok but the noise was unacceptable
- Michael (9/5): -
