I chose the hotel because of the availability of fitness. for me it was important. 2. I bought a number for 70 euros, but it turned out that they sell the same numbers for 30 euros. It's just embarrassing to overpay. 3. written continental breakfast. but actually there is a very cheap vietnamese breakfast. 4. at 4 o'clock in the morning there was a strong knock, they were chopping meat in the kitchen, the door was open to the corridor. The noise from the kitchen did not stop. The hotel staff did not want to do anything to remove this noise.

I could not sleep few nights due to noise came from construction site nearby. They were working throughout nights. Communication were difficult due to language issues.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - いつも宿泊するホテルが満室でしたので、スグ側にある こちらを予約しました。普段はお向いのホテルなのですが、最上階にレストランがイルミに気になっていたので丁度よかったです。バーとレストランは少し今どきな感じ。夜はイルミが可愛いです。食事は朝食ビュッフェでした。美味しいですよ。お部屋も広くて綺麗です。ただ お部屋によって 窓がほとんどない部屋もありました。

I used it every time I went to Hanoi. All the employees were kind to me. It's less than 10 minutes' taxi ride to Miding Songda Korean Town.

- Vasudev68 (8/5): Good for Business visit - I stayed here recently for 10 days on office visit. This hotel is located in new Hanoi area, since majority tourists prefer in old Hanoi. This hotel has two wings in same building. Rooms in higher floors are good. It offers complimentary breakfast & the restaurant is located in 10th floor. From this floor, one can have some view of the city. The breakfast consists off fruits & main course as per local custom. It has good variety for non-vegetarians and limited for Vegans. Breakfast timings are from 6.00 AM to 10.00 AM. The same restaurant is open in the evening for dinner for limited time & limited dishes. It offers laundry & rates are comparable with any similar hotels. Some rooms will have smoke smell may be due to AC ducts. Service staff is good. Reception speak reasonable English. Overall good stay.

Above the tenth floor restaurant is an amazing view from a three level patio with a bar. Everyone I interacted with spoke English. Room price was $42.60 US. Be aware there are no wash clothes as that isn’t a thing over there.

Others are not good. There is one CVS, Vietmart around hotel where takes 10 min by walk. The worst thing is outside environment of hotel is dirty.

The breakfast is good. Staffs are polite and friendly. Staffs have difficulty in speaking proper English. Try to stay in rooms on higher floors to enjoy a good view of the city.
- reineko (8/5): Good hotel, good wifi and good staff - This hotel has a very good location, saturated quite near most of the locations in Hanoi making it good for travelling around, surrounding the hotel are alot of food and entertainment area, massage and karaoke shops. The rooms are spacious and very well kept and the breakfast buffet is normal but with friendly staff making the place seem slightly more special. The staff in the hotel are all very helpful and speak english so its overall a great place to stay as a first visit to hanoi.

This hotel, from facade, only looks like a 2.5 star hotel (this is my opinion and others could tell you a different story) but has much better room than a 2.5 star hotel has. I really appreciated their room and their excellet services. Even after the restaurant/bar closed, the room service guy went out to buy beer to serve. Breakfast was also very good. I loved their Pho too. Only one thing you'd better not to expect is a gym. They have 2 treadmills at a dusty balcony which can be reached only when you cross the breakfast restaurant (in your shorts!!) All in all, I loved this place but there are something you need to give up. At this budget, I cannot complain.

For my very first night, the air conditioner was spoilt and shower room flooded. Requested a change and was given a new room the next day. Good service. However, doesn't feel comfortable with it.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Not a top market hotel but good enough - The rooms were big compared to ones in Hanoi City, a lot smaller. the food wasn't flash but the staff were very friendly and nice.
- Paul (6/5): Great Staff but Poor Location - The staff were wonderfully helpful. But the surrounding area had nowhere of interest. It was 10 kilometres from the Old Quarter with construction work and roadworks nearby. Even the nearest supermarket was five minutes by taxi.

If you choose deluxe room, you can enjoy bath. 구시가지에서는 멀지만, 미딩에서 가까워서 좋습니다. 무엇보다 방이 편안하고 깨끗합니다. 디럭스 룸 이상을 선택하시면 목욕도 즐기실 수 있습니다.
- virgo889 (8/5): Not Bad - The staff there are friendly, If you are waiting in the lobby in the morning, they will serve your plain water while you wait. Breakfast is normal, everyday menu is the same. They have strong wifi in room and at the lobby. The location is far from tourist area, approximately 30mins away from the Old Town of Hanoi. Across the main road there shops and restaurant.
- I2318ALkima (8/5): Great place - Staff were so accommodating. Good food! They also have free wifi and a small gym inside the hotel. Though, this place is quiet far from the tourist spots. Would recommend this place if you're looking an affordable accommodation.
- 488arih (6/5): Average - Not so special. Just normal with little wear out room. Anyway staff was very nice and helpfull. Location OK, only 30 min from airport. Breakfast was average. Good point it is not near main street so not any street noise.

- HEE SAM (8/5): 출장 이용 후기 (웨스턴) - 조식은 좀 부실한것 같습니다. 방에서 약간의 쾌쾌한 냄새가 났고요, 샤워장소가 별도로 없고 욕조에서 사용해야하는데 유리문이 있어서 조금 불편 했습니다.

- 829sreek (8/5): nice and tidy hotel - Rooms were spacious. Furniture was very good. staff were very friendly and co operative. I faced one incident there. When I saw some opening in the hand railing from top floor, I told them to make a barricade. but they left it as it is for 3 days until the work finish. Thats the only negative thing about the hotel. food also very nice.

- Advisor-ladyJ (6/5): Safety not great, room beautiful and staff wonderful - This hotel is located in a developing area of Hanoi, but it is not quite a business hotel as we expect in N America. The rooms are beautifully furnished, although very small, unless you spend a little more money and get the suite, which is very spacious (but doesn't have a toilet paper holder, strangely enough). The restaurant has a very basic breakfast buffet, and we got one room service served hot and the other cold (while should have been hot). Tried to take a coffee break in the restaurant, but all tables were pushed to the window for cleaning! Nowhere to get a cup of coffee in the hotel... Going outside is OK if you are a local, it is taking your life into your own hands if you are a foreigner. Motorcycles ride on the sidewalk, and that is once you are out of the shady side street that this hotel is on. Went down to lobby late at night, all lights were off and staff was sleeping. Not a place for business women traveling alone... I have to say that the staff is absolutely wonderful however. I think this will be a great hotel in a couple of years; they are obviously working hard to bring this hotel up to high business standards.

Hotel facilities are good, service is good too!! perfect to stay at reasonable price. It has about 200 rooms, modern restaurants, and it is easy to go downtown
- DangThanhTung (10/5): Surprising ! - A night when our house had a problem with electricity, with my wife we were looking for a hotel to stay because the weather is horrible hot. We found Western Hanoi Hotel is not too far from the house. Luckily when we've got there, they left 1 room. Spacious and nicely decorated with wooden furniture. Air con works pecfectly and confortable bed. Free car park and the staffs are helpful. Thank you & thank you again.
- Andrew (2/5): Bad hotel, please avoid - This hotel is lacking in character, facilities and service. We recommend that you go elsewhere. Firstly, our "Executive suite" room wasn't really a suite, it was actually a medium-sized bedroom with a separate bathroom. It's layout was poor without a convenient place for putting on make-up except the bathroom sink and no convenient place for working. The pressure of the shower was extremely variable with the associated extremes of hot and cold water temperature and also had poor drainage leading to lots of water being left over the bathroom floor. The service was also poor, an item of clothing was stolen from us during our stay and the staff who dealt with our complaint didn't want to reimburse us, claimed it was our fault and ultimately hadn't been given any authority to fix problems. The manager who we asked to speak to never turned up and was always non-contactable when the front-desk staff tried to reach them. The facilities at the hotel are poor. My brother had problems with the laundry service not returning his clothing on time. There's no hotel bar to relax in and the evening food service superficially has a good selection, but when we ordered actually had a much smaller selection of available meals.

- Verified traveler (4/5): 호텔공사중 - 호텔옆빌딩공사로 인한 소음이 심해서, 몇번 항의했으나 전혀 개선되지 않고, 아침새벽부터 시작해서 저녁늦게 까지 공사진행중입니다4월13 일 부터 일주일정도 있었지만 호텔에 머물고있는 시간이 괴로운 시간이 되었읍니다. 이 점 미리 감안하셔서 booking 시 참고 바랍니다.

- Verified traveler (6/5): noisy - My room was on 2nd floor. It was so noisy becuz of some crazy family shouting on the robby, but hotel did not control those people. I've called reception to make them quite, but no use. You can hear anything even you already lock the door. but they allow me the check out late. Its was ok.
