- Emilia (10/5): Great hotel -Funda Otel - The hotel was very clean, and breakfast was very good. The owner is very friendly and very helpful. She booked the transfer from Gocek to Marmaris and negotiated the price on my behalf as the driver did not speak English I would recommend this lovely hotel to those who wants to spend some days in Gocek

- Verified traveler (6/5): Very Dated Photos and Description! - Funda Otel is no longer as described and nothing like in photos! NO daily room service - we stayed 3 nights and didn't even get our toilet paper bin emptied! Had to ask for a clean towel. NO mini bar, not even water. NO pool umbrellas or pool bar. Worst of all bathroom was dirty, mould in shower and toilet hadn't been cleaned! Bed and linen ok but all sufaces and floor needed cleaning. Breakfast was ok and some staff were friendly. Family are all living there and using common spaces. Would NOT stay there again!

Promised be done 2 days after arrival but continued in till day 4 after which not sure it was swimmable as the water still looked unclean. Unpleasant hosts and the owner the old man was rude. Rooms tired and old like the owner. Mattress cheap and thin. Bathroom unpleasant with mould. Ac noisy. All rooms are noisy with road traffic. Good side location but other hotels are more cleaner and nearer as we ventured out to make our move out. Hope that helps to make your mind up.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Çok kötü bir deneyim. Uzak durun! - Ailem ve arkadaşlarımla yaşadığımız rezaletlerin bir kısmından bahsetmek istiyorum. Otele önceden rezervasyon yapıp ücretini ödediğimiz halde girişte ödenen ücretin kendilerini ilgilendirmediğini tekrar ücret alınması gerektiğini belirttiler. Israrlarımız sonrası uzun süre bekletildikten sonra bir yanlışlık olmuş diyerek odalarımıza geçebildik. Otel fotoğraflardaki gibi değildi. Odada tuvaletin havalandırması yok. Saç kurutma makinesi ve tuvalet kağıdı yoktu. Santralden talep ettikten sonra ''Olması lazım. Neyse!'' denilerek alabildik.Yan odalardan ve dışarıdan oldukça fazla gürültü geliyor. Havuz var ama kullanılacak büyüklükte ve temizlikte değil. Süs havuzu gibi. Gün içinde erken planınız varsa kahvaltı yapamayabilirsiniz. Kahvaltı 08:30 gibi başlıyor. Ancak, masaları yetersiz olduğundan yer bulmak sıkıntılı. Zaten az olan kahvaltı malzemeleri bittiğinde yenilenmiyor. Çocuk için kaldığımız süre boyunca süt olmadığını söylediler. Şehir merkezine çok yakın değil. Yazın sıcakta merkeze doğru gitmek çok yorucu. Otelden ayrıldıktan 1 saat sonra odada unuttuğumuz çantalarımız için tekrar iletişime geçtiğimizde odada çanta olmadığını, bizim yalan söylediğimizi, otelden para istemek için yaptığımızı ve ''siz zaten gittiğiniz her otelde de böyle yapıyorsunuz'' denilerek telefon yüzümüze kapatıldı. Tekrar arayıp ''otele geliyorum, odaya bakmak istiyorum'' dedikten sonra da çantalarımızın odada olduğu söylendi. Hiç tavsiye etmiyorum.

The Good: New hotel, clean, close to center (modest breakfast, small pool) The Bad: Nobody welcomed us, unhappy staff, The Ugly: Beware of the owner (elderly man) . He is surprisingly unpleasent and hostile. Never said welcome to us. When asked if he can do something about the knock-down bed's thin matrisse, he said "nobody complained about that before", "its not him but the manufacturer of the bed to blame about the thin matrisse", "you should have paid more and reserved a better room with a proper bed". Surprised to see that he is not making sense we stopped talking to him since we could not allow him to ruin our mood. Just stayed away from him afterwards. After driving 640 kms we cannot let him ruin our holiday. We stayed only two nights. The last night my wife, me and my son we slept on the double bed because the knock-down bed was so uncomfortable. While we are leaving we saw that there was another spare bed unused on the corridor and may be if they had given its matrisse to us, the bed would have become comfortable to sleep on. So its not that he can not help us but he does not want to help us. We have every reason to believe that the staff were unhappy because of the owner. The staff looked caring and helpful but we could not even say goodbye to them and left the Hotel early in the morning without even having our breakfast. Göcek is a very nice place to stay with all of its beauty and nature, please do not let this review shadow your perception of Göcek. Bu otel aslında güzel bir otel, ancak yaşlı sahibi basit bir ricada bulunduğumuzda bize hiç yardımcı olmadı ve kırıcı şekilde konuştu. Söyledikleri sayesinde otelinde misafiri gibi hissedemediğimizi belirttik filan ama anladık ki konuşulması anlaşılması imkansız bir insan. Konu da incir çekirdeğini doldurmaz, açılır kapanır yatak ekleyebileceklerini söylemişlerdi odaya oğlumuz için, o yatağın süngeri çok ince, yatınca yatağın demirleri batıyor sırtına bir kaç sünger minder filan verebilir misiniz altına sermek için dedik, "başka kimse o yataktan şikayet etmedi, yatağın imalatı öyle, parasını ödeseydiniz de düzgün yataklı bir oda ayırtsaydınız" diye cümleler kurdu. İnanamadık tatile oteline gelmiş insanlara bunları nasıl söyleyebildiğine. Lahavle dedik, 640 km yoldan sonra çoluğun çocuğun tatil keyfini kaçırmayalım diye kendisini yalnız bıraktık. Bu otelde kalacaksanız bu yaşadıklarımızı bilerek kalın istedim. Çalışanların yüzünden düşen neden bin parça onu da anlamış olduk. İyi tatiller.

- Smallandlarge (10/5): Excellent hotel - Stayed at this hotel for one month,could not fault anything.Great room ,modern clean with everything you need.A/c fridge ,tv and a nice breakfast included in a very reasonable price.The owners despite not speaking much english are friendly and if needed will help you throughout your holiday.2 mins walk into centre of gocek. All in all perfect.

- Cemsay (2/5): family vacation - Please be advised !! The owner of this establishment is not a good example of the usual welcoming Turkish hospitality !!! From moment one the owner had a sour face and unfriendly demeanor . We have stayed at other hotels in Gocek and this hotel was a huge disappointment ! We made an agreement with the owner - in advance - regarding price of our stay . When it came time to check out he acted like that conversation never happened —- we actually then pointed out to him the agreed price written BY HIM in his reservation book !! At that point he acted as if he was doing is a favor ! He has no place being in the hospitality business !! Gocek is a beautiful amazing port side village , please do not let this review stop you from visiting !!! Just do not stay here !!!

Aile isletmesi, guleryuzlu, iyi insanlar. Merkeze yurume mesafesinde ve sessiz bir konumda. Yan tarafda bir insaat var ama sanirim yaz sezonunda duracak, bizim icin bir sikinti olmadi. - CD04-Melbourne (10/5): Clean hotel - We stayed at Funda hotel for 3 nights It's a clean hotel and is a short walk to the marina and centre of Gocek. Breakfast is typical Turkish breakfast, which is served by the pool in terrace at the back of the hotel.
- ersnpkn (2/5): Rude, arrogant owner with no hospitality! - This hotel is 10 minutes far from Göcek city center by walking. It's a typical family hotel. Managed by a couple. We visited this hotel last week, Göcek was very empty, and there is nobody staying here without us. But the owner of this hotel Kerim treated us so badly since we wanted to talk about more fair prices. He didn't give us breakfast for two days since he made a small favor on the prices. He never says "good morning, goodbye" and never smiles at you. He locked the hotel entrance and you should wake him up to enter to hotel on nights. When my wife left our room, he suddenly requested our room's keys as if we'd take it :) When we're checking in, he requested money immediately. Despite the cleanliness of the hotel, it has a terrible, rude and arrogant owner. He has no idea about Turkish hospitality! You can find more humankind people and feel Turkish hospitality in other places in Gocek.
- RheaHead (10/5): Will be back! - Loved this little boutique hotel. Staff were so friendly, helpful and you could tell it was a family business. Great location, walking distance to marina, shops, boat excursions and restaurants. Rooms very clean modern and spacious. Breakfast was included and was the best eggs I've ever eaten in my life.
- 351weze (8/5): Funda - We booked this hotel for a night before we went sailing for 10 days. It's new and very comfortable..just a 2 minute walk to the center of town. The price was reasonable and it was very clean. It lacked some lived in charm....but do recommend.
- suek3108 (10/5): Excellent Stay - I booked this hotel a few weeks before we stayed. It is a new hotel and didn't have many reviews but looked nice. It certainly lived up to its description. The hotel was about 3 minutes walk from the centre of town, just enough to be away from the evening noise but not far to walk to all amenities. The room was lovely, clean and bright and much bigger than expected. The staff that run the hotel didn't speak much English, but that didn't stop them helping as much as they could. The breakfast was included and was a wonderful buffet of meat,cheese, bread, eggs, fruit and coffee and tea, more than enough. There is also a good size pool with the hotel which was a welcome relief on a hot day.
