Guest Reviews
- Erika (9/5): Clean and Comfortable for an affordable price. - The room was clean and comfortable. For the most part it was very quiet although the door was outside. The room needed some updating but for one night it was fine. There were a lot of men hanging out on the upstairs walk way and the parking lot, which I assume was where their rooms were. But this could be a little scary to a woman traveling alone. At times they got a little loud but it wasn't for long.
- ewhardin (3/5): Expected more from Best Western - Location off the highway. Not a good value for the money. The room smelled musty, air conditioner was weak. There were contractors staying which decided to take over the place. However they did go to bed early. Overall the hotel seemed old and outdated.

- Lee (10/5): Jessie’s Diane do.dk - All Helpful
- Daryl (10/5): - Great Stay, Comfortable Bed, Convenient Location
- Pamela (8/5): -
- D.Greene Films (8/5): Great stay and quiet comfortable - Continental breakfast was good. None at this time.
- Megan (5/5): Good for the price but if you have another option, go with that. - You get what you pay for, price is good for what you get Run down, room was a little dirty when we got there and had flying bugs I had to chase down and kill before I went to sleep the first night, only cereal toast and waffles for breakfast
- Smith (10/5): - I loved it all
- Jerry (8/5): Okay for one night stay - Closeness to interstate People hanging around outside questionable.
- Sturdivant (10/5): -
- Kendrick (7/5): -
- Elizabeth (9/5): -
- Wesley (8/5): -
- Susan (8/5): - It is a clean and comfortable hotel. The breakfast no longer includes eggs. There are zero options for low carbs. The pet fee was high.
- Sharon (9/5): -
- kathleen (8/5): -
- Hurley (1/5): The facility and the stay is always pleasant but this last time was a nightmare - I didn't eat the breakfast. I left upset. I left frantic. I left in a livid trance. Haven't been able to eat or sleep since. I didn't like the fact that I booked my reservation and as soon as I get confidant and naked, the receptionist given someone, a stranger my room keep and the guy attempted to come inside the only thing was securing the door was the latch. All the hotel manager offered was to change room key. That man could have been a sex trafficker, rapist, murderer. You name it and my life was at stake. I was afraid.
- Jimmy Bo (9/5): - always a great place to stay when we are in town for the races the only thing was the water in sink was only hot, no cold, but we did manage and it was all good
- Terrance (10/5): Awsome - Everything were AWSOME It wasn't anything I didn't like
- David (4/5): - Tub was stopped up. Breakfast was limited. Room smelled of smoke. Office/breakfast room was not air conditioned. Bed was uneven.
- Cindie L (6/5): - Room was clean but very dark decor. A lot of noises. Especially people talking and hollering outside. It ended up ok but not one of my better choices.
- Maribeth (6/5): - Not super clean, carpet on floor was damp, but it was quiet and we slept well
- Nicki (10/5): - Very clean, great price, no issues for our stay.
- Bryant (10/5): -
- Melissa (4/5): -
- Lara (6/5): For the weekend - The hotel was in a good location and didnt feel unsecure about staying there. The room was a little dayed but I've seen worse. Always check for bugs and didn't see any. My husband didn't think the bed was comfortable and the other couple that was with us in another room didnt like theirs either. My mom and I thought the bed was ok but the second night for whatever reason my moms started creaking everytime she moved. There could have been more towels in the bathroom and almost every corner had webs. There was a nice outdoor sitting area and they didn't have a huge breakfast but they did have enough to choose from that you won't starve. TV selection was good and serves was friendly. We had two rooms and stayed two nights.
- Hope (1/5): Don't do it!!! - It was easy on and off the freeway. Everything!
1. Room had a funky smell and the a/c was turned off.
2. Tv didn't work.
3. Microwave didn't work
4. Bathroom had mold on the ceiling and tub was super slippery.
5. Prostitute working the parking lot.
6. Saw no outdoor cameras.
7. Towels and washcloth was so stained I used a clean sock to was with.
8. Drunk neighbors partying with the prostitute next door.
We left before 6 am the next morning.

- LISA (10/5): - Nice hotel 100% better than the hotel next door. The lady that check us in was so nice. She was cleaning the lobby. Great price.
- Lashonda (4/5): Owner does not do honest business! Stay away - Room was clean but it was a horrible dip in mattress that made for a horrible sleep.
I was told I could pay an additional fee of 20 to check in early, i paid with a different card then the one reservation was made with which was a though 3rd party company, Owner of this hotel took that card and charged additional fee for service animal which was never told to me or even brought to my attention. Owner lives on property, seen me & my service animal every day but chose to charge my card without my consent or knowledge! I informed them of my service animal at check in and was not told of a fee. I feel the owner is deceitful and undermining. For 100night its better options!
- Hope (5/5): -
- Charles Glynn (9/5): Sure stay night - It was comfy, clean and staff helpful. Nothing
- Kim (6/5): - Bed was adequate. Breakfast selections minimal. The lobby and the room smelled musty. Overall, the property was tired.
- Janae (10/5): - Very nice staff
- Jackson (10/5): Comfortable stay on a long business trip! - Wonderfully firm king size bed. Enjoyed the stay very much.
- Ehrsam (8/5): -
- Denise (4/5): Fair at best - Cleanliness for price not equal. Felt dirty. First room had a dead bug in it! Above ⬆️
- erin (10/5): Quality place to stay with ezmxtra touches -
Spacious room, comfortable bed, refrigerator, microwave and even a nice spa tub for a little extra cost,, pet friendly and really friendly, helpful staff, nice extra touches like soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers in room and it looks like they even had acharger for electric cars. You can tell they really care about providing a quality place for guests to stay
- Anita (8/5): - Room never got very cool even with AC running on 60 nonstop.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Hotel was good, but room was very hot & smelly, when we entered. AC was turned off and it took couple of hours before cooling takes place. They must switch on AC in this hot summer before giving the room.
- Kay (4/5): - Old not clean. Bathroom stains on shower curtain and shower. Stain on bedspread.
- Tina (10/5): One night in Meridian - I like the location of the hotel. Friendly check-in and out. Continental breakfast on a Tuesday night, might be better on the weekend. Clean and comfortable. Bed was a bit hard for me. Overall great stay.
- Jacqueline (6/5): - Not great had dingy white towels bugs was biting me offered soray
- Kathryn (10/5): A gem! - I was so pleasantly surprised by this property. It is an older property but very clean and kept up and the service is fabulous! Everyone is so nice.
Bonus: Great breakfast too!
- Loren (4/5): - Wall a/c unit was not turned on when we entered the room making it extremely uncomfortable when we arrived. Bed was comfortable. Ok place to stay for a night on the road. Just please....turn the a/c on for your guests when it's so hot outside!
- Mark (7/5): Good -
- Tony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cynthia (2/5): - I admittedly reserved in the wrong town 10 minutes before calling the property. I talked to them and they kindly agreed to cancel the reservation.
- Denise (4/5): - room smelled smokey even though it was "non-smoking".
Dirty a/c vent. I cleaned it with a towel and got clumps of grey dust.
- Amber (4/5): - Bad customer service.
- Lawrence (8/5): - Breakfast choices could have been more and/or quality of choices (different cereals, mini muffins, or individually wrapped rolls)
- Miller (7/5): Good - Convenient access Could use some updating.
- Vadim (10/5): - Best experience. It was perfect choice to stay here.
- Brenda (4/5): Disappointing -
- Rufus (8/5): Very good -
- Cassandra (2/5): - The towels were dingy looking and I had to go to the front desk and ask for clean towels. They asked me if the towels were dirty, like I was crazy. The room had a odor from last person heating up food in the room. I will never stay again at this location. Needs better housekeeping staff.
- Mitchell (8/5): Good place for our stay. - Perfect stopping point and place for our road trip with a pet. Reasonable price and cancellation policy. Room was quiet and that was a bonus. Room was super hot upon arrival. Cooled down eventually but would have been nice to have it at 72 or 75 as a starting point. Rooms are a little dated and in need of a refresh.
- Beverly (4/5): -
Don't go by the photos they advertise. Room was musty and furniture was old and worn. However, the bathroom was clean and we had all the necessities. Would not recommend though.
- Randall (10/5): - Nice little mom & pop hotel. I hade a great stay.
- Gillian (10/5): - Perfect for a night on the road. Super nice people running this place!
- Richard (3/5): Poor - Bed was comfortable Desk staff was rude, no personality, they have breakfast, but there was no coffee, no milk for cereal, pancake batter for the waffles had been out all night and was rancid. There were 3 hard boiled eggs no toast, nothing in the pastry bin but two sweet rolls. It was only 7 am. Worst amenities I have seen. I will never go back
- Lanie (4/5): Worse stay ever - This hotel was very hard to find and terrible once i got there. The room smelled like someone was smoking weed in there. For more money they would have tried to find me a better smelling room.
- Angela (6/5): - Bed was horrible, shower was so low you had to bend over to get your hair wet, and no coffee available for early risers. It was just an overnight stop but we won’t be back.
- James (10/5): - EASY IN AND OUT AND CLOSE PARKING
- Tony (8/5): - Was hauling furniture to mountain cabin. I appreciated that there was designated parking for trailers. Room was small but had everything I needed. Breakfast was very basic but adequate. Convenient dog walking area. Easy on and off from the freeway and the area felt safe. I would stay again.
- Gary (1/5): Bad -
- Tabatha (6/5): - This stay was a good stay for 1 night
- Lauren W (6/5): - The room smelled like wet dog and old clothes with moths. Beds were small. The fridge wasn’t working either. We lost 3 milk bottles because it stopped working.
- Cheryl (8/5): - All in all it was a good stay, comfortable beds, pet friendly and a jacuzzi in the room.
- Cheryl (8/5): - All in All is was a good stay. Pet friendly rooms, near by restaurants.
- Lynda (6/5): - Room was clean. Needed a new desk chair. There was no bedside clock or hand soap.
- Johnny (5/5): Passable -
- Melissa (7/5): The rooms are decent, even if the area is less secure than I prefer. - We stayed in the executive suite and it was very spacious. The room was clean, the king size bed was comfortable and the full size bed was nice and separated from the king size bed by a half wall. The area felt less safe than I expected for the price. When I went to check in, a local law enforcement officer came in to respond to a call for service. While the room itself was quiet, I didn’t feel well rested because I worried about the safety of my family in the room and our vehicle in the lot.
- Stephen (6/5): - The towels and wash cloths were worn out, and dingy.
- Deshotel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ashley (10/5): - Everything was clean..the check-in was quick and convenient!
- Jimmie (8/5): Clean and comfortable - This is an older hotel that's been updated with new floors, paint and bathroom. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. Breakfast was continental, cereals, pastries. I saved $40 over staying at the Holiday Inn which I spent on a hearty breakfast at Cracker Barrel down the street. I'd stay here again. I think they're doing a good job. I didn't expect an elaborate breakfast, exercise room or pool at this price
- Malie (8/5): - Nice area, easy on and off the highway.
- Jean (10/5): Very nice with a nice price! - Breakfast was good. Omelettes, sausage, waffles, muffins etc.
Room is nice. It has an outside entry door if that matters to you
- Mcclurg (8/5): Very good -
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Quick overnight: great room!
- Chris (8/5): Pet friendly hotel is OK. - We came back through Meridian and stayed at the Sure Stay same as we did going through to our destination. We had the same room, too. The man at the desk did not know if I could bring my pet to the breakfast area......odd. This is an older hotel (motel) but the room was clean. I think there are workmen that stay here as there were a lot of trucks in the parking lot. It's an OK place to stay. They charge $30 plus tax if you have a pet (each one). I wish the desk clerk could speak better English.
- Craig (6/5): Pleasant -
- Brooke (1/5): Bad -
- Michael (6/5): Clean and decent hotel for 1 night stay. - The room was clean. The hotel was a little run down and I expected a little more for the price but it was just a stop on our way through. For one night it was not a bad hotel. The hotel could use some updating. The rooms were clean, and everything worked as well as I could tell. We didn't use the television and the wifi was good. The beds were comfortable, and the room was cool.
- John (8/5): Nice pet friendly hotel. - This is a pet friendly hotel. The room smelled clean. I did have to pay $30 for having my pet in the room. I did not have the breakfast. I only looked at the options and it did not seem to have many, but it did say it had eggs available. The bed was very comfortable.
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (8/5): Quick stop in Meridian. - Clean room. Comfortable bed. Temperature control good. Unfortunately, our room was near the outdoor staircase, and we heard loud movements at 6 am. Not much selection at breakfast, but enough to hit the road.
- Junior (1/5): Bad - When we got there and checked into our room we got into our room. We noticed the room wasn't clean. The air wasn't on. It was stuff on the the desk. The nightstand that should have been wiped off and it wasn't wiped off. Then you go to the bathroom. It was dirty. It had a black ring around the tub and what look like dog hair. We have stayed at Best Western hotels before and they were nothing like this. We went and bought cleaning supplies and tiles to clean the tub out for us to take a bath. The bed was made halfway and the sheets were dirty.
- O9733NVjerryp (10/5): Driving from Iowa to Orange Beach Alabama this Motel was Perfect! Very Clean! Friendly and welcoming! - Clean and comfortable rooms/beds, reasonable rates and a hot breakfast too!
After a long day driving from Iowa on our way to Orange Beach Alabama this was just what we needed!
We got here about 9 pm and check in was fast and friendly.
We will be Back 👍
- Katherine (10/5): - The area was quiet and felt relatively safe. The fridge and heat made a bit of noise but not bad.
- michael (8/5): - Something different
- Amber (6/5): - Room smelt like cigarette smoke really bad and had an ash tray handy on the table inside. Granted it was clean. I didn’t realize it was more of a “motel” than a hotel. Would I stay again, nope not at all. Was not worth $130 stay at all.
- Jack (8/5): - Clean rooms, comfortable bed. Breakfast was ok
- Susan (7/5): Good -
- Moore (9/5): Superb -
- Youngmook (1/5): "I requested an invoice - "I requested an invoice during check-in, but I was told I could get it during check-out. However, when I asked for it again at check-out, I was told I could obtain it from booking.com, and they refused to provide me with an invoice until the end. The accommodation had a slight odor, and there was no shampoo in the shower, so I had to use conditioner only. This is an experience I never want to have again."
- PattyR31 (4/5): Just okay - Just okay, nothing special. Lobby is nicely renovated, the rooms should have been first! Heater in room blew barely warm air, even though we turned it up to 85!! Needed to get a blanket from the front desk. Bedside light didn’t work and cold water was just a trickle.
Breakfast consists of warm coffee and “orange juice”, bread, mini bagels, yogurt, waffles, and cereal.
There are many other options available in the area, you get what you pay for.
- Carol (6/5): Not an interior hotel. Enter room from outside. - This hotel did not meet our expectations with the continental breakfast. Offered waffle maker and hard boiled eggs. Juice was out. Offered yogurt and apples. I expected more from the Best Western name. Very small dining area, which was good since I was the only one there to eat.
The room was clean and offered shampoo, conditioner and body was in shower. Liquid hand soap at sink. Room was clean and comfy. quiet area for good night sleep.
