- Christopher (8/5): Wonderful 8 days at Dhabkwan resort - Very attentive and kind staff. Beautiful setting and gorgeous villa. Delicious breakfasts! Perfect if looking for somewhere out of the high intensity of bangkok but still close enough to dip into town when wanted. 5 minute cab to Nonthaburi pier, same amount of time to get to Yaek Nonthaburi station for easy and cheap access to the centre of the city. The traditional style Thai villa is incredibly romantic with the lily pond underneath the balcony. Wasn't too sure on restaurant opening times and couldn't get any hot water for the hot tub. Very minor inconveniences though and I'm sure we could have got our answers if we had chased it up as staff were all more than happy to help, but it didn't really affect us enough to worry.
