- Jody (8/5): Wonderful hotel, centrally located to all Williams has to offer - disappointed about celebration - Room was very nice; big windows, very light. Barn door for bathroom is perfect for the Inn theme, but hard to open and shut and shut completely. Bathroom is decent size, shower very good, but could use a fan. My biggest complaint was that the Barn did not let many of us in Friday night as they were "at capacity," but there seemed to be quite a lot of room in the space. We were informed we could buy drinks and bring them to the lobby and then were told by employees to keep our voices down there were people sleeping. It was a weekend celebration for many of us and the Williams Inn was our home base/headquarters.

- Theresa (10/5): Very relaxing and comfortable get away! - The staff was awesome! Restaurant was delicious!
Rooms were extremely clean and roomy! Would recommend this hotel highly! Not much to do around the area. Had to travel about 25 minutes to find things to go.

- Liz (10/5): Fabulous, definitely would stay again! - The hotel hallways and rooms were very bright and very clean. The staff at the front desk were very friendly. There was also a restaurant on site that was opened later than most restaurants in the area so we were able to enjoy a late night cocktail. Everything was great!
- Melodie (10/5): -
- David (10/5): - Excellent friendly staff. The breakfast was very good. The room was very comfortable and appointed well. The location is close to restaurants in the town.
- Tony (10/5): Would come back again and have already recommended to travel companions - Beverages station on every floor absolutely wonderful No complaints
- Richard (5/5): disappointing - The heating/AC system was very noisy ... it interupted a nights sleep ... I was told there is nothing you could do about it ... for almost $300/night ... one should be able to get a quiet nights sleep !!!

- Marie (8/5): Huge rooms, great coffee/tea station - The Williams Inn is gorgeous, the rooms are huge, we got a very affordable upgrade for a much larger room with two individual beds, which we really enjoyed. The heating was adjustable and each floor has an amazing coffee and tea station with several milks, which I appreciated and made great use of; thank you! Housekeeping was great as well. The only thing I want to mention here that the walls are paper-thin and the poorly soundproofed rooms. We had trouble falling asleep two out of the four nights because we were sandwiched between two rooms of which one had the tv going much too loud and the other had kids jumping around until late. Something to consider if one travels for business.

- X2518ARwilliamw (10/5): Wonderful - Our stay was for a wedding in north Adams, this location was perfect walk to down down Williams Town, we explored the William campus and had a wonderful time. if you are in the area on Sunday lots of things close early.
- Don (10/5): - A well designed property that has everything you need
- Roy (3/5): - Wasn't worth the money- broken glasses and furniture, no basic facilities
Disappointing

- dandL1390HI (10/5): Great experience in restaurant - Did not stay here but ate in the restaurant and i t was top notch! Service was ecellent. It was wife's birthday and when they realized this each of the staff who worked with us wished her a happy birthday! The food was top rate and not terribly expensive.
- Darren (10/5): - Lovely clean room with a fabulous shower.
Tea/coffee available 24 hours with a choice of milks which is great. Refillable glass bottle in the room to collect fresh water which meant no plastic bottles.
Plenty of parking, cosy lobby and restaurant food excellent.
- James (10/5): - Totally unique Nothing
- Suezoo (6/5): - Average
- Brian (10/5): - What a hidden gem!! The Williams Inn is a lovely place to stay. It is beautifully decorated, clean and has great features like the free coffee station which also features a filtered water and seltzer machine. The restaurant was pricey so we didn’t eat there. We ate breakfast at the Spring street market & cafe. Cute little place popular with the college students. Dinner we ate at the Water Street Grill. Good food and good prices. The must see in the area is the Clark Art Institute. A wonderful museum with an amazing art collection. We will definitely return to the Williams Inn

- Jane (10/5): Wonderful stay in Williamstown! - Clean great location. Great staff . Coffe bar in hallway Nothing
- Timothy (10/5): - Nice place to stay for a wedding
- Jill (10/5): -
- Stephen (10/5): - The rooms are excellent in every way, big, very clean and lovely bathrooms
- Christine (10/5): Definitely recommend - Hotel seems very new though it is 5 years old. Restaurant is good. Coffee bar on each floor is a great service.
Great value.
- William (10/5): Modern hotel in great location for visiting museums in Williamstown and North Adams. -
- Deborah (10/5): - Lovely place with lovely people. Food is great.
- Catherine (10/5): - Very helpful and friendly front desk staff. The room was lovely!
- Travel_LadyNYC (10/5): Very nice, upscale hotel - The Williams Inn is a very nice, upscale hotel.
Congenial front desk staff, beautiful facility with comfortable, elegant seating and other gathering spaces in the common areas. Very close to the town center for walking around. Each floor landing has a set-up for making coffee and a water machine including seltzer. (In the room, there is a glass bottle that you can fill at this station with filtered water. I really appreciated this nod to healthier non-plastic drinking, as well as readily available filtered water.)
The standard room we stayed in was spacious and well-designed. The window opens partway; HVAC seems to only have heat or AC, no fan. We had a lovely view of trees out the window. Plenty of power charging outlets on the side of the desk and the night tables. The chair at the desk is a wooden one, not adjustable, which certainly looks more attractive, but is a drawback if you plan to do a lot of work at the desk.
Well-designed bathroom; large, though not bright. Instead of an annoying loud ventilating fan so common in hotels, there is a constant quiet stream of ventilation. Nice shower and plenty of towels. There are no fancy amenities, but there is a magnifying mirror. If you leave the light on, it dims at some point; very convenient for a night-time visit.
The restaurant: excellent service; breakfast was very good and reasonably priced.
- daphned519 (10/5): The Williams Inn. A Gracious Comfortable Berkshire Experience - A conveniently central location in the Berkshires and a welcoming exterior upon arriving. There is a CALM and TRANQUILITY on entering the spacious Lobby and within the Williams Inn, as a whole. The ENTIRE INTERIOR, Lobby, Sitting Area, Cocktail Gathering, Dining Room, Hallways and Rooms are well appointed and gracious in its country-like simplicity. The Rooms are very well appointed and very well serviced by the household staff. The Dining Room offers an unpretentious Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menu, with a variety of options all tasty and attractively plated . Excellent service as well ! I thoroughly enjoy my visits to the Inn and the diversity of guests (and their pets)
- Michael (10/5): - Great hotel. Food and drinks were very good. Not much to do in the town but a great place for walking.
- Nancy (10/5): - Beautiful hotel with amazing service, nice rooms and a great bar/restaurant right on the property. Very convenient for a business trip!
- Douglas (10/5): - Both the inn itself and its location are lovely, just steps away from the shops and restaurants of Williamstown, and a few miles south of the border with Vermont. The staff were uniformly friendly, and the food was excellent. We will return.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Lovely, spacious room with a luxury feel. A fantastic hotel.
- Laura (10/5): - Beautiful property! Loved the coffee bar
and the fitness room! Megan was gracious at
check-in!
- Simon (10/5): - very good location, there is forest in the back and colleague playground. and the reception is so nice and patient. very good rooms. fully recommended.
- David (10/5): An idyllic stay in the Purple Valley - The Williams inn is spectacular. Comfortable and beautiful and in the perfect location for enjoying Williamstown. Highly recommended! Nothing.
- Debra (8/5): - Fabulous food and bartender.
But be prepared to bring your own bar of soap and a drinking glass—room was lacking in these basic amenities
- Patricia (10/5): -
- Stephen (10/5): Lovely Property - Great stay - lovely property only a 2 minute walk from the Williams campus. Rooms are large, clean, and lots of natural light. Parking is very easy.
- Aurelie (9/5): -
- peter (10/5): - Nice hotel, good location
Large rooms
But noisy aircon
- Louis (10/5): - Modern hotel in excellent location for travelers to Williams College or the Clark art museum.
- Barbara (10/5): - Exceptional in every way
- MaryJo (10/5): Expensive but worth it - This was our third stay and we'll keep coming back. Lovely building in lovely setting-- in the middle of town, perfect for visiting the Clark museum. One of the most comfortable hotels we've stayed in, from the bed to the bathroom to the spacious lobby areas. Wonderful restaurant, The Barn, on site. The beverages station on each floor provides free still or sparkling water and high quality coffee and tea. No fake "coffee creamer"--there are various milks in the fridge. It's expensive, though we see why, and you need to book far ahead.
- Young (8/5): - Good stay
- Kimberly (10/5): - Nice and cozy hotel, I hope to come back later in the future
- Betsy (10/5): - Beautiful atmosphere and grounds.
- Michael (10/5): - Great hotel, staff and restaurant!
- mark1336 (10/5): Amazing stay - We had a wonderful 2 night stay at The Williams Inn. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Great location within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We stayed for breakfast both days which was excellent and the staff were friendly. We also stayed for dinner at the restaurant both evenings and again the food did not disappoint. We particularly felt that the hotel has a great barman in Gregg. He was friendly and we enjoyed our conversations with him whilst at the bar. All in all couldn’t fault anything at this hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
- Nikki (10/5): -
- Joan (10/5): - Great location, pretty property, spacious room and bath.
- Bryan (10/5): - Wonderful stay in Williamstown!
- Mahoney (10/5): A restful warm summer night at the inn, with a short walk to the Clark o the Clark. - I particularly loved the beautiful grounds and friendly staff. Dinner there was also exceptional.
- SIDNEY (10/5): - Great stay
- Conor (9/5): Best stay in Williamstown. - Spacious bedrooms and hallway. Nice coffee and ice services on each floor. Very convenient for anyone visiting the college town or museums of the Clark institute or Mass Moca.
- Higeong (10/5): - Clean
- Jane (9/5): -
- Bankguy1961 (10/5): Wow - One of the nicest hotels that we have ever stayed in. The room was well decorated and large. Well furnished. Black out shades like none I have ever seen before. It is possible to make it seem like midnight in the middle of the day. Clean. Great bar and restaurant on site. Close proximity to downtown and the college. Convenient free parking.
- John (4/5): DID NOT MEET EXPECTATIONS - This was a return trip to this property, which we usually enjoy very much. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, and the bathrooms are beautifully designed. We expected to be able to get into our room by 3 PM, but we’re not able to get in to the room until just after 5 PM. I immediately wrote an email to the hotel management, and now more than 24 hours later have not received a response. When we went downstairs to the restaurant for dinner, the two hostesses were away from the desk, and as they walked up to the desk, they were in a conversation. When they saw us, they stared at us blankly, and finally asked, can I help you? Why else would we be standing there except that we wanted to be seated in the restaurant? We told them that we were hotel guests, but did not have a reservation, so although the restaurant was only perhaps 10% filled, they insisted that our only options were to sit at the community table in the bar, or at the bar, or outside. We did choose to sit outside, but they did fail to tell the wait person. When we left the restaurant, we noticed that it was not even half full. This was a discouraging experience, to say the least.
- Heather (10/5): - Beautiful hotel!
- David (10/5): - Wife loved it.
- Gregory (9/5): Superb -
- Thomas (8/5): Very relaxing. - Spacious comfortable clean room. My wife was thrilled with the magnifying mirror. Liked everything.
- Smith (10/5): The best stay of our USA trip! - Currently touring the East side of America from the UK. So far this has been the best accommodation we have stayed in. Room was spacious and clean. Staff were attentive and friendly. We particularly enjoyed spending time at the hotel bar and casual conversation with Gregg. He made us feel very welcome. We stayed at The Barn for breakfast and dinner and had a fabulous meal every time. We would love to stay again in the future. Nothing
- GregArnold (10/5): Stay in Williamstown - Outstanding hotel. everything was perfect. The staff, the rooms, the food, everything was perfect. Highly recommend staying here.
- Marcella (10/5): - The property was spacious but still had a cozy feel.
- Dennis (9/5): Room A, Food C - Room is large, we'll appointed, comfortable. The Barn Restaurant. Food is mediocre at best. Seating looks great, but too "lounge-y" too enjoy dinner. Freezing cold AC. But very good service.
- Diane (10/5): Lovely as usual. - We have dear friends in Williamstown and we always stay here when we visit because it’s lovely. It just keeps getting more and more expensive. Also, the parking lot doesn’t appear to be adequate. We had a guest for breakfast on Saturday and the brunch menu was the only thing available with no normal things like omelettes available.
- Carrie (10/5): - We did not care for the barn door to the bathroom. Wouldn't stay closed and large gap meant a loud radio or TV required... Otherwise, our stay was great and we would definitely recommend it.
- carol (8/5): - My daughter and I stayed here overnight for a Williams visit. Very convenient, upscale hotel - basically in the middle of campus. My daughter did not like the modern farmhouse vibe, but I thought it worked well with the location.
- 593allisons (10/5): Great hotel in Williamstown - Great hotel in the middle of town, yet surrounded by nature. Staff and accommodations are perfect for families and/or business. Rooms are spacious, modern and immaculate. It was really nice to be able to stroll into town for shopping and ice cream. Will definitely come back for another stay.
- Denise (5/5): Housekeeping poor - Near Main Street with restaurants. Woods surrounding Woods and quier
- Lee (4/5): - Check in at front desk was with a person (male, not an Anglo name) who was very upset and rude. Badmouthed the hotel and the cleaning staff because they wouldn't return his walkie talkie message asking if room was ready. Not offered an upgrade, got a $7.00 bottle of wine. Not a big deal. It was very loud in the hallways at night and in the morning at 9 am by the cleaning staff.
- Juan (10/5): - Hrwat
- Xiaohui (8/5): - The Williams Inn is very close to Williams college and the Clark museum, both in walking distance. Very good food and services. The place is new or remodeled. Water and coffee available at each floor. I like the decor a lot.
One thing that I didn't give a 5 stars is that the room clean service didn't clean the hard floor area. I did put a five dollar bill for tips before I left.
- David (10/5): - Great location. Loved the coffee/water options on the room floors. Grounds were very nice and quiet. Very pet friendly Exceptionally clean and well maintained
- Kelly (10/5): - We came for a college camp. We had a great one night stay in a beautiful setting,
- James (9/5): Wonderful! - Lovely, helpful staff. We’ll be back! Parking (on a Saturday evening) was an issue but there was an overflow lot nearby.
- April (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sandra (10/5): - Wonderful stay. Helpful, professional staff.
- Kathleen (10/5): Exceptional -
