Cameshia (1/5): I feel like they robbed me. The conditions were horrible. - The location- right by the interstate It was nasty. Dead and alive bugs EVERYWHERE. Stains on the sheets. Nothing but the WiFi worked in the room. They couldn’t provide clean towels in a timely manner.
kimberly (1/5): I would rather have a homeless person hug me than stay here ever again. - Quiet location, that’s it. Arrived around 9pm due to driving down from Rhode Island. Arrived and nobody was at the desk, called the number provided and was told to wait 3 minutes which needed up being 20 minutes. Called again and was told “1 more minute” which ended up being about another 5 minutes. The property manager drove into the lot and then proceeded to check me in. He also had told me they had no hot water, so I guess no showering! Upon entering the room I noticed that it had a very stale scent, the heat was blasting on high when the temperature outside was 70°. There was no smoke detector, just wires hanging from the ceiling where I assume there would be a smoke detector. The toilet seat was actually disgusting and there were poop stains in the toilet.

Old pictures that had been removed from the wall in the dresser drawers. A condom was also in the drawer- gladly it was unused. Room was cluttered, maybe it had been used for storage.

johanne (4/5): - Grand frigidaire c'était le seul element et premiere étage avec parking en face de la chambre! Je pense que la chambre n'avait pas été nettoyer depuis un boute. Une débarbouillette était sur le bord de la douche utilisé et sécher la. J'ai laver les meubles , lavabo et frigidaire. J'ai coucher habiller, pas pris ma douche entrée le strict nécessaire. J'étais trop fatigué pour changer de place. J'ai trouver des bebittes mortes par terre près du lit Le lavabo, coulait par terre et coulait tres lentement. J'étais contente d'avoir ma débarbouillette . La chambre et l'équipement était acceptable mais la propreté inacceptable . L'office etait sale ainsi que l'entrée de la chambre dehors.Même s'il y aurait eu un déjeuner ou même un café, je l'aurais pas prit.

Had i not been driving all day I Absolutely would have turned around and got back in my truck. Worst inn I have ever stayed in. Also there was a floss stick in the light fixture. ME- Adam (5/5): I'd come back. Just hope the bathroom is cleaner... maybe some minor upgrades and or repairs on the bathroom . And - Great location for me, staff was very nice .. it is basically what it is as advertised. Not gonna be a luxury stay . For the most part the property and room were nice enough. For the the price . The only issue appeared to be the bathroom wasn't actually cleaned. And it was 100 degrees in the room with ok a/c on at all. The bathroom , while I may have been cleaned at some point. Wasn't. I purchased bathroom cleaner with bleach while out . Sprayed it down and it came clean from mold and mildew with into a few minutes. The wall & ceiling( in a non smoking room) looked like it had never been even whipped with a good amount of tar stains and some mold issue where the paint was bubbling but there was a hole in the wall.... I have cleaned those for decades, both parents smoked ... and I cleaned that crud of the walls and ceiling a lot. That is the only real issue. Staff was very nice, location... no a bad stay , just needs some tlc and better cleaning.

Laurie (2/5): Unsafe, uncaring staff - Property was not clean and the room next door had a kicked in door. Front desk agent had no sympathy for this and said "oh, a guest couldn't get in their door" thinking this was an adequate explanation. As a solo older woman traveling, I immediately left the property and spent $260 at Natural Bridge Hotel to be in a safe location. There was no way I was going to spend another moment in this unsafe, unclean property.
Darlene H (6/5): Small rooms, great value. - For the price they charge if you just need a place to sleep for the night, the room was clean and I really appreciated that the windows opened and there was an exhaust fan in the bathroom. There was a nice refrigerator and microwave and the television had many channels. It is an old building and is in desperate need of updating. The room was the smallest hotel room I've ever been in, but it worked for a place to sleep and the price was right. The front desk was accommodating. The neighborhood seemed very safe. Just be aware it's very old and run down.
Saida (5/5): It was better than sleeping in my car - In the middle of nowhere it was one of two places to choose from and it had a slightly higher rating than the other one. Luckily, they had non-smoking rooms available, with working fridge, light and water. The towels were clean. The bed was OK. Very old, smelly, and run down. One of the room doors had literally a hole in it like it was kicked open, which did not help with uneasy feeling around the place. Weed smell was everywhere.
Jorge (6/5): - The place is very close to the natural bridge, (4mi) and close enough to Lexington as well. The rooms are a bit dated, the bed had a burn mark (non smoking room...?) and it allows pets. The room next door had a dog that kept barking every time I moved around my room. There are probably better options out there.
Carrie (4/5): - The staff at this hotel were extremely friendly and helpful, which I truly appreciated. Unfortunately, the condition of the property itself made for a very poor experience. The water had such a bad taste that I drove across the street to buy bottled water. There were plumbing issues, with drains—including the shower—backing up. The bed required some repair when we arrived, though it was comfortable after we fixed it. One of the room doors had a large hole in it, which looked like it had been kicked in. Weeks later, we drove by again and noticed the same door still hadn’t been repaired, leaving a gap large enough for animals to get in. I feel bad leaving this review because the staff were wonderful, but I would not stay here again.
Diana (1/5): Do not stay here - It was close to the natural bridge. It has 2 gas station next door. Ac worked good and was quite. No front desk. Had to call and wait for the guy to return. Felt like a hassle. TV didn't work..Had flies smelled bad. Was not sure if it was clean . The shower knobs were the opposite. Door frame was cracked like it got kicked in. No one to give receipt when leaving.

Property had been renovated within past year or so to include wall and trim re-paint; new TV, refrigerator, air conditioner. Could not locate/install TV access card. TV would not operate. Most handles/fittings were coated in old, chipped paint. Many corners/edges not well cleaned/painted.

Room "recently renovated" (not mentioned at check-in" but no room lighting, no working TV, dirty shower, didn't want to touch anything (cleanliness). No smoke detector (hole in wall), NO DEADBOLT OR CHAIN ON DOOR, only knob lock. Large gap between door and floor (safety, vermin). No amenities. Paid same price as Holiday Inn as supposedly this was the last room on the interstate in all of Virginia! Sheets on bed were clean.

Carpet was dropped over existing floor but not installed. Refrigerator had something leak, dry on the bottom, and it was still there. The customer service at check-in was amazing. The beds were comfortable and we felt safe and what made it even better was that our vehicle was literally right outside our door.
Clinton (2/5): - This place was by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed in my life. Absolutely filthy. Property is disrepair. There were bugs and even boogers on the wall, not joking. The smell, I’m still trying to figure out as well. I am well traveled and just needed a place to stop and sleep but damn! Please NEVER do this to yourself…just keep driving.
Patricia (2/5): - Worst place I’ve ever stayed. Sink was clogged, drain trap r leaked water onto floor, fridge didn’t work, TV didn’t work,smelled like cigarettes.
