• Takako (8/5): Great individual hot tub with private patio. - I liked the coffee and tea maker as well as the included dishes to use. I liked the robe. Having our own hot tub was nice. Breakfast served in our room was luxurious. Included soap and shampoo was luxurious. I loved the upstairs outdoor patio The shower water temperature was terrible. It was ice cold forever. Then it wound get hot and cold and hot and cold. Not ideal. The air purifier was noisy. The charger outlets near the TV did not work to charge our phones.
• Anna (9/5): We felt very well taken care of, a great stay! - The staff was absolutely lovely and helpful. We felt at home right away, even though some do speak little English. A traditional breakfast was served inside the room. An entire feast, very satisfying and with lots of variety. Dinner also was quite the showstopper and not expensive at all for what we got. The room was very spacious and cosy, perfectly clean and with lots of small amenities. The room's view consists of a wall with a waterfall cascading down. This was a little noisy at night. This is the only complaint I had and could be overcome by the ear plugs that were also provided by the hotel.

Breakfast must be booked in advanced together with booking the room. They could not do it if we told them when checking in. Open air onsen bathtub in unit was too hot to dip in.
• Celeste (10/5): It’s the most memorable part of my trip - Excellent services, they really make you feel like a VIP to the hotel, they welcome you to your room with welcome cake and drink of your choice and do the checking in the dining room of your room, a big thank you to everyone that served us, all of you did more than a great job, amenities from ferragamo and la mer, good breakfast, close to a number of ski resorts, walking to the hotel form the station takes 5-10 mins only depending on how much you are carrying, they can send a shuttle to pick you up if you call them anyways, the room is huge with private indoor and outdoor onsen. Not much, a hinge on one of the closet doors and the humidifier downstairs need some repair and that’s all

• David (8/5): Recommended - The Four Seasons section of the hotel is the upscale accommodation of a larger hotel. The lobby area and general service is shared by the Four Seasons area and is 3.5 star. The maisonette room we stayed in was 5 star as a facility and the service we received attaching to the room was also 5 star. Our rate included "half board" which means breakfast and dinner and we had our personal butler to serve and cook both meals which was to a very high standard.
• Abdullah (8/5): Close to echigo station - This 4 room hotel is linked and shares the lobby with other hotels. I suggest if your on a short skiing trip, the onsen was a nice surprise. There wasnt options to go have a meal at and the area is quite limited so you will end up visiting the station for your eating needs
• Mandy (10/5): Very nice duplex with private onsen! - Love the private onsen in this two-story maisonette, perfect after a ski/snowboarding day or just to unwind and relax. Very nice decor and well equipped with all the necessities.
