Al momento dell’arrivo però fortunatamente ci ha accolti una ragazza giovane carina e cordiale.

Das Restaurant ist sehr gepflegt und wird seinem guten Ruf gerecht. Mit minimalstem Gepäck reisen ist angebracht. Schöne Terrasse mit Blick in die Hügel. Leider super Aussehen, aber sehr minimalistisch und in Teilen nicht praktisch. Ein vollverglastes Bad (einschließlich WC!) ist nicht jedermanns Sache. Die Beleuchtung am Bett. Sehr schick, aber nicht so einstellbar, dass lesen im Bett möglich ist.

If you don't want to be in crowds, this area......is unbelieveable. Venice is nice, Como Lake nice, but this area is different and relaxing and truly a wonderful experience. If you ride motorcycles and have done 'tail of the dragon'...... this is a factor of 10x better than the tail.....

Not the last time we drop by this place. But be aware that the restaurant is closed on Tuesday so it is only possible to get the pre-ordered breakfast.

My colleagues also ordered some great wines from the area. The food was okay, but not really sophisticated and in rather large portions, which some will of course appreciate.
- tofs (8/5): Country hospitality with Class! - From earlier reviews of La Rosina we expected to find a country-style B & B with indifferent bathroom facilities but the only thing country-style was the hospitality, which was warm and friendly, if lacking a little polish. La Rosina has recently undergone some major restoration and refurbishment both in the rooms and in the general areas. The whole of the lower floor inside and out was of a very high standard, unexpected for something so far out of town. The Dining room is splendid, the service was excellent and professional and they have a chef who is just brilliant. The rooms are smallish but adequate and our Bathroom was modern and functional. The view from our room was spectacular, we could see right across the valley to the Castle at Marostica. The outside terrace too enjoys the same view and we were sorry not to have a chance to dine out there. La Rosina is a favourite haunt of the cycling fraternity as it is high up a hill so access is difficult if you don't have a car. If you do, then you can take advantage of trips to Marostica, a fabulous walled city with a bustling market in the square on Sundays and a serious climb up a cobbled lane to the Castle Superiore high on the hill. The neighbouring town of Bassano del Grappa is also worth a visit to see its ancient bridge and much more. The whole weekend was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and we would love to visit La Rosina again.

This place reminded me of an old German Gasthaus in the 1970s the rooms were large the bathroom was dire and dirty and the bed was uncomfortable and the shutters on our window would not shut. However it was situated in the most glorious position with lovely views. The food apparently was excellent as it was full of locals and we ate very well in their sister restaurant up in the castle of Marostica. Breakfast was good. The cost was very reasonable but I would not have been happy to stay for more than one night
- BertilB490 (8/5): Wonderful situated Hotel - This wonderfuly situated Hotel in the hills just outside the medieval city of Marostica has not many rooms but nice and a very good restaurant which offers local specialities.Has visited this Hotel many times and has always been very pleased with service rooms and restaurant.
- JonfromDallas (10/5): Best Stay in Marostica - I'm amazed that the Hotel La Rosina has never been reviewed on TripAdvisor, because this is by far the best place to stay in Marostica. But I have to qualify my recommendation, for this small inn is not in Marostica proper and that's what makes it special. Perched on a hillside overlooking the San Floriano Valley, La Rosina is best known for hosting the famous cyclists of the Giro di Italia. You may very well stay in a room once occupied by a racing champion. Just steps from the hotel is the ultra modern Chiesetta del Ciclista, a chapel dedicated to these heroes. You are truly standing on hallowed ground for cycling fans. Each of the ten large nicely-furnished rooms has a private balcony with panoramic views of the surrounding valleys. Hardwood floors, free WiFi, a mini bar and flat screen TV, AC, room service and an en suite bath tops the list of amenities. There is a welcoming lobby and small collection of cycling memorabilia to remind you of where you are. Each morning you'll be awaken by the cuckoo and the moo and bell of the local dairy cow. Rise early to walk the road leading to the next village and pass neatly tended gardens and vineyards. Then return for an excellent breakfast in the highly-rated Restaurant La Rosina. Lunch and dinner are served nightly and can be included in your room tariff. I have visited Marostica often, and La Rosina is my No. 1 choice of accommodations in the area.
