Guest Reviews
- Wilson (9/5): - ALWAYS A BEAUTIFUL STAY
- Susan (9/5): - The location was about half way on a long trip as well as being close to where I grew up, so it was great for us. We appreciated the bathroom, which had been upgraded and was very nice, as well as a bench to put suitcases on, the separate sink area, and light in the ceiling which were dimmable. Lots of pillows too! Staff were lovely, and breakfast was good. Growing up nearby, I expected Brewster, but this was North of town and therefore confusing to me. It would have been nice to be able to open windows, but I guess they were afraid of A/C running while people had the windows open.
- Ann-Marie (7/5): We enjoyed our stay felt the room was overpriced for the comfort level. - The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The grounds were well kept, and the room was very clean. The bed was very uncomfortable. Very hard. Not firm but hard. Definitely need to upgrade the pillows to new ones. They were very worn and uncomfortable.
- HalukB (10/5): -
- Jessica (8/5): Excellent stay at Heidi’s - Very clean, dog friendly, and well maintained motel. The staff was excellent and very friendly. The grounds are very pretty. Breakfast is included. The rooms were quiet - we never heard our neighbors. AC worked great for the hot weather. The pool was drained but it’s only May so maybe they are getting it ready for summer? They need new towels - current ones are pretty tired.
- Sanchez (9/5): -
- Sarah (9/5): - Efficient check in, very clean room, comfortable beds, very spacious.
- Noemy (7/5): Très bon rapport qualité prix. - Très bon petit déjeuner et bon accueil. J'aurais aimé avoir une chambre moins près de la route. Cependant la nuit a été calme et il n y avait pas beaucoup de circulation.
- Limberg (9/5): - The room was very clean, but the smell from the product used was very strong. We had to leave the front door open and turn on fans to air it out. For my wife the bed was on the hard side.
- Mary (10/5): Great accommodations, great people, and great value. -
- Tamara (10/5): Perfect getaway - This place is great. Friendly staff, very clean room and the room was huge. The grounds and absolutely beautiful. Its dog friendly which is a plus and plenty of places to walk them.

- Danielle (10/5): Very happy with accommodations and staff. - Staff was very friendly and accommodating. n/a

No water in rooms. Buildings looked dumpy

- pam (10/5): Excellent stay at Heidi’s Inn!! We will be back for our next gig at Darryl’s House. Thank you!! - Heidi’s Inn is a rare gem. The smell of the fireplace burning when we checked in with Laurel at the front desk was great! There were tables, chairs and a couch near the fireplace which was also where the continental breakfast was served! Our room was recently renovated and was perfectly clean.
RIP Mr. DIggins
- Donavon (6/5): - Size of room Limited breakfast options
Some lights not working
- Matthew (10/5): -
- John (10/5): Comfortable and peaceful accommodation - Big room, very clean, with everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful with walking trails and lots of trees and flowers. Staff is wonderful. Friendly and helpful. Maybe a bit more variety in the breakfast.
- John (9/5): Comfortable and relaxing stay - We love the grounds. Beautiful expanse with walking trails, trees and flowers. The room is large and comfortable. The staff is so friendly and treat our dog really well. Breakfast could use a bit more variety.
- Stephen (9/5): -
- Laura (8/5): -
- George (10/5): - The property is beautiful and the rooms are renovated and clean.
- Kinney (10/5): All the comforts of home - Clean! Peaceful, comfortable, friendly.
Breakfast offering was nutritional.
- Cristina (7/5): -
- Kevin (8/5): - Loved the location! My room having two entrances was not ideal.
- Brian (10/5): -
- Alita (4/5): I went in the winter so it wasn’t a good experience. Perhaps the experience is different in the summer. - Daily housekeeping, small refrigerator, microwave, has outdoor pool but its closed for the season and the convenience of the next door Mexican restaurant. Bed is hard, shower glass is only halfway enclosed so water gets everywhere, thin walls, heater is so loud that we had to turn it off when we sleep, couldn’t access Netflix, Prime, etc. on their tv, continental breakfast (coffee, tea, muffins, bread, hard boil eggs, juice, yogurt, oranges and sometimes bananas). We have to walk outside our unit to get to the breakfast area. The road next to it is very busy, especially if you’re doing a left turn.
- Kathryn (10/5): This is a charming inn with clean, comfortable rooms & a very welcoming staff. - This inn welcomed my friends and I as we found ourselves stranded in Brewster during a blizzard. Everyone was exceptionally welcoming and kind, especially as guests navigated clearing off cars and alternating travel plans amidst a severe winter storm.
- THERESA (10/5): Friendly staff, comfortable accommodations and good value. - Location Nothing
- lyn (10/5): My trip is always a peaceful one. It is clean, the staff is friendly, and they go out of their way to make you feel comf - I love the property because it feels homey. I can’t think of anything negative to say.
- Angel (9/5): -
- Kaitie (10/5): -
- Frank (10/5): -
- Beth (10/5): - Great pool. Lovely property.
- Richard (10/5): Worth the stay. You won't be disappointed. - I feel foolish for not asking for her name, but the person who greeted us at the front desk and checked us out was beyond exceptional. Pleasant, courteous and professional.
Also, the room we stayed in had just gone through a bathroom makeover and it was better than most bathrooms I've come in contact with while traveling. I can't think of anything.
- Iryna (9/5): -
- Lyndley (9/5): -
- Paige (10/5): -
- Olivier (10/5): We are travelling from Switzerland. We loved it, will come back. - clean - nice team - good breakfast - very good value for money
- Gavin (10/5): -
- Nada (10/5): - We were impressed with the dilligence of the stall in every respedt We did not have any faults to talk about .. It met all our needs and expectations
- Thomas (9/5): -
- Liliana (10/5): - Limpio, cómodo, entorno tranquilo. Servicios cerca.
- Carnevale (8/5): Overall, very enjoyable! - Location, ambience (large fire place with crackling fire), staff. Hot water heat for bathroom had air in the system and would make noise at different times.
- jillamer (10/5): Excellent as always! - Exceptional staff - warm welcome and very accommodating. Room was clean, comfortable, spacious and well heated. Breakfast had plenty of options and all were delicious. nothing.
- Carole (10/5): Loved it! - Very clean, quaint hotel. Super nice staff. Definitely will return! Nothing
- Sophie et Laurent (10/5): -
- Erika (8/5): -
- Anthony (10/5): The best. - First and foremost, I'd like the fact that the place was clean and very homey. The neighbors were quiet and it was very warm and smelled amazing. In the morning, time when I went to
Leave or check out.
I was greeted by Miss Jenn who i had nothing but positive vibes. And invited me to the area where there was a fire and food and coffee. Like I said, before, was very homey. And there was a lot of good people there that was around the fire as well. That I had to leave.
- Brent (8/5): -
- Kammie (9/5): Aesthetically pleasing and welcoming. - The setting with the trees and hill and paths is probably pretty in every season. There is a fireplace in the breakfast area and many plants. Lots to look at inside and out. Very busy road. Taking a left in or out means crossing traffic and could be dangerous.
The beds weren’t very comfortable.
- Dylan (8/5): -
- Marjorie (7/5): Breakfast was so so - the hot oatmeal was cold Coffee was not the best - Recently remodeled bathroom and shower - but the baseboard heat in the bath was turned off so it was cold in there Outdated bed linens and bedroom furniture
- Chris (8/5): -
- Zeytoonian (7/5): Overall, pleasant and we would stay here again, especially if we get a queen bed and renovated bath. - The dining area and by the fireplace was great. Good place to sit and read. The employees were all great to work with and pleasant, accommodating and welcoming. The room was pretty old in its decor and furniture, but good in its size. Would have preferred a queen sized bed but none were available. The bathroom and shower were really small and dark, but it looks like some of those have been renovated and are quite nice. Noce grounds and easy parking right outside the room. See above about the outdated decor and furniture and the small and dark bathroom and shower.
- Jane (10/5): Great friendly inn w pool, nice breakfast by fireplace, friendly staff - Great spot, super convenient to Southeast Train Sta, to NYC. Next to excellent Mexican restaurant. A favorite place of ours. We wish there were lamps on the bedside tables instead of just overhead lighting.
- Veronica A (9/5): Great place to feel like your away from traffic and close enough to Danbury and in my case , family members - Rustic and comfortable
- Kathleen (8/5): Very pleasant staff members and well kept daily clean rooms. - With the very cold weather the large fireplace going during the breakfast time. There seemed to be some electrical issues for keeping hot water pot available for morning tea.
- Mark (8/5): - The mattress was hard as a rock in both rooms
- Michele (7/5): - La salle petit déjeuner très cosy La chambre trop vieillotte
- Oleary (10/5): -
- Samantha (8/5): -
- Carolyn (8/5): Pleasant, comfortable, cozy - Hilly, grassy, trees, patios with pretty wrought-iron furniture.
Loved the lodge with the fire in the fireplace
- Damaris (10/5): - It was cozy. Next one of the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to (Las Mañanitas).
- Istmaaniianbwai (8/5): - Quiet
- Patricia (10/5): - The breakfast was what I would have expected.
But the breakfast room fire going and light jazz in background was more than I expected.
- Família (7/5): -
- Kayla (10/5): -
- Jawad (10/5): -
- Murray (8/5): Heidi’s Inn is a wonderful place we look forward to revisiting. - We enjoyed our stay. It was our 39th anniversary weekend and we appreciated the beautiful fireplace and breakfast space. We’ll be back to see all of the seasons as the scenery is spectacular. What a relaxing setting. Thanks to the staff who made our stay so memorable! Bathroom was a bit small, but it was very clean and not really an issue
- John (7/5): Nice place stay for and overnight, I can’t comment to much because I was just Passing through - Nice place, good room for an overnight, snack like breakfast which was ok
- John (10/5): -
- Delinda (10/5): - Staff was very friendly and engaging. Although it’s an older motel type stay, the rooms were very clean and comfortable.
- Christopher (10/5): Great staff. Good stay - Nice N/a
- Hugh (10/5): -
- Jonathan (10/5): - I have stayed here a few times the staff is very friendly and the accommodations are extremely clean. Look forward to my next visit.
- vanessa (8/5): -
- Mark (9/5): Nostalgic Stay, Friendly Staff - Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Nostalgic complex. Bed was a little hard. Breakfast a little light, but as advertised.
- David (9/5): Nice friendly place - It was nice place. Breakfast offerings were good. When I arrived the non smoking room they had assigned had an outdoor area that was occupied by the smokers in the rooms next to the nonsmoking room. The staff did reassign me to another nonsmoking room away from the smokers
- Heidi (10/5): - We literally loved everything about this property. Its a hidden gem. So peaceful and cozy. Absolutely wonderful. There's nothing we didn't like about this property.
- Mercè (9/5): Muy cómodo. - Todo muy bien. El sitio, el personal. Muy atentos. La relación calidad precio está muy muy bien. El desayuno quizá podría ser mejor pero por el precio es aceptable.
- C (10/5): great comfortable friendly stay - staff! roomy room
