• Donna (10/5): - We recently stayed at Spark by Hilton after traveling almost 20 hours from Maine to Somerville, South Carolina with our two dogs. We arrived very early in the morning completely exhausted from the long drive, and the staff went above and beyond to help us. They worked very hard to get us into a room early so we could rest, which we truly appreciated. From the moment we arrived, everyone was kind, caring, and attentive. They continued checking in with us to make sure everything was OK and that we were comfortable. The customer service was absolutely excellent and made a stressful trip so much easier. We are very thankful for their hospitality and would highly recommend this hotel.

• Sharon (7/5): Ok since we were out of the room most of the day. How do we spent more time in the room it would hav - Breakfast was fine. Lots of variety. Coffee was excellent. I asked for a handicapped room because I am elderly and my balance is not good. The shower / tub had a seat but it was rather low and the treads in the tub were not great, so when I went to get up I felt as though I was in danger of slipping. The soft water makes rinsing completely hard so my feet still a little bit soapy. I really held my breath every time I got up from the seat. For a handicapped bathroom, there were lots of bars but having to step over a very high tub is not great for an elderly person.

• Julio (3/5): Horrible experience - The location 3:30am alarm going off fire department knocking on everyone door. Had a flooding and alarm continued for over an hour. In morning while bottom floor was flooded and the kitchen eating area was closed down so no breakfast. Was just a horrible stay.

I do wish there was a coffee maker in the room (although there was coffee available in the lobby) and from a personal preference, I wish there had been breakfast meat available. No reflection on the staff but the construction, you could hear every foot step from the people in the room above us.

• Jan (5/5): High cost for a pet & not refundable! - We were able to get a first floor room so my husband could take the dog out easily. They charged $75 for the dog that is a 9 month old GoldenDoodle puppy that doesn’t shed and is totally housebroken. We read online it was $25 and refundable at most of the other hotels and thought it was the same there but I guess that’s why the cost was not listed on their website. Hiding that fact! Won’t stay there next year. I didn’t mind paying it if it was refundable. She was a perfect puppy.

And forgot to bring toothpaste and asked for it with my surprise they couldn’t find anything. And forgot water bottles only the members gets water. This felt a bit weird to be honest. In our country you get water bottles for free no matter the price of the rooms. So maybe cultural differences i dont know but it was something not expected.
