Guest Reviews
- AIVY LOU (8/5): - Quaint room. It is small but it has everything you need.
- Blaine (10/5): - This hotel is amazing! They arranged transportation to and from the port for us, and the guys running this small 7 room hotel were awesome! We were served a fabulous breakfast in our room each morning and the hotel is close to several wonderful restaurants. The sunsets were amazing! I'm glad we chose Imerovigli to stay on Santorini. Fira is walkable from there... at least downhill! We took a bus to Oia and a taxi back to the hotel. Parking is not really an option here although there are lots of motorbike and 4 wheeler rental options. This hotel and this area is incredibly beautiful!
- Georgia (10/5): - Perfect location if you want somewhere quiet whilst also being close to all the main towns and viewpoints as they are only a short drive. Lovely and helpful staff. Would recommend to anyone staying in santorini, great and affordable
- Diana (10/5): - Amazing. Staff is super helpful. Thank to Kostas.
- JULIE (10/5): Wonderful Stay - Everything was amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel.
- Qiu Xiang (10/5): - Kostas and his staff made us feel incredibly welcome and well looked after.
We were upgraded to a large standalone apartment in Santorini Mansion, from an original booking of two separate double rooms in Merovigliosso Apartments (we were shown the rooms in MA and it looked just as clean and comfortable).
The location of the apartment was perfect; it was a 15-20 minute walk to Fira (coming back took a little longer, but that made sense as it was an uphill path getting back to our apartment), there were plenty of restaurants and stores to buy pretty much anything you need, and we had the perfect view of the sunset and the surrounding islands.
Breakfast was brought to us everyday, and room service was always on point.
Communication with the staff members was easy, we were given a lot of helpful information regarding sights to see, places to eat, and local information, e.g., trusted taxi companies, bus stop locations, etc.
I would highly recommend staying at either Santorini Mansions or Merovigliosso Apartments.
- Anis (10/5): - Thank you
- Milionia (10/5): Absolutely enchanting! - The hospitality at this quaint hotel is next level. The small staff immediately feel like caring family members without intruding on your privacy one bit. They are considerate in a way that seems to nearly have vanished as of late. You can rediscover profound hospitality here. We enjoyed the Merovigliosso for its peace, pristine cleanliness, and its mixture of stylish modern decor combined with adorable charm typical of Santorini homes. My 18 y.o. daughter and I stayed here for a couple of nights and each evening when we returned we felt so comfortable and cared for, with little snacks and drinks on offer. We absolutely delighted in the apartment’s private terrace area. It felt absolutely enchanting to watch the sun set from this tranquil perch. We’ve stayed in places all around Greece including islands and we know that it can get noisy with mopeds and megaphone announcements, however there is NONE of that here. It is so peaceful! Thank you Kosta, Freddie, and staff. Please don’t change a thing about this charming place.
- Keith (10/5): - This is a most charming apart hotel. We were booked in for one night but because our travel arrangements changed we stayed for three nights.
The rooms were spotlessly clean and everything worked Breakfast is varied and is delivered to the room in a box. There is more than enough good quality food available. Everything is provided in the kitchenette to make tea and coffee as required.
The location has stunning views of the Santorini caldera and the neighbourhood has a wide range of top class restaurants. A fantastic place to have a sundowner and enjoy fabulous food while enjoying amazing sunsets.
However I must save the best until last. The hotel manager Kostas and his colleague Freddy, together with driver Manos and the outstanding housekeeping staff honoured us with the greatest hospitality, courtesy, kindness and consideration that anyone could expect.
- Milad (10/5): - Very clean
Amazing staff
Loved the location
Airport shuttle
Great breakfast
- Rao (10/5): - Very tidy place and good breakfast. Staff are nice and friendly
- Fui (10/5): - Kudos to Kostas and team! Airport transfer is definitely a plus point and all the staffs are very friendly and accommodating. The housekeeping lady accommodated our early request for breakfast and ensured we have a very comfortable stay.Thank you for the hospitality, we enjoyed our time here.
- Adrian (10/5): - Great location, perfect accommodation for our needs, Kosta and his team did everything to make us feel welcome and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was a selection of different things each morning. We would definitely stay here again
- Joyce (10/5): - From the moment I stepped up to the front door, I wanted to move in! What a gift! A true oasis! The service was top notch: Personalized and professional, warm, & friendly! The rooms and grounds are gorgeous and true to the culture! The staff was completely accommodating, and personable! I lived my stay at Merovigliosso! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND WOULD COME BACK IN A HEARTBEAT!
- Joyce (10/5): - From the moment I stepped up to the front door, I wanted to move in! Everything was top-notch, clean, gorgeous, personable, professional, and everyone was truly accommodating! The pool was clean and warm, and fresh pool towels were available, breakfast was unexpected and included! Delicious! The architecture and all of the amenities were not just appealing to the eye, they were satisfying to the soul! I can’t wait to come back! Rush and book your stay at this amazing hotel!
- J8213JInicholass (10/5): Far exceeded our expectations! - Our stay at Merovigliosso was excellent.
It was our first holiday with our 6 month old baby & this was the perfect choice of accommodation! Kostos picked us up and dropped us off from the airport, put a baby crib in the room & even gave our little boy a ball to play with.. all without asking. To say we were impressed would be an understatement. He also gave us lots of reccomendations for our weeks stay! Service was impeccable!
The Appartment facilities surprised us, the breakfast was lovely & they kept us topped up with coffee / tea / jam / butter / water. There was a little microwave / toastie maker / fridge / cutlery etc which saved us a fortune on breakfast and lunch. What amazing value for money, topped off by the heated communal plunge pool which was welcome after a day of walking!
I would highly recommend merovigliosso to anyone!
- Sophie (10/5): - The room was lovely and the workers were all super nice. Definitely recommend!
- Destiny (10/5): - More affordable, very accommodating, and very welcoming!
- jayneg169 (10/5): We will be back! Best views in Santorini - The staff is SO FRIENDLY _ especially the housekeeper. The place is very clean and even in the off season there are plenty of options to eat nearby. We stayed on the lower level and it was fabulous — we were not in our room very much. The best spot on the entire island to watch the sunset is from across the street or on an upper balcony.
- David (10/5): - The property manager went far above and beyond to make our stay absolutely perfect.
- Luis Alberto (10/5): - Kostas and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. They gave us great tips and recommendations
- Tan Boon Jay (10/5): - Very nice apartment style. Able to see Oia from the apartment, along with a nice view of the caldera
- Rizza (10/5): - Initially the complimentary airport transfer was a big factor for us choosing to book this property and we were so glad we did! The staff were all so great and the daily breakfasts delivered to our unit were all very delicious. The unit itself was very clean and well maintained and the view of the caldera from the terrace was really nice. The location is in a more quiet side of the island but convenient to the Fira via 30 min scenic walk or local bus. We took the trail and enjoyed a nice hike to Oia and took the bus back. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.
- Fiona (10/5): - Loved the whole vibe of the property, and the staff were always kind and friendly. Breakfast was good too with fruit, pastry, toast each morning and fresh orange juice. The pool was good (but cold though). The sunsets on the area were amazing, and the views when you walk around are great.
- Tannaz Dadras (10/5): - I had an amazing stay at Dreamy View! The scenery was breathtaking, with stunning views from every window. The staff provided exceptional service, always friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. I felt completely safe throughout my visit, thanks to the well-maintained property. If you're looking for a beautiful getaway with outstanding service, Dreamy View is the perfect choice! I can't wait to return!
- Brandie Lee (10/5): - Great staff, clean rooms. loved staying here. Beautiful view of the sunset every night
- gerson leandro (10/5): - BEST place to Stay in Santorini. Property Owners are SUPER Attentive and willing to help and accommodate you in the best way possible.
- Suzette (10/5): - The location of the property is the bestseller. Quiet and walkable. The view is amazing. Staff are friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast is a plus with fresh fruits and salad, just hoped there is more variety. They also provided bottled water everyday. Upon arrival, there was a bottle of wine as complimentary for our stay. Fred also gave us room tour on how to operate the security door with code and how to open the patio door. A complimentary airport transfer is also a big plus. They pick you up at the airport and drops you off on your departure day. Those things made a big difference in our decision to pick this place. There are different restaurants options around the area and grocery stores for your basic needs. There is a bus stop that goes to Oia down the street about 15 minutes away and a different bus stop going to Fira that is 10 minutes walk. The bus going to Fira is every hour. The bus going to Oia is more frequent. The location of place, cleanliness of the room, staff, and view makes this area an amazing choice. We got the best value our money.
- Adarsh (10/5): - Great location and communication with costa was great.
- DonnaK335 (10/5): Stay here if at all possible - This is the place to stay on Santorini. First of all the staff, Kostas, Freddie and the housekeeper (I wish I gotten her name), made our stay so comfortable.
They were welcoming and attentive to any of our needs. That included him immediately responding to an electrical problem after we returned from a late dinner.
The suite we had was an upgrade they offered instead of the one I had booked. Also they were gracious in allowing us to rebook after our trip in May had gotten interrupted.
The room had 2 bathrooms and 3 showers , 2 bedrooms with large beds, kitchen, dining area, living room, 3 patio areas! It had an indoor hot tub and a larger on one of the decks.
The location was perfect for walking to many restaurants in town. We loved sitting on one of the patios with the amazing, unobstructed view. It was fun watching passersby who were walking the “trail” from Fira to Oia. It is a trek I do not recommend because it is arduous, especially in the heat, even in mid September. We walked a little ways on it one evening. Parts were very rough large volcanic cobblestone that was hard to traverse with sturdy shoes. Most people we saw were not properly attired for such a hike.
Back to the wonderful room where we spent most of our time on Santorini.
They brought us breakfast each morning. They were delicious meals that included several courses. It was so much food, that we would also make a lunch from the parts we couldn’t finish each morning.
I hope you are lucky and stay here. Imerovigli is not as touristy as Fira or Oia and it is conveniently located.
We drove to Oia for dinner one night. It was insane with sooooo many tourists. I would not enjoy staying there at all.
- Jessica (10/5): - Wonderful area beautiful view from the room excellent customer service and walking distance from everywhere
- Chandrashekhar Jayantibhai (10/5): - Don’t think, book it!
We had a great time. Staff and the Manager were very helpful.
- Poria (8/5): - Nice, cute apartment with very friendly and helpful staff. However it was a bit noisy and there was a bad strong odor coming occasionally!
- Matthew (10/5): - What a fantastic location to stay. Nestled in between Thira and Oia this is an ideal location for someone wanting to explore Santorini but be slightly away from the crowds. There are two supermarkets a stones throw from the hotel and some great eateries nearby. The apartment complex is intimate with Kostas and his team making your stay as comfortable as possible. If you’re still searching for a hotel, look no further - this is your one!
- sitha (10/5): - Staffs are super nice , clean
- Phill (10/5): Amazing Santorini!! - From the greeting upon arrival we knew that we were in for a fantastic stay- lucky upgrade for first three days allowing the luxury of sun terrace and jacuzzi bath !
Breakfast is delicious delivered to your room at chosen time - eggs soft boiled cheese ham toastie breads fresh pastry and fruit cover you also for lunch! Fresh orange juice delivered along with litre of water .
Rooms are very spacious tastefully decorated and well equipped with pans and hot plate available if you want to self cater - lovely large fridge stocked with jam honey and butter.
Room service is daily.
Outdoor pool lovely temperature and lots of free pool towels available.
Costas and Freddie are at hand to help with advice on visits restaurants or just general chat about the area.
Lots to do around the property with supermarkets bars and restaurants surrounding the property.
No noise from outside but perfect views of the sunset.
We spent four days here moving to studio on last day and it was every bit as good super luxury throughout!
- Cassandra (10/5): - We had a lovely stay, the breakfast each morning was wonderful
- Tracy (10/5): - The view from our apartment was amazing. It was located in walking distance to all amenities but about 2.5 km from Fira. The included breakfast was delicious and the hosts were great.
- KayMarie (10/5): - Great property, they treated me very nice!
I would definitely stay there again. Kostas was very attentive to all needs. It’s a great apartment to stay in!
- jing (10/5): - Amazing view of the seaside. V quite village away city buzz. Free transfer btw airport. V convenient location for walking along the cliff side to fira.
- Pallavi (6/5): Mediocre Experience - Our stay at this apartment was very mediocre. Some of the pros included a large space for families, 2 bathrooms, a private jetted tub, great views, complimentary welcome wine, and several balconies. Many of the cons included light coming in through the window and vehicle noises during the night, low ceiling in the upper level (not convenient for adults), and breakfast was poor quality and could only be delivered during a short period of time. Vehicle noises were terrible and we were not able to sleep 2/3 nights. Far better apartments and hotels within the price range.
- Mark (10/5): - Romantic and scenic apartment near the Immeroviglia cliff with incredible million dallar views.
- Shehzeen (10/5): - A beautiful and tranquil place to stay. Not a lot in terms of food nearby but there is a bakery that delivers. Staff were extremely helpful and provided transportation to and from the airport.
- Jamie (10/5): - Wonderful kind ciurteous professionals with a beautiful and quaint property!
- Jamie (10/5): - Wonderful, kind, polite and courteous staff in an absolutely quaint boutique hotel. Would recommend this stay to my dearest friends!
- Gopalvk (10/5): Great stay, view and exceptional service - Santorini is loved by more people in pictures than in person. This place makes it real. The view from the terrace is awesome and so is the view from the front. Kostas and team make it special. We were impressed
- Elena (10/5): Absolutely would return! - To stay in santorini in that location for the price we paid, was well worth it. My husband wanted a higher end place with a view but having no view and saving so much money allowed us to take excursions guilt free. However, staying here was not a sacrifice other than no view in the room we had. The room was airy, bright, roomy with daily housekeeping and breakfast which was very generous. Kostas and the cleaning woman were so kind, thoughtful and helpful.
- Rosemary (10/5): - We loved staying here! This location is perfect if you want to be away from the crowds but still have great views, be near great restaurants and be not too far from Fira.
The manager and housekeeper were lovely and super accomodating, especially dropping us off at the airport on our last day. We enjoyed the breakfast and complimentary gifts too. Would stay here again ☺️
- DURRESHAHWAR (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The manager Kostas was very nice and helpful. He provided free transfer from our hotel to Fira Bus terminal where we then took the bus to Athinios port. Kostas also provided a lot of insight and information about the Island which we greatly appreciated.
The cleaning lady was also really nice and did an amazing job with cleaning our room. She was also really friendly and did a great job making breakfast for everyone.
- gmmarrese (10/5): Best spot in Santorini - My friend and I were visiting Santorini for our first time and decided to stay here. From the minute we arrived I knew we made the best choice. Kosta greeted us as soon as we arrived and was the sweetest and most helpful host. He carried our very heavy suitcases to our room, what a gentlemen! The room was impeccable and the views were truly magical. The area we were in was quaint and less crowded than other areas on the island. They provided a delicious breakfast every morning as well. We were only able to stay two nights and we very sad to leave. But we will definitely be back and highly recommend staying here. Thanks again Kosta we appreciate everything !
- Lambrini (10/5): - My friend and I were visiting Santorini for our first time and decided to stay here. From the minute we arrived I knew we made the best choice.

- Sophie (10/5): - Best place ever. Had such a great stay, super friendly staff, delicious breakfast, excellent location. The view was amazing and the hot tub was superb. They upgraded us for free as well. Definitely staying here again when we come back.
- Dallas (10/5): Our favorite vacation place yet! - From the second we landed at the airport in Santorini everything was beyond exceptional! Kostas picked us up the airport and was so gracious with carrying our luggage and settling us into our beautiful room. We travel ALOT and we’ve never seen such hospitality! The kitchenette and fridge were filled with delicious items and we were so grateful that they thoughtfully replenished daily! The room was perfectly cleaned and stocked. The location was perfect and we absolutely took the recommendations of The Avocado and Dear Elie restaurants (on each side of the property) the food and service were out of this world! We were given a very thorough list of recommendations as well, all fantastic. The property had stunning views of the sunset and it was close to markets Etc but very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed our talks with Kostas and the extra effort that was put into EVERYTHING! We rarely want to return to a location so quickly but this beautiful introduction to Greece was perfection and we’re planning our return. Much Love, Jenn & Dallas
- Sharon68186605 (10/5): Fantastic - 100% recommend this lovely property. - My husband, son and I stayed for 10 days and from the moment we arrived at the airport the experience was top notch.
The property is run very professionally by Kostas and Roula, supported by the Zamira and Freddy. In addition, they are the friendliest, most helpful hotel team I have encountered. They really care about their guests and go above an beyond to ensure the best possible stay.
On the night of our arrival Kostas picked us up at the airport - this was particularly welcome bonus as we arrive very late at night.
The accommodation is traditional & quaint and is beautifully styled, with every amenity needed for a very comfortable stay. My husband and I stayed in duplex apartment and our son in a studio apt.
The lovely breakfast (freshly squeezed orange, fresh fruit, selection of sweet & savoury pasties and eggs) arrived on a tray each morning delivered by the always smiling Zamira. Sometimes we had it on our balcony and other mornings on the terrace over-looking the pool.
The rooms were spotlessly clean and Zamira did an amazing job every day.
Our duplex (room 2) had a balcony which gave a birds-eye view of the famous Santorini sunset and it was large enough for the 3 of us to sit and have dinner on the evenings we didn't want to go out to a restaurant.
I thought the studios might be a little dark because they are downstairs but this is definitely not the case. They are bright and airy with their own terrace.
Both the duplex and the studio had a kitchenette with Nespreso machine & coffee pods, sandwich toaster, microwave, pots, pans, crockery, glassware and cutlery. The fridge was stocked with everyday essentials (milk, bread, fruit juice, cheese, ham, jams and butter) and was replenished when items were used.
The linens used are high quality and are changed 3 times during the week.
The air-conditioning is was very efficient and gave very welcome relief as the temperature rarely dropped below 30C during our stay.
We made use of the pool every day and even though it is not very big we loved having a dip in the afternoon.
We needed to have laundry done - again Kostas took care of this for us.
The town of Imerovigli is within easy walking distance of Fira but I recommend using the local bus to get back if out and about during the day. It's only a 2.5km walk but it is uphill on the way back and there is little or no shelter along the path.
Thank you Kostas, Roula, Zamira and Freddy- we cannot wait to return :-)
- Kim (8/5): - Property amazing. Views from the apartment and opposite spectacular. Staff very helpful. Would recommend staying.
Area: Location isolated, bus service once an hour starting around 10am, few taxis around.
- nsh70 (10/5): Highly recommended stay in Santorini - We booked this place owing to its superb location size (7 rooms) and boutiqueness for 3 nights. Our tour reviews indicated it's best to stay between Oia and Thira. We were not disappointed with Imeroviglion location and this hotel in particular. Kostas was very responsive to our requests.
We were picked up from the ferry port by arrangement and upon arrival were given the option of room upgrade. We stayed in a 2 storey room facility facing the pool. The ground floor had the living room, kitchen, bathroom with spa bath and balcony at the rear. The front entrance had a table and chairs facing the pool. Through flight of steps we entered the master bedroom with entrance to the deck facing the caldera - amazing view.
We were given local white wine as a welcome drink together with fully stocked fridge, fruits and snacks etc. The daily breakfast was great and swim in the pool at the end of each day was great.
Kostas and his team were very pleasant and supportive. The location is great to go to all the local restaurants. Above all you don't need to go to Oia to get a view of the sunset. You can do no better then sitting in your private deck sipping away your drink. We found Anigo restaurant a wonderful recommendation .... It's one of the best restaurant for food quality and service (booking essential and open for dinners only).
Thank you again Kostas for this wonderful experience.
- Laura (10/5): - I has a wonderful stay at Merovigliosso Apartments! The location is perfect and the staff were amazing! I got picked up from the airport on arrival, fresh breakfast every morning and the location was the best sunset in Santorini! So happy with my stay here!
- Kristyn (10/5): - Everyone at this hotel was so nice! They will upgrade you as much as they can with no extra cost and makes sure all of your needs are met. I would highly recommend them!
- Buzzaroy (10/5): Lovely accomodation in great location - We just stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. Great location with views across the road, lovely little warm pool to relax around in the afternoons, renovated rooms, and friendly helpful owners/staff. We would definitely stay here again.
- JoshNZDennison (10/5): Love love love - Love this place. Excellent rooms, perfect location to experience santorini in peace, but close enough to Fira to be apart of the action. Situated between 2 amazing restaurants with amazing sunset views. Large apartment with comfortable bed and a fridge full of food that gets restocked daily! Excellent value for money. Highly recommended
- jackiemF7307YG (10/5): Santorini accommodation standout - This has been one of the very best places we have stayed at in 15 years of travelling. Great units with breathtaking views from the 3rd floor balcony. Kostas and his team really provide top quality friendly service. Pastries delivered daily and if any of the team were heading into town transport was offered
- 534charleep (10/5): Incredible Service and Beautiful Stay - To start with Kosta and the team at Merovigliosso were amazing. They went above and beyond for whatever we needed and were incredibly friendly.
We were upgraded for our first few days and got to stay in one of the gorgeous suites which were beautiful! The sunset view from this hotel is hands down the best!!
Kosta also gave us plenty of recommendations well as a very descriptive email and a booklet of all the things he recommended. The rooms were perfect, had great air conditioning and all potential amenities! The fridges being stocked was an excellent touch which meant we didn't need to panic if we ran out of water!
We cannot thank Kosta and Co for the best week! We will be singing Merovigliossos praises to everyone and very much hope to return!
- slp16 (10/5): Charming Apartment - Lovely quaint apartment. Kostas was very welcoming. He provided great tips. Everything was exceptional (the staff, amenities, centrally located - bus stop is within walking distance, etc.). We highly recommend this place.
- albertobiano77 (10/5): Fantastic - Excellent 👍👍👍 very happy, beautiful apartment, nice view and clean; very kind person the owner and the rest of the staff too.
Spacey ground floor with nice big angle sofa, nice indoor hot tub and upstairs the bedroom with a balcony/view.
- klc3004 (10/5): Small getaway - Fantastic find for a 3 night getaway
Upgraded us to lovely apartment
Every day small fruit basket or cake lovely
Spotlessly clean as zamira works hard
Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone
Enjoy the peace the view the hospitality
- Leon (10/5): - Very modern and updated accommodations. Large in-room jacuzzi tub and rain head shower. Bedroom was upstairs and had a step out balcony overlooking the sea. Bathrobes and slippers were a nice touch, as was the welcoming bottle of wine. The maid was wonderful and delivered breakfast to our room each day. It was far beyond a “continental” breakfast, which impressed us. On our last evening of our 17 night stay, we returned from dinner to find several gifts from the manager Kostas, with a note thanking us for staying there. We were very moved by this gesture. My only critique was I expected a stove top for cooking, not a single hot plate. I eventually got a double hot plate. Loving to cook, especially for the extended time we stayed, a stove and oven would have been perfect. We were extremely pleased with our stay and would recommend this property to everyone. Will stay there again!!
- 51linda (10/5): Wonderful character property with great host and location - Host was wonderful and helped with any information...apartments were clean, cute and everything we wanted.
Book a sea view and avoid number 2 as this has the worst view.
Beautiful breakfast
Within reach of all amenities
- Leonard (10/5): Good breakfast and views - Love the breakfast! Though it wasnt a buffet, they have enough food to keep you full. They varied some of the breakfast items everyday too. We stayed in a beautiful 2 storey apartment just overlooking the caldera. Fantastic sunset view from our own balcony. Location was abit out of the way, but no problem since we had a rental car. Overall good value for money.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Pretty well cared for apartments - Lovely character property. Great welcome, lovely rooms and good breakfast.
Within walking distance to shops & supermarkets.
Overall a fab choice.
Negative is the central bin location near to the property is noisily emptied during the night.
Choose a sea view room, preferably not number 2
- harshman (8/5): Lovely room with fantastic view - Lovely place within easy walking distance of Thira, the capital of Santorini. Our room was ideal and our balcony gave a stunning view particularly of the sunset. Access to the balcony is through a small door in the bedroom and may present a small problem for a large tall person but the view is worth the effort. The bedroom wasn't the biggest I have stayed in and you need to be careful not to bang your head on the air conditioning unit at the top of the stairs. Tea/coffee making facilities are in the room and a safe is provided. We booked a superior room which had a spa bath as well as a shower. The breakfast was served outside our room by the pool. Lovely breakfast. The staff were very attentive and helpful and gave tips on places to visit. There are nice restaurants close to the apartments. If you have a 3 night stay or longer you can have complimentary airport transfers. I would stay here again. We had room 2 and our son and grandson had room 3. I would say that these are the best rooms to go for. WE weren't concerned, but there was no TV reception. There is no private parking for the apartments but public parking is nearby though I can imagine it would be difficult to find a space in high season.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice rooms & View of caldera & many taverna nearby but no view of the cliff from the hotel.
- Omar (10/5): - Great location, Beautiful place and the staff always willing to help.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice setting close to cliff edge at top of Imerovigli village. Plenty of nice places to eat close by. Beautiful views over caldera. Kostas very pleasant and helpful host.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Family owned. Very nice people and great owner who explained everything and provided inside scoop on things to see and do. Units are small but cozy with upstairs balcony offering nice views of the sea, caldera, and sunset. Place is also in the convinient location with some great eats steps away and close to Fira for a short walk. There is also a bus stop just couple of minutes away.
- Stelios (10/5): Lovely place t mo stay - We realised that we had found a gem of a place to stay. We were in Santorini for a wedding and most of our friends did not have hotels anywhere near as nice as ours - lovey place
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location and great staff! Love it! Will definitely refer to my friends
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good morning breakfast service ...and locations @@@@@@@@
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Our hosts were friendly and hospitable.
They included a free airport transfer service between 9am and 9pm.
Great views of the caldera and the sunset from our balcony.
Lovely breakfast (especially the Greek Yoghurt!).
After our morning checkout, we were provided with a spare room to allow us to freshen up before our evening flight - which was very helpful and much appreciated.
Highly recommended, great place to stay.
- Tracey (8/5): Beautiful sunset view from private deck - Excellent service. Very friendly staff. Great location. Huge breakfast. Tiny rooms, even by European standards - challenging if you are very tall. Get a sea view room for an amazing sunset view. Could be improved by less scratchy towels and more/better amenities but overall good value for the location.
- Jane (10/5): Stunning superior apartment - Absolutely stunning apartment amazing views of the sunset from the upstairs balcony.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing Caldera View! - This was an amazing little gem of a property with a stunning caldera view. While the room for two was small, it was spotlessly clean. The larger 2 story units were lovely with balconies overlooking the spectacular view. The stand-out feature of this property, however, were the employees. The very large breakfast served by the pool was delicious and plentiful. We had an early flight on the day we left and we came home the night before to a fridge full of food as we were leaving too early to have breakfast at the pool. Kostas, in particular, was very helpful accommodating all of our needs. He is very knowledgable about the island, and he is very willing to assist with anything including arranging an ATV rental for us to explore. Finally, the location of this property was ideal. There were many restaurants within walking distance, and a little store to purchase snacks/water. You could also walk to Fira from this location. Overall, this was an ideal property for our mother/daughter trip, and I would highly reccommend it!
- Tracy (10/5): - The property was ideally situated for everything we needed...lots of traffic but this was due to the area being all hotels and apartments...small private pool and seating area. Staff were helpful and friendly and our breakfast each morning was amazing x We couldnt fault our stay
- Jeff (6/5): - I would classify this as a very average stay on an incredible island. The second floor bedroom had very low ceiling and the walkway to the mini terrace was impossibly low as well so if you are over 6ft, I would probably avoid the rental entirely. Both the shower and tub were prone to flooding. Specifically the bath flooded late at night to the point where we were trying to kick the water out and if we had suitcases on the floor downstairs they would have been drenched. The manager was barely on the property and fairly unresponsive. The morning breakfast was nice but completely average. The Internet was a constant disaster. Not terrible though for the price, just avoid the tub, have good cell service and be short.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely family run place, convenient location in imerovigli , so beautiful, steps from those famous views, big breakfast the owner serves, close to restaurants, public buses, nice mini mart next door, was in Greece second half of April, cant wait to return 😊
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel was very nice and clean. Staffs are really helpful. The location of the hotel was very convenient. Owner gives us free rides to airport which is super nice.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Such an amazing spot for a great price in one of the most beautiful places in the world. We were so well looked after and the breakfast was first class
- Kelly (10/5): Amazing Place - Amazing Location. phenomenal views. Comfortable apartment and bed. Great breakfast. Helpful manager and house keeping
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff was amazingly helpful and went out of their way to accommodate my needs
- RaviC (10/5): - We had stayed here for 3 days after booking it from Orbitz.
This is a hidden gem in Imerovigil, with excellent staff who took care of so well. The property is so well maintained, and clean with very good breakfast. It is located conveniently between the Oia and Thera with a 20 minute walk to Thera. It has a good view of sea from the terrace too.
We got a room that has queen bed in the 2nd floor with 2 sofa beds which were convenient for our kids to sleep downstairs. Well equipped kitchen with spacious bath room. Close to groceries, restaurants. I highly recommend this to consider for your stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Really nice property! The flat we stayed in was clean, bright, comfortable, with great views from the second floor balcony and an in-room jacuzzi. Very good breakfast was served in the room. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Would definitelly recommend.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Friendly staff and fantastic breakfast - This place was a 10 minutes walk into town, a great place to stay. The last part of the walk was steep but worth it with the friendly staff to greet you. Breakfast was fantastic every morning, the place was spotless.
- Cheong (10/5): - the hotel location is good It is good to most great site.
- Carl (10/5): A special place . - Great hotel and impeccable service.
Fantastic location .
Nothing to fault even a free taxi service to airport or sea port.
As it should be !
Much appreciated.
- Kim S. (10/5): Cozy apartment with friendly staff! - We were only in Santorini for 2 days for our daughter’s wedding so did not get a chance to see anything except the area around the hotel and venue. The staff at the hotel was friendly and picked us up from the airport for a reasonable rate! Our room was small but the rate was good. Complimentary breakfast was awesome and served on a small table outside our room. Bedroom is upstairs and bathroom downstairs. Upstairs a small door takes you out to your balcony. That is where you will have an unobstructed view of the water. This hotel is across the street from the resorts on the side of the hill with the unobstructed views. You will spend a lot more for rooms and restaurants on this side but the views and food was great! There was a restaurant next to our hotel but we didn’t get a chance to eat there. It was always packed! Mini market by the hotel for snacks, water, etc. was convenient. A taxi can bring you to the door of this hotel which is rare. Our daughter’s hotel and the restaurants we visited are many steps straight up and down to get there. Must be able to go the distance to see this area of the island. The views are breathtaking!
- Tony (10/5): Friendly ,family run place. We loved it. - Excellent little hotel with only a few apartments and then some studios downstairs where we were situated. I think the size of it allows for the more personal touch with the guests.
They were on hand to sort anything we needed including transfers to and from the port and even giving us a packed breakfast that we could have in our room prior to leaving on our last day as we were going early.
It's location is good too. Right next to a mini market, bus stop and ATM and just a few steps over the road a sunset and Caldera view to rival anywhere on the island.
The hiking trial passes in front of it which is perfect for breaking it up. Walk to Oia one day and Fira the next.
We would really like to thank Kostas and the rest of the guys there for making us feel so welcome and all their help.
We would definately recommend Merivigliosso to anyone xx
- Sukurat (10/5): - Exceptional. Great customer service
- Grecophile (10/5): Property with breathtaking views - Excellent property with beautiful views! Sunset from the balcony was as beautiful as the one from Oia! Can get to Fira easily by walk or by bus. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property!
Kostas was very helpful and pleasant to deal with! Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend the property.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location quiet and relaxing overlooking the sea .. host was very nice and informative gave us free breakfast. Beds were comfortable and room was very nice. Expedia double booked us so we stayed in the superior apartment and had to move after second day. Only thing I have to say is about the cleanliness the toilet was dirty found hairs and dirt around the hot tub wasn't obviously cleaned from previous occupants.
- Srikanth (8/5): Nice and pecefull villa to stay - Villa is good to stay lazy.. nice view opposite to this villa. Nice scinic spots opposite to this villa. Water problem exists. 2kms away from Fira which is central place of Santorini. If any indian who is foody then i suggest them to take a place in and around 1km from Fira. Overall great place to stay.
- Tadeusz (10/5): Absolute gem on Santorini - The apartment is absolutely perfect!
Location could not be better; beats Fira and Oia as it is away from the thousands of overcrowded caldera units, yet a walking distance everywhere. Has easy access by car with plenty of parking.
Excellent views.
Serviced daily, clean and comfortable.
Heating, Sat TV, good kitchenette.
Those complaining in other reviews perhaps should travel by Google and stay in their own comfortable beds with sealed road access, hight ceilings etc, etc.
Santorinin and Imerovigli were just wonderful. Would recommend it to everyone eager to see and accept Greece and Greek culture.
