- Harold (8/5): - Pros- Very clean , comfortable, super staff! A little pricey , but similar to other similar style men’s hotels. Had a great time! Cons- not really walkable ( unless you’ve got 25-30 mins) to Wilton Dr where the restaurants and bars are . Wish they had a full bar and onsite restaurant. They do have a very limited menu for lunches and dinners. Breakfast is continental only. (There is a close by place though called Egg n you with full breakfasts and lunches, and is wonderful that is a 6-8 min walk)

The atmosphere is great, the grounds and rooms are clean. GM Tim is amazing, friendly, welcoming and shows he takes pride in his work and the resort; the entire staff does. House keeping is not excluded, they too are very friendly and willing to help with anything you need.

- John (10/5): What a great place - What a great place to stay. Good location near to everything gay :) All staff are super friendly and helpful. Can't recommend the place highly enough.
- Christopher (6/5): - If it weren’t for the staff, this wouldn’t have been that great. My room was quite small and the head of the bed was about 2 feet from the door. The kitchen cabinets are chipped and worn, the faucet doesn’t really run much cold water, and the shower is quite small. The furnishings are quite dated and there isn’t really anywhere comfortable to sit on a rainy day. There is no clear place to recycle plastics or glass, so there is quite a bit of waste as the cafe for breakfast (pre-wrapped pastry and cereal) produces quite a bit of waste. The pool was nice, the hot tub was cozy, the gardens were lush and the staff were fantastic. If the owners invested some money in some upgrades — including a fresh coat of paint to the rooms and some upgrades to Smart televisions, this could be stellar.

- Jordan (10/5): A Fantastic Little Gay Haven - I was hesitant to stay here because I didn’t want to be far from the beach, but I realized after one day that I didn’t even need the beach and that the 24 hour pool and jacuzzi were PERFECT! Tim, the front desk manager was accommodating from check-in to check-out and was always at the ready to provide me recommendations for places to eat, things to do and, most effectively, how to get around Wilton Manors. The property is also beautiful and has a gated back deck you can sit on and look over the inlet with all of the flora and trees surrounding it I cannot WAIT to stay here again!

- Stephen (4/5): - When I first got there I was greeted by the general manager. I forgot his name. I went to my room and was very disappointed. It didn’t have a a comforter on top of sheets never cleaned room. All they did was changed the towels. Later on that evening once I got settled in I’ve heard the automatic gate oped and closed The traffic you could also hear. The pool was filled with pine needles I’d would say. Didn’t see anyone clean it. The hot tube chemicals were to powerful to even stay in it for too long I was going to Address my experienced to the GM unfortunately he was off. When he was off for a couple of days at that time I had just figured it was one of his employees. I went to the desk for some issues I had He asked me what they were. I then told him the pictures of the cockroach in my room. He stated, it’s Florida and he also told me they exterminate every month. Which I seemed hard to believe. Then went to take shower and the hose was spitting out water, more than the shower head Someone fixed it.So you guys can figure out how you would address these concerns. If you were to ask me if I would come back and tell my friends this is a great place to stay. I would definitely let them know not to including myself

- John (10/5): SERENITY FOUND!! - We always stay at The Cabanas when we visit Fort Lauderdale! This place is so beautiful and relaxing! Walk to shops and dining, on site parking, beautifully appointed and comfy rooms. Tiki bar serves great food and drinks. The crowd is always diverse and friendly. The staff is beyond AMAZING! The clothing free option is wonderful for us. The pools, hot tubs and steam room are kept in perfect condition. The SPA is also AMAZING! A MUST STAY!!

The Tiki bar is so fun and the bar food is REALLY delicious! We were in room #9 with a king size bed. My favorite room is #4. The beds and rooms are so COMFORTABLE! You can walk to downtown Wilton Manors and in the other direction to so many great restaurants! The clientele is people from everywhere and there is no attitude at all. The Spa services are AMAZING! This place is a 10 for gay male travel!

The property is so well maintained, the staff is so fun and professional, the location is Amazing, and the attitude of the guests is so relaxed and enjoyable! The rooms are v Updated and kept very clean. The Air conditioning is amazing, and the beds are so comfortable! The clothing optional pool, spa and steam room are perfectly maintained and the Tiki bar is always well stocked and a great place to chill. Paradise found!

John and Tim were very sensitive to the ongoing problems and did their best to sanitize and keep surfaces as clean as possible. It was a tough time but they did their best to keep all spirits up. - Verified traveler (10/5): - The property is beautiful. Adjacent to a waterway and privacy landscaping make it a charming getaway. The staff and spa is 1st class and they keep the rooms clean and well kept up. A large heated pool (clothing optional) and nice steam room add to the amenities. We had a small problem with our bedframe and within 5 minutes, the owner and a staff member came to our room and repaired it quickly. Nice friendly atmosphere and the guests take their cues from that too. A wonderful vacation spot.
- J (10/5): - It was very relaxing, and the property itself is lush and beautiful. My gripes are very minor and maybe a generational thing as I’m a milleniel and maybe not their primary demographic. Seeing a sign that asks patrons not to urinate in the steam room was worthy of an eye roll each time. Really, people do that? And you have to remind them not to?? Blah. The owners are ultra friendly and super accommodating. The rooms themselves were nice and clean. Would have been nice to have a hair dryer. The steam room closes a bit earlier than I’d like but makes sense given that the office closes at 7. The breakfast that is provided free will feed you okay, no wow factor; coffee and the essentials are provided but psst there’s a Krispy Kreme down the street, and their original glazed are served hot ;) Overall I would definitely stay again if I was looking to do the whole guesthouse experience. Their pools are heated to a great temp, plenty of pool loungers and friendly attitudes to go around.

- Brian (8/5): Super little all men resort. - I had a wonderful stay at Cabanas. Was my firsr time . The place is very well kept. Beautifully clean and the staff are super nice. There is s good reason why there is a disclaimer on their site about not guaranteeing quiet. I live in a very quiet place and this delightful place is on a very busy road at a very busy intersection so traffic and emergency vehicle noise is very hard to adjust to. That is a long explination for a small "but" if you live in any busy city it will be fine for you. I will go back without any thought

John and Bill have built a friendly and comfortable resort where guests can relax and be themselves. The staff is wonderful and always accomodating. I would recommend the Cabanas to those traveling for leisure or on business. Once you check in, you won’t want to leave.

I was given a short tour of the facility and made to feel comfortable to ask any questions about the resort or information on near by places. Having a 24 hour pool and hot tub were great when it cooled down at night but was still warm and I wanted fresh air.
