- Carlos (10/5): Best hotel we have stayed at in Florence. - Almost everything was exceptional. Walking distance to the tram in 5 min. Best way to get downtown from the Airport. Pretty much within 10 min walk from anyplace you want to go. Also they have an agreement with a garage if you need to park a car. There are rental cars at the train station 5 min away so its best to just get a day rental when you need it. The cleaning staff removed the soap dispenser from my room the last day. I presume to refill it. But they never put it back. Also I had 3 bottles of water I had purchased in the mini fridge. They removed them and threw them out. The shower was way too small. I kept bumping the water making it too hot, too cold, or shut off by accident. Also the doors didnt seal right so we got water all over the place.

The location was perfect for walking to the few things we had missed in our previous trip and were trying to squeeze in before our flight left the next morning. Room was near the elevator so heard some mechanical noise off and on throughout the night but no street noise.

Camera fredda, il condizionatore credo non funzionasse bene e il termostato non permetteva modifiche. Mancanza di mensole di appoggio in bagno.

- ForPetesSake (10/5): Fabulous Hotel - Excellent hotel right in the heart of the city, 5 minutes walk to the cathedral and train station and 10 minutes to the Palazzo Vecchio and Uffizi. And right on the Santa Maria Novella Church square surrounded by bars and restaurants. Absolutely beautiful room with vaulted ceiling that had been lovingly decorated with renaissance frescos giving it a very classy feeling. The rest of the hotel is immaculately clean and beautifully decorated with some quirky additions like the life size super hero mannequins which sound like they should be naff but are actually very in keeping. All the staff from our lovely chamber maid to the hotel manager were a credit to the place. All so happy, helpful and available to assist with any questions or problems. Breakfast was fresh daily with plenty of choice for all preferences. The only issue we had was some work being done on the building next door which started at 8am. Not really an issue to us as we were up and out around them anyway, and they were usually finished by the afternoon. A couple of suggestions for the hotel management for improvement 1/ More drawer storage required in both the room and the bathroom. Only one small drawer available for clothing etc in the room and nothing in the bathroom to keep toiletries etc. 2/ fix the bed to the wall as if you were in bed watching tv or reading and resting on the headboard the bed would slide away from the wall. These things did not detract however from an overall fabulous stay. Well done Garibaldi Blu

Toda a decoração é muito moderna e charmosa, o atendimento do staff é impecável. o quarto era espaçoso, tinha uma banheira deliciosa para relaxar após um dia intenso de passeios. O bar localizado no andar da recepção serve drinks muito bons e o café da manhã é excelente, um dos melhores hotéis que já fiquei. Foi tudo excelente, nada a ficou abaixo do esperado.

Las almohadas eran muy duras aunque a pedido me las cambiaron otras mas blandas de pluma. Que la puerta del baño tiene una ventanita que deja pasar la luz y despierta al que duerme. Que hubiera cortinas de blackout en la ventana y dejara filtrar luz que no deja descansar bien
- JUDY (10/5): - Because of a train strike, we were stuck in Florence for another day and missed our flight. They did everything possible to help us from checking rental cars, checking limo drivers. Finally we found out that it just wasn’t gonna work so we stayed an extra day which was wonderful And we’re on our way tomorrow to Rome to catch our flight. I can’t say enough good things about them five stars doesn’t cover it.

Room was lovely with a modern bathroom. Breakfast is on the ground floor with a good selection available. Hotel located on the Santa Maria Novella piazza, nice open square as you stepped out of the hotel. A lovely location. An abundance of good restaurants in the immediate area, food lovely. Plus loads more fine restaurants within 10 minutes walk. The Dumo is only 5-10 minutes walk. In fact all central Florence & the river only a short walk away. Lovely city for walking around.

Fantastisk frokost som også serverte prosecco. Sentralt ved åpen deilig piazza. Skal jeg sette fingeren på noe så bestilte vi drinker før vi skulle ut på kvelden, etter 20 min var ikke disse servert og vi måtte da gi beskjed om at vi ikke kunne vente lengre. Det var det eneste minus.

At the front desk, Mr John Wick had an answer for all our questions, and we had plenty. He took the time to give us perfect directions for all of our excursions and madecsure we always had everything we would need. La localisation de l’hôtel est parfaite, hôtel très moderne et design, le personnel aux petits soins, nous retournerons dans cet hôtel à n’en pas douter !! Le petit déjeuner était simple pour un 4 étoiles, tout est en option et payant.
