It needs some upgrades. WiFi wasn't useful too slow, television didn't have volume 😕 just an old ran down property. Be hey I guess you get what you pay for.

- Glenn (8/5): - It was okay the supervisor the manager on grounds was excellent It was an extra refrigerator in there that I didn't need it didn't work it was like a a bookcase reading book case. In the stove I wasn't sure about the stove so I didn't bother to use it I wasn't sure. It looked at a little old fashioned otherwise than that everything was good and okay.

- Guest (8/5): Bis auf wenige Punkte problemloser und angenehmer Aufenthalt - Perla de Sosua ist ohne Frühstück. Lage der Unterkunft ist gut. Fernseher hat teilweise nicht funktioniert und nur ganz wenige Kanäle, fast nutzlos. Internet immer wieder ausgefallen. Das Hotel könnte rundherum ein wenig Erneuerung und Verschönerung gebrauchen.

I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who genuinely cares and is quick to address any concerns. He's diligently working on renovations, so a bit of patience is needed as the place gradually improves. I would definitely choose to stay here again!

- Daniel (2/5): No one should have to vacation here for 28 days as I did - Location and the maintenance man Pablo, but he only spoke Spanish and he was who I had to deal with Loud trumpeting plumbing off and on day and night, plugged shower, dirty and dingy kitchen with little lighting, cheap and uncomfortable furniture hard to sit on, dripping kitchen ceiling from the rain, paint pealing off the walls and ceiling, and an apartment key only Pablo could use effectively, Wi-Fi that had to be reconnected every day. No full kitchen as advertised. One frying pan and some eating utensils. Nothing else. The owner seems nice but apparently does not have the cash to deal with multiple problems. Other apartments may be better but Number8 was depressing . Been coming to DR 21 years. I’m used to third world inconvenience but Never saw anything like this
- Adam (3/5): Avoid, unless you are very low on budget and don't have any expectations - The air condition was working fine. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. There is a working fridge. Huge closet with mirrors on the doors next to the bed. The room was dirty and definitely needs a renovation. I saw a brown stain on the armchair and I don't want to think what it could be. The shower head was spraying in all directions, but not straight. This, plus the fact that it's fixed to the wall makes showering a challenge. The TV was there, but was not connected and not usable. Squeaking fan on the ceiling. Weird and unpleasant setup of lights in the room. Slow and unstable wifi. A water from the freezer is dropping on everything that's stored inside the fridge. The tray for it is missing.

No beach access but if you just need a clean bed and shower. This is a good choice We had rented it because it was supposed to be right on the beach. It isn't. It's about a mile walk

- Victoria (6/5): For the purpose of needing a last minute place it worked. Would probably not stay for long-term. - Served for a last minute booking in Sousa. The grounds keeper was super helpful and made sure that we had all the information we needed to get in and out of the property etc. The communication was a bit challenging as the property owner doesn't live in the area/region and their communication in both English and Spanish was limited. Once we finally managed to get ahold of them and in touch with the ground keeper it ran smoothly, but did take a bit of time to get sorted, especially since we ensured we checked in prior to the last check-in time.
