Michael (9/5): my stay was very comfortable and my needs during my stay were met. - the breakfast was a typical for a continental breakfast. food was hot and ready. coffee machine was down unfortunately but coffee was available in my room. location was out of city limits but where i needed to get to was not an inconvenience. the only inconvenience was the coffee machine at breakfast was out of order but was not a big inconvenience being there was a single cup maker in my room with everything i needed for a cup of coffee. staff could use a little more training on being able to pull a receipt for those guests needing to do expense reports during their stay instead of waiting for the final bill after their stay.

The breakfast was fresh and filling, with several options available. Some fruit would be a great addition. The staff were polite. The staff needs more training. We were sent to an uncleaned room at first, but it was corrected quickly. I would have appreciated an apology from the staff, but they were silent when reassigning a room. Overnight, we noticed the air conditioner was leaking on the carpet, and we notified the front desk when we checked out.

Mary (6/5): Pleasant - I love the suite. The breakfast is usually exceptional. Location is perfect for us because it is close to our family. We have stayed in the same suite for about 8 years and it has the same pullout couch which is very worn and very uncomfortable to sit on or sleep on.

Naruna_TexasDave (10/5): Stopover of Choice - A very well kept and clean overnight stop which gets you away from the interstate. We have made multiple stops here over the years, with the first being only about 3 weeks after it first opened. We do our best to avoid interstates when possible, taking the 2-lane back roads through small rural towns and the Patterson Park BW+ fits nicely with our plans. We have seen it mature over the years into a solid choice for an overnight stay as we travel between Texas & Nebraska to visit family.
Rachel (5/5): I wasn’t pleased at all.it was very uncomfortable! Since we had no heat or extra blankets! - Very clean The heat wouldn’t work so my room was cold and there didn’t provide any extra blankets. The was only a sheet and a really thin “comforter” and the bed was horrible. It was hard!

He is a wonderful employee.

Douglas (8/5): reservation accuracy lacking - We love this hotel and have stayed here multiple times when we are in the area but this time was disappointed when we checked in and were told there were no rooms with a shower only, no tub, which is what we booked. My wife has joint replacements of both hips and 1 knee and stepping into a tub is difficult, and dangerous for her. The walk-in shower is the main reason we stay here.

Dan (6/5): - To start with, the room TV wouldn't change channels. Although the staff came promptly to try and fix it, their solution didn't last long, and we ended up with only one station for the night. The bathroom had a unpleasant sour smell as if it had been mopped with a dirty mop, and both toilet paper rolls were nearly out of paper. While the room was comfortable, the carpet had not been vacuumed thoroughly, and loose dirt was near the bed. Additionally, it would have been nice to have some USB ports available. This room was designated as a handicapped room, and we were not offered any alternative options. We have stayed at this property before, and this experience was disappointing. Im a retired Marriott associate from my experience they need to pay more attention to details. However, the staff were very courteous and attentive.

RestaurantCurmudgeon (10/5): Another good stay! - Great place to stay for the Walnut Valley Festival 9 miles away. We have stayed here for several years now and hotel folks here are great. Of the hotels in the immediate area, this one is hands down the best. Pool, plenty of parking, breakfast, and a quiet environment make this hotel a great place to stay.

Leisa (8/5): I did enjoy my stay except for the Water issues, I would stay there again. - The hotel was very clean, bed was comfortable. Rooms had microwave and small fridge. The staff was friendly. The water stopped in the middle of my shower. I had to turn off the faucet then turn it back on, water pressure was low. There was a sign at the front desk stating issues with water. The hair dryer cord was so short I had trouble drying my hair. Will ask for another hair dryer next time. I forgot to use my aarp discount.
Beverly (10/5): Our stay - Our room was very comfortable very clean. The only problem that we had the shower the water pressure it wasn’t enough that water kept turning off while you were in the shower and you’d have to pull the shower plug on and off a couple times to get it to come back and it would stop. I was surprised that we didn’t have made service on Saturday because we didn’t have fresh towels that would probably be my only complaint other than that we had an excellent visit and stay.

It’s close to both Winfield and Ark City so it’s easy to get to restaurants. On our last stay, we had our dog and the staff was helpful in securing a pet friendly room for us.
