There were still products such as shampoo, conditioner and body wash left on the top ledge of the shower frame from the previous guests. There were a.few noisy.guests throughout the night. Was woken up several times by.guests that.appeared to either be going outside for a.cigarette, banging doors of rooms and there were guests that arrived back to motel very late that were quite.loud during the wee hours.of.the morning.

There are a number of rooms occupied I believe with permanent residents that are obviously drug users with there dogs living with them in the rooms.Were still outside there rooms at 3.30am talking loudly.The room was also not as clean as it should be.

Woltring (10/5): Always like staying there. - We have stayed at your hotel a number of times over the last seven years. It is located well for all the places that we go, is great value for money, offers toaster and microwave so we can make our own breakfast/lunch etc when it's more convenient or we have time pressures and don't have time to eat out and we have never felt any need to stay somewhere else. The pillows were a bit flat for our liking but we just used two pillows and it worked out just fine.

Tracy Yiu (10/5): It is on my accommodation booking list. We will book it again in the future definitely. - The accommodation location was easy to navigate. Motel staff was friendly and helpful. The photos were not matched to the room we stayed. Our room was not at the location, and we were relocated to the Yarra Valley Motel. Two accomodations are under same management. It was far from Econo Lodge Lilydale. There were heaps of onsite parking on both sites that saved my parking panic. I could park right outside my room and unloaded my luggage. The room were quite new, clean, tidy, well-present and prepared and no odd smell. The beds were comfortable. The shower was with good water pressure and could have nice hot shower after having a long drive. Most of time were very quiet in the motel. Overalls, we were very happy and satisfied to our stayed at Yarra Valley Motel. I am highly recommended to everyone to book Econo Lodge Lilydale or Yarra Valley Motel. I did not have anything I did not like.

Free car parking. No iron or ironing board in the room (but not a massive deal). Looks like there used to be a restaurant on site. Would be incredible if it were to ever be reopened again.

MacDonald (9/5): Overall - Nothing complicated about booking or showing up. No pressure to pick up everything and go after the trip. The room was cool and not hot, shower pressure was good. Fridge kept water we brought cool. The locks on the door were very hard to deal with, like the key just didn't properly fit. The pillows were subpar, had to use the spare doona to provide some means of comfort.

The fact that the fire hydrant says “please stop cutting the hose” and the police banging on the neighbours door at 3:30am because they stole a car. Regardless if it’s value for money, safety was not met.

Ton (7/5): Value for money good for one or two night's - As the name says Econo so it is cheaper. Rooms are spacious and clean. Great bathroom but they do not clean the rooms or replace towels or make up beds. You can get new towels but have too to reception yourself. All good as it is a cheaper stay so value for money. If you want it all done for you go somewhere else if you li k e a clean cheap pkace tostay book it. Nothing, don't expect premium service for minimum price.
Penny (4/5): Thanks for the accommodation - The rooms are VERY spacious. The bathroom is beautifully renovated and the pressure in the shower is wonderful. It was a warm couple of days and the air-con did a great job. The bed was very uncomfortable. No iron or ironing board. It is obviously not a NO SMOKING facility as we could smell cigarette smoke throughout the night and even more so each time we walked out the door. The place may well have been temporary accommodation during the bushfires (not sure) but there were a couple of dogs barking ALL NIGHT in the rooms right at the bottom of the stairs below our room. The same dogs (one a staffy) sat at the window of that room, barked loudly and lunged at the window each time we walked past the room.
