Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (8/5): Spacieux et central - Excellent rapport qualité prix pour cet endroit. Très spacieux.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great Old Montreal location - I decided to stay at this property because of its amenities versus what a hotel would offer. The loft is well maintained and provides all kitchen tools, dishes, etc. The check in process was via phone and video chat. The concierge will provide you with the access code when you call. There is not a concierge on site however our check in was problem free. You do have to climb a set of stairs so keep that in mind if you have any physical limitations. The loft itself was spacious for myself and my two daughters. There was a Murphy bed which was a nice surprise so we each had our own bed.
My issue with the property was the noise. This property does face a very busy street along with businesses below so night time isn't always peaceful. One morning (4:30a) we were awakened to drilling from construction that was going on in the building. However, if street noise doesn't bother you I would recommend this property.
- Mitsugu (6/5): 注意してください。 - バスタブが大変滑りやすく転んでしまいました。ゴムマットが必要です。
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I’m not sure why taxes were so high for this room. There was not enough hot water for more than 2 people to take a shower. Very clean and spacious though
- Wolrd Traveler (8/5): Great location! - We only had 3 days in Montreal and this apartment was perfect for us. Great location, convenient to old Montreal and to business district, metro, and great restaurants.
Renting an apartment we expected it would be different from staying in a hotel, here are a few examples and considerations:
1. No on site check in. Had to call the company to get a lock box code to get in -- good thing we had international calling! Otherwise, it was easy and fairly smooth.
2. No daily cleaning service - laundry room included in rent.
3. Limited TV cable channels
- dafni (10/5): Great location - This 2 bedroom apartment was great. Was very clean. I thought I had a comfortable mattress but WOW those beds were so comfortable!!! Close to everything. Customer service was very helpful and polite. Would definitely stay there again and I have also recommended it to family and friends. Thank you for a comfortable stay, wish it was for a few days longer!!!!
- Jennifer (10/5): Spacious gem in Old Montreal! - Beautiful apartment - much bigger than I had expected. Beds were comfy and tons of towels were provided. Meticulously clean and a nice place to hang out as we planned our adventures. Walking distance to all of Old Montreal. Only negative was a construction project across the street that began work at 5 am but that is not in the control of the hotel and is obviously short term. Location was wonderful - we walked all over old town and the best restaurants were on our block. Would stay again!
- Barbara (8/5): Great price, great location, love this place! - My daughter and I ran up to Montreal for a weekend in between of visiting college campuses. It was a VERY cold weekend, but we still had a blast. The place was really cool and a great place to hole up to get out of frigid temps.
Word of warning, the building is old, maybe even historic. The noise level is pretty high, we could clearly hear the people in the unit above us walking down the hall. Also, the heating is uneven, so the bedrooms are chilly while the living room and dining area get pretty hot. Also, no one is on site, but the women from Like a Hotel were able to get us in to the unit without any problem.
We loved this place and will definitely be back! Oh, and rooftop deck in the summer would be fabulous!
- Jonathan (10/5): - Beautiful modern hotel in great location central to Old Quebec.
- Charles (4/5): Not a good experience overall! - I can't really recommend this place even though it's in a very convenient location for exploring Old Montreal. First of all, it's very complicated getting into the place--lockbox, multiple keys, codes, etc. It's up two long flights of stairs (no elevator), and unfortunately we had lots of luggage and packages that we weren't comfortable leaving in the car. Also, the internet was very slow and only two devices could access it at the same time. The apartment is clean and very tastefully decorated, but was missing some little things--no hooks for towels in the bathroom, the wine opener was broken, etc.
Another drawback was the noise level--the bedrooms are in the front and there's lots of street noise, especially when the bars closed in the evening.
But the biggest problem was our car was broken into in the nearby lot and we had to have our window replaced. There is no onsite parking for the building and none of the lots nearby have attendants all night. We were told by the lot attendant that three cars had been broken into that same night, and they were all from out of town. So beware!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Birthday Weekend - Appartment was fantastic, better than the pictures. Great location. Rooms were clean and bright, place had everything we needed, aven an apple TV box. Rooftop was amazing for hanging in the sunshine.
